Ramen was very tasty, will come again.

The restaurant offers delicious sushi, which we enjoy again and again. The owner is super friendly and creates a great atmosphere. The prices are affordable, especially for the high quality of the food. Added to this is the great location of the restaurant. A visit here is always a pleasure and we look forward to continuing to enjoy the delicious dishes!

The food is actually good - but as a company I recommend giving the restaurant a wide berth! No credit cards are accepted - as far as is understandable, at least it is advertised at the entrance. If you try to pay in cash, you will only be presented with a consumption receipt. Despite electronic receipt, it takes a full 15 minutes (?) to print the receipt. This consumption receipt is worthless as a company - a blatantly obvious attempt to evade taxes. The whole thing was observed at three tables, so it's a common scam. The authorities should pay a visit to the store - as an honest taxpayer I feel ripped off!

I had the Classic Ramen with Chasu. It was the best ramen I've eaten so far :) Highly recommended.

At the recommendation of a friend, we went there to eat ramen. We weren't disappointed. It was really delicious, and the sushi that my daughter ordered was delicious and presented so lovingly and beautifully. The homemade iced teas with Macha were also delicious and we will be back. Super nice service and great ambience. Top 👍🏽

Excellent ramen, hearty, large portion, tasty meat, tasty vegetables, were very satisfied with the dinner. Among the disadvantages - you can only pay with cash or EC card, which was somewhat inconvenient, because we had to go to the ATM, although we were already supposed to go. Unfortunately, there is no warning about this anywhere, and the situation had to be resolved after the fact.

Great sushi shop! I've been there several times and even as a "not necessarily a sushi lover" I like the sushi! The soups and bowls are also highly recommended :)

Simply my favorite restaurant when I feel like ramen, the price/performance ratio is amazing and I always feel so comfortable because of the great ambience.

Very kind servers, food was great, i had miso ramen, friend had a sushi roll Sex on the beach, also yuzu ice tee. All of it was great. Down to earth prices. I didnt notice on the pictures beforehand, but you can sit outside as well.

Very full and very tasty! Staff tried very hard, but since card payments are unfortunately only possible from 20 euros and only Girocard/Maestro is accepted and no credit card payments, I unfortunately have to deduct 2 stars! Hopefully this restaurant will arrive soon in 2010!

There are nicer restaurants in the area. The vegetarian chili ramen soup was delicious, would like more vegetables in the future. The price was okay. The service was rather unmotivated, serving the tables not in the order in which people came, but rather in the order in which people sat near them. When he asked if we were ready and we said yes, he first flicked trash into our plates that he was carrying. That was uncomfortable. It was also unpleasant that the waiters repeatedly asked if we could pay in cash just because the owner preferred that. If you offer card payment, shouldn't you also accept guests who want to pay by card?

We were here for the first time and absolutely loved it! The service was incredibly nice and the sushi was truly the best thing we've eaten since. It was also very nicely presented. We will definitely be back soon!

We visited this great restaurant on a weekend trip to Cologne. As soon as we walked in we were impressed by the atmosphere it offers. The employees were very friendly. The menu offers something for every taste and has a selection of ramen, sushi and many other specialties. We found the prices on the menu to be more than reasonable. But when the food came we were thrilled. It is so lovingly prepared that you hardly dare to destroy the work of art in front of you. Once you've done it, you'll simply be amazed by the taste. I have visited the restaurant many times and from the moment I entered the stylishly decorated restaurant I felt welcome and in good hands. The ambience is stylish and appropriately decorated for a Japanese restaurant. You will be greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing evening. Of particular note was the sushi, which was not only incredibly fresh but also artfully presented. Every bite was a little masterpiece. I was also impressed by the service in Daimyo. Our waitress was able to give us excellent advice on the choice of food and drinks and contributed significantly to our positive experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a relaxed dinner in Cologne. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!☺️

Sushi quality was quite acceptable. I liked the fast and friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere. Prices were reasonable.

The recommendations for wine pairings are in a class of their own. The carefully selected wines harmonize perfectly with the Asian flavors.

The octopus balls are incredibly delicious! Ramen is also great here and the bowl was great too! The staff is great, very friendly! Mochi ice cream for dessert is also recommended :)

I first saw this restaurant on Instagram. I immediately made an appointment with a friend of mine to go there. What did we order, they are super delicious! Although we waited about 30 minutes for our food after ordering. For the ambience, yes the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the house music is awesome. If we could maybe go there in the evening, it would be much nicer - because it only looks normal in the afternoon. Next time. I give the price-performance ratio 3 to 5.

Originally wanted to go to another restaurant. Due to incredibly bad weather conditions, we spontaneously decided to go to this restaurant. It was quite busy, so we had to wait a bit without a reservation. We decided on the ramen. These were definitely tasty, attractive and the portions were large. However, these are not in a particularly high league for me. Definitely recommended, but that special something is missing for me. The sensation, however, was the sushi. That was definitely the Champions League. Next to Sweet Sushi, the best sushi in town. I've only had the Dragon Roll and it was incredibly good. Next time we'll focus exclusively on sushi. The other inside-out rolls, special rolls and sashimi also looked delicious. See you next time.

The Daimyo is a small restaurant with Japanese cuisine, right on Friesenplatz. The ramen we ordered was very good, the yolk from the Toro egg was on point, the broth was extremely tasty and tasty, as was the chasu. The karage was authentic and delicious. The prices are OK. The staff is nice and the service is quick. We recommend. Unfortunately only cash payment possible.

My visit to Daimyo in Cologne was really disappointing. The miso ramen I was looking forward to was just plain bland and had little in common with what I consider real Japanese ramen to be. I've eaten at a few ramen shops before, but this really wasn't a highlight. The employees are quite disinterested. We felt like we were unwanted. This is not how I imagine a relaxed meal in a restaurant to be. The only thing that was okay was the prices. But let's be honest, if the food and service aren't right, even a fair price doesn't do much good. In short, I was pretty disappointed with the Daimyo. For anyone looking for delicious ramen and a nice place where you feel welcome - you'd better look further here.

Unfortunately it's very tight inside, the tables are barely spaced apart.

Klein und gemütlich,authentisches Ambiente und ebensolche Gerichte. Ein Ort, wo man noch klassisches Sushi (im Gegensatz zur trendenden California-Variante) in super Qualität und zu einem super Preis bekommt. Warme Gerichte (u. a. Ramen) sind ebenfalls köstlich. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, ein Ort, an dem man gerne is(s)t.

Best miso ramen I’ve ever had. I’m not a ramen connoisseur but damn this was good. We stayed at a hotel next door and we ate here two days in a row because of that. Unfortunately I didn’t try anything else from the menu so can’t answer for that

Great store. I have to admit it's a little smaller than I thought but that's a matter of opinion anyway. It's not that loud. The most important thing is the food and staff. Food was great and absolutely reasonable in terms of price-performance ratio. Initially the staff was one person short, which is why they couldn't keep up with the work, but that was sorted out during my stay with additional staff. If you like Japanese food, I can only recommend the shop. Not only did everything I had look great and be delicious, but everything that passed my table looked great.

Overall good. I was there for dinner in the evening. It was well attended and almost all tables were occupied. The tables are a bit cramped and it was also quite loud, but that wasn't a problem for me. The service was friendly and I didn't have to wait long for the food. I ordered the spicy ramen with tofu, unfortunately the spicy ramen was absolutely not spicy (unfortunately only a minimal hint of spiciness). It was still tasty, but I've also had better ramen. Prices are okay. I would eat at Daimyo's again to try out other dishes

Leckere Gerichte. Sehr Kleiner Laden. Es kann schnell laut werden. Portionen sind etwas klein. Wer viel Hunger hat, sollte auf jeden Fall noch eine Vorspeise dazu nehmen. Rahmen ziemlich teuer.

Service ist leider etwas hektisch und unfreundlich auch mit nur 4 Gästen im Lokal. Das Essen ist lecker und preiswert.

Fantastische Auswahl an Nudelgerichten. Authentisch und lecke

Ich war leider noch nie in Japan, daher fällt es mir schwer, die Authentizität zu beurteilen. Aber der kleine, sympathische Laden macht richtige leckere Sachen, von den Beilagen wie Kimchi über Gyozas hin zur Ramen-Suppe, die großartig ist. Sushi habe ich nicht probiert, sah aber gut aus und ich finde ohne übertriebene Preis-Sphären, die bei Sushi schon mal zu beobachten sind.
