We always enjoy eating at Enchilada! The service is very friendly and fast, the food is delicious, and everything seems clean. We find the drink prices a bit high, as half of them are made of ice cubes. The food prices are okay ;) The food is more Tex-Mex than Mexican.

I was there for the first time and ordered Sex on the Beach. It tasted like a cheap holiday cocktail to me, but when I asked the waitress, it turned out that the cocktail was made from a machine. I absolutely don't think it's okay that this isn't mentioned anywhere on the menu. For a €9 cocktail, you'd expect more... It's a shame I spent that money on it.

We went out to eat today at 4:00 p.m. and were served by a very friendly waitress (blonde with a great charisma). The food was delicious. Beautifully presented and prepared with love. Great service is a rarity these days. I find that to be a problem almost everywhere. But today, just like on our last visit, the service was simply super friendly and attentive.

When we go on holiday to Freiburg, enchilada is a must.

The food was better than expected, and the service is reflected on the bill. Anna did a great job. I accidentally left a tip of about €20 on a bill totaling just under €75. She then returned €10. Thank you.

Saving the chickens but killing the turtles (plastic straws)... such is the paradox of this restaurant today. It's a real shame they removed the meat options and replaced them with vegan/vegetarian options... Otherwise, this is our fourth time here, and we're still fans! Very good service and excellent food.

I went there for the first time yesterday. It was okay, but for 30 euros, well, 🫤 a bit pricey. The cocktail and atmosphere were good, but I don't know. I felt like something was missing... For example, you have to choose between the expensive sides. It would be better to try at least two or three small ones... I'm more of a buffet type, but I think the place is very suitable for a Mexican evening.

La terrasse est plutôt sympathique, la carte alléchante mais une fois qu’on a une mini assiette devant soi c’est autre chose. Nous avons gouté les enchiladas au poulet et au bœuf épicé. Les galettes sont desséchées sur le pourtour et tout mous et imbibés au centre. La composition de la garniture est indéfinissable et sans intérêt. La pain à l’ail est gras, les frites gratinées sont molles. Bref, une expérience sans intérêt et une qualité moins que basique.

I like Mexican food and I actually found the dishes and the homemade lemonade delicious; BUT waiting an hour after ordering is really bad.

Unfortunately, the food took an extremely long time to arrive, and the burrito was a disappointment. I'm not sure if it even contained chicken. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio was not right at all.

I was absolutely thrilled – the fajita was simply fantastic: fresh, perfectly seasoned, and lovingly served. The service was outstanding, very attentive and warm, making you feel immediately welcome. I was also particularly impressed by the wide selection of drinks – there's truly something for everyone here. An all-around successful visit that I can recommend to everyone!

Burgers were amazing! Very tasty and generous. Also, the fries really good, thin and well prepared. I've never tried french fries with guacamole, and it's the best. And the crunchy coliflower, damn, it's amazing. I recommend!

We arrived there on Monday evening around ten o'clock after a long drive from Italy. Even though the kitchen closed at 22:00, we were still allowed to order food quickly. Great! The food was delicious. The service was great. By the way, on Monday evening you can throw a dice. The number of pips determines what you have to pay for a cocktail. I threw 2! 😁 It was busy and there was a nice atmosphere.

Friendly service, excellent food – very good value for money. We had a burrito and quesadillas, which were very tasty. They came with a small side salad, which was absolutely sufficient. They also had homemade lemonade. Everything is highly recommended.

This place has a lot of great Mexican food options. We tried only the vegetarian dishes, and honestly, everything we ordered was really tasty and full of flavor. The menu has plenty of variety, so it was easy to find things we wanted to try. We also had a couple of cocktails and some beer—both were really good and went well with the food. We asked if they could make it a bit spicier, and they brought us a traditional Mexican spicy sauce, which added just the right amount of heat without killing the flavor. Overall, we had a really good time—the food was delicious, drinks were on point, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely worth checking out if you’re craving Mexican food!

Service and waiting times vary depending on the day and the number of guests. Unfortunately, many of the cocktails aren't particularly good. The food is okay to good, though sometimes there are a few over-the-counter sauces on the dishes.

The food is truly awful, dry, and flavorless; it only has the name in common with Mexican food. I'm pretty sure most of the food here is frozen and then heated up quickly. The drinks were okay, but again, the horchata is very far from the original; it was just coconut milk with cinnamon and sugar. So, I would advise everyone not to eat here!

None of us really enjoyed the food. It was a bit soggy. We love regular Mexican food and have vacationed in Mexico before. But we didn't find the food here that great. The location and the cocktails, however, are great.

Very good vegan burrito roll, and the vegan piña colada is also delicious! We were there early Saturday evening; it was still quite empty and the service was super fast and friendly.

It's unbelievable what prices are being charged there now. That's too much for system catering. When I was young, which was only a few years ago, the jumbo at happy hour cost 5 euros. The same drink now costs 8.90 euros during happy hour.

Bland food which isn’t mexican at all and was a disappointment. My burrito had just yogurt sauce which made it taste so dull !! The bottom layer of burrito was so hard (because it had two layers of tortilla due to a fold and heating up) that i had to use good strength to break it. Ambience and employees is great but the food is NOT fair for the price at all.

The service was polite and the food was good too. The portions are quite small and we had to wait a long time for the food. Unfortunately the list of allergens very(!) confusing and looks more like a tax notice or medical leaflet, even in the font size. The waitress couldn't help me.

Visiting with 2 adults and three children. We were assigned a table, dark in a corner, next to the cash register and a wall. And that despite reservations. We had to wait over 20 minutes for the drinks (cola, iced tea). The food came almost an hour later. We ordered the TAQUERIA (pollo and carne), which unfortunately was very tasteless. What we later noticed was that the Gouda and Cheddar were missing, which would have improved the taste. The only plus point was the very nice service. Conclusion: no recommendation

Really delicious Mexican. I had the fajitas steak and the meat was cooked perfectly. My wife had enchiladas and she couldn't fault them either. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely visit this restaurant again.

Very friendly service, fast, and the food is good (I have no comparison to other Mexican restaurants). The atmosphere was okay; we went at lunchtime, so it was empty and quiet. However, I found the prices quite steep—€72 for three people plus tip, and apart from the child, no one was really full.

Unfortunately the waiter was unfriendly ⭐☆☆☆☆ Unfortunately a very disappointing experience at Enchilada Freiburg. We were there around 5:15pm to take advantage of the NeoTaste offer (2 for 1). Happy hour was also running at the same time. When ordering, we kindly pointed out to the waiter (young, blonde, wearing a Tommy Hilfiger top, probably a student) that we would like to take advantage of the NeoTaste offer and politely asked whether a combination with happy hour was possible. This was immediately denied without any explanation. When we politely asked on what basis this was ruled out, we were simply told: “That’s just the way it is.” We pointed out that the NeoTaste terms and conditions didn't mention a happy hour exclusion - then they changed the reasoning and told us it would say so on the enchilada menu itself. We checked that too and found no relevant information. From this point on, the waiter's attitude changed noticeably. He became annoyed, refused to discuss further and reacted increasingly unfriendly, including a sheepish smile. We just wanted a comprehensible explanation and instead we were treated condescendingly. The store was almost empty, so it couldn't have been due to stress. Ultimately we decided not to order anything and left. It's a shame because we've always enjoyed coming to Enchilada. As a former catering employee, I know that dealing with guests in a friendly and professional manner is crucial - even if there is a rule, you could have simply explained it politely or at least communicated it in a slightly more customer-oriented manner. Unfortunately, it was an absolutely disappointing experience that we will remember negatively for a long time. Too bad Addendum/Update: The managing director exchanged ideas with us and was very understanding and tried to find a solution. We then visited the Enchilada again and apart from the fact that our reservation with the desired seat was not taken into account (we wanted the table by the Mexico Neon lamp), everything was fine and satisfactory. We had reserved for 8 a.m. and the place was still free until we paid, which is why there is a 1 star deduction otherwise 5 stars. Thank you for being so accommodating and that we were taken seriously. We will be happy to come back, thanks to Philipp, great reaction, only the team needs to be trained a little better but I can clearly see the improvement.

I liked the cocktails and the chilli cheese fries. The service was nice, but we stood at the emo booth for a long time until someone brought us to our reserved table. I think the tacos and burritos could be improved. I find them really boring in terms of taste or filled with too many vegetables. So you get full very quickly but you can hardly taste the meat or seasoning. In terms of price, I also think it's a bit expensive, especially considering that the food wasn't bomb.

Tasty and very full. Be sure to reserve! You can tell it's a chain. Unfortunately, there are screens with advertising everywhere. You can see what's on the food and drink menu, but the pictures are extremely distracting.

📍Very irritating what happened today: I have never experienced such disrespectful and presumptuous behavior from a waiter in my entire life. 02/3/25 at 5:15 p.m.: The young employee (light brown hair, Tommy Hilfiger shirt) at Enchilada Freiburg treated us in an extremely condescending manner after we politely asked whether the NeoTaste offer could be combined with happy hour. Instead of a professional and customer-oriented answer, we were greeted with sheepish smiles and snide comments. This kind of treatment of guests is absolutely unacceptable and has left me with a profoundly negative impression! We then left without ordering and will definitely not be returning. It's a shame for the enchilada, because everything has always been wonderful until today.

Unfortunately, this time the visit to the enchilada in Freiburg was very disappointing. Two out of three meals (Chicken Bowl and Enchiladas Vegetarianas) were not at all convincing. We returned most of it and the fact that the very friendly waitress didn't ask if it tasted good speaks volumes for me. I don't think we will come back again.

Never had such a delicious meal at a Mexican restaurant! The food, the staff and the restaurant are simply wonderful.🤩 Our enchiladas were so delicious, we almost ate two even though we were full. The dessert (churros) was so delicious, every bite was warm & fresh. The non-alcoholic cocktails are also simply delicious. All in all it was great and we will come back here on our next vacation!✨

Hands down to one of the best burrito, I had in recent times!! Absolutely loved the stuffing inside, tried buritto Chimichura. What a combination of stuffing inside with quinoa, black beans, and crown on top is the frittere mais!! Would love to go to this spot again❤️

The restaurant really impressed us with its stylish decor and great atmosphere. The menu is varied and fits the popular style perfectly - the starter plate in the first picture is particularly recommended and gives an exciting insight into the different flavors. The 1.5 liter cocktails are also a humorous gimmick and put you in a good mood. The main course, as you can see in the second and third pictures, was excellently seasoned and tasted really great! The “Enchiladas Pollo” in particular was spicy but pleasantly balanced – a highlight! However, the portion would have been a bit tight without the starter and a break for digestion. Unfortunately, there were some organizational weaknesses during our visit: Despite a reservation, we had to wait a long time, and the first waiter seemed a bit inattentive, while the second was very friendly and attentive. It was also a bit too warm in the restaurant, which affected the stay a little. Conclusion: If you want to enjoy a nice ambience and excellent food, you will definitely find what you are looking for here. It's worth it, even if the portions are on the smaller side for the price.
