The food was very tasty and staff was friendly. If you are looking for a good ramen place, or a Katsu Curry then you should definitely come here. The food is a little bit pricey, but then again, the portions are big! Overall a very good restaurant!

It's always very crowded around lunchtime, but the value for money is excellent! Large portions and reasonable prices – I highly recommend it!

A truly authentic place, reservations aren't possible, but we only waited a short while. It's certainly not the kind of restaurant where you sit by candlelight in a private booth—but: If that's not your thing, you'll get a perfect bowl of ramen soup, and a gluten-free option with rice is easily arranged. Delicious Japanese lemonades with yuzu or lychee, and the prices are perfectly reasonable. It's rather small and bustling, but somehow that's precisely what makes it so cozy. For me, this is now the go-to place for ramen in Düsseldorf.

Amazing Takoyaki and Ramen! Great value for money with sizeable portions, friendly staff and a warm, upbeat atmosphere. As a South African I appreciated how lively and intimate this restaurant can be when every table is full. We only waited about 15 minutes to be seated and it was well worth the wait.

*Bringing in food and drinks is prohibited. I heard this is the best ramen shop in Düsseldorf, so I went there. It truly is the best ramen shop in Düsseldorf! Five stars isn't enough! It was so delicious! The interior and restroom are a bit narrow, so you have to move around when passing others. There is a counter and table seating (connected benches along the wall, and waist-high chairs along the aisle). There is a small bench outside for waiting. There is currently (November 2025) construction in front of the shop. I arrived around 1:00 PM and was just able to get in, but by the time I left, several people were waiting outside. Advance reservations are not accepted (confirmed). The ramen shop near Düsseldorf Central Station is also delicious, but the soup was sometimes a little lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. However, Umaimon's soup was warm and incredibly delicious! The menu was extensive, and the selection was fun and exciting! I ordered takoyaki as a side dish, and it was delicious!! I ordered the "Super Spicy Orochon Ramen Level 2 (Spicy)." I usually eat Shin Ramen, but this was a little spicier than that! By the time I finished eating, sweat was slowly breaking out on my forehead. The staff were very kind, and I even said hello to the kitchen staff on my way out. It was a very pleasant restaurant. If I lived nearby, I could easily get takeout, but it's a shame I have to travel so far. I'll definitely go again. Thank you so much for the delicious food. Simply wow. The best ramen I've eaten in Germany so far. Very authentic. A small but excellent shop where only Japanese people work and speak Japanese. The miso soup at Umaimon Daidokoro was simply perfect! There are many Japanese restaurants of this kind in Düsseldorf, but this one really stands out – authentic, fresh, and with great attention to detail. Only one other place comes close for me: Kombu bistro in Düsseldorf-Benrath – completely different, but also absolutely worthy of 5 stars.

We visited with our dogs during peak dinner time, and were so grateful for their warm hospitality. ❤️ The dog is large, so it must have been unintentional, but he blocked the road, making it difficult for the waiters to serve him. However, he always smiled and adored them. I was so touched... Above all, the ramen was truly authentic!!!! It tasted just like the one I had in Japan, and every single ingredient was fresh. Personally, I think it's the best ramen in Düsseldorf. ❤️❤️ The takoyaki dumplings and fried fish cakes we had on the side were crispy and delicious. ❤️ I'll be back again!!

We were there on a Sunday afternoon and were among the first guests. The restaurant is small, very authentically Japanese, and the atmosphere itself feels genuine. You can hear the staff speaking Japanese to each other, which only enhances the atmosphere. We ordered two ramen (limited to 10 pieces a day), two Cokes, one gyoza, and one edamame. The total came to just under €60, which is absolutely reasonable for the quality. The taste was top-notch – very authentic, balanced, and simply delicious. The gyoza were juicy and crispy, the edamame fresh and perfectly salted. The ramen was particularly impressive: rich broth, fine ingredients, everything cooked to perfection. Vegetarian alternatives were also available! The service was also very friendly and attentive, without seeming forced. Overall, a restaurant that I can definitely recommend if you're looking for really good, authentic Japanese food.

Definitely won't be back! The employee enters €144 into the ATM. You give a tip and round it up to €150! After you pay, the bill is placed in front of you. Look, it's €133.50. Why does the employee automatically add €10.50?! Did I miss something? The restaurant decides how much you should tip? I was just too stupid to trust the employee to enter the correct amount. So check the bill on umaimon and see what the ATM enters!!!! I now see it as a donation and a lesson learned!

We've been here many times because it has the best miso ramen in Düsseldorf. We even think it's better than Takumi's. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Wow, what a meal! Before the Ed Sheeran concert, we wanted to grab a decent bite to eat. We opened Google Maps and, voila... found Daidokoro :-) What absolute luck. Parking right on the street, right up to the door, and we joined the line. Yes, you heard right—there's a line out front. Amazing. It was quick, though. We went in, ordered, and ate. WOWWW! The place was always packed within the approximately 1.5 hours we were there. Great service. Drinks and food arrived promptly. We'll definitely be back! Go there!!! Enjoy!

I don't even know where to start. All the dishes on the menu were delicious 😋, and I've been a regular since I discovered them in Oberkassel. My absolute favorite dish is the Noukou Tori Soba, served with a thick, flavorful chicken broth. The noodles were springy and perfectly cooked. Simply perfect 🍜 Unfortunately, they only serve 10 portions a day, so I recommend coming for lunch. Another favorite of mine is the rice set menu (Teishoku). There's a choice of side dishes like Chicken Katsu or Chicken Nanban, served with rice and clear, delicious chicken broth. The gyoza 🥟 are also incredibly delicious. Every Monday, they offer 50% off gyoza 🤩 The tables are small, and there's not much room to move around. Perfect for a quick lunch or just ordering takeout.

This ramen was not only a feast for the eyes, but also for the palate! The broth was clear and flavorful, with a subtle umami flavor that perfectly complemented the ingredients. The wonderfully crispy karaage pieces are particularly noteworthy – golden brown and crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. An absolute delight! The perfectly cooked egg with its creamy, golden center was another highlight. Added to this were fresh bean sprouts, aromatic chives, and tender bamboo shoots, which gave the dish a pleasant freshness and texture. The portion was generous and lovingly presented – you can tell that a lot of care went into the cooking. A truly comforting dish that warms both the heart and the stomach. A definite recommendation for all ramen lovers!

After a short wait outside, the two of us got a table for two on a Saturday evening. Luckily, we arrived at the right time, as the line was getting longer and longer shortly after us. The restaurant made maximum use of the space. The tables are close together, and the ambiance is very reminiscent of restaurants in Japan. An experience that was very reminiscent of my vacation in Japan. We ordered an appetizer and two main courses. They didn't take long to arrive at our table, and we enjoyed every bite. Spicy, full-flavored, and thoroughly enjoyable. The Sichuan ramen was the best ramen I've ever had in Germany. But the katsu was also very crispy. There was nothing to criticize. Except that the food was eaten too quickly :)

Fast & friendly. That's my opinion, the only dish that isn't warmed up in the Mirko is the gyoza, which is delicious. Ramen is OK. Curry great drinks a bit expensive ambience nice.

Amazing food, some of the best japanese food you can get in the city, and the standard in düsseldorf is really high. Prices are alright, portion sizes are also fine, although the gyoza are a little smaller than some other places. Easier to eat for sure, you just end up getting a little less. Still fine i think. Staff is super quick, super friendly, also in good spirits, you get the typical japanese greeting when you enter, just all around fantastic staff. Atmosphere is also good, it's a small place, so it's definitely cozy, lots of japanese writing on the walls, and nice dekor. The place is very clean, but it always looks a little busy, because it is, which i really love, it makes this very authentic.

Three of us spontaneously stopped by for dinner on a Tuesday evening and were lucky that there was still a table available for us. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The selection of dishes is extensive, and there should be something for everyone. All three of us had the veggie miso ramen with vegetable tempura and thought it was absolutely delicious. The portion was a decent size and deliciously spicy. The restaurant is super small and very authentically decorated. We really enjoyed it and will be back!

And the fact that there were so many Japanese people there speaks volumes about the delicious food. We were lucky to get a table right away on a Friday evening. Normally, you have to wait a bit. There are no reservations available. We will definitely be back.

The food is as Always great. Love the way they serve with a Smile. The only Thing i would Like to suggest is maybe a Bit more comfortable seating. The stools and bences are a Bit uneasy & hard. Apart from that the food specially kimchi is a "smashing Hit" Here. ☺️💕

There were 3 of us and we had to wait in line for about 10 minutes on a Thursday evening until a spot became available. There is also the option to order take-away food. After a long time, I had delicious ramen (salt ramen, soy sauce ramen) and chicken cutlet curry. (It was so delicious that I went there three times in two days.) I was also able to drink Japanese sake and was very satisfied.

After an initial wait of around 15 cold minutes outside, we were treated to a really delicious, authentic Japanese meal. It was worth it - very nice. We'd love to come back.

Small, cozy shop, the staff doesn't speak good German (but it's more authentic in my opinion). Still super nice and quick. There's no need to talk about the food, it's just as good or if not better than Takumi. Without queuing for long!!! All in all 9/10 will go there again at any time!

Nice place to eat ramen and curry rice. Tan tan men ramen it’s quite nice (little spicy) with options to add from soya sprouts to chicken schnitzel. I recommend it if people doesn’t want to wait in a long line like always happens in Immermanstraße.

Food tastes well, we tried different options of ramen and curry, bouillon (miso, shoyu) was always rich. There are just two pieces of meat in the standard option, the smallest amount I ever had in any ramen in Düsseldorf. It would be nice to have a bit more. Also I find temperature inside too cold, many people did not take off winter jackets, which is not really pleasant as dining experience.

Traditional and authentic ramen soups. Yuzu lemonade and matcha ice cream are also available! The restaurant is very small but I have never had to wait in line during the week. It's definitely more crowded on the weekend but many people just pick up.

I had miso soup with fried chicken and it was really delicious. Ordering and preparation went very quickly. You just have to be lucky to get a free spot. Next time I'll try a curry.

I visited for lunch on December 29th. So delicious! Rather, I was personally impressed by the gentle flavor, which was a bit like an extension of home cooking. If it was in my neighborhood, I would definitely go there. It may have been a coincidence, but it wasn't that crowded, and there were a few customers who seemed to be regulars. I plan on eating here again the next time I come to Düsseldorf. For meals, I had curry and tantanmen, both of which were delicious. Personally, I was glad that the atmosphere was similar to Nishiyama Ramen in Singapore (when it first opened).

In my opinion, the best ramen in all of Düsseldorf is here. The quality is very high and the taste of the dishes is always excellent. The restaurant is not very big but has a nice authentic atmosphere. Still not a place to stay here for longer than a meal. But that's not the concept either. At peak times it is usually very crowded and you have to be lucky to get a seat straight away. But I think it's worth waiting until a place becomes available. In summer, a small outdoor area directly on the street can also be used.

My new favorite restaurant! The staff is incredibly authentic and friendly, the price-performance ratio is fair and the taste of the curry in particular really blew me away. The sauce in combination with the rice was just really harmonious. I would almost say that the chicken is a bit too much, as the dish harmonized so perfectly without it. Next time I'm in Düsseldorf and have a craving for Japanese cuisine, I'll definitely come straight here.

A wonderful Japanese restaurant offering authentic flavors. My personal favorite is the teriyaki chicken curry with rice, which has become my go-to choice whenever I crave something different from Indian cuisine.

I go there twice a week and think Umaimon is the best store in the Takumi chain. They not only have ramen but also great chicken dishes with rice, gyoza and salad - perfect for lunch. By the way, there is also a stamp card for lunch that almost no one knows about. Just ask and after 10 orders you get free gyoza and after 20 you get free ramen, it's worth it over time. Recommend the C2 (Special Ramen and only 10 available a day), F2 (Katsu set) and F10 (Chicken Nanban with a mega delicious tartar sauce).

The fried chicken steak is delicious without the sauce. The topcoat should be from Nissin.

The shio ramen here is truly the best. And the Kirin draft beer is really...ㅠㅠ I'm so impressed.

This is my most frequently visited ramen restaurant. Curry rice and Teishoku are highly recommended as well
