Tolle Unterkunft direkt am See... Näher geht es wohl kaum. Als Familie hatten wir in der Nähe alles was wir gebraucht haben. Essen gehen direkt unter dem Zimmer 😂 war übrigens super gut. Eis gabs auch, das war au voll okay sowohl preislich als auch qualitativ... insofern gibt es nichts zu beanstanden... Einzig kleines Manko an unserem Zimmer: kein Tisch an dem Mann mit 4 Personen drinnen sitzen hätte können. Zu wenig Platz dank dem Schlafsofa...

Gut gemeint aber schlecht gekonnt. Ein großes Durcheinander, unfreundliche Mitarbeiter, Hafermilch ganze 1,80 Aufpreis??? (Wurde als Wein abgebucht, völlig intransparent), bei Nachfrage kam keine vernünftige Antwort. Kuchen war nicht gut, Kakao war in Ordnung. Wirkt eher unkoordiniert, keine Empfehlung.

Das Restaurant ist toll im Hafen gelegen. Leider ist die Bedienung wieder mal unfreundlich. Auffallend ist das insbesondere Einzelpersonen nicht mal richtig begrüsst werden und das Essen unf Trinken stumm auf den Tisch gestellt wird. Atypisch für ein italienisches Restaurant. Die Getränke werden nicht einmal bis zum Eichstrich eingeschenkt. Das Essen ist gut aber nicht besonders warm. Leider ist es dem Inhaber egal das seine Mitarbeiter so unfreundlich sind.

Der Blick auf den See ist Erholung pur. Hier läuft alles rund.

Sehr leckere Pizza bei bester Aussicht

Nachdem uns nach einer halben Stunde Wartezeit der Service endteckte durften wir bestellen. Leider wurden wir von dem Eis das wir bestellten sehr enttäuscht. Bei dem Erdbeerbecher haben wir ein paar kleine Stückchen Frucht entdeckt (gesamt eine ganze Erdbeere in der Erdbeersaison). Bei meinem Krokantbecher, der mit Eierlikör in der Eiskarte angebriesen wird, war kein Likör drin, aber dafür Malagaeis mit viiielen Rosinen (steht nicht auf der Karte)......der Kellner meinte nur, da kann er nix dafür, er mache das Eis nicht......na ja da hat er vermutlich Recht.

Superleckere Lasagne, tolle Lage direkt beim Hafen und sehr freundliche italienische Kellner. Alles super! (Wir haben nur zu Mittag gegessen, die Hotelzimmer kann ich nicht beurteilen.)

Tolles Restaurant mit toller Terrasse direkt am See. Essen sehr gut, sei es eine Pizza, Nudelgerichte oder Fisch. Hervorragenden Ital. Kaffee und schneller, super freundlicher Service. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an Elias, der sich extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit um uns kümmerte. Wir fühlen uns wie zu Hause und kommen immer wieder gerne!

Essen top, Service flopp. Trotz Reservierung 20 Minuten Wartezeit; erst wurde ein Tisch zugewiesen, dann wurden wir wieder vom Tisch weggelotst und mußten am Empfang warten. Bis dann endlich ein Kellner die Speisen und Getränke aufgenommen hat, hat auch wieder einige Zeit gedauert 😕 Essen empfehlenswert.

Schlechter Service, genervtes Personal. Wenn man was nach bestellt kommt nicht auch beim 2. Fragen. Salat war ohne Soße und dann hat man Soße nach bekommen. Also nicht zu empfehlen

Wir haben uns hier einen Eiskaffee auf der Terrasse gegönnt. Der hat sehr gut geschmeckt und der Service sowie die Aussicht waren super.

Super schöner Spot, um sowohl Pizza als auch Eis zu genießen! Die Lage ist wirklich toll – besonders draußen in der Sonne mit Blick auf den See. Es gibt viele Sitzplätze, perfekt für eine entspannte Pause. Wir hatten als Snack Pizzabrot und das war richtig lecker – vor allem die Soße war super gut. Genau das Richtige für zwischendurch, egal ob man eher Lust auf etwas Herzhaftes oder etwas Süßes hat. Kann ich definitiv weiterempfehlen, komme gerne wieder!

unfreundliche, arrogante Bedienung

Wollte einen Fruchtbecher bestellen, dann wurde sich darüber lustig gemacht das ich frage was für Früchte in dem Fruchtbecher sind. Wären halt gemischte Früchte drin . Gab dann noch eine Kommentar,dass ich ja Verständnis haben muss denn die Terrasse sei viel zu groß und wenn man auf alle Wünsche wie “meine”eingehen würde, würde man ja durchdrehen. Super unfreundlich. Schließlich gibt es Menschen mit Allergien die das wissen müssen. Schade…

Die Pizzen waren sehr lecker! Wir wurden zügig bedient, lediglich Servietten haben gefehlt. Freundlicher Service, schöne Plätze mit Blick auf den Bodensee.

Ein sehr zu empfehlendes Restaurant mit tollem Blick und ohne Autoverkehr. Allerdings sollte man reservieren 😉.

Sehr sehr schlechter "Service". Schon beim Betreten des Lokals von einem genervten Personal "empfangen " worden . Nachdem uns der Kellner 20 Minuten ignoriert hatte, sind wir wieder gegangen. Wenn man es sogar nicht für nötig hält, es gibt auch noch andere Restaurants.Allgemein sehr unfreundlich mit den Gästen umgegangen.

Wir haben uns Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Pizza war moderat und falsch belegt. Liebloser Eindruck. Lasagne war ein Matsch aus Käse und Wasser. Kein Genuss und dafür alles zu teuer..sehr schade, da kaufen wir also eher nichtmehr.

Wunderschöne Lage, das Essen ist sehr gut!

Wir waren mit 22 Personen einen 18‘ten Geburtstag feiern am 03.01.2026. Wir hatten den getrennten Raum im hinteren Bereich des Restaurants bekommen. Wir haben alle sehr lecker gegessen. See Service war top, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir können das Restaurant sehr weiterempfehlen.

In perfekter Lage mit Seeblick werden bei freundlichem Service die leckersten Speisen serviert. Es empfiehlt sich, nach dem Fisch des Tages zu fragen, der womöglich nicht einmal auf der Tageskarte steht. Das Lokal ist eine Bereicherung für Wasserburg.

Essen war sehr gut 👍 , wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und auch angenehm verabschiedet. Jedoch der Sevice selbst könnte besser sein. Zumindest könnte der Kellner beim abräumen der Teller vom Tisch fragen, ob es geschmeckt hat. Würde mich persönlich als Gastwirt interessieren.

Wir waren im November 2025 nur im Restaurant zu Gast, es hat uns sehr gefallen und sehr gut geschmeckt. Preislich fanden wir es sehr angemessen. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass die Betreiber wirklich Italiener sind, die mit einem herrlichen Einschlag sprechen. Dies aber ohne die Hektik und das Geschei, das Italiener "gerne" manchal haben. Ich kann das sagen - denn ich bin selbst 50% Italiener (2. Generation). Nebenbei: eine wirklich tolle Idee an der Uferpromenade Sammelbehälter für leere Pizzakartons anzubringen (die alle geleert waren)!

Wer einen richtig tollen Italiener am Bodensee sucht, der ist hier genau richtig! Die Location verfügt über einen direkten Blick auf den Bodensee und die Berge, das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, der Service top! Es ist unser Lieblingsitaliener im Bodenseekreis. Wir kommen noch viele Jahre sehr gerne wieder!

Stilvolles Restaurant, exzellente italienische Küche, tadelloser Service

We were extremely satisfied! The service was friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, and the value for money was outstanding. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back. P.S. We can't comment on the hotel itself.

I ate there for my 30th wedding anniversary... I have to admit... I've never had Italian food like Salvatore's... the food was a dream... fantastic. Wonderful steak, fantastic pasta, and a divinely delicious salad. And, of course, the aroma of fresh espresso heralded the end of the meal... Super friendly staff, fantastic location with a view of the lake. Absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back... absolutely. And to all of you who haven't been there yet... don't miss it...

Today, September 9, 2025, we were here again and can only say it was absolutely amazing... The starter and main course were fabulous... (tartar, tibon steak, sole). The staff were all friendly and nice. Dogs are still welcome... Thank you. (2024) Compared to last year, a lot has improved... the staff were friendly and nice... The food was good and tasty... the potatoes and vegetables were unfortunately only lukewarm... hence only 4 stars for the food. It's nice that dogs are welcome... 4 stars overall for that.

Super delicious gluten-free pizza, prepared according to celiac disease!

Next to the Schlosshotel, the best food in Wasserburg. The renovation was worth it. It's very cozy, less noisy, and has improved. Definitely listen to the recommendations of the excellent service team; it's worth it. We'd love to come back.

Very good food, but the wait was far too long. It took over an hour for our drinks to arrive, and we had to ask for cutlery for the fifth person four times. If it's not busy, the place is definitely worth recommending for service.

The terrace is a lovely place to sit with a view of Lake Constance. We were there in mid-September, at the end of the season. The interior was full, but there was still space outside (in the evening, it was cool). The chef was friendly, but seemed a bit stressed, and the service was slow. At several tables, people waited longer for their orders and bills. Carbonara was excellent and authentic, but the baked pasta could have been seasoned a bit more. The pasta in both dishes was al dente, fantastic! I would eat there again.

Restaurant, nice, clean, good location. Service okay, but the order was taken incorrectly, then we had to wait forever for the right food, and we didn't even get an apology...

We only ate at the restaurant. It was delicious, with a wide selection of pizzas. The plates were beautifully presented and garnished. The waiters were very friendly.

The service is unfriendly and rude, and the tables are poorly set. For a restaurant of this location and with these prices, I would expect something decent. The pizza was mediocre, and the pasta was terrible. Chipped plates and trash on the table that you have to dispose of yourself were just the least of the problems. Overall, definitely not recommended!

I would have liked to rate the quality of the ice cream I was about to order. After getting up after 20 minutes without any staff speaking to us, I wanted to try my luck with an ice cream cone. There was no luck here either. After waiting five minutes at the ice cream counter without anyone paying any attention to me or the other people waiting, I gave up! What a pity!

Very nice location. But that's about it. The waiters are unfriendly and completely overwhelmed with serving the terrace. The servers wander around with the food and drinks and have no idea what each order is. The wait is very long for the food. When the food is finally served, it tastes great!

You should plan some time for your meal here. At 7:15 p.m., we ordered an appetizer and a Hawaiian pizza. The appetizer arrived fairly quickly and was delicious. At 8:30 p.m., the waiter came and told us the Hawaiian pizza was out of ham. We either ordered something else or nothing. We found that rather rude. The manager then apologized to us. The pizza was truly delicious, and even the ham was found again, with plenty of toppings.

Very good food and very friendly staff. I've been there several times, and it's always top-notch. And the fresh fish is superb.

Ristorante Salvatore in Wasserburg first scores points with its beautiful location. The seating is really pleasant, which generally creates a good atmosphere. The food was also okay: we enjoyed the pizza and pasta, and the quality was okay. Unfortunately, the positive impression was significantly dampened by the service. The waiter in charge was very unfriendly and unmotivated; we felt neither welcome nor well looked after. Attention and hospitality were unfortunately completely lacking. At some tables, guests were treated quite rudely. We only received the bill after asking twice, which further spoiled the overall impression. In summary, if you value a beautiful location and decent food, you'll definitely find what you're looking for here. However, if you're looking for friendly, professional service, you'll probably be disappointed at Ristorante Salvatore.

Absolutely amazing! The food is excellent, and so is the service. 🥂 Unfortunately, we were only able to go there once.

The food was good. But the wait time for the order was a disaster. The salad was served after about 20 minutes, and after another 20 minutes, two people received their orders (fish). I received my calzone after another 25 minutes, or about an hour after ordering. Everyone had already eaten their dishes, and I was just starting. Dishes should be served to each table at the same time. The waiters were very overwhelmed and didn't smile at all. If someone asked me what nationality they were, I would say they were very poor imitations of Italians.

The place is right on Lake Constance. The price/performance ratio is right. The service is attentive, friendly, and helpful. Reservations are recommended. You feel like you're in Italy. The pizza is heavenly. They also sell ice cream there. It's truly an experience. I've rarely eaten such good ice cream.

We went for ice cream today. It was busy, but manageable. It took a very long time for the ice cream to arrive. The servers were very disorganized; four different servers came to serve us. One server was ranting about other guests at our table because he had brought them the wrong ice cream, which is unacceptable! We were very disappointed with the service. The ice cream was okay.

We highly recommend this restaurant. The service, friendliness, and, above all, the food are excellent. We've been there several times, even without a reservation, and have never been disappointed. The child-friendly menu is also worth mentioning. We'd be happy to come back.

After a miserably failed attempt to order something, we finally tried again after many weeks. We even made a reservation for 6 p.m. After properly checking in, we were directed to a random table outside. I was actually really looking forward to a pizza, but after 25 minutes, there was no response from the waiter, and even the table next to us had alerted the waiter that we had been there first. I just think it's a total disgrace, whether you're a tourist or a local, this kind of service is absolutely terrible. Luckily, there are still a few good pizzerias in the area. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this place.

A beautifully located restaurant directly on Lake Constance, with very friendly service and a surprisingly generous portion of food. Although the restaurant was very busy, service and food came quickly.

The location is excellent. Reservations are recommended, especially in summer. We were served promptly. Attentive staff, drinks were never empty. The food was delicious. There was water for the dog. The restrooms were clean. A large terrace with a lake view. At the end, we were treated to a free shot of schnapps. We can't comment on the room; we were only there for dinner.

The best seafood spaghetti in the world! Spaghetti al dente. Plenty of high-quality seafood. Delicious sauce!

Despite having a reservation, we were seated at a dirty table. After 30 minutes, we had our first and last drinks. After two hours, repeated inquiries, and ultimately a vehement complaint, we finally got our food, which was merely mediocre. Absolutely not recommended!

Affordable price-performance ratio

For our anniversary, we wanted to go out for a delicious meal in the evening. We had been here two years ago and were very satisfied. This time, however, the restaurant visit was terrible. The restaurant was packed to the brim, the waiters were overwhelmed and had no overview and were wandering around with plates and drinks. The wait was extremely long for the food. A very rude waiter practically slammed the plates down on the table, cleared them without a word, and didn't ask how they tasted or if we wanted anything else. My partner got his pasta, and I got the pizza a good 30 minutes later... The only good thing was the location. The food was delicious. The manager was very nice, who listened to our complaint and acted in a conciliatory manner. Nevertheless, this restaurant visit was extremely disappointing for us.

Food very tasty but sometimes cold

Everything was great! The terrace was packed in the evening, but we wisely sat inside. The entire staff was more than accommodating. Drinks and food arrived in a perfectly reasonable time. We'd go back anytime.

We ate here in a small group of 6 people. We had both hot meals and dessert and drinks. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable considering we were on Lake Constance. We didn't have to wait too long for our food either.

The pizzeria is definitely recommended. From the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the harbor and Lake Constance. In the background, you can see the Austrian side of the Alps. The pizzas are truly delicious and very large. They taste very fresh. The service is very friendly and helpful. The service is quick and, as mentioned, the atmosphere is great. We'll definitely stop there again on our next vacation to Lake Constance.

Great, delicious cappuccino - delicious ice cream sundaes, but the younger waitress is too distracted and slow. Orders are simply forgotten at two tables next to each other...

We ate there twice this week with our little dog and received a friendly welcome. Delicious pasta and great pizza 🤩 I can't understand the bad reviews; after all, it's the summer holiday season, and you can expect to wait! Also, many guests aren't friendly to the waiters, so this probably comes back in kind :-) We definitely recommend the restaurant!

We stopped for a drink. The waiter with glasses was incredibly unfriendly. He had a sour look on his face. He knew exactly who to treat well and who not. We had to wait 20 minutes to order even though it wasn't busy. Part of the order arrived very quickly, and the waiters who brought it were very friendly. The Profiterol order didn't arrive until after everyone else had finished. They just threw it on the plate. Later, they came back with a second portion, which was beautifully presented with fruit. The first portion had no fruit at all. When I told him I'd already received mine, he took it away without any apology.

Delicious food and a great location. Unfortunately, the service is completely uncoordinated, both in the apartments and in the restaurant. As a guest, you have absolutely no idea where you stand.

Busy employees who seem to be doing everything at once. It's mainly a restaurant with a side hotel. We had to wait almost an hour for our room, with no explanation and without even being offered a glass of water in 30-degree weather. The employees were nice but somewhat disorganized. This was also reflected in the restaurant in the evening, where we also waited over an hour for drinks...the food came after two hours...it was very crowded...okay...but I haven't seen anything so disorganized in a long time. The apartment had a fantastic view of the harbor, which about 15 spiders loved so much that we let them use the balcony that evening.

Sunday 10 August, 1 hour before receiving drinks, a level of disorganisation and nonchalance with the serving staff which I have rarely seen.

We weren't served. When we asked, the answer was: "Mate!" I'm curious to see if Google will classify the truth as discriminatory again. Tip: The kiosk next door is better organized.

Great location, mediocre food, terrible service

Fantastic location with a view of the lake. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant. The food was very tasty, both pasta and pizza. However, the service was a bit taciturn and not entirely up to scratch. For example, you had to raise your voice when the drinks were all gone. The pasta arrived five minutes after the pizza, so I had to let my companion eat something first. Hence only 4 stars.

I've had some very good gluten-free meals there before. All pizzas and pasta are available as gluten-free options for an additional €2. The pizza is delicious and hardly distinguishable from regular pizza. The pasta is the same. I have celiac disease and have never had any problems or concerns. Highly recommended. :)

Ideal for holidays on Lake Constance

Unfortunately, we can't recommend this place. Reserving a table was straightforward. The drinks also arrived relatively quickly. However, we had to wait quite a while to place our order. In total, it took a good hour for our pizzas to be served. Other guests, who arrived even after us, had already had their food on their tables long ago. The bases of our pizzas were so hard that you could barely cut them with a knife. Overall, not recommended.

This was our second time staying there, both for lodging and for dinner. It was fantastic again. Everyone was very friendly and tried to accommodate us. Very clean rooms, delicious food, and my recommendation is the grilled fish platter. We've been to several restaurants on Lake Constance, and this is the best. The fish platter was really good for the quantity, and the taste was fantastic. Very, very tasty. Very good service.

We went there for dinner. The pizza was delicious. The place was very busy, and without a reservation, we unfortunately couldn't get a table outside. The restaurant was very busy, though. The waiters were always attentive, even though the place was so busy. Afterward, we had ice cream, and that was also delicious!

If I could give no stars, I would! The staff was extremely unfriendly! It wasn't really busy, but we weren't even noticed at all. Regular customers next to us were served immediately. If my parents hadn't been there, we would have left! Only after shouting did a waiter come to our table after 30 minutes. When it came to paying, the same thing happened again. After another 30 minutes and three requests, I finally went inside. Conclusion: Nice terrace, good ice cream, but arrogant, incompetent staff! Not again!
