Very friendly service; they prepared food for us even though they were officially closed. The waiters were very nice, and Mexican food is very underrated in Germany! The prices might be a bit high, but all in all, I give it 5 stars!

It's a shame that such a beautifully decorated restaurant serves such mediocre food. I had the spare ribs (I was hoping for a nice, large, shiny rib) but got three small, pale, pre-cooked pieces of meat on the bone, stacked on top of each other. Not really worth the name "spare ribs." My wife had a trio of fajitas, burritos, and enchiladas. They were ice cold and soggy because we were in a hurry, but we finished them. When the waitress came to tell us, no action was taken. All in all, mediocre to poor food in a beautiful location. A real shame.

This review refers to the Loco Pollo Tenders, Spare Rib Bites, Chili Chicken Wings, Macho Nachos, and Cheeselover Burger. The photos are unfortunately a bit dark due to the lighting at the table that evening. The food was really delicious and served piping hot, unlike other reviews where it was served cold or lukewarm. The burger is very substantial, juicy, and very well seasoned. The chicken wings were also juicy and not overly chili-seasoned. Personally, I would have liked a bit more. But that's a matter of taste. The Macho Nachos are a very large portion for the price. The price-performance ratio is acceptable. The burger is quite expensive and could be €2-3 cheaper compared to Freddy Schilling or other similar establishments. The service was quick and courteous. Both the drinks and the food arrived promptly. No long wait. Anyone using a Yovite voucher will encounter a problem if they don't spend the full amount. The remaining balance is forfeited. However, this is beyond the owner's control, as he didn't sign the contracts. This happened during our visit yesterday. We then bought a salad to take with us for the next day so the money wouldn't be lost. The dressing was also packaged separately in containers. Furthermore, the owner offered us a complimentary cake, which was very kind and thoughtful, to make up for the inconvenience, for which he unfortunately had no control.

Only one star because, unfortunately, zero isn't an option. An absolute disaster. The drinks were already wrong, and it only got worse. The place was half empty, not busy at all. After waiting for 1.5 hours, and despite asking several times, the food arrived wrong and cold. The meat wasn't medium-rare, but well-done and so cold it looked like it had never been cooked. When we asked if we could please inform the kitchen, as it was inedible, the only response was: "That takes too long." When we went to pay, the manager came over and was completely unprofessional. Instead of trying to cheer us up, he simply said: "Your food arrived, but you sent it back." His passive-aggressive attitude was the icing on the cake. I'd rather starve than almost be back there again, and I advise NO ONE to visit this restaurant.

I am truly disappointed with my visit. We had invited guests from out of town and were looking forward to a pleasant evening – unfortunately, it turned into a complete embarrassment. The food didn't arrive for an hour and a half and was, on top of that, cold and inedible. Even the waitress apologized and confirmed that the food was unacceptable and ice-cold. According to her, a new order would have taken even longer. When we addressed the situation with the manager, he reacted extremely unprofessionally, passive-aggressively, and disrespectfully, instead of trying to find a solution. Such behavior is completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. In short: poor service, disastrous organization, and a disrespectful attitude towards guests. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Very nice event restaurant with a great ambiance, a great setting with the adjacent Motorworld! My husband ordered a burger with chorizzo, it came without chorizzo, but it was delicious! The friendly waitress took the half-eaten plate away. Unfortunately, the chorizzo was out, so they offered him a burger with bacon and brought him a new dish. Very tasty dishes and very friendly service! He was also given a 50% discount on his dish! My taco was also delicious!! We have only positive things to report; even when something doesn't work out, they are very accommodating! Wishing you much success, you deserve it!

We were at El Carrito today. The staff was super friendly, as always! We love you all! But today, one of the managers was there who clearly exceeded his leadership authority. He had no experience in this area! He insulted the staff in front of the guests! This is completely unacceptable!! Does this person think this way? Would he want to be treated this way? This behavior is abysmally awful! You should be ashamed of yourself!!! Be happy to have such highly motivated staff! I wish you would never have a manager like that!

Great food, great restaurant! I'm always a bit skeptical about restaurants at venues like Motorworld, but we were definitely pleasantly surprised and would gladly return. (We definitely want to try the breakfast, too.)

Today we were guests in a large group of about 60 people. We received excellent service, the food was delicious, and both the waitresses and the chefs were very attentive and prompt. Special mention goes to the bartender, Alex, who impressed us with his courteous manner, empathetic communication, and excellent drinks. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening!

I've been here for dinner every time I stay at the V8 Hotel for business. Excellent service, super friendly staff, and the food is consistently absolutely delicious and highly recommended! Mexican Sushi - Flamed Salmon - an absolute favorite snack! You guys are great! Keep it up! See you soon :)

Nine of us ate here. You can eat outside or inside. The selection is extensive, whether vegetarian or meat-based, there's something for everyone. The food arrived quickly and was very good. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. It's a quiet area, so you can sit outside and relax.

From disappointed to delighted – a strong comeback! Our first evening was unfortunately disappointing: The kitchen closed shortly after our arrival, and our request was met with little flexibility. Communication was limited, and we had to order food from outside. The early checkout at 11:30 p.m. also dampened the mood. What a shame – not a great start. BUT: The next day, things completely changed. The entire team was attentive, friendly, and extremely dedicated. Even if it took a little longer in some places, it wasn't a problem at all – because everything else was perfect. What was particularly nice: We were even offered the opportunity to order something even after the bar had officially closed. THAT'S service! The atmosphere was good, the people were friendly, and the overall experience was absolutely positive. Kudos to the team for this great turnaround – turning a bad start into a successful stay!

We spent a weekend at the V8 Hotel with the whole family. We sat and chatted, ate, drank coffee, and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening. BECAUSE the service here was simply incredibly friendly, whether it was bringing the third decaf coffee with a smile at breakfast in the morning or checking to make sure everyone was still getting their fill at dinner. The food was consistently of good quality, and the coffee was excellent. We'd love to come back and highly recommend it!

I used to eat dinner here quite often. The food was a 9/10 and the price was right, as was the friendly service. However, since the recent change of ownership, the quality has unfortunately declined. For example, the sushi used to be served on a large plate and was a decent portion for around €16. Now it's four small makis on a small plate, of lower quality and with only a small price difference for what you get. The other dishes have also declined significantly since the change. In my opinion, it's no longer what it used to be, which is a shame, because the ambiance, the location, and especially the staff were and still are outstanding! I would love to come back more often, but under the circumstances, the anticipation quickly fades...

We were here again a few days ago. It was delicious again. Vegetarian burritos and vegetarian farrita, along with a large portion of fries and chicken nuggets. Everything was very, very tasty. The service was also very polite and attentive. I can't complain. Everything was perfect. We were there today around 5:30 p.m. Service was very attentive and quick. The food was delicious. The rice with black beans was extremely well seasoned. And the fried corn on the cob. Delicious!! The ambiance is particularly nice in the evenings. Great lighting, comfortable seating. In the summer, I imagine a playground on the lawn right next door would be great. Practical when you're sitting on the patio and the kids are busy. Just a little suggestion! 😉 The music could be a bit quieter.

We were there with a large group of 29 people and were completely satisfied. The service was superbly organized and always friendly and attentive – something you can't take for granted with so many people. What was particularly pleasant was that the chef was very kind and took care of us personally. The food was really good – fresh, delicious, and something for every taste. Everything arrived promptly and at the same time, which isn't easy with such a large group. We all felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. Highly recommended!

Very long waiting times, waiting 20 minutes for water after complaining that the rice was totally over salted. Tacos arrived cold. Nobody cared or cared. Service really poor

Very bad service and unfriendly operation. When we asked to be moved to another table because ours was wobbling badly, the response was annoyed and accusatory. After we waited almost an hour for our drinks and we brought this up, they simply replied snidely that it couldn't have been a whole hour, as if that would have changed anything about the criticism. We then decided to leave and instead of getting an apology we were simply ignored by the waitress. Maybe the young blonde lady should think again about whether customer service is really for her.

There were five of us there that evening. Service was great, very attentive and quick and also responded to special requests. The food tasted good, but they had one thing to “complain about”: everything arrived at our table at most lukewarm, which is not so great, especially with steak. Nevertheless, we would come back if we were in MOTORWORLD anyway, but we wouldn't go there specifically for this restaurant.

Zunächst mal war die Speisekarte eine andere als im Internet, da die Ceviche (wollten wir eigentlich) und Tortillapizza Sachen nicht angeboten wurden. Wir hatten hatten dann als Vorspeise Karaage Chicken + Spare Ribs bestellt und als Hauptspeise 3 verschiedene Quesadilla (1 Gericht) und 1 x Beef Burrito. Alle Gerichte kamen auf einmal und vor allem die Burrito war viel zu trocken. Die 3 Punkte sind nur wegen der Bedienung. Vom Essen wären es 2 Punkte gewesen.

Unfortunately this time it was an absolute disappointment. The quesadilla was a tiny flatbread filled with a little cheese-like stuff, no beans or salsa just a little guacamole. But the waiting time was long. The price is now outrageous. We weren't the only ones who complained, no excuses. In addition, you can hardly get to the actually huge parking lot because it is always used for other purposes and you have to go further away to a gravel parking lot where you cannot pay the expensive fees on site but only at the machines at Motorworld. For me it was the last time, I think it's the same for many people, I noticed a lot of dissatisfaction.

Good selection of food and drinks. The food wasn't cheap, but very tasty. We had Quesadilla (vegetarian) and the BBQ Pulled Beef Burger as shown in the photos. The drinks could be a little cheaper. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was pretty empty, probably normal for a Monday evening. If the weather is good you can also sit on the terrace. The facility is in the style of the Rally Panamericana. The music was a bit too loud for me, but otherwise it was a very pleasant stay!

Mexican restaurant in Cologne's Motorworld with a thematically appropriate ambience. The food is authentic Mexican and we enjoyed it very much. A good quality rib eye steak with perfect cooking. However, it could have been a little hotter. The prices are slightly higher at Motorworld.

Great ambience, great interior, huge food and drink menu and an extra weekly menu with additional dishes and cocktails. Very attentive, friendly service! Our cocktails were great and the food we ordered came fresh, warm and tasty in a reasonable time frame. We were there around 9pm during the week and had no problem getting a table without a reservation. On the weekend, however, it might be advisable to reserve a table in order to go to No. to be sure. A visit is definitely recommended. Even better if you combine it with the free exhibition in Motorworld beforehand

Unfortunately, I hardly have anything good to report: cold food, no changes possible because it was already pre-prepared, carelessly designed food (Ceasar salad consisted of a lettuce heart cut into three parts), sometimes unfriendly (and certainly understaffed) staff. Since the restaurant is not spatially separated from the “lobby”/entrance area and the restaurant area itself had extremely high seating, the noise level was enormous. I wasn't expecting particularly high-quality food or an exceptional ambience, but unfortunately I can't recommend the restaurant. - All in all, more of a fast food place than a restaurant, not a place to linger.

Very good, varied breakfast buffet.

It usually starts with a visit to IKEA - we usually arrive there shortly before noon, and after shopping we go to the IKEA restaurant. But this time I didn't feel like köttbullar or chicken schnitzel, so I explored the area via the Internet while my wife explored the exhibition at IKEA. Almost just around the corner, I chose El Carrito. It is located in Motorworld. The menu made a good impression, so we took the risk. The facility is a little motorsport-focused, but comfortable. It was quiet (as a hearing aid user, this is often an important aspect) - perhaps also because there weren't that many guests present. We chose an Ensalda El Carrito, half a Piri Piri Chicken and a Matador Burger. The food was prepared with fresh ingredients and tasted excellent - we really enjoyed the entire stay and went back to the Eifel feeling refreshed. We'll definitely stop by here again - it's more expensive, but also a lot better than the restaurant at IKEA. And: basically around the corner.

The service was super nice and the atmosphere was really great! Unfortunately, our food wasn't good at all. We had 2 starters. The tunatatar already looked gray and was unfortunately also salty. The ceviche lacked everything that makes a ceviche. It was well presented but unfortunately that was where it ended. Maybe just a blip but unfortunately yesterday really wasn't good!

Wir waren das erste Mal in diesem Restaurant. Wir waren angetan von dieser Location. Wirklich eine tolle Atmosphäre. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt, Getränke wurden aufgenommen und nachdem die Getränke kamen, haben wir das Essen bestellt. Nach über 1 Stunde haben wir nachgefragt, wann denn das Essen kommen würde. Nach Rücksprache in der Küche kam es dann nach weiteren 10 Minuten. Das Essen war ok, nicht überragend, aber was wir als unverschämt angesehen haben, waren die Preise für Ketchup und Majo. Diese wurden uns bei der Bestellung zusätzlich zu den Burgern angeboten. Wir bekamen daraufhin jeweils ein kleines Schüsselchen (vielleicht großer Esslöffel voll). Die Menge hat auf jeden Fall nicht gereicht. Kostenpunkt: € 1,00/Schüsselchen. Weiterhin hatten wir als Vorspeise Nachos mit Guacamole. Auf die Frage hin, ob wir eine etwas größere Portion haben wollten, haben wir mit JA geantwortet. Das was kam, war eine mittlere Portion für über € 20,-. Mein Fazit: Nicht wirklich gut, zu teuer und man hat das Gefühl, dass man abgezockt wurde.

It doesn't work at all... :-( We had reserved a table for 5:45 p.m. and thought we had more than enough time for a nice dinner before the event started at 7:30 p.m. We had the drinks quickly, but unfortunately not the food. After waiting 50 minutes, I went to the service and pointed out that we didn't have much time left. I was told that I should wait at the table and that a solution would be found. Nothing happens. After another 15 minutes we canceled the order. There was no apology, just the information that the place was full and everyone else wanted to go to the event...In fact, we weren't the only ones who had to leave the place hungry. I certainly understand when things go wrong, but not when you just naturally charge the guests for their drinks and obviously don't see any problems in the situation. It's not about satisfied guests at all, it's just about feeding as many people as possible. And if the kitchen doesn't manage it, the guests are just out of luck...

We had ordered a table for 6 p.m. The food was still not there at 7:15 p.m. because of poor service, the "boss" was totally overwhelmed, unfriendly and cheeky, it can't be that one person "boss" only takes in the food and can pay for it Overwhelmed. So we looked at Sister Act without food and there were guests who came later and had already received their food, so if the kitchen or the great chef made any mistakes, I will never enter the shop again and I am myself from the catering industry since 30 years

Overall, I've eaten here a few times. Great and exciting dishes, very tasty and tasty. I can only say good things here. Quality is high and the selection of food is definitely much more sophisticated than other "Texmex" places. The ambience is also very pleasant and suitable for the Motorworld location. Unfortunately after 1 hour 15 minutes we still haven't received the food we ordered. It was extremely cold. Drinks arrived after more than half an hour. Not recommended in terms of service. I can't comment on the food.

What a uniquely cool location to dine... and so stylish in terms of presentation...suitable for Pan-American/Mexican cuisine...great menu...creative and delicious dishes that you don't get from everyone Corner finds...from the starters/tapas to the main courses, right up to the dessert...everything is very authentic, well seasoned, the meat is juicy...praise to the kitchen...there is also a fresh Estrella Galicia beer on tap...the service is very attentive...fast...not pushy and casual...everything fits perfectly...so: brilliant gastronomy that is second to none...it's definitely worth another visit. ..especially since you can stroll through Motorworld from there...but the parking fee thing should be reconsidered...a credit from the restaurant would make sense...otherwise it will ultimately cost customers...

We had dinner there for the Christmas buffet. The service was really very good and the food was delicious too. We made reservations in advance. The only thing that is unfortunately still a bit difficult is the parking situation.

We waited an hour for food that didn't taste good. I ordered quesedillas and got a kilo of sour cream slapped on them. I ordered the vegetarian version and had chicken on the plate... Ambiance was good and waitress was friendly.

Unprofessional and risky to health – unfortunately disappointing Unfortunately, I have had very bad experiences and would like to point out that this restaurant should urgently work on training its staff and implementing its labels. I live vegan (by choice) and have celiac disease - an autoimmune disease in which even the smallest amounts of gluten cause massive damage to my health. This is not a fad, but a serious medical necessity. Day 1: Incorrect allergen information I ordered the Mexican Bowl, which was labeled as vegan, and specifically asked if it was gluten-free. The answer was a resounding yes. Unfortunately, I woke up the next day with severe stomach pain. After asking again and looking at the allergen list, it turned out that the dish did contain gluten. This is irresponsible and, in my opinion, borders on physical harm. The staff also had little information about celiac disease and didn't understand why my food should be served separately. However, this is what I expect from a restaurant that offers allergen-friendly options. As if that wasn't enough, we had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to come after we asked to pay. Day 2: Another faux pas I decided to give the restaurant another chance and ordered a vegan labeled salad. I specifically asked for it to be prepared separately. The salad was served separately, but with feta (!) - on a vegan dish. This is unacceptable. Not to mention that the salad with five green leaves, two slices of cucumber and two pieces of tomato was completely overpriced at €10. At least it was positive that the salad was gluten-free this time - but that's probably the least. Conclusion The person in charge was friendly and offered to offer a meal on the house on a next visit. However, given what happened, I would have expected to be reimbursed for the last two days. The staff was nice, but that alone isn't enough if neither the labels nor the information about allergies and dietary requirements are implemented correctly. Two stars - unfortunately I can't give it more.

The food was great and I can only recommend going there if you are in Cologne. The walk through the car world has a nice atmosphere. Really recommended.

Service very nice. Interesting map. Had a burger that was very tasty, but the fries were cold. They would have been delicious warm too. The ambience is sola and could be more comfortable. Otherwise I would come again because the burger was so good. ;)

Became my favorite restaurant - prices a bit expensive, but service etc. top!

Expectations were clearly exceeded. Staff friendly, professional and always there when you needed them. The cocktails strong and delicious. The food......best Mexican in town

Habíamos reservado una mesa en este restaurante para ir después de preguntarse por Motorworld. Era muy tranquilo en el restaurante con pocos clientes y no había personal a la vista cuando llegamos, así que nos servimos una mesa. Los dos miembros del personal que estaban allí, eran amables y serviciales. Pedimos algunos cócteles que eran muy agradables, pero desafortunadamente cuando nuestra comida llegó nos quedamos bastante decepcionados. También era bastante caro para lo que se obtiene. Comprar quesadillas costaba alrededor de 13€ pero añadir pollo costaba otros 6 - 7€ que se sentía bastante caro. Cuando el plato llegó parecía que el pollo acaba de ser tirado en el lado del plato (ni siquiera en las quesadillas) que estaba un poco apagado - poner. Cuando estábamos comiendo vimos dos viejos Porsches conseguir rodar a través del restaurante que era genial!

The food was decent, and prices also decent. But the service was very slow, even when almost empty restaurant.

We ate there for the first time or picked up the food. Unfortunately the burgers were all raw, not medium rare but raw. Fries were something different and really good, hence 2 stars. Piri chicken is okay, but €80 for 3 burgers with fries and half a chicken of this quality is really cheeky, no recommendation.

Service friendly, food is absolutely nothing. Soggy tacos, strange sauce combinations on taco and bao bun. You don't get extra hot sauce in a Latin American restaurant... so much money for bad food. Next time I'd rather have a bratwurst
