12.2025 fast, a lot, tasteless, expensive

A very mediocre reception. I got the impression that the lady at the checkout didn't get out of bed on the right side. After many hours of flying, you don't expect such rude and unpleasant service, especially when ordering a simple takeaway breakfast. Luckily, the young man took over and handled it very professionally, because she really shouldn't be working at reception.

Great food - really lovely staff. I was surprised at how good the coffee is - I live in central London so high standards.

Absolutely delicious food, right at the airport in Terminal 2.

We ordered two flat whites with oat milk. The cashier was incredibly unfriendly, and this is what we received. It's definitely not a flat white. The tables were also all dirty.

I chose the curry with turkey. It was prepared quickly, and the taste was just right. This place is a good alternative to the other restaurants, not only in terms of the variety of dishes but also in the price-performance ratio.

We had the Chili Cheese Smash Burger with fries. The burger and fries were tasty, but the burger could have been a bit spicier. Otherwise, it's really good here!

It's ridiculous that restaurants at an international airport are only officially open until 9 pm. After 8:30 pm, there was hardly any choice, if you could even order at all. The staff was unfriendly, and they were happily snacking on fries at Pommesfreunde while taking my order. The only thing left was cheeseburgers with fries and ketchup (two of them plus a drink for a hefty €45), and it certainly wasn't a highlight. I would never come back.

We had fresh pasta with pesto. Real Italian food made freshly. Yummy.

Surprisingly tasty and fresh sandwich with mozarella, lettuce, tomato and two types of dip/sauce. One pasta is a bit hot which gives an interesting hint. Complete to other mostly overpriced food corners or restaurants in the terminal, this one is affordable. Sockets for charging available. Coffee decent. Good value for this money. I wouldn’t try poor-looking burgers for around 20€ each but the fresh sandwiches are a good choice 😉

The staff are rude; for someone who works at an airport, I think the bare minimum is knowing English to communicate with customers, but not even that. Very poor service, and the food, while not the worst, wasn't worth the price. I don't recommend it.

Uninviting, expensive, no friendliness – no thanks. Once and never again. It's a shame, because with good food and friendly staff I would have gladly returned.

The sauce on my pasta was so watery it ran off and never reappeared, and every attempt to fish it back from the bottom of the bowl resulted in great disappointment, as not only was the consistency a nightmare, but so was the taste. The pasta was hard and bland, much like the service, and the only pleasure this dish offered was the burning sensation in my tongue.

Had a burger and it was good just extremely expensive.

Poor experience. We enter as it was on our way to the gate. Once we went to the order station, we were told that they start to serve in 1 he (it was 7:10) by the man at the serving station. The same person told us we can buy from the front side where they have croissants, already made sandwiches, coffee. Sitting down to enjoy our coffee and croissants, we saw the same person plus another women employee serving other persons, 5-10 min later. Why your employer lie ? Why you are open if you don't want clients ? Maybe let other business use the space who want to serve clients.

I've never had a worse burger. A bun, a piece of meat (the meat was bland and tasteless), and a sauce that tasted like mayonnaise. I didn't expect anything great from German food. But as I wrote earlier, I've never had a worse burger. The sausage was the same, smothered in ketchup. And all for a mere 42 euros, including two Cokes.

Catastrophic hygiene. He doesn't change his gloves after touching allergens, even when asked. He practically wipes his gloves on the pork slices, doesn't see the problem, and proceeds to touch the other pizzas. Your pizzas really don't look good, but with such poor hygiene, it's a disgrace. Don't you have hygiene standards in Germany?

Worst dining experience of my life. Order taken incorrectly, angry chef refused to correct it, and the manager called me "too dumb to order correctly" in my presence. Communication is terrible. The food at the competition was divine for the same price.

Sure, it’s got the standard overpriced food as other airports, and there’s plenty of free seats and tables. But, when the burger place not only once, but twice mixes up your order ?? I don’t mean mix up or forget. But actually putting chilli on the non-chilli menu, and jalapeños on the chili-burger, but forget the chili… So, not once, but twice!! 😳

AVOID!!!!! Absolutely bad, burnt, reheated products. Very expensive burgers for poorly reheated frozen food, ridiculously small, cold fries with rancid sauces. What about the pizzas? They're just vulgar bread pies with elastic mozzarella cheese and 2 teaspoons of cheap canned tomato sauce!!! We asked for pasta, and the answer was no, there wasn't any left. 4 minutes later, they were serving it to others!!! You have to go get your cutlery and napkins, there aren't any left. Dirty tables. The worst dining experience of my life. I'm 70 years old. It's a disgrace. Hygiene should be a priority, see how people are being poisoned. MOVE ON.

I'm allergic to cheese, and they didn't want to take the cheese off the burger I was about to make. The person who makes the burgers sits right next to the cash register. The experience was pathetic. Quick note- I ordered at Pommes Freunde Multiple reasons for that: 1. I wanted to order something from menu and I was told, “I will can only get cheese burger or veggie burger, if you don’t want to, move”. Way to treat your customer! Why only those burgers and nothing from the menu, cause they were running out of meat and they would rather rip multiple people off for a tiny burger than serve proper food. 2. The meat was under cooked. 3. The fries were so oily that you could squeeze oil off them 4. There were no tissue papers in any station. I literally went to the WC to wash my hands. 5. This one is the best- the guy putting sauce on the burger was also scratching himself under the apron. When I saw that, I left what I was eating and just walked.

Mediocre experience to be honest. Service from the barista lady was unheard of after she rolled her eyes when i asked which coffee was the one with oat milk. Coffee was okay. Would not recommend it.

We ordered two burguers and two beers. The waiter Hr. Plocher asked us twice and rudely for a tip. We had to wait for a number on the screen to get the food. After ten minutes our number was not in the screen list and the number passed. After asking to another waiter he said that the food was prepared on the desk. He said that we had to get the beers at the other side of the "restaurant". By the way, the hamburguers were horrible. Look for another place.

A bit crowded, but food is excellent. Its a mix of multiple restaurants. And it delivers a good quality, order took about 10 min. Ketchup and other dips sold separately. 17€ at the time of review for a bacon cheeseburger. Judge if that is expensive for you. Honestly it seems a little higher then regular places, but it is an airport and that adds to the price.

Rudest staff here at the burger/currywurst place — take 25 min to take your order and then told everyone they were only going to do half an order per person because they wanted to leave in time. Said there were no more fries left when there was a huge stack there obviously

Be careful! The contents of the food aren't clearly labeled, and the staff isn't capable of providing any answers. I paid too much for a sandwich I couldn't eat, which gave me gastrointestinal problems for two days, and I was even treated rudely and condescendingly by the sales assistant. Terrible service!

Paid 2 coffe and croissants 21€. Was the first time in my life that after dropping almost the entire coffe they did not have the courtesy to remake it. Not sure if it is not part of the German hospitality customs but definitely not up to the standard of such an expensive place, this place should deserve less than 4 stars.

The food was okay, although very expensive, which is normal at the airport. What is completely unacceptable, however, is a Paulaner wheat beer in a mug, and warm at that, and that is disastrous in Munich!!!

It doesn't offer any kind of feel-good atmosphere. You can tell that only quantity, quantity, quantity counts here. Very cramped, uncomfortable seating. The concept itself is well thought out (the reason for two stars). You order at a random cash register and then go to the station with the pickup code. However, lines quickly form at the cash registers. Displays next to the food menu indicate which food is currently being prepared or ready for pickup. Unfortunately, these are lost in the mass of colorful images. The concept isn't easy for passengers to understand either, and I noticed that some left because no one could explain how the system works (due to a language barrier). The options include fries/burgers, pasta, pizza, Asian food, and sausage. The curry, unfortunately, had no flavor. Too watery and slightly gritty (when the cream is cooked too hot). The rice was very mushy. In my opinion, this is unfortunately the worst food establishment in Terminal 2 at Munich Airport. A disappointment.

Good pizza, a bit bland Thai curry... Unfortunately, we overlooked the soy sauce on the counter. The price is obviously higher. The pizza really wasn't bad. You can order anything from any area here, so look for places where it's less busy.

The staff was very unmotivated and, for some reason, insisted on the order number despite the low customer volume. A customer in front of us had to fish it out of the trash. The pizza was above average in price and below average in size and quality.

Disgusting food, aggressive and unfriendly staff We want to order two cheeseburgers, each to the tune of €16.90, and stand in front of the grill station surrounded by the smell of burnt cooking oil and the associated clouds of smoke. The chef, a strong person with a scowl on his face, barks at you (literally!) about what you want. And the next guest and the next guest. The burger arrives, you take a lukewarm peach tea from the fridge (€ 4.90) and pay, seething inside. The burger: a dry bun, a blob of ketchup, a hard patty made from inferior meat, wilted lettuce snippets, some of which are already gone, tomatoes that taste slightly spoiled, cucumbers from the discount store. Plus fries, which taste strongly of frying oil and are otherwise not worth mentioning. Money thrown out the window, annoyance as a bonus. The entire restaurant is not that clean.

We ordered a pizza and three burgers. We're a family of six. The burger chefs provided extremely rude service. Very rude in their attitude and manner. We don't recommend it.

Could not locate the restaurant we wanted to eat in, so we reluctantly ended here and shared the milano salami pizza. Flavourless and overdone base with too salty, low quality toppings. All this for €16.90, very sad. The whole airport deserves a 1-star review for high food prices and average to poor food quality with no information desks or useful maps showing how to reach other dining areas.

For an airport self-service restaurant, it's not too bad. There are several choices: pasta, pizzas, burgers and Asian... All in a calm atmosphere for an airport. The cooking is done on site. The fries are frozen as well as the meat but the Asian dishes are appetizing. On the other hand, the drinks are very expensive. Choose Asian and you won't be disappointed

Was heute am flughafen muenchen passiert ist, war eine katastrophe. Einem aelteren herr ist beim bezahlen die pizza auf dem boden geknallt und lag mit dem Scherben auf dem boden. Er selnst musate die aufheben und der kassierer ist ihm nicht mal entgegen gekommen sondern meinte don’t sorry und das war’s Er musste sie vom boden aufkratzen, bezahlen und saß später am Tisch und hat die gegessen.(wohlmöglich aus Zeitrgruenden oder der Herr hatte kein. Geld für ne neue. Unverantwortlich vom Mitarbeiter sowas, wissend die Scherben vom teller könnten in der Pizza drin sein. Menschlichkeit gibt es wohl in Deutschland nicht mehr. Dieser Mitarbeiter hat nur ein Wort verdient welches auf Sohn endet.

I really liked the spicy beef rice bowl in the Asian corner. I was craving spicy food while traveling in Europe, and it was just the right spicy flavor.

Unmöglich! Man stellt sich an, ordert sein Essen, nimmt sich Getränke und wandert zur Kasse und bezahlt. Alles gut, außer man möchte, wie in Bayern üblich, ein Bier vom Fass. Das muss man erst an der Kasse ordern und bezahlen, damit es dann eingeschenkt wird. Man wird auch noch dumm angeredet und ignoriert, wenn man diese absurde Logik nicht versteht. Das Essen war nicht der Hit und die Preise flughafenüblich ziemlich überzogen. Für uns definitiv kein zweites Mal!

Wow, totally pleasantly surprised! We had Asian food and it was totally good. Throughout the airport we only found junk and bad things that were way too expensive. The price is worth it here! Freshly prepared, good ingredients and beautifully presented 🤗 Top!
