Good potential thanks to the staff, but weaknesses in execution! This location offers fast food of generally good quality and has great potential to provide an excellent experience. Unfortunately, this potential is hampered by inconsistent overall performance. The staff deserves special mention. Their consistently friendly, pleasant, and service-oriented manner makes every visit a very positive experience and makes every interaction enjoyable. Another clear plus is the generous beverage selection thanks to the refill system. Unfortunately, several recurring problems mar the overall experience. There is an urgent need for improvement regarding order accuracy. Errors frequently creep into orders, usually to the customer's disadvantage. More consistent checks before order fulfillment are urgently needed to increase reliability. Cleanliness, especially upstairs, often leaves much to be desired. Furthermore, napkins are frequently missing. The availability of children's surprises is inadequate. They are often unavailable, or only the same older editions are consistently offered. Conclusion: With reliable ordering, improved basic cleanliness, and consistent availability of napkins and current children's offers, this location could quickly become a top destination. I hope these suggestions help management realize its full potential.

The ambiance was a bit worn, but otherwise the staff was super friendly, the service and the food were very tasty.

I can highly recommend the Kentucky Fried Chicken branch in Cologne. Everything about it is perfect. The attractive restaurant is always spotlessly clean, including the restrooms. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food is always fresh and simply delicious. We usually eat there, but sometimes we get takeout if we're short on time.

The dispensing display is not being used; people are waiting for the food even though it has been placed back in the warming zone.

An order was placed for customer MK on October 29, 2025, at 9:40 PM. The drinks were not delivered, and several calls to the driver and customer service were ignored. A written complaint also went unanswered, even though the payment had already been processed via PayPal. Such poor service is unacceptable – there was neither communication nor any attempt to rectify the situation. I therefore request a refund of the missing amount or a full investigation into this incident.

Drinks were stale and tasted strange. The drink selection was also very limited. When asked, they ran out of napkins. It was cold and dirty. For food at that price, you expect a bit more.

A friend of mine went there three times, and each time something wasn't put in the bag, but he paid for it. He only noticed it when he got home. It was really annoying, as if it were a scam. Thanks, he'll NEVER go there again.

Unfortunately, it wasn't good. Prices weren't reasonable. Everything was far too expensive for far too little, and the quality was questionable. I didn't like the taste and felt ripped off. You have to order from machines at the entrance, which require a lot of explanation. The wait time afterwards was abysmal. Kentucky s. F. won't see me again.

Very disappointing! While I was placing my order, the employee constantly chatted with me in a foreign language instead of focusing on the customer. With only eight items, the employee had to look at the order slip at least ten times and still forgot half. For the high prices, I expect significantly more attention and professionalism. It's annoying that the order was incomplete because of the constant chatter; this simply shouldn't happen!

Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with KFC. I really hope I was just having a bad day. The burger and wrap had almost no sauce, completely dry. The fries were soggy and undercooked. On top of that, the food has become very expensive and the portions (e.g., the wrap) were small. The restaurant was a bit chaotic, even though it was fairly empty. All the tables upstairs were dirty, the restrooms weren't clean, and there was no soap. On top of that, one of our orders was forgotten. I really hope it was a one-time experience. It was my last KFC visit, at least for now.

We ordered a dish with a bucket and two potatoes, and the guy preparing the order forgot to include the potatoes (although he did include the accompanying sauces). Lack of professionalism.

Everything was delicious, but the floor was sticky on every floor. You could feel your shoes sticking to the floor, which spoiled the overall impression.

Had a veggie burger. Simply disgusting. No flavor. Soggy and expensive at €7.19. Just make a little effort, my God.

I used to really enjoy coming here, but a lot has changed for the worse. The food doesn't taste as good as it used to, the hygiene leaves a lot to be desired, and the staff often seem disorganized and overwhelmed. Unfortunately, it's a regular occurrence to get stomach upsets after eating. It's a shame – the restaurant used to be top-notch, but now it's simply disappointing. I hope they urgently improve the quality standards and staff training.

I've never eaten as badly in a fast-food restaurant as I did in this one. The food was cold, the restaurant was dirty, and the drinks counter was sticky. Barely any customers in the restaurant, but tons of food was prepared. There were even about 20 portions of fries under the lamp, which were served during our visit. We were there for 20 minutes, and the fries were already there. The last person got fries that must have tasted fantastic. Doesn't KFC have waiting times? If so, they've been way past them for all the products. I definitely won't go back here. Oh, of course, I complained about my products and got a replacement... well, "very old" in "old".

If you don't mind waiting forever for your food, this is the place for you.

The worst KFC in the world. You take a mix of 3 pieces of chicken, for example I took 3 wings as one portion and 2 original pieces of chicken (drumstick) to get 3 wings, that's ok, one small drumstick that is smaller than any wing and one wing not completely rolled in breading like a piece of chicken. Are you people normal? Are we fools for taking here or are you smart? Whoever likes it, go ahead. Out of 50 KFC restaurants all over Europe, only this one is bad.

Ate at KFC again after years and was totally disappointed! Giant burger bun with a patty half the size. Barely any lettuce on the burgers and wrapped in paper. Back then, the Zinger was gigantic. The patty was so thin it got lost in the bun. The mayo recipe had been changed and it tasted sour. They only serve zero-calorie drinks and fries weren't available. The employee, Ms. Florida or someone similar, was very friendly. The two stars go to the employee for the friendly service. The restaurant is very run down, the benches are completely broken. The M.C..... at the competitor's product is ten times better.

Dirty beyond belief, the smell in the toilets makes you sick

We were simply thrown out with our dog. Even in the finest and most elegant restaurants, you're allowed to bring your dog—but in a fast-food restaurant?? My dog ​​is cleaner than some of their customers. What was particularly annoying was that we were initially let in as normal. The restaurant was almost empty, so there was no way they could have missed us. We ordered, paid, and were just about to sit down—and only then were we told that dogs weren't allowed. That's truly disappointing and completely incomprehensible.

My visit to KFC was unfortunately a mixed experience. The food itself was okay, as you'd expect from KFC. The chicken was crispy and tasty, and the side dishes were also satisfactory. ​A major disappointment, however, was the service. The staff seemed very unmotivated and, unfortunately, anything but friendly. I had the impression that, as a customer, I was perceived as more of a nuisance, which dampened the overall atmosphere. ​There was also significant room for improvement in terms of cleanliness. The tables were not all clean, and the overall impression of the dining area was rather lackluster. Hygiene is essential, especially in a restaurant, and KFC urgently needs to improve this. ​In summary, while the food was solid, the unfriendly staff and lack of cleanliness had a significant negative impact on the visit. It would be desirable for the restaurant to place more emphasis on customer service and hygiene to improve the overall experience.

It's a shame the chicken selection has been so limited... It's also not really suitable for children anymore. Even more telling about this branch was the unusually long wait time of a whopping 23 minutes after ordering, and when I went to wash my hands after eating, I immediately regretted having eaten there in the first place. It may be mental, but with these nonexistent hygiene standards, we weren't feeling particularly well physically either.

KFC in the Netherlands is better. It took almost half an hour for our food to arrive. The sauces weren't as good.

Do you crave fast food? Every now and then, definitely yes! I stopped at the drive-thru for a delicious large portion of fries – €3.60 – oh dear, a lot of money, but what the heck, if it's tasty, then it's okay. I grabbed a paper bag in the car and curiously looked inside, ravenously hungry. Did the young man make a mistake with the packaging? It was clearly a small portion. No way! That's the big one! If I'm going to indulge in nostalgic cravings, then a handful of fried potato strips for the equivalent of 7 nostalgic DM? Bad value for money.

Well, it's KFC. Delicious! But you always have to check the sauces – and whenever we're there, there are a maximum of three drinks to choose from.

Unfortunately, more than 50% of the place was dirty, making it impossible to sit down. Ordering took a full 22 minutes, and the food was dried out, as if it were yesterday's food. That was a real waste of money. Never again!

A rat infestation greets you in the car park, I feel really sorry for the staff that need to use the bins. Health and safety have not visited here, 1 slightly damp cloth was used to clean all the tables and stools , then the stair banister as well, no cleaning fluid was used when watching this happen, the banister was just as sticky afterwards as before. The toilet door was broken, making it difficult to leave the toilets, the staff gave the impression that they knew about the problem. Portion sizes are so small that the leg was actually smaller than the spoon for the coleslaw. Staff were not overly helpful. A place to avoid. 1 star as lower is not possible. As always, delicious food at KFC. The staff were nice and a bit overwhelmed. The ambiance... The interior is battered, the leather straps are torn or cut in places. Cleanliness is not guaranteed on every table.

As with 99% of all other reviews, I can only say the same thing: if I could give it 0 stars, I would. This was BY FAR the worst KFC I've ever been to in my entire life!!! I placed my order at the terminal and paid by card, only to find out after an endless wait at the counter that neither the milkshake nor the corn on the cob, which I had ordered and already paid for, was available. After a failed attempt to convince me otherwise, the completely incompetent and unmotivated staff told me that I couldn't get a refund because I had paid by card and not cash!!!!!! After I asked for the manager, more than annoyed, in a raised voice and in a slightly unfriendly manner, I finally got my money back, all in small change...!! So, from the service of the staff, to the availability of the specials, to the hygiene, this KFC simply offers NOTHING that you'd expect from this chain!!! A complete disgrace for KFC and I'm simply shocked that nothing is being done about it, because now that I'm reading this, these circumstances seem to be normal here - which is more than sad!

Both sauces were missing, the second fries were missing, the one that came with it was a small portion instead of a large one, and only water came out of the Pepsi dispenser. What a disappointment.

The food was very tasty and good, the service was also good, but the toilets left a lot to be desired. I was really shocked at how run down they looked.

No one reacted in the drive-thru, then there was a group meeting behind the cash register. Strange reaction, as if it didn't matter. Employees then smoked right there in the drive-thru. Zero motivation. Ordered Pepsi Lime Zero but got regular Pepsi. Burger wasn't warm, but cold. Fries were completely soggy. I'll be giving this KFC a wide berth in the future. It didn't look clean either. They need to have stricter controls here.

After paying, we were told they were out of fries, coleslaw, and salad! Instead, we got corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, and an extra burger. Worst KFC ever!!! The employees are only motivated by chatting. Four people in the kitchen talking about foreign topics, and one unmotivated young man at the cash register. I'm never coming back here!

Half of it was missing. The iced tea was water with color and no flavor. The restroom door handles were ripped off. Employees constantly take food from the store and eat it themselves. The mashed potatoes were past their best-before date. Tables aren't being cleaned. The employees look visibly unmotivated and annoyed. Unannounced inspections should be conducted here. We won't be eating here again.

Of the nine veggie tenders I ordered, only six were vegetarian. Thanks for nothing.

Absolut eine der schöneren KFC´s. Mit Straff gepolstertem Leder Interiör und einer Köln- Popart Deko kann man sich durchaus wohl fühlen. Freundliches Team, Qualität gewohnt hoch.

We went there for dinner on Sunday, and this review is for this branch! We received very friendly, professional, and dedicated service and went home feeling very full. Definitely recommended! Big praise to the entire team, especially Mr. Mohammad. UPDATE ————— My wife and I were there today and were very satisfied with the excellent service from Ms. AREZU. She served us with passion and honesty. Such service and honest service are very rare these days :) 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍

Overall, it was a real disappointment. The chicken was simply greasy, the meat was not very tasty (category 1), the breading was poorly seasoned and boring. The service was just so-so, and the cleanliness and ambiance could use some work. I even looked at the bottom of the tray...yuck! The value for money here is completely out of whack! Not again!

I also have to mention a few points of criticism here: -The tables are very dirty; wiping the sauces from right to left with a damp cloth hardly helps. -The chicken pieces were unfortunately very dry. -Some of the lights in the men's restroom are broken, making it very dark. Unfortunately, only 2 stars from me...

As always, the prices are on the high end of fast food restaurants. But the quality and quantity are OK. Overall, a clear recommendation from me, unlike others... You should know.

We were given good advice when ordering, but even though there was little customer traffic, half of what I received in the complaint was forgotten. The food was good. After eating we went to the toilet and soon left the food there again due to the smell that prevailed. Urimatte were all used up down to the last drop.

We went to eat in Marsdorf with our grandson yesterday. He requested it. I'm still shocked! Waited for food: 20 minutes Cleanliness: Tables and floor: Extremely dirty (It really took our breath away, it was just horrible...) Although the used trays were cleared away, no one even thought to take care of the remaining dirt. For us, that's the end of it for the future. What a shame!

Preferably 0 stars; we haven't seen such a dirty, unhygienic place in a long time. The seats are dirty and broken, and the tables are dirty (not just the surface). It's not "fast" food either; the service seems overwhelmed and not very friendly. The drinks are watery, and the food is just thrown together. Never again! Walraff reveals that he would probably describe Burger King branches as sterile compared to this KFC branch.

KFC is always a delicious adventure. Sometimes hotter, sometimes milder but always delicious. Unfortunately, the selection of drinks is not that appetizing and the service didn't always understand me 100%. But clean shop and I will definitely come back.

I once visited this KFC in Cologne Frechen with my family. However, I have to say that the tables and the floor were extremely dirty. After telling the employee several times, it was difficult to respond even though there was little activity. Instead, the employees are fooling around behind the bars and ignoring the customers. So here there is a lack of hygiene and discipline. If it looks like that on the tables and the floor, I wonder what it looks like in the kitchen.

This was officially the worst KFC I've ever been to! From the quality of the food to the appearance of the interior, it was simply a disaster. The fries were almost raw and not fried properly. The chicken pieces were dry and not crispy at all. The burgers' bread was also very dry. The mashed potatoes tasted rather neutral, like nothing at all instead of potatoes. The gravy on top also tasted very weak and didn't have the flavor you'd find in other branches. Now let's move on to the interior. Apart from me, there were two other customers, so it wasn't busy, but all the tables were still dirty, and there were used tablets lying around on the tables from previous customers. The employees seemed nice, but unfortunately, they weren't conscientious, and unfortunately, they can't fry food either. Normally, I eat everything I order when I eat out, even if I don't like it; I don't mind wasting my money on that. But this time, I couldn't eat most of it; it just tasted weird and disgusting. Something urgently needs to change here!!!!!

Totally filthy, employees prefer to lounge outside in groups while smoking or gossip together behind the counter. The floor is littered with trash, and handrails and door handles require immediate amputation. Simply disgusting!

Badly ripped off - never again Today my visit to KFC was one of the worst experiences ever. First I was charged incorrectly, then I received a completely wrong order. When I raised the problem, I was simply told in a rude manner that there was nothing that could be done about it. No apology, no accommodation - just ignorance! That's not how you treat customers. I can only advise everyone to avoid this store, at least in Cologne Marsdorf.
