The food is super delicious and freshly prepared. The team works really quickly, so you never have to wait long for your food. The ordering process via the terminals takes some getting used to the first time, but after that, it's fine. I find the prices a bit high (€4.80 per taco), but the quality speaks for itself.

Food is great and of good quality. The tacos are on the pricey side though at around 4.50 each. No toilet or bathroom but hand sanitiser at the table.

Small delicious Mexican tacos 🌮

My absolute favorite restaurant in Freiburg! The tacos are very flavorful with fresh ingredients. The Mexican lemonades are also delicious; my favorite is the lime flavor. The highlight for me is always the corn on the cob. So if you're in Freiburg, you absolutely have to pay Yepa Yepa a visit☺️

I've been trying to order something for days, but unfortunately, it doesn't work. They say it's closed. I also tried calling them, but it goes straight to voicemail. It's a shame for this store.

Delicious in itself, but I'd like to see a restaurant in Freiburg that serves simpler Mexican fast food. The prices for three small tacos are borderline ridiculous, considering that kebab shops also make their own dough, and the corn dough doesn't even need to rise. Street food in Mexico is also simple; it doesn't always have to have expensive fillings. Why isn't there a "Mexican" kebab?

It's a good place to grab a quick bite to eat. Plus, it's easy to order from the digital screens. The service is very polite and they speak several languages, including Spanish. Everything was very good.

Very nice place. You can order from a vending machine and then take your food with you or eat in. Unfortunately, the selection isn't very large, and there aren't many places to sit inside. The food was very, very tasty, though (better than at Enchilda), and I've been there several times. Highly recommended.

YepaYepa has the best mexican food I've had so far and that for a very reasonable price. The food is easy to order and the personnel is very friendly. The only downside is the location, it deserves a spot in the flourishing city center, I think it would do very well.

I went to visit my sister and we took the opportunity to eat here, as I was really looking forward to trying it. We thought it was very expensive for what we got: 4 tacos and 1 small sparkling water with no service, since you had to order it from a vending machine and pick it up, and when you finished, you had to carry the tray. (€25). I don't recommend it.

We ordered tacos to go today and were completely satisfied. The tacos tasted great, and if you have any food intolerances, you can customize the ingredients when ordering at the vending machine. The service was very courteous and friendly. I wasn't much of a taco fan before, but this place is really great!

Ordering is quick and easy via a self-service kiosk with clear explanations of every dish. Payment is contactless and smooth. Just a few minutes later, the beeper goes off: food’s ready! From the very first bite, we were hooked: authentic Mexican cuisine, homemade from scratch. The flavors are vibrant, fresh, and bursting with character - like a beautiful symphony of taste. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back!

Tacos were good and the staff were clearly working hard…but it took 45 minutes plus for our food with no communication. Process was clearly completely broken for what is ostensibly fast food. They need to stop taking orders at a pace where the kitchen clearly can’t keep up, not fair on the customer or the staff

Overhyped store nothing special

The menu is incorrect, and ordering has become extremely inflexible due to the payment machines, where you can't customize anything, taking longer overall at the expense of the customers. It used to be quite good and pleasant. It was still good, so-so. Not pleasant at all anymore.

The food was delicious, and I can only recommend it to everyone. For anyone who doesn't like human contact, this place is perfect. There's a screen where you can place your order.

We arrived around 6:00 p.m. and managed to get a seat outside. We ordered online using a QR code. Unfortunately, the order was lost in the system and it took a while, but the owner apologized and we even offered a free ice cream. The tacos were delicious. The price was good, too. For €20, we had a set meal with four tacos, a side dish, and a drink. We'll definitely be back.

I've been there a few times and love the tacos there. The atmosphere is always very nice, and whether eaten in or at home, the tacos are always delicious. I also really like the menu options.

The best and most authentic tacos! Friendly staff, made with love. What's a shame, though, are the ordering computers. This creates long lines because you have to read what's on the computer first. And secondly, there's no customer service, which is a shame. The rest is great, delicious 🤯🤯. The atmosphere is nice.

I had takeaway from Yepa Yepa today. After reading so many positive reviews, I was looking forward to the meal. The friendly staff and the short wait were positive. Unfortunately, the food wasn't impressive; the chicken was dry and the tacos were very soggy (I can't say it was due to fat or oil). The food in general was very unseasoned. The value for money for three small tacos wasn't fair either (overpriced in my opinion). If you want dinner, you should get at least 5 tacos (around €4.50 each, about the size of an adult's palm when opened up).

The recommendation of 3 tacos per person is unfortunately very little. We were both still hungry afterward. 🫣 The price per taco for that portion size is really quite high. Unfortunately, the chicken was also quite dry. 😑

I'm Mexican, which means I can give an honest review of this restaurant. The tables and chairs aren't very comfortable, and unfortunately, there are no waiters. But I have to write about the important things: the food! The ingredients are authentic. My wife and I only ordered tacos that were truly traditional. The best, in our opinion, were the birria and the carnitas—simply delicious. My favorite taco in Mexico is the taco al pastor. At YepaYepa, it's delicious, but the carnitas were even tastier. Unfortunately, I didn't interact with the people who work at the restaurant. I will definitely go back.

A real recommendation for all taco fans! We had a selection of six different tacos, each one freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious. We also had nachos with guacamole and a grilled corn on the cob, both also very tasty. You order via a screen, so you can see exactly what you're getting; it's very clear and modern. The shop itself is rather small, but there's plenty of outdoor seating. The Mexican soft drinks were also a highlight, something a little different from the usual. Great food, friendly concept, and relaxed atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

The coffee was overly sweet, and the food was cold and lacked flavor—no salt or pepper. I had high hopes after reading many positive reviews, but was sadly disappointed. The outdoor seating was nice, and the staff were friendly, but once was enough for me.

Very tasty tapas and desserts. It was relatively busy, but the food didn't take long to arrive. We ordered via terminal. I recommended the package consisting of drinks, sides, and tacos. We had the package with 2 drinks, 6 tacos, and 2 sides. Ideal for 2 people. The two desserts were already prepared but also incredibly delicious. There's also the option of sitting outside. The restaurant is located on a side street away from the hustle and bustle.

I've been to Yepa Yepa a few times now - and yes, the tacos are really delicious! You can tell that fresh ingredients are used here, and the taste is different than what you usually get at “Tex-Mex”. I particularly found the versions with beef and the vegan tacos to be really well seasoned and creatively made. The employees are super friendly, relaxed and totally relaxed even when there is a lot of activity. You feel welcome, even when it's crowded. The furnishings are modern and a bit hip - but they fit in well with the overall picture and it's actually quite comfortable to sit in. But what you have to say is that it's not cheap. The portions are rather small, and if you want to be full, you have to take two or three tacos - the price then quickly gets to the point where you ask yourself whether it's worth it. Quality has its price, but a little more for the price would be nice. Overall, it's a cool shop if you're in the mood for something different. Not a classic Mexican, more of a modern taco spot with a street food vibe. I'll definitely come back - not every week, but definitely recommended for every now and then.

I knew this place for years and for me it was a mandatory stop every time I went to Freiburg, it's a shame that they have changed so much, we arrived and the place has increased many seats, which makes it impossible to eat because of the discomfort, their ordering machines are gigantic, very difficult to use and takes away all the essence of a Mexican taqueria. The service is attentive and gives the vibe that they want to serve you so that you leave quickly. Everything would have been fine, if the tacos were delicious, but big disappointment, they put the sauces on you, for me the sauce is a personal touch that everyone knows the amount they like, this makes the taco arrive cold and the tortilla watery. All the stews seem to taste the same and I ended up eating pieces of watery tortilla. If you are Mexican and know what taquerias are like, better not go. You will only leave sad and hungry.

Anyone who likes good, handmade food will love it here. Anyone who likes real Mexican food without TexMex also likes it. From the cucumber lemonade to authentic rice drinks to Central American guava lemonade to the dessert, everything is the way you could get it served in México City. Great service for ordering everything individually, even for people who don't like coriander it's easy to order everything because everything is always freshly prepared. Ceviche, tacos, etc... No wish is left unfulfilled!

This is a nice place and a family business. I travel from Basel 1h few times a year just to eat here. Quality is fantastic and prices are very fair to eat in Germany.

Very tasty and authentic Mexican food. It's always quick and everything was delicious. Only a few seats, but you don't eat for too long. I think the ordering machines are good, but when we were there some people, especially older people, found it a bit overwhelming.

The machine where you have to order also booked water without me telling you. I had to pay this too. A friend also simply added drinks to the machine. In addition, the food and drinks were extremely expensive.

When all the other snack bars in Freiburg depress me, I go to YepaYepa. I work in the city center and have to ask myself the question every day, where do I go for lunch? Market hall is okay, burgers, pizza and co. You can get it in many places, but it's never really tasty, it's more like a portion of calories to get me through the day. But not at YepaYepa! The tacos are always so delicious, I literally inhale them. Birria and Pescado are my favorites. Even if the location is a detour for me, I regularly allow myself the effort. When I take friends or colleagues with me, however, they always complain about the price, for me personally the ratio is right, it just can't be compared with the 6 euro Asia box. I wish you had another location downtown, I would be a regular customer. I've also only been ordering via terminal for a while now, which I personally think is great, it's also an alternative to the cash-only fanatics, absolutely fine. Either way, the best tacos in town.

The tacos are delicious, full of flavor! This is a MUST go place if you are in the city. The shrimp taco is my favorite! They say it is open until 10pm but I walked in at 9:30 and the kitchen was closed. So not sure about the opening hours.
