Sportalm in Oberding

Katharina at Sportalm was great. My wife only speaks English, and she helped her in good English. She was very personal, friendly, and professional! It was really nice to be there at Sportalm.

Visually, it was a great place. Unfortunately, the pasta was completely overcooked and soft, like mush, and there was way too much pesto and it consisted mostly of oil. My soft pasta was swimming in half a liter of green oil. A shame, considering the price.

The price/performance ratio isn't right. Before I complain, let's start with the positives: I really liked the restaurant itself; I think the "Alpine Hut" concept is great – and so is the gondola. The server was friendly, too. And considering the restaurant is located right in the airport, you can enjoy a certain peace and quiet here. Unfortunately, there were some serious shortcomings that unfortunately tempt me not to come back. We ordered a slice of Margherita pizza, which was inedible. We were still charged the €6.90. The Schlutzkrapfen (scrambler doughnuts) were okay, but unfortunately, they weren't really seasoned – and didn't live up to the almost €14 we paid. The penne Bolognese was really good. Furthermore, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy, we waited almost 45 minutes for the food. We also noticed guests who then left because it took so long. We ordered 1 cake, 7 drinks, and 4 dishes – that's completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is the first and last time – a real shame.

Pretends to work, impossible to order even looking straight into the eyes of the waiters at the counter for 10 minutes. Just a little silly smile... Useless

We had breakfast at the Sportalm on Friday, September 26, 2025, before our flight. It was absolutely delicious, and the staff was super friendly, especially our waitress Olga! AWESOME - keep it up! 👍

Well, let's be honest: the butter pretzel only has a few sporadic spots of butter. Half of the "pretzel" had nothing at all. The coffee was good, though.

Never in my life have I ordered a Hugo at a restaurant or cafe and received something like this… where is the rest of the drink? The ice? The mint? I had to wait while the staff was gossiping for the chef to go and tell them to even serve me when the place is empty. Not acceptable.

Good choice of diverse, healthy meals and luscious desserts. Friendly and quick service.

Food is fine, coffee is bad, people working there were unwelcoming and rude, not enough seating, expensive for what it is.

I tried their cafe and drinks. It was quiet and nice, and the service was excellent.

It's pretty crazy to pay €5 for this, but we thought it was a portafilter machine, so only the coffee would be good, and now the coffee came from a machine? Cheeky!! Coffee = water with milk!!!!

He gave me mango juice even it is not on the menu and very very very good service and speed .

Sportalm was a big disappointment. The food was honestly awful, poorly cooked, low quality, and completely lacking flavor. On top of that, the staff were unwelcoming, making the entire experience uncomfortable. Definitely not a place I’d recommend or return to.

We had an excellent lunch on May 19th, and we were served by Olga. She was very lovely to speak with and gave us excellent service .

The place is nice and cosy. I get a lunch before the flight and it was great! Thanks to Olga that serve us in a beste way!

We had a great experience at Sportalm. The salad was fresh and the server Olga was really kind to help us choose the best dressing. The coffee is not too bad either!

Unexpectedly good! I'm always wary of restaurants like this, but here, not only was the food delicious (I think the food is pretty good for the location), but the staff was also friendly and helpful. I'd also like to say a personal "thank you" to the waitress. I was so tired from the stress before the flight and could hardly decide on anything 😅 The lady was very patient and helped me with a tip at the end 👍 This left me feeling good and with a full stomach while I waited before the flight 💪😁 I would happily recommend it ☺️

A group of 4, we ordered vegetarian dishes, they customised some dishes. They have pasta + pesto, veg dumplings and salads. The food was good overall and the staff is friendly.

I can't believe this gem is in an airport! As soon as I walked in, I received an incredibly friendly welcome — the service was attentive, quick and very warm. The atmosphere was calm and stylish, a perfect break from the hectic airport traffic. The food was exceptional — beautifully prepared and a real highlight in terms of taste. Everything was fresh, high quality and prepared with great attention to detail. You immediately notice that quality comes first here. Regardless of whether it's a short stopover or a longer waiting time: a visit here is definitely worth it. By far one of the best dining experiences I've ever had at an airport - and better than many restaurants in the city. Absolute recommendation!

Very nice restaurant with comfortable seats and beautiful decor at Munich Airport. After a 30-hour journey, we were really looking forward to a Weißwurst breakfast, and we were not disappointed. Good portion, good quality, and very, very tasty. I highly recommend it!

I fly very often and actually did not consider having my breakfast here as I do check the feedbacks and those were not the best. But this time my flight was held up and my partner and I were tired and didn’t want to go around looking. I should say, I was surprised , this is a very cozy place, nice atmosphere, delicious food, surprisingly good coffee and extremely friendly waiter Olga, who did her best to make our delay enjoyable. The best beer I've ever had at an airport

13 euros for two liver casseroles. Subterranean in taste. I'm now lying flat on vacation with intestinal catarrh. Does it come from Leberkas? Not excluded.

Weisswursts were only lukewarm. The staff doesn't speak German and is very unfriendly. Not helpful. Difficult to tell whether you are being served or have to queue. If you ask, you will be sent to a checkout without a plan

To satisfy our hunger, we bought two normal pretzels for just under 4 euros. It's probably just due to the location. But it would be great if the pretzels at least weren't stale and totally hard for this price. We could have gotten baked pretzels at the Rewe next door. However, service was friendly.

At this airport eatery at 7:20 am, every request was met with ‘no, can’t do’. Can you help me with gluten free options ‘no, can’t do’. Instead the customer gets directed to a QR code with a 4 page tabular document in fine print. Can I have Avocado (on the menu), ‘no, can’t do’. Only available from 10am. Can I order scrambled eggs? ‘No, can’t do’. We only do sunny side up. Eventually just gave up and left.

Terrible cheesecake for €5 each, a door to the terrace that is neither an entrance nor an exit, and the completely overpriced prices don't even count towards the parking ticket like in the airbräu. Please just close your shop. Once and never again, I can go to the REWE opposite.

Unfriendly staff, forgets to calculate orders and when you do self-service you are immediately harassed about whether you have paid for everything, where is the receipt, are asked at the checkout etc. Absolute no-go and not recommended!! Never again

Robby was the star of our lunchtime experience on Saturday. Warm, attentive, and welcoming, he made us immediately feel at home. Loved the fresh fish and vegetables cooked before us, as well as the pesto pasta. The food was (unexpectedly) quite tasty, and my sister-in-law and I quite enjoyed the experience of dining there. 🎉

Listless staff, impossible demeanor, you are served while chewing gum and looking bored. Sometimes the employees appear very uncoordinated - then the four of us stand there and discuss classic processes in front of the customers for the third time. When I paid I still gave a tip of 20%. Reaction from the male waiter: Annoyed, wild pressing on the reader because you had to change the amount because of the tip. And afterwards: no THANK YOU, no goodbye or anything else!!! The restaurant's not-so-good reputation was mine well known, but I have myself today convinced! Since I work at the airport, it was the last time and I don't recommend it either. It's a shame, especially given the prices!! The stars are due to the ambience.

Right at the entrance to terminal 2. Many veggie choices and draft Erdinger Weißbier.

Delicious food in a very short time (I had the grilled fish filet with roasted potatoes and creamy spinach). All ingredients cooked to perfection (see pic), impressive quality, especially considering the speed of the service (waited only about 7 min). Tasted all very natural, and it was a large portion, too. With a very juicy piece of lemon and parsley decor. Beautiful presentation and dishware. Friendly service. The design of the place could use some visual barriers, especially because most tables are directly with the back to the airport hall.
