It was our first time there, and let me start by saying: The food was good! However, the service was really bad. It took at least 20 minutes or more before we were allowed to order drinks. When we ordered more drinks, nothing ever came. I had to go to the counter myself to get the bill. And the restaurant wasn't even full. Pretty much the worst service I've experienced in a long time. What a shame!

I got something slightly different than what I ordered (wedges instead of fried potatoes), but the waiter noticed it right away as he walked around, and I personally thought the wedges were tastier. Cocktails were great. Food was great. Definitely worth a visit.

We ate there as part of the half-board package and were so disappointed! The entire food offering (buffet) for four days consisted of convenience products. The taste was completely bland and the seasoning was poor (or even less so). On three days, the meat dishes were served with the same (packet) sauce, and on two days, the fish dishes were served with the same sauce. Some of the filling side dishes didn't go well with either the meat or the fish. The soups were obviously canned or made with powder, at least judging by the taste, and the dishes were back on the buffet two days later, in a different form. And all of this for a €29.50 half-board surcharge. Not recommended at all! - If the à la carte menu is also "cooked" like this, the prices there are even more exorbitant!

Am Bocksberg 1This hotel doesn't meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. While everything is clean, some items are showing their age or renovations aren't fully completed (like the window frames). Breakfast is adequate, enough to get by. However, dinner is a complete disaster. On two out of three evenings, the food wasn't even cafeteria-quality. I don't eat food that bland and tasteless in our cafeterias. And when you see the price, you're speechless (you can get a steak for that elsewhere). The selection is also very limited. Oh, and don't criticize every single employee at reception. They're generally very friendly, but some can be downright rude.

Wöltingerode 30After a long time, I finally had a delicious schnitzel again, at the Klosterkrug. The service was friendly and courteous, and the food was delicious, as always. See you soon :)

Okerstraße 27We dined here for the first time today and will definitely be back. We haven't had such a delicious meal in a long time. The staff is very friendly, and all the dishes are prepared quickly and freshly.
