Schickes Lokal, gut gelegen, Service 1a und das Essen war sehr gut und kam auch relativ zügig. Einige leckere Cocktail Kreationen, ich kann es komplett empfehlen.

Essen und Personal top . Ich hätte mir nur zum Essen ein Beilagensalat gewünscht , kenne ich aus anderen Restaurants.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 18.30 bestellt und wurden bei Ankunft gebeten uns im vorderen „Wartebereich „ nieder zu lassen da unser Tisch noch nicht frei sei . Mit 15 min Verspätung wurden wir dann zum Tisch geleitet welcher für 6 Personen bestellt aber nur für 4 Personen eingedeckt war da die Hälfte fehlte . Die Karte ist sehr übersichtlich, das bestellte und servierte Essen ist etwas zu trist und leider ohne viel Kochkünste zubereitet . Dieses Restaurant hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente 5Sterne dafür . Aber beim Essen bleibt es bei nur 1 Stern und den muss man vergeben um eine Bewertung zu schreiben .

Mehr Schein, als Sein. Man möchte mehr darstellen, als man wirklich ist. Zwischen schlechter, teurer Trüffelpasta und Schnitzel mit Pommes. Nicht empfehlenswert! Schlechte Qualität fürs Auge in Szene gesetzt.

Premierenbesuch mit absolut positiver Überraschung. Netter schneller freundlicher Service. Ansprechend angerichtete Speisen, sehr schmackhaft. Besonders empfehlenswert die dort selbst gemachten Pommes Frites. Gern wieder. Nun waren wir mit deutlichem Abstand wieder dort und wurden ernüchtert. Wie so häufig auch hier: kleinere Portionen zum gleichen Preis. Das ist so schade. Außerdem gab es die selbstgemachten Pommes nicht mehr. Bedienung wieder top. Leider ist bei meinem dritten Besuch wieder die verkleinerte Portion ärgerlich. Beilagen wie Pommes ok, Fleisch deutlich reduziert.

An der Portion "kretanische Kartoffeln " darf gerne gearbeitet, sodass man auch satt wird. Eine Kartoffel in Scheiben geschnitten drapiert auf nem Untertassenteller u etwas Käse drauf, ist schon etwas dürftig. Trotz, dass der Kellner darauf angesprochen wurde, änderte sich nix. Ansonsten war es soweit in Ordnung.

Eigentlich ein schönes Restaurant, aber mit Preisen an der Schmerzgrenze. "Spezial" Gyros mit Knoblauchsauce, Käse überbacken und kretanische Kartoffeln für 19 Euro ist gerade noch so akzeptabel. Als das Essen dann kam, waren wir geschockt, denn die kretanischen Kartoffeln war in Wirklichkeit nur eine, in hauchdünne Scheiben geschnittene, Kartoffel. Nach drei Gabeln war die Beilage weg und das Gyros musste so verspeist werden. Der Kellner wurde auf das "Problem" angesprochen, aber es interessierte ihn reichlich wenig. Es kam weder eine Entschuldigung, ein Angebot mit Nachschlag, oder ein Aperitif auf das Haus, beim Bezahlen der Rechnung. Von daher gibt es von uns nur ein Stern und leider keine Weiterempfehlung...

Everything was perfect! There were five of us there. The food was super delicious. Three of us enjoyed it immensely. One of us might have found it dry, and a friend's food was unfortunately already cold. But I'm rating this for myself. It was delicious, and I would go back. The restaurant is large and cozy. There's no annoying background music like in other restaurants, and the noise level is perfectly fine.

Unfortunately, the Schwarze Schaff is no longer on the market square! When the Schwarze Schaff was still on the market square, I would have given the ambiance 4 stars. Personally, I think they've lost their charm since the move. Just as I have to say, I would have given the service 3 stars before the move. But the food still tastes just as good after the move as it did before, and the price-performance ratio is still perfectly acceptable.

A highly recommended Greek restaurant. The name is a bit confusing at first, as you wouldn't immediately assume it's Greek. But it was worth eating here. Very good food and great service.

Delicious food, very dedicated and friendly staff. Special requests are no problem either. Unfortunately, for my taste, the ambiance is too modern and simple, rather than classic comfort. Edit 09-2025: Unfortunately, the menu selection has recently been reduced, and some of the dishes have changed. My "favorite" dish is no longer available. Therefore, regrettably, one star deducted.

Very good Greek restaurant with a relatively small menu and very tasty food (be sure to try the tzatziki) at reasonable prices.

I had lamb with butter rice and it is the best lamb I have ever eaten, absolutely amazing. And the waiter was just super nice and attentive. Thank you so much for the great food and great service.

We visited "Schwarzes Schaf" for the first time today and were thrilled with both the food and the ambiance. We had tzatziki, Cretan potatoes (a highlight), and beets with goat cheese. All three starters were delicious and generously sized. For the main course, we had lamb in garlic sauce. The lamb was extremely tender, the garlic sauce not overpowering... simply perfectly balanced and delicious! 🤤 The service was very attentive and very friendly. The value for money is more than reasonable. Even though it's a long way for us, we will be back... best wishes from Staßfurt 😋

Great food with friendly service and modern decor We walked in spontaneously on a Saturday at 5 p.m. and got a seat without having to wait, as the restaurant was still empty at that time. It was quiet, and the decor was a bit too modern for my taste, somewhat detracting from the atmosphere, but it wasn't a big deal. The food was very tasty, and the portions were just right. The prices were still a bit high for my liking, as I expected a bit more from the food and because of the ambiance. The service was friendly, very quick, and attentive. The restaurant was also very clean – everything seemed neat and well-maintained. In summary, it's a great restaurant. The service is quick and friendly, the food is good, and everything is clean, and the ambiance is very modern.

Helt igennem god og hyggelig og omhyggelig betjening. Vi havde ikke bestilt bord på forhånd, men fik alligevel 3 fine pladser. Maden er på et absolut fint niveau, og vores samt nabo-bordenes retter fik roser med overfor tjenerne, kunne vi høre. Absolut et sted, som vi godt kan anbefale.

Excellent food and service we will be back next time we come to the Harz

We reserved a table in advance by phone, which worked out very well. We were seated directly and were able to order very quickly. The food didn't take long to arrive either. It was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. The servers were very attentive and super friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

This is highly recommended! Quick, friendly service, delicious food, subtle ambience. We had schnitzel, rarely had such a good Viennese style schnitzel. Tender, deliciously seasoned meat, fluffy breading, really great! The fries are crispy. The portion is filling. Maybe some salad was missing, but that's complaining at a high level. 100% recommendation, we will definitely come back.

Drinks were really tasty. The starter of salmon tartare with avocado was very good. The two main courses we had did not meet our expectations. Fries not crispy but greasy. Meat quite dry and everything in a fatty red sauce. The service responded really well and was really nice and offered a replacement, but we were served the food and declined.

We were shocked, homemade fries were drowned in fat. Gyros was burnt, but the Veltins was good.

Terrible. After eating the gyros plate with fries and sauce, we sat on the toilet several times in the evening and the following day with diarrhea! And that with the comparatively hefty prices. So something was spoiled! Unbelievable. So we're never coming back!!

We ended up there by chance on vacation today and came out overwhelmed! Ambience: Very stylish, chic; beautiful decoration; good room layout; not loud. Service: all 3 service staff who advised and served us were competent, friendly and courteous; Service that makes you feel good! Food: everything we ate (salmon tartare, salad with goat cheese, liver, nut nougat parfait) was terrific. Everything recommended. And at a good price/performance ratio. There were a lot of guests, so reservations are recommended.

We ate here with our guests after our civil wedding, outside opening hours. We had been there months before to put together our menu for our day. It was a culinary delight all around - whether it was the starter plate with various delicacies, our main courses (salmon, lamb & pasta) or the dessert (nut nougat parfait & crème brûlée) - everything was simply delicious! The staff was there just for us and nothing was missing there either. They were nice and accommodating and made you feel very comfortable.

I've never had a tastier Greek meal than here...everything was just fantastic...so we went back the next day 👌🤗 Unfortunately I don't have a photo... because I ate it too quickly...😋

The service was very friendly and the ambience was very pleasant, even because of the hot day. You can live on the terrace. The starter platter is a bit too small for 4 people but very appealing. The meat was tender and pink. Fries were homemade. Tzatziki was super fresh and tasty. The coleslaw was fine. The rice was A1. The gyros were super tasty and crispy. The napkins were also super comfortable and not cheap. Grade: 8.5/10

Delicious dishes and very friendly service

I have been loyal to the Black Sheep for many years, even before they opened their restaurant here. I wasn't disappointed then or now, I like the atmosphere and love the food, the service is competent and friendly. I'll be happy to come back and when I'm looking for a restaurant for a special occasion I always like to choose the Black Sheep!

Everything (price, food, ambience, service) was great. Definitely coming back. Very tasty tzatziki. The starter plate not only looked delicious but was also delicious. You just wonder which main course you can manage given the quantity ;-) The starter plate was a real main course for my wife. The fries are really homemade and therefore not crispy like “normal” fries, but they taste great. Service was friendly and relatively attentive despite the full house.

The food is very good. The appetizer plate was super good and a good portion. We can only recommend this restaurant.

The Black Schaf is a Greek restaurant in the extended center of Goslar's old town. From the outside, the restaurant on the ground floor of a block certainly doesn't look quite as cozy. But the internal, very stylish ambience is definitely successful and the very attentive service is definitely worth highlighting. In terms of taste, all dishes were of a good, upscale level. However, there is a deduction for the sometimes not so good price-performance ratio (including 0.4 l soft drink for 5.50 euros, a small potato (Cretanian) for 6 euros). The musical accompaniment could also be more stylish (no pop songs from the radio).

The food was OK, not what I expected. Since we still got a place, 25 minutes before the kitchen closed, more stars than we deserved. We would be seated at the loudest table behind which the cups were being washed and the employees were talking loudly. All in all, it's not worth another visit for us, which is a shame

Today we had dinner at the Schwarzes Schaf restaurant in Goslar. We both had a menu, I had liver, souvlaki and giros. When it was served I noticed there was a lot of sauce underneath the meat that I didn't ask for. In my opinion, this dish, and especially Giros, should contain tzatziki. The fries were quite greasy, after complaining new fries were delivered which were just as good as the previous ones. It was Greek but didn't taste like those spices. As an avid cook, I can say that I find grilling easier at home.

Price-performance ratio is simply not right. The food is delicious but I find 21 euros for two (small) pieces of turkey and some rice to be steep. I paid 11 euros for two 0.4l Cokes. A 0.4l beer was cheaper than a cola. That shouldn't be the case.

We sat outside. Food took a little longer, it was probably forgotten to be served because it arrived almost cold and the neighboring table that had ordered after us was already eating by the time our two portions arrived. The food was still very, very tasty and I would highly recommend it. What's not possible, however, is to start putting everything together at 10 p.m. on a Saturday evening when you're still open for an hour and a half. We then left earlier than planned and didn't order any more drinks, simply because we no longer felt well. Hence a star deduction.

We had a very nice dinner at the Schwarzen Schaf in Goslar. The restaurant is furnished to a high standard. The tables are a comfortable distance apart and offer enough space for the guests. The service was super fast. Our waiter was very personable, friendly and asked several times about our well-being. The taste of the food also impressed us. The portions are also really generous. Even a good eater will be satisfied here. A clear recommendation! 💯

We ate here today on the recommendation of a colleague. And I am very grateful for this tip. You're always looking for pearls in the Harz, and this restaurant is definitely one. Just the reception at the entrance was super friendly. This continued throughout the evening. The staff is super attentive and friendly but not too intrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice and modern. And now let's get to the food. Here you can tell that everything is cooked freshly and in-house. Even the fries are homemade. A huge compliment to the whole team. We will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

We really liked the restaurant, especially the service and the ambience. Unfortunately we weren't that happy with the food (large cuisine), everything was on the table in 5 minutes, the baked meat (special gyros) didn't taste fresh, more like it had all been warmed up in advance. The asparagus, on the other hand, was very good. Maybe choose a different dish next time, but the speed of the food on the table was a bit strange

Sehr nettes Lokal. Frühstück gut. Bezahlung in bar (so wie angezeigt! Nur gab es kein Wechselgeld. Chef hatte auch keines!?!? Natürlich hätte ich auch mit Karte zahlen können. Bitte vorher dazusagen, Bargeld nur solange Vorrat für Wechselgeld reicht!

I had eaten my gyros with fries tastier. The meat wasn't served very warm and the fries were too soft for my taste. The tzatziki was ok with garlic. The waitresses are nice and have a lot to do.

Mein Gyros mit Pommes hatte ich schon schmackhafter gegessen. Das Fleisch wurde nicht sehr warm serviert und die Pommes waren für mein Geschmack zu weich. Das Zaziki war mit Knoblauch in Ordnung. Die Bedienungen sind nett und haben viel zu tun.

I haven't had such good service in a long time. We didn't have a reservation and were still able to get a table on the weekend. Very pleasant atmosphere and very attentive, but not hectic, service. We recommend!
