We found it delicious, the location is great, and above all, it's very child-friendly! Service was a bit slow but very friendly, though not as negative as portrayed.

I had to wait 1 hour for a single French fry, that's way too long!

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience on a Friday evening. We arrived around 8 p.m. with a larger group (about 9 people) and ordered food. Unfortunately, we had to wait over an hour and 10 minutes for our food. When we asked after about 50 minutes how long it might take, we were simply told that the kitchen was working as it pleased – no apology, no assessment. It wasn't busy either. When the food finally arrived, it was unfortunately just as disappointing. The burrito (see photo) had a fresh salad, but contained beans – which wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu. Had I known that, I wouldn't have ordered it. My partner's Thai curry tasted more like a creamy fricassee than a curry. After such a long wait, this was truly disappointing for us. Conclusion: We wouldn't go back.

The food and drinks are a bit overpriced. The location is cool, but the service is often overwhelmed and at times downright unfriendly. Not particularly child-friendly either! A shame, considering what it's supposed to be.

The ambiance seems quite nice, but we can't rate the food. We attended the Indonesian Festival and wanted to order a drink. Even though there were several free tables, it was already 2 p.m. (so not really lunchtime anymore), and ALL the other guests were just having drinks, we were very rudely informed that we weren't allowed to sit down with food. It didn't matter if we ordered a drink... I can understand that on one hand, but on the other hand, they could have simply reserved a few tables for guests who wanted to order food AND said so in a friendly manner. What a shame!

We were at this restaurant/bar and the experience was very unpleasant. We had ordered several beers and drinks there, but an employee came to scold us because a friend was drinking coffee from the market next door. We understand that every establishment has its own rules, but the way he spoke to us was disrespectful and unnecessarily aggressive. Instead of being friendly and professional, he did so in an intimidating manner, using phrases like "you don't want to have any problems with me." This is not acceptable treatment toward customers who were actually consuming at the establishment. 👉 I do not recommend it due to the poor service and disrespectful attitude of the staff.

The restaurant has a lovely terrace in the courtyard of the old fire station. The service was initially quick and attentive. Over the course of the evening, this deteriorated considerably. We weren't asked if we wanted more, nor were we satisfied with the food. The food (chicken schnitzel from the daily special for €17) was unfortunately of the snack-bar variety—convenience food from a deep fryer. Overall, our group wasn't impressed. Only the salad was quite good. I might come back for a drink, but not for dinner.

Always worth a visit! The restaurant is run with love, and you can feel it at every turn. The menu has something for everyone, and the service is excellent. The beer garden in the courtyard of the old fire station is unique!

We had to wait just over an hour for our food. The food, unfortunately, didn't taste good enough for the long wait. During our meal, the staff didn't even stop by to ask for drinks. Apart from that, there was a general lack of friendliness and hospitality. We didn't feel welcome.

After a long walk we wanted to take a short break in the restaurant. The design of the restaurant was beautifully decorated with art pictures with a beautiful lantern on the table. However, I was missing some decorative paint on the large tables that are designed for many people. Unfortunately, after 25 minutes we still weren't served, even though we paid attention and the service looked in our direction several times. There wasn't much going on in the restaurant that would have justified the waiting time. We left after 25 minutes without eating anything, so unfortunately I can't rate the food.

Nice alternative setting. Especially in summer when you can sit in the courtyard. I always enjoy being there!

Es hat sich in letzter Zeit viel getan um die alte Feuerwache im Agnesviertel herum. Der Platz erstrahlt in neuem viel gelungenerem Glanz und einiges wurde bautechnisch renoviert oder ganz neu erbaut. Da wäre es doch toll, wenn das dazugehörige Restaurant ( welches während der Restaurierungsarbeiten sicher keine leichte Zeit hatte) wieder an alte Qualitätsmaßstäbe anknüpfen könnte.- Wir waren gestern dort, tranken einige Tassen leckeren Julius-Meinl- Kaffee, ein paar wohltemperierte Golden Kölsch und einen vegetarischen Flammkuchen. Letzterer war allerdings äußerst schwach in jeder Beziehung . Das muss besser werden. Und die Sanitärräume ( für Männer) wären in der Bronx stilecht, nicht aber im schönen Agnesviertel. Der Service ist freundlich, die Preise moderat und die Bäume von früher alle erhalten geblieben! Gute Ansätze...

A lot has happened recently around the old fire station in the Agnesviertel. The square shines in a much more beautiful new splendor, and several buildings have been renovated or completely rebuilt. It would be great if the attached restaurant (which certainly had a tough time during the restoration work) could return to its former quality standards. We were there yesterday and drank a few cups of delicious Julius Meinl coffee, a couple of well-tempered Golden Kölsch beers, and a vegetarian tarte flambée. The latter, however, was extremely weak in every respect. That has to be improved. And the restrooms (for men) would be in keeping with the style in the Bronx, but not in the beautiful Agnesviertel. The service is friendly, the prices are moderate, and all the old trees have been preserved! Good ideas...

There are only a few places where you truly feel at home - places that tell stories, where deep relationships are formed, food is prepared with love and thought for guests and art acts like a breath of fresh air.

We were here with a larger group. The food was extremely tasty and the menu and prices were absolutely ok. What I personally didn't like was the service. The good gentleman was quite bossy. Certainly large groups are sometimes a little more difficult, but I wouldn't say that with us. But friendly service is something else

Es ist ein angenehmer Ort. Zwar ist es recht voll an einigen Tagen, doch die Besucher*innen sind meistens sehr rücksichtsvoll zueinander und daher stört es nicht. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Ein toller Ort ist auch die alte Feuerwache - viele gute Kulturangebote. Ich freue mich jedes Mal hier zu sein.

I think the place has gone downhill. The portions are small, the food is often poor, and the coffee and cake don't really taste good. The waiters are often moody. I still really like the atmosphere and the art on display.

We were here with about 30 people. We sat at different tables. Everyone ordered at the same time, but the food was reserved table by table. That means we had to wait about 30 minutes per table. We had 4 tables. So we waited a very long time for the food. For groups, they only accept large drinks as 0.5 for 5€ for example. A cola, a small drink doesn't work for whatever reason. When the food finally came, I and the others were surprised by the small amount. The broccoli at one meal wasn't cooked yet. For the price I would have liked to be full, but unfortunately I wasn't. On the positive side, the drinking itself is ok and the location is relatively chic. Otherwise I can't get anything out of it. You have to know.

The new outdoor terrace is very nice. We really liked the menu. Everything tasted 1a fresh and you could also see this freshness in the vegetables. Service was very attentive and everything was under control at all times. It was nice! See you next time. Best regards

We sought refuge after visiting a noisy Vietnamese restaurant around the corner and were not disappointed. The large hall is still impressive after many years, the relatively new furnishings of tables and chairs as well as the many plants strengthen the ambience. If the menu and wine list were a little more ambitious...; Everything would be perfect and we would meet here right at the beginning of the evening.

We celebrated a big birthday in the restaurant of the old fire station and were thrilled by the atmosphere, the food and the loving care from the planning to the celebration itself! We couldn't have imagined it to be more beautiful, many thanks to Mehmet Arat, the excellent cuisine and the whole team!

When we visited this restaurant during our lunch break, we were disappointed with the quality of the food. The food didn't meet our expectations of taste, and the rolls didn't seem fresh. In addition, the waiting time was unreasonably long at almost 45 minutes, without us being informed of this in advance. This experience led to our decision to avoid this restaurant in the future. Unfortunately, based on our personal experience, we can only give the price-performance ratio a very low rating and therefore recommend considering other locations.

Legendary chili con carne, delicious and recommended. We can also recommend the chicken fillet salad and the atmosphere and service are extremely child-friendly.

Ich habe Freunde getroffen und wir haben stundenlang geredet. Dabei haben wir lecker gegessen und getrunken. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und entspannt. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Ein rundum schöner Nachmittag. Ständig wechselnden Ausstellungen gehören hier auch dazu.

Am 23.7.2023 (während des Flohmarktes) habe ich in dem Restaurant was zu Essen bestellt. To go. Da an der Tür ein Zettel hing mit der Info, man könnte jedes Essen auch to go kriegen. Es war voll und viel zutun. Ich habe lange auf mein Essen warten müssen. Alles gut. Als mein Essen kam, fragte ich nach einmaligem Besteck, die Antwort war: Wir haben keins. Ich fragte daraufhin, wie Essen to go angeboten werden kann, ohne Besteck mitzugeben. Schließlich gibts es ja auch to go Becher und to go Boxen. Daraufhin kam sofort die Antwort, ich sollte doch mit dem Chef diskutieren und dem Kellner „nicht auf die Eier gehen“. Eine andere Kellnerin kriegte die Unterhaltung mit und gab mir plötzlich eine to go Gabel. Eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung, die ich da machen musste. So schnell würde ich nicht wiederkommen wollen. Stress ist verständlich. So eine Unhöflichkeit zu einem Gast meiner Meinung aber nicht.

Die Location ist vom Grundsatz her nicht schlecht. Ein großer Vorplatz mit Spielgeräten, damit man auch mit Kindern hingehen kann, ist super. Dafür gibt es einen Pluspunkt. Leider ist das Essen nicht so gut, wie die Location verspricht. Weder mein Lammkarree, noch das Curry meiner Frau, sind empfehlenswert. Der Espresso zum Schluss war ebenfalls, tut mir Leid, ich kann es nicht anders formulieren, grauenhaft. Daher zum Essen nicht zu empfehlen. Für ein Bierchen, während die Kinder spielen, lohnt es sich aber.

Das Essen ist okay. Die Bedienung kommt leider durcheinander bei größeren Gruppen. Aber die Umgebung ist super nice und man kann im Sommer draußen sitzen.

Kinder werden von den Kellnern mehrfach angerempelt, unfreundliches Personal, Bestellungen unvollständig, Essen lieblos auf den Teller gelegt und teilweise kalt.

Super Biergarten im Hof des Bürgerzentrums! Im Sommer echt toll. Drinnen ist es leider oft sehr laut.

Seit Jahren immer wieder ein netter Anlaufpunkt. Grosse sehr leckere Portionen, freundliche Bedienung und nette Ambiente.

Schönes Ambiente im Bistro-Stil in ehemaliger Feuerwache. Aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Aber alles ein wenig überteuert: zu kleine und leider nicht wirklich warme Heissgetränke (Kaffee und Kakao) und auch die Kuchenstücke fallen sehr klein aus.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal hier, aber ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal.

Das Lokal Alte Feuerwache ist aufgrund der kreativen Speisekarte immer einen Besuch wert. Die Speisekarte bietet viel Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Speisen, wie Ofenkartoffeln, Kürbis-Falafel und Flammkuchen, und es gibt auch Hafer- und Sojamilch zum Kaffee. Sowohl drinnen als auch draußen im ruhigen Innenhof ist reichlich Platz vorhanden. Alles bestens! 👍

Zum Essen kann ich leider (noch) nichts sagen, aber das Restaurant gilt als Treffpunkt im Veedel. Die Schule veranstaltet jährlich ein Musical im Gebäude, da waren die Restaurant Mitarbeiter bislang sehr hilfsbereit.

Nettes Lokal mit entspannter Atmosphäre. Der Service ist leider nicht so geil, nett ja, aber tendenziell überfordert, zumindest die letzten Male, als wir da waren. Zuletzt am Sonntag, wo wir 25 Minuten auf die Karte gewartet haben und dann halt wieder gegangen sind.

Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier in großer Runde in der Alten Feuerwache ausgerichtet. Die Organisation hat hervorragend geklappt, das Essen war sehr lecker (super Buffetvorschlag!!!), Getränke kamen immer zügig und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Ein dickes Lob und Dankeschön an alle Beteiligten!

Wir waren hier mit 60 Leuten zu unserer Firmenweihnachtsfeier. Wir hatten ein Super-Buffet , das von allen gelobt wurde. Begleitet wurde das Ganze durch einen Top-Service in schöner Atmosphäre. Daher ganz großes Dankeschön an Herrn Arat und sein tolles Service- und Küchenteam! Ihr habt dazu beitragen, dass unsere Weihnachtsfeier zu einem unvergesslichen Abend wurde. Jederzeit wieder!

Sehr schöne Location, mit sehr nettem Personal. Die Toilette super sauber, was mir sehr wichtig ist. Lediglich die Musik könnte etwas leiser sein. Bei den großen Tischen fällt es mitunter schwer zu hören was auf der anderen Seite gesprochen wird. Aber trotzdem immer wieder gerne.

Wir haben letzte Woche einen Workshop in der alten Feuerwache veranstaltet. Das Lokal hat uns mit Kaffeepausen und Mittagessen begleitet - und das sehr gut! Leckeres Essen, guter Kaffee schnell für viele Personen zubereitet und alles in schöner und entspannter Atmosphäre. Die Preise waren fair und die Absprachen waren unkompliziert und sehr nett

Ein gutes Lokal mit einer wunderbares Außengastro im Innenhof der Alten Feuerwache, mit einer reichhaltigen Karte. Einfach perfekt um ruhig und entspannt zu essen.

Nettes Ambiente, aber der Service war einfach nicht gut. Kellner kommt zum Tisch: „hallo, was kann ich für sie tun.“ „wir würden gerne etwas essen und 2 Spezi und eine Apfelschorle.“ nach 10 Minuten dann Getränke ohne Speisekarte, welche wir dann noch einmal anfordern mussten. Nach weiteren 10 Minuten dann immer noch keine Essensabfrage - somit haben wir dann bezahlt und sind zum Italiener ums Eck.
