Bistro Café Lort in Köln

… Fleischangebot und NUR mittwochs gutem UND preisgünstigem Döner aus Hackfleisch. Auch wenn der „Geheimtipp“ dadurch noch bekannter wird, schreibe ich hier die erste Tripadvisor-Bewertung. Mein Tipp: Kommt für den Mittwochs-Döner (der auf youtube so gehypt wird) früh genug, also zu der Öffnungszeit ab 11:30 Uhr, um möglichst weit vorne in der Warteschlange zu stehen. Der Döner wird vom türkischen Inhaber/Metzger selbst vom großen Drehspieß (geschätzt: 50 kg) heruntergeschnitten und von Mitarbeitern in die angetoasteten Fladenbrotviertel mit Salat, Zwiebeln, Tomaten und scharfer und/oder Knoblauchsoße vervollständigt. Fleisch schmeckt gut, ist nicht zu trocken und nicht überwürzt. Die meisten Kunden nehmen ihn und noch nen Becher Ayran mit, er kann aber auch auf einigen Stühlen sitzend vor Ort genossen werden. Es wird auch Kartenzahlung akzeptiert. Dazu muss man dann 2 m nebenan an die Metzgerei-Theke. Guten Appetit und etwas Geduld.

This is our first time here in Ehrenfeld, where this sort of thing is quite common. What I can say is that the place has been nicely renovated, and neither the old nor the new owner can do anything about the parking situation. You can't watch where people park, and especially in Ehrenfeld, you should know that the parking is a disaster. It's mostly older men who park there. And let's not forget, we're not in Hahnwald here, and as for the picture, it's an old one. So please stop spreading rumors that aren't true.

Incredibly loud and sometimes rude guests, who mostly congregate in front of the café. They also park in the right-turn lane, which prompts other drivers to honk their horns, often late into the night. And regarding the first review: of course, the owner gives himself 5 stars... but many neighbors and I hope this café closes soon. / Update: As you can see in the evening photo: even after months (and apparently a change of ownership), nothing has changed. People still park haphazardly, and the parking enforcement officers will likely remain a regular presence in our otherwise lovely neighborhood :-(

The bearded, dark-haired, male target group unabashedly parks all over the district. Disgusting! The right-turn lane is now the private parking lot. It doesn't matter if it hinders the following traffic. The sidewalks around the corner on Gutenbergstrasse are also blocked up... it doesn't matter whether this means garage entrances are blocked up or pedestrians can no longer pass!

Oh, everything your heart desires! Entertainment like billiards, foosball, darts, pinball, 3 TVs, friendly service, Wi-Fi, and open 24 hours.
