Very friendly and helpful staff, and super family-friendly. My Künefe was absolutely delicious ❤️❤️❤️ Unfortunately, I had to share it with others. 😄 No one at the table could resist.

I definitely do not recommend it. I bought baklava the other day, the syrup was already stretching when I put it from the tray into the box, I tasted it at home and it was spoiled. I took it back, the employee there turned to me with his eyes bulging, almost beat me with anger, he raised his voice and scolded me, gave me his money and told the employees there that it is forbidden to sell baklava to this woman again, he said to me that you cannot buy baklava from here anymore. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. My heart is broken and I have definitely decided not to go there again. I wish them unprofitable earnings.

I love the baklava, it's simply divinely delicious. A Turkish mocha with it puts a smile on your face. Kudos to everyone for the friendly service. We'll definitely stop by for breakfast sometime.

I bought a complete cake for the second time and carefully transported it home, on foot! The entire fondant was completely destroyed all around. When I called the restaurant to ask questions, I was constantly redirected and asked to send photos. Whatever I did - to tell me after several phone calls - it was my own fault. I am beyond shocked by this service. It wasn't even as warm outside as one might think - it was just too warm. At the end - they just hung up - I'm at a loss for words!!! No response via WhatsApp or anything similar. 1000% NOT recommended.

Were there for breakfast. It was a buffet. Very tasty and fresh. However, we didn't know that we could just help ourselves without announcing ourselves in advance, like you usually do at a Chinese restaurant with a buffet. (First someone comes, you say how many people and drink.) That's why we sat for a few minutes until I observed other new guests simply helping themselves. Right, I could have spoken to someone... Unfortunately not. One saw us, despite repeated eye contact, she didn't want to understand, I think, that she should come please and the other just moved something back and forth (was working, no front) and so she couldn't see us. Despite the service, I would have breakfast there again. However, I now know that I won't get any friendliness or service there.

Everything in the store is delicious

I was there for the open breakfast 2 times. The taste is pretty good, the Variaty is ok. The dessert is verry yummy. But unfortunately the second time i found a worm in the rocket salad while eating, whice was very disgusting. They offer dessert with the breakfast Buffet but you’de better to go early because if you went after 12 you will probably find only Baklava.

Unfortunately disappointing! The visit was a disappointment. The dessert I bought to take away was spoiled - absolutely inedible. The service was unfriendly and seemed annoyed. There is also a lot of catching up to do when it comes to hygiene: both the table and the seat of the chair were wiped with the same cloth - that's not possible! The Katmer was a disaster and the cream was nothing like what you know or expect. Definitely not a place I will visit again.

I was eating there today with my mother and father. We hadn't had breakfast yet, so we decided to have breakfast at Damla. As soon as you come in you can take a plate and put whatever you want on the plate and you can also take it with you. What really annoyed me was the plate there was probably 5-8 kilos. That was really heavy for a plate. What also annoyed me was that no one told us anything, including the employees who worked there. Nobody served us at least you can come and ask how you are or even say welcome to Damla! I can recommend for people who maybe don't like meat, in the far left corner there was pasta casserole with broccoli and believe me, that was a really awesome sauce. If I had known that, I would have just put some on it and I also put three pieces of sarma on my plate, that was the best. Next time I go there again, I'll just have the pasta casserole and nothing more sarma 😅🤪 There were three of us, we could always take tea outside and you can also drink in there. We didn't pay that much either. I didn't know you could drink so much çay. Next time I'll stay outside for 1-2 hours and only drink çay 🤣🤗

Were there yesterday. Got a baklava for €45 a kilo. (sarma) Damla is no longer what it was. Just bad! And the waitress says "it looks like that because it's fresh" blah blah blah

Went there with my husband last night to get something to take away. Our order was taken straight away, but somehow it wasn't taken care of afterwards and workers just stood there while we were waiting instead of preparing our order. When paying, nothing was typed into the cash register, just a price was said, and when you asked for the receipt, the employee looked annoyed and then typed everything into the cash register. The store was too crowded, you were sitting too close to people sitting next to you, everything was too narrow, and there was no privacy. The volume in the store is so loud that you can't even have a conversation. We ordered Katmer with ice cream, I was shocked by what was served to us. I have often eaten Katmer in other shops and know what it looks and tastes like. Here it looks completely different, tastes different too, way too greasy. Don't be fooled by the pictures in the store, you definitely won't get what is shown in the photo in the menu.

I was in the restaurant this morning and unfortunately noticed some deficiencies. The soup was cold, as was the tea, and the service left much to be desired. Unfortunately the entire experience was disappointing. I ask you to check who works there and to ensure better quality of the equipment.

Where do I start? Soup that comes in plastic with no head or leg in it? Is it the water that you offer for iftar and ask for the price of it, the sullen faces of those waiters except for one girl, the lahmacun that is not meat... the card tool that has been out of order for a week... the fact that no one comes when you write reservations at every table... I won't come again... That's why the shop is empty even during Ramadan... You made me write this....

I would definitely recommend it .Extensive, varied buffet with all kinds of delicacies for brunch. Unfortunately there is a lot of draft and a bit cold, so dress warmly in winter, even indoors. Cozy atmosphere. Service is friendly, but not overly attentive. If you like Turkish cuisine, you're in good hands there. Turkish Çay is very tasty. There are a lot of Turkish treats to buy at the counter at the exit.

We visited Damla in Ehrenfeld. Ambience less appealing with bright lights but künefe and baklava were delicious. The prices are a bit expensive but sometimes affordable.

Food os ok. if you go for branch especially a bit late some items are finished and will not be refilled but you paid the full amout. At evenings some young guys are running the shop but they are sometimes careless about the orders and customers

Today we made a reservation for 6 people with the family and explicitly mentioned that we would be coming with 2 strollers and 3 children. Everything was confirmed, of course, and we hadn't even arrived yet. There are only 2 high chairs and we wouldn't have said that we would be coming with 3 children? Well... no matter we all wanted to have breakfast at the buffet and no matter what we ate, the food was terrible, we couldn't eat any of it and we still had to pay the entire price for it - just outrageous for such a big name like damla! We'll never come back, it's a real shame and sad! We paid €100 and no one left the store feeling full, neither did anyone accommodate us or accommodate us. We didn't enjoy anything from this all you can eat/drink service!

All in all, it's a rather old-fashioned café/restaurant. Künefe tastes ok. I can't recommend Katmer. The service is great, but I wouldn't come again.

I was there with a few friends for breakfast (€15.50/person including tea). The selection was large, a lot of it was homemade and almost everything was fresh. There were various pasta/bread products, cheese, sausage, olives, pickled vegetables, pastes, honey, jam, Nutella, yogurt, egg dishes, sweet desserts and a delicious lentil soup. The soup was very good and so were the homemade pastes and stuffed breads. I only didn't eat the sweet dessert (a kind of tiramisu) because it was very solid (dried) on top of the cream and tasted slightly sour (too old?), which I found unpleasant. I found the selection to be very fair for the price. I would have liked a few more explanations about things that I couldn't immediately understand, but the waitress was nice and helped with questions. You have to order (drinks and pay) at the counter. There was no condition at the table. After a long time the empty plates were cleared away once. We would probably have ordered more drinks if we had been served at the table, but that's not a big deal either and self-service, with its advantages and disadvantages, can be a corporate philosophy. The ambience is a matter of taste. I'm not a fan of bright neon lights. I wouldn't describe the facility as comfortable. We still had a good time there and were full. So please do it again.

The place we will go as a family

Went there 2 weeks ago and weren't received well at all. We just wanted to sit at a table that was a little higher, and an employee came and said that we couldn't sit there because it was reserved. But there was no sign put up. We sat down Then sat at another table but didn't think it was professional. That's why we wouldn't go there again.

I recently had breakfast at this restaurant and overall I was very satisfied. The selection of dishes was varied and everything tasted very good. I particularly thought the tea was excellent – ​​it was aromatic and prepared just right. One small point of improvement: the warm dishes could have been a little hotter. I often go there with my friends, but for the first time I'm leaving a review :) Everything is very tasty and beautiful, but the music is really annoying. People come to talk and chat, but the music is sometimes so loud that it's really disturbing.

The breakfast buffet costs €15.50. There are hearty warm and cold dishes and also a small selection of desserts. Hot foods are sometimes very oily and could be better kept warm. Cold, hearty salads, spreads and the like were no longer all fresh and some already tasted sour. It's nice that fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce are available. There was a very small selection of pastries. As for sweets, there was baklava, rice pudding, pieces of cake and more. It tasted okay, but everything wasn't quite fresh anymore. But there is great jam! And even cornflakes. You can always pour yourself tea. There is also lentil soup. The service was good.

The warm dishes and savory items at the breakfast buffet were very tasty, but unfortunately the bread and desserts weren't at all 😥 I wouldn't go there again...

On June 25th, 2024 I had dinner with a group. The taste was bad, the food was too oily and the bread was dry. Many dishes were empty. For 15 euros it wasn't worth it, worth 5 euros at most. Overall not recommended.

Very tasty dessert at proud prices

We went to Damla for delicious dessert as it is highly praised by some people. Well, everyone has different expectations and has different experiences. I think this store is definitely overrated!! Ambiance is attractively beautiful. However, this store was built so carelessly that the employees are constantly running back and forth to serve the guests and this creates a commotion in the store that was almost unbearable but then the guests came too... the noise level was already there at the attack. Some people have definitely not heard of a quiet and comfortable way to go out. In the end we could hardly stand it any longer and got out again in no time. The prices are mega expensive. We know enough places and can compare the prices very well... They are definitely off the charts here. In terms of taste, some of the selection we made was good. As much as we sometimes like to turn a blind eye and don't necessarily want to harm the operators and give the next best rating... We can't make a recommendation for Damla. And as always, we point out that our feelings/experience is a snapshot and everyone should still feel free to collect their own experience.

The only thing warm at the breakfast buffet at 9 a.m. is the tea and the ready-made soup. The food tastes stale and like it was from the day before. The service is very friendly. I wouldn't recommend anyone to have breakfast here for 15.50 euros. Not worth it at all.

Update from April 14th, 2024: Breakfast buffet, as always, delicious and opulent, would be happy again at any time. ... for €15.50 Update from January 15, 2023: Breakfast buffet, everything freshly and deliciously prepared, there is something for every taste, anyone who knows it will be full all day and for €13.70... We have a Mercimek lentil soup, a vegetarian pide, a minced meat pide and ate a freshly made Künefe with ice cream….Künefe was of course a dream. Otherwise we were often here in the morning for the breakfast buffet, which is mega opulent and fills you up all day 😂
