I've been a regular at the Wirtshauser for 16 years now because the atmosphere is great, the service is very friendly, and the food is always excellent. I always feel well taken care of here and get excellent, generous portions at reasonable prices. Thanks to head chef Sabine, the quality is consistently high and has never disappointed me!

Food as you'd expect from a sports restaurant. Plenty for me (spaghetti with tomato and shrimp sauce), but the pasta was too soft and the sauce was more Asian than Italian. The Italian antipasti as a starter and Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes) for dessert were okay. I was there with a group of about 50 people. Service was friendly and prompt. Ambience: Sports restaurant with 70s furniture? Terribly loud.

If you love Bavarian food, this is the place for you! We had roast beef with onions and fried potatoes, beef goulash, and a large salad with fried mushrooms. Everything was delicious, including the amazing salad dressing. There's also a salad buffet! The service was attentive, friendly, and helpful despite their stress. We'd love to come back and recommend it!

I paid €11.90 for a small "vegetable stir-fry" bowl 😳 The bowl is about 12 cm in size. When I asked about it, I was fobbed off 🙊🙈🙉

A cozy, beautiful inn, just as you'd expect in Munich. Not fancy, but personal and quaint. Friendly hosts, attentive staff, good, freshly prepared food, and a good Augustiner beer. What more could you want?

I was there for lunch yesterday. Had the Cordon Bleu from the lunch menu. Well, I have to say it was really bad. The meat was dry to tough. There was little cheese but a lot of ham. The plate was full of oil (I left the rest). The French fries were also rather old-fashioned (they weren't fresh). A Cordon Bleu belongs in a pan. There's a lot of room for improvement when a lunch dish costs €15. 2 stars, just barely.

Update January 2025 -- Unfortunately, the portions are getting smaller and smaller. **** The goulash had almost no meat. Not recommended!! Unfortunately, the roast pork was often very fatty, and the gravy used to be better. You can swap side dishes at no extra charge, which is nice. Friendly service. However, the food has deteriorated, and prices have become expensive, especially for a club restaurant.

Bad Bad NO LONGER RECOMMENDED I've been to Wirtshauser four times in the last while. - Duck / extremely dry, not fresh but reheated - Roast pork / with a disgusting, thick, mushy chemical sauce that had a skin forming on the surface. - Szegedin goulash / was almost just cabbage; you had to hunt for the meat. - Cordon Bleu / it was really greasy, oily, and dry from the deep fryer. The fries were hard and dry, having been sitting around for a long time. I had a stomach ache from the greasy, fatty stuff. Overall, you can forget about going to Wirtshauser for dinner these days. The kitchen staff, or rather the chef, seems to have changed. I won't go there again and can't recommend it anymore. The service also seemed a bit annoyed and was mildly unfriendly.

We were there shortly before 10 p.m. (I called 20 minutes beforehand). The young man said he'd let the kitchen know how many people we were. Simply top-notch. Friendly, quick, delicious, and we got what we wanted. Now that's what I call customer service! Keep it up... used to be standard - now rare!

The best place in Pasing to enjoy good German/Bavarian food at a great price! This sports restaurant with a small but fine menu has a comfortable outdoor terrace. They serve Augustiner beer on tap and a weekly changing daily special… Except for the ribs, I can recommend everything without exception…

If you come to Munich and want to see a real Bavarian tavern, this is the right place for you. People use first name names right from the start, the food tastes very good and the waiters are all very nice and accommodating. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious and plentiful. Absolutely recommended.

The exterior and the fact that it is a sports restaurant do not lead to much expectation of culinary delights. But we were very positively surprised. It is very comfortably furnished, great and quick service and the food is excellent at moderate prices. An absolute tip in this area. Both the inn itself, the adjoining rooms and especially the bright outdoor area are recommended. For a cozy lunch with a small or large group, I will be shortlisting this restaurant in the future.

This is my second time here. Cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. I had fish in my first visit and today chilli con carne. Flavourful, good portion. Salad with house dressing was also delicious. It’s not drenched in balsamic vinegar that is common in other restaurants. They use home made lemon dressing, light and goes so well with the tuna salad. Will be back again to try other items in the menu.

Delicious home cooking at a reasonable price that is rarely found in Munich. Great waitresses who are always on their toes, super friendly and funny. Very cozy winter garden. You feel like you're on an alpine pasture. We have also used the outdoor hut for 30 people for a small celebration. It was wonderfully cozy and very well heated in winter. There is even a small curling rink and fireplace in front of the hut. In summer, the beer garden is in the sun until late, as there is a mostly unused football field area to the south. We say thank you and are always happy to come back! 😀

There is a great restaurant hidden in this sports restaurant. The only negative point: depending on the cook, there may be raw onions mixed into the cheese sparrows.

If you like good food at normal prices, this is a great place for you.

It's great that the Champions League is on here, but I still find the service easy to forget. The table we actually ordered was ultimately not allocated to us. My currywurst was given to another person twice and I ended up having to point it out to the waitress twice.

Da Wirtshauser is our new biker get-together. Ideally suited for this purpose. In the summer there is a beer garden with shelter if it rains, in the winter inside and a separate hut for larger celebrations. The staff is always friendly and nice, even if they sometimes say stupid (but not malicious) sayings. The food is great, from snacks to hearty steaks to huge desserts. And all at reasonable prices! I think we'll stay here for a while!
