Das Zeitlos in Heringsdorf

We were there a few days ago and just wanted to get some drinks. But waiting 40 minutes for five drinks is really bad. Especially since it was only two beers and three hot drinks, so it wasn't really a big deal.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The three of us got a table right away without a reservation. The food was delicious and the service was extremely friendly; you could tell they enjoyed their work. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were perfect.

We had a very good meal at Zeitlos. The service was friendly and quick. The zander fillet was perfect, with fried potatoes and a side salad. Overall, good value for money. We'd be happy to come back.

The pictures and reviews of this restaurant spontaneously inspired us to visit. Since it was very warm, we sat outside on the terrace, which, however, felt rather cool and had the feel of a snack bar. For our starter, we ordered a salad, which was unfortunately inedible – the sauerkraut and dressing tasted strongly of flavor enhancers. Furthermore, the salad took so long to arrive that it ended up being served with the main course. The main course consisted of a baked schnitzel with fries. Unfortunately, the fries were still raw and cold inside, and the schnitzel itself was hard, dry, and barely edible. After informing the staff about the fries, it took another 15 minutes before we received a replacement. Given the high prices and poor quality of the food, we unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

The food is good, home-style, freshly prepared, and very tasty. I'd especially like to highlight the staff – extremely friendly, attentive, and courteous. Even when making the reservation over the phone, they were very friendly. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands.

The food was excellent. The schnitzel was of superb quality. The herring was also perfect, the Remu was delicious, and the fried potatoes weren't dripping with grease from a hairdryer. The spiced meat was also great...I simply love it. You don't get it like that here. The staff is incredibly friendly; you can really tell they love their job. I highly recommend it!

We've been coming to the island of Usedom every year since 2016, but only today was our first visit to this restaurant. We haven't regretted it. Quite the opposite. Super friendly service, excellent food. We always enjoy coming here.

A fantastic experience, a great alternative to the restaurants on the pier. We received a very friendly welcome and received very professional service throughout our stay. The food was delicious, fresh (!), and appetizingly presented. The child-friendliness was also very noticeable. Don't be put off by the restaurant... it's worth a visit. I actually just wanted to eat a bratwurst at the stand in front of the Kaiserhof, where last year they still accepted cash payments, but this year they only accept card payments—bye ...

Access to the restaurant is via a concrete staircase (which apparently doesn't belong to the owner), and at first, you have a bad feeling... And then you get a totally positive surprise: As soon as you step into this welcoming environment, everything is right with you. You're greeted and served very warmly. You sit comfortably, the food is freshly prepared and delicious, and the value for money is excellent! What more could you want? A clear recommendation! We say "thank you" and would be happy to come back.

We were here last year. The price/performance ratio is great. The outdoor area isn't that appealing. Considering the location, it could definitely be better.

I ordered two lunches and they were served within a reasonable time. One dish was a roulade with red cabbage and mashed potatoes. The roulade was certainly pre-cooked, as it couldn't be done otherwise given the short time between ordering and serving. However, some parts of the meat were dry and tough, meaning it had been heated improperly. The second half of the roulade was inedible. The second dish was a mixed fish platter with fried potatoes. The plate was so packed that it was almost impossible to start eating without dropping some on the table. The fish was fried passably, but the fried potatoes were a disaster: oily, soft, not crispy, and many pieces were almost burnt. Some kind of pre-fried mixture thrown into the pan with a lot of fat and heated up with little care.

The price-performance ratio is excellent. The food is delicious and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants on Usedom.

My mother and I had dinner at Zeitlos twice during our vacation. My mother is wheelchair-bound, but that's not a problem at Zeitlos. Access to the restaurant is barrier-free via the rear of the building. The food at Zeitlos is delicious and excellent value for money. The atmosphere is very pleasant. We will definitely eat there again on our next vacation here in Heringsdorf.

We were looking for a place to have dinner. Since Zeitlos had good reviews, we decided to go there. When we saw the staircase and the menu on the staircase, we weren't so sure whether we wanted to eat there. The staircase didn't look inviting at all, and the display case with the menu was also old and unloved. We decided to be brave. We sat down in a beach chair on the terrace and were immediately greeted warmly by the waitress. From our beach chair, we could see the Heringsdorf pier and listen to the live music from the festival grounds below. The food selection is limited, but you'll find something to suit your taste. The food tastes good and the value for money is good. We've been there twice now and would gladly come back.

I've been to Heringsdorf so many times and unfortunately haven't eaten here yet. It was really good today, friendly service and it was delicious too: cappuccino, beer and schnitzel with mushrooms and croquettes. And the highlight: my favorite radio station 80s80s was playing in the restaurant!!!!!! Was here again today, May 12th: Soljanka and Hamburger Schnitzel, everything was perfect again and many thanks to the nice service

After 2 years we are in Heringsdorf again for a long weekend and a visit to “Zeitlos” cannot be missed. The food is, as always, super tasty and the price is also completely okay. We recommend anyone who likes good German cuisine to stop by here.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we will definitely go again. The food was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was definitely right. Ok, the decor isn't super stylish - but if you don't necessarily need fancy and like solid home cooking, you can't go wrong here. Particularly recommended: the Hamburger Schnitzel with fried potatoes and the Letscho Schnitzel with fries. The child-friendliness was also great, our daughter was happy with the hamburger and fries 🍟

We had dinner in the restaurant yesterday and well, the staircase is inconspicuous, the ambience was ok and the service was friendly. The food selection is manageable and the quality is ok for the prices. You find something, you get full, but you don't have to go back. The restaurant lacks pep, charm, order... everything seems to have stood still, things are going well up here on the coast!

Nice little restaurant. Therefore, in winter we were only served indoors, so reservations are recommended. Service very friendly, reasonable prices, food very tasty. Unfortunately, the quality is no longer the same as last year, apparently a new chef. Beef roulade is of course frozen, like everywhere else. But then, as before, please good quality with visible cucumbers etc. but the cheap version where it's just mud works at all not.Only the red cabbage tasted good.Usedomer fish soup is mush and tastes like nothing.I prefer to keep quiet about the so-called fish duet.Besides, the shop was ice cold.

It's nice that this café still exists. I remember it from my childhood (at the old location). The food was good, the staff friendly and attentive. I just miss the old furnishings, especially the beautiful pictures.

The atmosphere is a bit cool, so it's not that comfortable. Unfortunately, due to the vegetation towards the sea, the view is completely missing. But the food was good. For me, as a glutton, it was even enough (along with dessert). I had the brawn with fried potatoes, then we also had the roulade and the chicken fillets with fries in the children's version on the table. Dessert was the children's Pinocchio, waffles and, for me, chocolate cakes. Together with drinks it was €73. It's okay for me. The service and the staff as a whole were very friendly, very quick and refreshingly unobtrusive. As soon as you wanted something it was there and otherwise we had peace and quiet. Very good and also very child-friendly! I didn't see any wheelchair access, we went up the stairs. We will definitely come here again on our next vacation.

When we visit the island, we always stop at Zeitlos. However, our visit today left me in a somewhat mild mood. The waitress didn't even put a smile on her face, as we know otherwise, and left us lying there because another guest came into the restaurant and wanted to let us know something, which could certainly have waited. It's a shame that you were left here like that. Our son chose the breaded chicken breast fillet with fries, when we placed the order we were told that they were nuggets, why isn't that signposted on the menu? Incomprehensible and the disappointment was great. The fries were totally soggy. The fried potatoes lukewarm. We are used to better things from Zeitlos and won't be coming back for a while. Too bad!

The food tastes excellent, the service is very accommodating, the dishes are delivered quickly. The menu is not very extensive, but it is good home cooking. The new rooms are really well done, it looks cozy.

Everything is great, friendly staff and the food is fresh and very tasty. What more could you want... July 1, 2024: Unfortunately, “Zeitlos” has developed very much for the worse in recent years. There is no longer any ambience. The "terrace" is unkempt, the sanitary facilities are unreasonable. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has become so bad that we probably won't come here again. Otherwise we had been here at least twice per holiday (2 holidays per year) for many years. The seasoned meat on the schnitzel au four was once homemade, but this time it was just terrible. The only thing that has remained is the friendly staff. Too bad

We sat in a beach chair with a view of the Baltic Sea, very comfortable, and the food was great. My husband chose farmer's breakfast, he said it was like his mother made. That's a compliment. I had the Letschosteak, also highly recommended.

This restaurant is located right near the pier. The service is very competent and friendly. Our food was freshly prepared and very tasty. The prices are quite acceptable for Heringsdorf standards. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend this restaurant. The outdoor area with beach chairs is also very comfortable. We'd love to come back

It's a wonderful place to sit on the first floor, not far from the pier and the concert shell, with a view of the greenery. You can enjoy food in a beach chair on the patio. Three types of fish, vegetables and fried potatoes were very tasty. The service was quick and friendly.

Even if the atmosphere is a bit staid, we had a lovely meal here. The double fish plate with additional shrimp skewer was simply great. Even a wet wipe was handed out when serving. Service was quick and very friendly. In contrast to many other establishments in Heringsdorf, you could also pay by card here. We didn't regret the visit and were very satisfied. Very good value for money. However, there is a problem. From what I've seen, access is only possible via a longer staircase. This is a major difficulty for people with walking difficulties, and it is no longer possible for wheelchair users. I didn't notice a longer driveway or an elevator, but I didn't look for it either.

Today we chose “The Timeless” to satisfy our hunger. We were greeted very friendly and shown to our table. On the menu you will only find dishes that were familiar from GDR times. We chose the Würzfleich and the Soljanka as a starter and the main course was a large salad and the Hamburger Schnitzel. Both starters were very tasty, but the large salad as the main course was carelessly prepared. The Hamburger Schnitzel was again very tasty. The price/performance ratio was more than okay. We will definitely come back again

Price-performance and service extremely great!!! You can spontaneously get a seat without a reservation and receive a very friendly welcome. The food is fresh, very tasty and plentiful. You don't have to wait very long for the food either. Small children are also welcome guests here and the little ones get something to paint to pass the time. We are always happy to come back. We visited the restaurant at least once on vacation, including this year. The good food at reasonable prices and the friendly service make us happy to stop there. There is also a beautiful view.

The ambience is really not nice and the restaurant doesn't seem inviting. Without Google we probably wouldn't have found/visited it. The food was ok. Not particularly good, but not bad either. I would neither recommend it nor visit it again. It just wasn't convincing.

We were there for dinner today at 6 p.m., it was good that we had reservations (which may have been due to the weather, it was cold, most of us sat inside). But there is a nice, large terrace with, among other things, some beach chairs. The food was good, value for money was absolutely right. Now at matjes time we had matjes fillet with homemade remoulade and fried potatoes, very tasty.

If you want to feel like Grandma 👵🏻 at lunch in the GDR, this is 100% the right place! From the solyanka to the fried potatoes to the cucumber salad, everything was right 🤤. Unfortunately it's a bit difficult to discover, but we were directed there by calling the restaurant. An absolute recommendation 🤩.

The Restaurant Zeitlos neither has a website nor is the menu available online. The menu photos uploaded to Google Maps don't help either. The menu is apparently new and the prices have increased significantly. An inquiry to the waitress was answered unfriendly and rudely. Unfortunately, the Hamburger Schnitzel was not convincing. The schnitzel was very fatty, chewy and tasted like it came out of the deep fryer.

This is a fine restaurant in an old DDR Building in which there is this restaurant. The atmosphere is rather bleak, as there is no decoration and just grey concrete. The “Strandkörbe” as seating do little to lighten up the mood. Nevertheless it’s not bad. The service was typical for German restaurants- not outstanding, but fine -. The food was pretty good. I veganised their falafel burger. It was actually quite nice. There are two veggie options in total. The prices were fine, but the burger was a little expensive. Almost 17€ for a falafel burger. Overall I do recommend going here.

A little hidden on the upper floor of the building, the Zeitlos doesn't have to hide. The somewhat rustic building has been transformed into a nice restaurant served by very friendly and humorous staff. Our meals (zander, schnitzel, burgers) were all delicious and filling, perhaps a little greasy. The order was delivered quickly and reorders of drinks and dessert also went quickly. We'd love to go there again!

Food was okay. But a bit too greasy for the price and the schnitzel wasn't of good quality. Portion was sufficient, we were full. It was tasty but I didn't think the prices were right for the quality of the food. The fried potatoes tasted like they came from a ready-made package. They were a little greasy and were totally soft. Service was quick and nice. Ambiance wasn't the best. The hotel next to it looks terrible, although if you sit correctly you can look towards the water. Schnitzel with fried potatoes costs €18.90! Tasted…

Had fried potatoes with plaice fillet, I have to say a disappointment. The fish was barely visible under the breading and the fried potatoes were soggy. More of a snack bar than a restaurant.

A quiet place in the GDR Ostbau with a terrace, The restaurant is well located on the promenade and on the terrace overlooking the Baltic Sea. The terrace and facade could use a new coat of paint. The food tastes good and the service is quick, attentive and friendly. The premises are well maintained and the sanitary facilities are clean.

Food is rather fried and quite greasy, beer is very good, friendly service, ambience is reminiscent of GDR charm, but good value for money.

It's a shame that the stairs to the restaurant are so uninviting. Everything in the restaurant was clean, fresh flowers on the table and friendly service. In the evening it was certainly even more comfortable. Solyanka was really tasty.

We wouldn't want to go without this restaurant on our vacation. Very nice and fast service, always tasty and nicely prepared food. The terrace is, among other things, equipped with comfortable beach chairs, some of which have a great view of the Baltic Sea. Everything works for us here.

We cannot share the reviews regarding the staff. The staff were very friendly. However, the food was of average quality at best, as mainly fried foods were offered, so it was more of a snack bar quality than a restaurant quality. However, the prices were quite high for this quality. The salad was partly rotten... drink prices were very high.
