Disgusting food, aggressive and unfriendly staff We want to order two cheeseburgers, each to the tune of €16.90, and stand in front of the grill station surrounded by the smell of burnt cooking oil and the associated clouds of smoke. The chef, a strong person with a scowl on his face, barks at you (literally!) about what you want. And the next guest and the next guest. The burger arrives, you take a lukewarm peach tea from the fridge (€ 4.90) and pay, seething inside. The burger: a dry bun, a blob of ketchup, a hard patty made from inferior meat, wilted lettuce snippets, some of which are already gone, tomatoes that taste slightly spoiled, cucumbers from the discount store. Plus fries, which taste strongly of frying oil and are otherwise not worth mentioning. Money thrown out the window, annoyance as a bonus. The entire restaurant is not that clean.

Man bestellt sein essen. Muss dann zuerst zur Kasse gehen, dann erst bekommt man sein Bier gezapft! Essen war dann schon mal kaalt. Geschmacklich, naja. Nie wieder!!

We ordered a pizza and three burgers. We are a family of 6. Super misplaced attention from the burger cooks. Very rude in his attitude and way of speaking. We do not recommend it.

Could not locate the restaurant we wanted to eat in, so we reluctantly ended here and shared the milano salami pizza. Flavourless and overdone base with too salty, low quality toppings. All this for €16.90, very sad. The whole airport deserves a 1-star review for high food prices and average to poor food quality with no information desks or useful maps showing how to reach other dining areas.

Actually super surprised about the quality of an airport sandwich. Had the chicken schnitzel one and the schnitzel was huge and the sandwich itself was super tasty!

For an airport self-service restaurant, it's not too bad. There are several choices: pasta, pizzas, burgers and Asian... All in a calm atmosphere for an airport. The cooking is done on site. The fries are frozen as well as the meat but the Asian dishes are appetizing. On the other hand, the drinks are very expensive. Choose Asian and you won't be disappointed

Was heute am flughafen muenchen passiert ist, war eine katastrophe. Einem aelteren herr ist beim bezahlen die pizza auf dem boden geknallt und lag mit dem Scherben auf dem boden. Er selnst musate die aufheben und der kassierer ist ihm nicht mal entgegen gekommen sondern meinte don’t sorry und das war’s Er musste sie vom boden aufkratzen, bezahlen und saß später am Tisch und hat die gegessen.(wohlmöglich aus Zeitrgruenden oder der Herr hatte kein. Geld für ne neue. Unverantwortlich vom Mitarbeiter sowas, wissend die Scherben vom teller könnten in der Pizza drin sein. Menschlichkeit gibt es wohl in Deutschland nicht mehr. Dieser Mitarbeiter hat nur ein Wort verdient welches auf Sohn endet.

Delicious pizza, lots of ingredients, very filling. Only the burrata could be warm ;) Fast service, pleasant atmosphere.

I really liked the spicy beef rice bowl in the Asian corner. I was craving spicy food while traveling in Europe, and it was just the right spicy flavor.

Unmöglich! Man stellt sich an, ordert sein Essen, nimmt sich Getränke und wandert zur Kasse und bezahlt. Alles gut, außer man möchte, wie in Bayern üblich, ein Bier vom Fass. Das muss man erst an der Kasse ordern und bezahlen, damit es dann eingeschenkt wird. Man wird auch noch dumm angeredet und ignoriert, wenn man diese absurde Logik nicht versteht. Das Essen war nicht der Hit und die Preise flughafenüblich ziemlich überzogen. Für uns definitiv kein zweites Mal!

For what there is in the airports it is quite good. Also, when you are in Munich, don't expect Mediterranean food. But everything is good and they prepare it for you at the moment. We tried the pasta and pizza. All good. The dishes are close to 20 euros but they are large portions. Recommended

Me and a friend went to eat here. I had a cheeseburger and he had a double cheeseburger. There are always fries with it. The burger was barely salted and very dry. Hardly any sauce on it. The fries were the same, dry, very bland and no salt. The oil probably hasn't been changed in a long time, at least that's how it tastes. Pretty disappointing for the price of €16.90 It was a long wait, about 25 minutes. Until we could order. In general it's a huge mess, everyone is standing all over the place, there's no real queue.

06.07.2024: Rindfleisch scharf mit Gemüse und Reis. Eigentlich hätte ich die Bestellung schon abbrechen müssen, als ich die Zubereitung an der Theke verfolgt habe. Vermutlich wollte man das sehr dünn geschnittene Rindfleisch mit Gewalt garkochen und lies es mehr als 5 Minuten über der "elektrischen Induktions(?)Flamme". Die verschiedenen Gemüsesorten waren vom Garpunkt richtig getroffen, aber ich habe praktisch kein Aroma in der Soße geschmeckt, nur eine banale von zwei drei Pepperoni-Scheiben herkommende blasse Schärfe. Ich kenne in Berlin mindestens 10 Asia-Imbisse, die zu weniger als die Hälfte vom Preis ein 10 mal besser schmeckendes Gericht zustande bekommen. In der Kombination "Unverschämt Flughafen-teuer" mit "schmeckt nach fast Nichts" mit "Rindfleisch durchgekocht und zäh" reiht sich dieses Gourmet-Erlebnis in die Gesamtleistung des Flughafens MUC an diesem Tag ein: Ungenügend und am besten ganz vermeiden.

July 6, 2024: Spicy beef with vegetables and rice. Actually, I should have canceled the order when I watched the preparation at the counter. They probably wanted to cook the very thinly sliced ​​beef with force and left it over the "electric induction (?) flame" for more than 5 minutes. The various vegetables were cooked correctly, but I tasted practically no aroma in the sauce, just a banal, pale spiciness coming from two or three pepperoni slices. I know at least 10 Asian snack bars in Berlin that serve a dish that tastes 10 times better for less than half the price. In the combination of "outrageously expensive at the airport" with "tastes like almost nothing" with "beef well-cooked and tough" this gourmet experience fits in with the overall performance of the MUC airport that day: Insufficient and best avoided altogether.

Critics should ask themselves how much such a business costs in terms of maintenance. Rent, staff, purchasing of goods and much more. As you can see from my other reviews, I travel around a lot and give honest opinions.

Delicious food for a reasonable airport price. Lots of options like pizza, pasta, burger, grill, wok, sushi and more. We had the fried duck and egg noodles 18.5€ and the cheeseburger 17€. There was a lot of duck and plenty of noodles + veggies, I couldn't even finish it. The burger was also good size and a small side of fries. The food is cooked right in front of you. You need to grab a tray, cutlery, drinks, etc yourself and wait standing for the food to be prepared. Then take it all to the register to pay and find a place to sit. It was simple and easy. Only weird thing is that when paying there's automatic tipping options starting at 7% and above. Bit weird given that there's no service as it is a "do it yourself" situation. Seating is comfortable and plenty.

I received good customer service at the checkout, but it was different when I walked up to order a hamburger. When I ordered a hamburger, the employee barely looked me in the eye. He didn't say a single word. When I got the food on my plate, I ate the most tasteless steak of my life.

This is a system where you order at a food preparation station, bring the food to the counter, and pay. Due to a delayed flight, I received a voucher for a certain amount and placed an order. The cheeseburger is expensive but delicious. The meat is thick and there are a lot of vegetables. They even gave me fries, but there was so much of it that I couldn't eat it all. If you have a stopover in Munich or have a lot of time, I recommend having a meal.

4 Urbs in the departure area is a modern restaurant where you can get pizza, burgers, Bavarian delicacies, but also Asian bowls, all freshly prepared before your eyes. The staff is consistently nice and friendly. An ideal place for a little refreshment before departure.

We ordered from 4URBS after a long day and not much time until the next flight. The gentleman at the pizza was extremely unfriendly and didn't smile. The pizza was put into the oven listlessly and you really had the impression that you were a bother. Same with the lady with the pasta. They could laugh together in the back of the kitchen. The only friendly lady was at the checkout. It's a shame, the food was very tasty, but if you're served so unfriendly you'll think about it next time. Especially since we are not the first to complain about this in the review.

Better not - burger buns were cold and sticky, no extra ketchup, cold fries and a dollop of farmer's salad ☹️
