A Gem of a Restaurant! This restaurant is truly outstanding! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that’s both relaxing and uplifting. Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. I asked for tap water in this restaurant, as drinking water can usually be consumed safely anywhere in Germany. I also ordered food here. However, the service lady said the water wasn't clean. If clean water is not available in a bar at Munich Airport, then in my opinion that bar should not operate there either. Such behavior not only seems less than customer-friendly, but also raises questions about professionalism. It's a shame, because the rest of the offer was fine, but this statement greatly spoiled the overall impression.

7 euro for half a soggy wrap. It isn’t even edible. Don’t waste your money.

I was attracted by the pink color of the brand and by the beautiful coffee maker and then I was greeted with consideration by Laura. Laura recommended the good coffee which brought me sweetness. I have just tried to buy food at the store. I have celiac disease so I had to check which salads were gluten free. I was „served” by an older lady whose name I am not sure of (worked on 5th December around 10:35). She either couldn’t or didn’t want to speak English, which is surprising at an international airport in a city like Munich. I asked her if there were gluten free salads available, since I didn’t see any at the showcase. She showed me with her hand to check myself without attempting to help in any way. There was only one other person besides me, so clearly there was no rush and she just didn’t care to be of help. I told her why I was asking the question and repeated it, to which she sighed loudly, rolled her eyes, not even trying to hide her irritation. She then handed me a random salad and said „English”, instructing me to read it. I’m not sure how such people get a customer-facing job, but she clearly shouldn’t have, as she couldn’t care less and seemed angry to be bothered.

Rather mixed customer experience On the one hand, the vegan falafel wrap is not well filled at all, just 1 or 2 falafels in it and only iceberg salad on a good half of the wrap… On the other hand, the chocolate muffin is delicious! Prices a little high but classic for an airport

Caesar wrap should be renamed paper wrap. Overall, it is of poor quality. Wrap, mostly lettuce, paper tastes like paper. All that for 7.5 euro.

Horrible…bought an expensive Cesar Salad sandwich. Zero taste, paper already melted into one unit with the wrap. If I hadn't been in a hurry because of a connecting flight, I would have stuck it on the counter for them... gross

Unfortunately, I was treated very unkindly early in the morning. A lady who appears to be in a managerial position first reprimanded me and later another customer in a very sharp tone. I ordered a café latte, which is usually made with espresso. When the cashier put “latte” in the register instead, I politely asked if it had espresso. Latte, as the name suggests, contains regular coffee and not espresso - that's a key difference that doesn't just affect the roasting. While I was clarifying this with the cashier, the other lady in charge came over and said, "We don't play games like that here." Her tone was extremely unfriendly and she continued her reprimand. In the end I insisted on getting espresso and ended up getting a latte macchiato. Finally, she pointed out to me: “We’re just a simple salad bar.” @Dean&David: Would you actually describe yourself as “just a simple salad bar”? What feeling do you want to convey to your customers?

Deplorable reception from a tall blonde woman at the checkout...she has to change jobs. Not a smile and frankly, fuck him!? To flee!!!!

7,50€ for a lettuce wrap. The chicken was just for show, with a few pieces of egg. I get that this is airport food, but it doesn't have to be a scam.

Very unpleasant service. She did not speak English and was aggressively annoyed at my for not speaking German. Worst airport experience so far and I travel a lot.

We had falafel salad wrap at their terminal in Munich airport terminal k. Food was ok, but they didn't have ketchup available.

We ordered a Good Greens salad and a falafel wrap and we didn't like it at all. Not tasty, the ingredients weren't fresh and the salad had a funny smell. Thanks dean&david for NOTHING. 40€ straight into the trash can.

5 euros for a small muffin that isn't even good is really just a rip off

If you want to be insulted to your face this is the place to be. Yesterday on the night shift, in the store located near the Gates K, I bought something to eat and the service forgot to give me the ticket. It wasn't 2 minutes later when I noticed and went back to get it. They were serving other customers and I waited for them to finish. The employee was very rude and impolite to me, he complained in German and called me stupid to my face, he got mad at me and talked to me like I was stupid literally telling me that I was the cause of the problem, that I had to be smarter next time, he was furious about something he forgot to give me, he didn't listen to me and just got upset and blamed me for the situation. I had never been treated so badly in my life and I felt totally humiliated in front of the rest of the customers. Honestly the service is the worst I have ever seen.

I bought a chicken and a Paris wrap here yesterday for €15. Unfortunately, I'm still annoyed today. The wraps seem to be on display there all day. The dough was so soggy and mushy that I had to throw the wrap away halfway through. It was simply inedible. Unfortunately, the color of the salad was no longer attractive either. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

7.50€ gets you half of a soggy brown lettuce wrap with a few small scraps of chicken they call a "Caesar Wrap". It has about the same about of paper as actual wrap and tastes like a lettuce wrap made yesterday. Not bad just far too expensive and falsely advertised.

Price performance is absolutely right, here we had a very filling warm chicken curry for €15, compared to €5 for something taken to the airport, top 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼😄

Cappuccino was a bit pricey for the size, but they have Hofbrauhaus beverages!

Dishes looked exactly like in the pictures. Nothing social but worm and tasty. The service was very kind and professional.

Dean&david catering also on board with Lufthansa. However unfortunately on board they are always out of salads.

The wraps are just terrible. Everything about it doesn't taste good: the bread, the pulled cheese (also way too much), the falafel (mush), the salad (way too much). But you get there quickly, there are also snacks and the staff was nice.

A lot of vegan options. Some staff is grumpy. Food is delicious.

They have vegan/vegetarian options - two different sandwiches and a wrap. They also have stuff in cups like chia pudding or something like that that is vegan and they have oat milk. Staff speaks English CC accepted

I don’t know, I’ve just never had a bad vegan sandwich in Germany. 10/10 would recommend their vegan sweet potato sandwich (€7). It hits the spot on a layover when airlines can’t deliver on vegan options. They also have a vegan chocolate muffin, bowls, and oat milk!

Extemely disappointed. I asked for a gluten free meal and the woman who prepares the dish didn't pay attention to gluten contamination. She also touched fish without washing her hands previously. The person who serves at the checkout has been very unfriendly and unwilling to help.

Falafel wrap was very soggy, I could not eat all of it. It was 7 euros.

The employee rolls her eyes when ordering and is completely annoyed. And that already at 7 a.m. in the morning. As a customer you are just annoying. No napkin is provided. The vegetarian wrap was completely “soaked” and the latte macchiato we ordered turned out to be a cappuccino. No thanks!

Cozy music, pleasant personal and very nice and healthy salads. One of the rare places where gluten free people can find something for themselves, that beside normal milk they have oat milk too and also plenty of vegetarian options. All in all I would always recommend this place! 🙌🙌🙌

Chicken Teriyaki Bowl was my favorite. They make it fresh at the salatbar. On top of that the carrot cake was so delicious. Ok it was not so big but the taste was unforgetable. Many respect for the workers at the counter, who are dealing with so many stress from some crazy customers.

Just had the California Poke Bowl with coconut rice pudding for dessert and I have to say it was so fresh and delicious. Great service, I would love to come back

I got severe food poisoning from the salmon bowl I had here on 07.07.2024 to the point where I had to be hospitalized. My partner already reached out to them but they take no responsibility. That was the only food I had the entire day so there is no doubt this salmon dish was the cause, also my symptoms started within 2-3 hours of having the meal. Now, It’s been more than 72 hours since, and I’m only just starting to regain health. I had to be absent from work due to this also. On a whole other note, upon paying at this “restaurant” the cashier asks you to select a tip. Really? I’m ordering at the cashier, take my own food from the counter when it’s ready and also take the tray back after finishing. This is perfectly fine of course, but on what grounds are they asking for tip? Tipping for operating the cash machine? Deserves 0 stars

Unfortunately, service was very unfriendly and stressful. Sandwich was okay - I wouldn't come again for the price.

Twice was given spoiled food, no reimbursement offered.

I got a chicken pesto sandwich and asked to get it hot. They were busy and the chicken fell out onto the hinge of the oven and underneath the oven. She scooped up the chicken and and put it back into the sandwich and told me it was fine and they cleaned the hinge if the oven and underneath the oven every day. They refused to make me a new one. I am glad I didn't tip. If I get sick and have my holiday ruined I'll be pissed. This is literally a food safety issue. I did not have time to argue as there was a large line and I was in a rush. Please retrain the bigger woman in the hijab and have her understand basic food hygiene. What she did was absolutely disgusting. I will never go to any dean and david establishment again.

Nice and fresh for airport food, but the portions are huge. If you get a salad, I recommend sharing. The woman behind the counter was very grumpy and rude. There are so many other choices, I don’t recommend this place.

I took coffee & I found 2 vegan sandwitches.

The staff is rude. They offered to prepare my bowl two hours later. So then I had to choose something else and they asked me to go all the way to the back of the queue.

Dean and David Munich airport. Wrap quite good and plentiful Poor reception. Service under pressing stress. Unsmiling staff, just friendly. Dirty unprepared tables. So not very favorable and high prices for the service.

If I could give zero stars for the service I would be tempted to. The lady (bigger sized) was extremely rude, almost gave me dairy coffee (thank goodness the other lady checked and corrected her) and even said I ordered teriyaki when I said 2 times curry.

Awful service, asked for a bowl to eat on site and the lady gave me a pre-prepared take away one and a dish, and told me « you can eat it there !». I’ve just leave the place to never come back.

The Caesar wrap had exactly two small pieces of chicken and was already moist from the tomato on one side, so the paper stuck to the bread. The tomato mentioned was therefore completely mushy. The rest of the wrap was basically just lettuce, no sauce, and no flavor. Unfortunately I only saw this when I was already at the gate, otherwise I would have returned something like that. The wrap was freshly cut when I was standing in line, but seems to have been stored somewhere for a very long time.

Dirty, expensive and unfriendly Hygiene is critical for the eye, at least on the evening of the visit

Unfortunately the small falafel wrap for €6.90 was not edible. Although it was good for another day, the filling was very soggy and the lettuce was brown. Thrown away after one bite! Unfortunately not the first time! The staff was, as always, very friendly.

Fast and healthy food at the airport. No difference to the other D&D restaurants. Good quality and fast service.

Just a few options of food. The stove wasn't working, so we had to eat it sandwiches cold. The personnel didn't strive either. Definitely I will not return here.

Bad service. Falafel wrap was not warmed up, napkin was not added. It seems as if everything should happen as quickly as possible. They also didn't ask me if I needed the receipt. I understand that there is a lot going on, but the service shouldn't suffer so catastrophically as a result. I cannot recommend this branch. My tip: go somewhere else

it was my first time to visit Dean and David and i was so happy to find something that is healthy at the airport. I ordered the Pfirsisch Vanille Eistee, Mango Kokosmilchreis for desert and the california Poke Bowl. Service was nice, i had a pleasant time there and i will come again

Very unfriendly and impolite service

Ordered an americano, but the sales person pushes the caffe crema button on the machine. I try to explain that it’s not the same thing, since the crema beans are not roasted in the same way and I want an americano: a double espresso with hot water. “Why did you order an caffe crema if you want an espresso?” Since I had already paid I gave up and took the cup, not having any more airport fights in me today. It was as weak and bad as I thought.

Dean & David is a great choice for healthy food. I’ve not eaten at this one but in many locations all over Munich. Love the take-away fridge with healthy bowls (15€) The atmosphere with the seating space, music and lighting looks very cosy and inviting. I read about the complaints re. the high prices - we are at the airport! That’s to be expected. If it’s too expensive, grab your bowl at the train station on the way to the airport.

A SHAME. Really deplorable service. Absolutely unfriendly waitress, not a smile, not an effort, doesn't repeat when we tell her to speak slower in... English or German? We have the frank impression that he is too much and that his work bothers him greatly. The machiatto was not even worthy of the flavors of a machiatto and VERY EXPENSIVE!!. They don't serve hot chocolate (can't wait to return to France).

Super lecker. Beispiel: Salat mit Norwegischen Lachs, Mango, Avocado, Granatapfel, u.s.w. Riesengroß für 15€ besser und gerechtfertigter als ein schlecht belegtes Gummi-Weizen Flughafenbrötchen für 5.80€

Personal unfreundlich und überfordert. 1 nette Dame bietet an, den Salat immerhin €16,- frisch zu machen, nur setzt sich dies trotz 3 facher Bitte an der Theke nicht durch. Somit ein lappriger Salat, teils braun und ein Wrap welcher sich nicht mehr aus dem lapprigen Papier entfernen lässt. Nein danke, braucht man nicht!

We had 5 hrs layover at the airport. Hoping to get something gluten free as we read some Google reviews that this place offer some gluten free meal (the menu on their website also has allergen list in it). Quite disappointed when we got there and the lady at the counter said they don't have any gluten free food :(

Die Wraps, Flat Breads etc sind für den Preis einfach zu klein. 4 mal abgebissen und man ist fertig. Bisschen mehr wäre wünschenswert. Geschmacklich aber okay

Nice fresh food but some crazy prices. €4,60 for a cup of hot water and a tea bag beside; €0,60 to put oat milk in it. Also refused to refill a water bottle because "the water in the airport is not safe to drink". 😆

Leider schmeckt das Rote Thai Curry (vegan) nach nichts bzw. leicht säuerlich… da vergeht einem der Appetit. Der Reis ist fad, das Curry schmeckt ekelig. Nicht zu empfehlen. Die Servicekräfte sind gestresst und Kommunizieren kaum mit einem.

One of my fav healthy options at airports

Freundliches Personal. Das Avocado-Chicken Sandwich schmeckt sehr gut. Die Eigenen Getränke Berry Love und Refresh schmecken auch sehr gut. Es ist nirgends Zusatzstoffe drinnen und das schmeckt man auch raus. Die Preise sind zwar erhöht, aber man darf nicht vergessen dass man in Flughafen ist und dir Qualität stimmt.

I definitely can not recommend the Ceaser Wrap.. no taste at all. The salad was a little bit brown, I would mind if the taste would be good. Never had such an bad Wrap before.. I had a Mango rice pudding as well, which was okay.
