Very tasty and authentic Mexican food. It's always quick and everything was delicious. Only a few seats, but you don't eat for too long. I think the ordering machines are good, but when we were there some people, especially older people, found it a bit overwhelming.

The machine where you have to order also booked water without me telling you. I had to pay this too. A friend also simply added drinks to the machine. In addition, the food and drinks were extremely expensive.

Food was top notch, the best tacos I had in Freiburg. You order the food on a machine, but the staff is very friendly to help. I do wish there was more places to sit. But there will never be enough when the food is so good 😁

A small shop where you can easily order contactlessly on a screen. The food is ready very quickly and very tasty. We had 6 tacos for €25, which is a bit expensive, but you can tell the quality. Therefore the price is ok. Very happy again.

We were there for lunch on Saturday around 1 p.m. Orders are placed at digital terminals. We had several tacos, all of which were delicious. There is a star deduction for the prices --> 4 x 🌮 = €24 (without drink)

I was SHOCKED having tacos this good in Europe. Me and my wife travel all the time and this is the best Mexican food we’ve had on this side of the planet. Tacos are incredible and staff is kind and quick.

When all the other snack bars in Freiburg depress me, I go to YepaYepa. I work in the city center and have to ask myself the question every day, where do I go for lunch? Market hall is okay, burgers, pizza and co. You can get it in many places, but it's never really tasty, it's more like a portion of calories to get me through the day. But not at YepaYepa! The tacos are always so delicious, I literally inhale them. Birria and Pescado are my favorites. Even if the location is a detour for me, I regularly allow myself the effort. When I take friends or colleagues with me, however, they always complain about the price, for me personally the ratio is right, it just can't be compared with the 6 euro Asia box. I wish you had another location downtown, I would be a regular customer. I've also only been ordering via terminal for a while now, which I personally think is great, it's also an alternative to the cash-only fanatics, absolutely fine. Either way, the best tacos in town.

The tacos are delicious, full of flavor! This is a MUST go place if you are in the city. The shrimp taco is my favorite! They say it is open until 10pm but I walked in at 9:30 and the kitchen was closed. So not sure about the opening hours.

Authentic and good tacos (it's not cheap, but worthy)

My brother-in-law (from the Baja California region of Mexico) helped us find this place before our trip to visit Freiburg, and we were so happy to get the opportunity to find authentic Mexican food in Germany! The portions and prices were great. The flavors were delicious, and the people working are so kind! They have nice seating indoors and outdoors, and a really cozy space. We'll definitely be coming back, what a great find!

The food itself was tasty, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't that good. You pay around €4 per taco, you need at least 5 to fill you up. Seating mainly beer benches, service from self-service machines not really available. Toilet is only accessible through the kitchen. Simply too expensive for a quick snack, so unfortunately it will only be a one-time visit.

Great food here. Can definitely understand why this place is so well rated! And as a bonus, I left my backpack with all my valuable belongings here. Although I only found out after they closed. So I emails them at 22:00 is they had my backpack and got a reply at midnight! Wow, thank god I could sleep that night. Thanks YepaYepa!

The Yepa Yepa in Freiburg impresses with its friendly staff and delicious food. The employees are always friendly and helpful, which makes the visit pleasant. The food was a solid 4 out of 5 – tasted really good, but not great. A small downer for me is that there are now ordering terminals like those at McDonald's or Burger King, which gives the whole thing a fast food feel. In addition, the prices here are slightly higher than in other cities, where you can get larger portions for the same price. Still a good restaurant for a quick Mexican snack!

Only fantastic tacos, but you have to eat a lot of them (and enjoy doing so) to really feel full. That's worth the money. Definitely recommended for enjoyment in between meals or as an appetizer.

Was genuinely pleased and surprised to experience a good level of spice in Germany! My girlfriend is from Arizona and is very familiar with genuine mexican food, and she really loved it. As a vegetarian, the mushroom tacos in particular were lovely. As an additional positive, I was really happy to see they sell Jarritos. I've had a lot of Mexican/Tex-Mex food in my life and this place was well worth the visit!

Great Mexican restaurant, it feels like a taqueria in Mexico! The food is delicious! The only downside in my opinion is taking orders with a terminal, which takes away some of the charm of the restaurant.

Self service, more of a bistro than a restaurant. We were unlucky: we couldn't sit outside during a thunderstorm, so it was very tight inside. But the food was still excellent! Clear recommendation if you're not looking for a cozy restaurant atmosphere.

I was expecting great tacos , super delicious but unfortunately I am very disappointed . To expensive to small and taste nothing like tacos… I don’t have a photo but the plates was messy and dirty too. I will never go here again I love mexican food but this “restorant’ is a no for me.

A small YEPA YEPA is a charming self-service taco restaurant. Ordering is done via QR codes, which can take some getting used to. The menu is small but nice. I tried both meat tacos and was pleasantly surprised. The Al Pastor is particularly highly recommended – really delicious! The amount of salsa was just right for me, although the pulled pork taco was a bit drowned in it. Despite this small flaw, the price-performance ratio is completely fine. For 4 euros you get a solid taco. The self-service concept is the only negative point for me, probably introduced for cost reasons, but if you can look past that, you can expect a really good taco. Overall I would give the food a 7 out of 10 and the overall concept a 4 out of 5. It's definitely worth a visit, especially for the Al Pastor Tacos. A little more cheese would have been nice, even though I'm not usually a big cheese fan, but the amount was very small. Give it a try!

For 2 people, over €50 to get halfway full in a restaurant with ordering terminals and an atmosphere that doesn't invite you to linger is a lot of money. Despite the good taste and quality of the ingredients, the price-performance ratio is not quite right here. Nevertheless, a clear recommendation for anyone who likes Mexican food.

Very very tasty Tacos with fresh ingredients used. We had a wide sample of the different Tacos and each one was an absolute banger. The Carnitas especially with crunchy bits is a must have, and the fish tacos, and the al pastor, actually all of them!

Best Mexican food I have had in Germany so far. Plenty of vegetarian options. Loved the mushroom tacos and the salsas. Also, the service is very quick and efficient and one can really customise their food. Would highly recommend!

Food very good, but really expensive! The two of us shared a plate with 5 tacos and paid 30€ with 2 sodas. I thought it was really tasty, my friend thought it was ok. Afterwards we were both still hungry and a little disappointed about the price-performance ratio.

Thanks to the new touch ordering machine, you no longer have to talk to the nice staff. That costs feeling. The taste explosion is still guaranteed. Quality fresh and exotic cost a little. Nevertheless, Perfectbund would be happy again

You can't say anything other than VERY VERY TASTY!!! A small restaurant in downtown Freiburg where you can sit inside or outside. The ingredients are fresh and you can put together your taco the way you like it. We'll definitely be back.

However, one downside is the seating situation during winter. The indoor seating area is quite limited, and on busy nights, it can be a challenge to find a spot. It would be great if they could expand their indoor seating or find a way to make more space available for patrons during the colder months. On the brighter side, the seating issue is not a problem in the summer. Yepayepa has a fantastic outdoor seating area that is perfect for enjoying the warm weather with friends and family. The atmosphere is lively, and it's a pleasure to sit outside with a cold drink and a plate of their delicious tacos. Despite the winter seating limitations, the quality of the food and the friendly service keep me coming back. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, which adds to the overall positive experience. If you're planning to visit during winter, I recommend going at non-peak hours to ensure you get a seat. In conclusion, Yepayepa is a fantastic spot for taco lovers. While the seating could be improved during the winter, the excellent food and great summer setup more than make up for it. This place is a wonderful surprise after living in Germany for almost 9 years. If you're in Freiburg im Brisgau I absolutely recommend! We got the fish tacos, tacos al pastor & taco carnitas. The homemade hibiscus drink is delicious.

The prawn taco was amazing, as were the carnitas and Birria. I don’t doubt these are the best tacos in Freiburg. Nice ordering system on the machine- however the fish tacos were “unavailable” when I ordered on the machine and then 10 minutes later someone else received fish tacos and I went back on the machine and they were available! But I had already eaten so I was a bit disappointed. There is very limited seating so be warned you may have to stand outside. Also the prices are a bit high around €4-5 per taco. I would definitely go back, but for a special treat.

Just really, really tasty. Especially the one with the fried mushrooms. It's quick and you can order from the machine. Everything is fresh and prepared on site. Extra requests are also possible, for example no onions. Unfortunately there is hardly any vegetarian food. Price-performance is fair.

Well, we went there with high expectations, but we were disappointed. As other reviews show, the store is relatively small, the seating is a bit uncomfortable and orders are placed via a terminal. As for the food, we tried a total of 7 different tacos (each for just under €4 per taco). Unfortunately, none of them could convince us. You need at least 4 tacos per person, and people who are generally hungry need significantly more. Worth an experience for us, but not recommended due to the price-performance ratio.
