Food is ok, but service has a lot of room for improvement. Terrace has a great view of the lake and the Alps. The restaurant is very nice inside.

The location is really nice and the ice cream tasted good - unfortunately the visit was marred by the service. We had to wait about 35 minutes before we could order and then another 30 minutes for our ice cream. The staff seemed stressed and unfortunately wasn't particularly friendly or attentive. It's a shame, because with better service the visit could have been much more pleasant.

The restaurant operates the public toilet next door. It was not possible to use it despite throwing in the required 50 cents. The door remained locked. The amount of money was lost.

We bought ice cream to take away here. Super friendly, great and unusual flavors, very tasty ice cream at a price like before Corona👍🏻 We can highly recommend it.

Were eating here, everyone had a pizza and an ice cream for dessert, very tasty and large portions. At the beginning the waiters came and at the end you had to look for them to pay... inside on the way to the toilet it was very nice, clean and well maintained. Would love to come back

Were there today for the first time and also the last time. Our table on the terrace was shaking non-stop. When I asked if they could do anything, they said yes, I'll take care of it right away, but they didn't take care of it until the end. The unfriendly waiter puts the food on the table without asking who it belongs to. Pizza was like, well, salad without dressing. The big thing was when he was paying when he said goodbye when I said I would get my money back then he was pissed off. (I'm not petty and like to give tips but if you're served so unfriendly then don't)

First-class Italian restaurant with fantastic pizzas, delicious salads, a good drinks menu and fast service. The pizzas are large, very tasty and even a man will fill up with them. As a gluten-free pizza, you get a very good-tasting home-made pizza, instead of the Schär ready-made pizza offered in many pizzerias. A beautiful view of Lake Constance towards Lindau and Bregenz completes the culinary experience. For dessert there are various dessert variations or you can grab a real Italian ice cream and enjoy a walk on the beach.

Super friendly staff and super delicious food! Even with a dog it wasn't a problem at all. I would happily recommend it!

Food very tasty, large portion, appropriate for the price

Once again very poor and incompetent service! A lot of patience was necessary, e.g. a long wait for the reserved (!) table, for the menus, for placing the order, for the drinks and the food... Baby calamari from the daily recommendation for €28.90 was a beautifully prepared but unfortunately lukewarm mini portion, the “Mediterranean” vegetable frozen food from the pack with hard princess beans, cauliflower and broccoli. We won't be coming back anytime soon, even outside of the tourist season. The great location on the lake does not compensate for the poor price-performance ratio and the poor service. Stay away from the daily menu!

The food is really very tasty. Hardly any waiting time and super friendly staff! Gluten-free pizzas and pasta are also possible. The best gluten-free meal I've ever eaten :) I can only recommend it! Of course there is a wonderful view of Lake Constance :)

Gluten-free food: Finally you can eat without worries again if you have celiac disease! I ate at this restaurant for the first time today with my husband - he usually goes alone as I have celiac disease and it's often a hassle to ask for gluten free options. This time I ordered a cappuccino and was politely asked if I would like to eat something. I explained that I have celiac disease - whereupon the waitress immediately told me that her boss was also affected and that's why they offer gluten-free dishes on the menu. And in fact: several gluten-free dishes were marked on the menu - with a small surcharge of 2 euros, which is absolutely fine if you can safely eat for it. I was so happy that I ordered some straight away - and it was incredibly delicious! I was finally able to go out to eat again without worrying. I was particularly pleased that there were even gluten-free cakes and homemade rolls - what a great restaurant! It's really rare to have so much choice when you have to do without gluten. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was really nice - located right on the lake. All in all, a wonderful visit that I can warmly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

Bruschetta was tasty but the ice cream could have used more flavor. There was also far too little chocolate sauce on the chocolate cup.

Spontaneously found a place on the terrace. Finally a large, cheap cappucino for this location. The bruschetta was also very well presented and reasonably priced. The same applies to the Aperol. Given the location on Lake Constance, I was positively surprised at the price-performance ratio.

One of the best arugula pizzas I've ever eaten. Yes, it costs just under €17, but it's also a nice size, and I'd rather eat a €17 pizza that sticks in my head and stomach than one for €12 that tastes run-of-the-mill. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also great. We'd love to come back.

Great gluten-free food with a wide selection: pizza, pasta, cakes, ice cream cones, and tortes(!). The work is done cleanly, so there are no complaints. The gluten-containing dishes are also delicious.

Went here every evening during our vacation in Wasserburg and were very satisfied. Both pizzas, appetizers and dessert were great and the employees were all friendly, thank you!

Although the food is delicious, you can't justify the wait of over 2 hours for an STARTER. The facility itself is chic, but both the planning of the evenings and the communication between the waiters and visitors are very vague. Arriving at 7pm and getting your starters at 9:40 is unacceptable. The main courses should also take another 30 minutes. With dessert you're at a minimum of 4 hours. Despite the good food, not recommended.

Take away food, rigatoni with minced meat sauce, hardly any minced meat, lots of pasta, smelled and tasted very strange, stopped after a few spoonfuls, had to throw up later...I think the sauce was over it

Update 2024: nothing has been lost in terms of service and comfort - always nice!! So cozy!! Italian flair in the menu and service. Varied menu and nice service. The food, especially the beautifully prepared dessert (in our case tiramisu) was very tasty.

Diese vielseitige Destination (Ristorante, Hotel, Eiscafe) hast es aktuell nicht leicht. Die Hauptsaison ist vorüber, dass Wetter mürrisch und vor der Nase wird gerade die Promenade von Baggern aufgerissen. Umso besser, dass wir schon mittags eingekehrt sind und Kleinigkeiten probiert haben, sowie Desserts. Uns hast es prima gefallen, Ambiente und Bedienung nett und sehr aufmerksam, Essen gut, nicht exzellent, aber dem Preisniveau angemessen würde ich sagen, dafür viele frische und tagesaktuelle Fisch- und Fleischgerichte, herausragend war jedoch das Tiramisu und das Eis war auch spitze, da versteht man sein Handwerk.

We were there twice and each time the service and friendliness of the waiters was top notch. The two of us had the large antipasti platter and were very pleased with the variety. The pizzas are as big as wagon wheels and the best pizza I've had in a long time. Afterwards there was a panacotta... wonderful... yes, there is construction going on on the beach at the moment... but the restaurant can't do anything about that, that's why I don't understand why it's rated. The house is very modern and well furnished and there is a large ice cream counter...we'll be back!!!

We (5 people) went there for pizza today. The food was great. Pizza very big. The leftovers that we didn't eat were packed up and given to us. So the food was great, the service was very friendly and accommodating. Will come again next year.

We've been vacationing in Wasserburg for several years and eat at da Salvatore's almost every evening. We appreciate the extremely friendly service and the great food selection and of course the implementation of the offer. We'll probably come back next year and are looking forward to the team and the food at da Salvatore.

Hello guys, we went here for ice cream yesterday. We were served quickly and the service was very friendly. Our little dog was also given a bowl of water without asking. The ice cream that was brought was very tasty and the price was right for me. The toilets were clean. Ok, the construction site is stupid. But they'll get done sometimes.

I was only in the restaurant a few times. Once I went for dinner with my partner and another time, we went there for coffee and ice cream. Ice creams tasted exactly as they were supposed to, full of flavour. The coffee was strong but very aromatic, typical Italian style. For dinner we ordered pizzas they also were great and delicious.

The Italian iced coffee and pizzeria is right on the beach and is therefore in a good location. When the weather is nice you can find a place on the fairly large terrace. The selection of ice cream and other dishes is varied and the quality of what we ate can really be described as very tasty. The service can only be praised: fast, friendly and very attentive. We'd love to come back.

Very nicely located. Even if there is currently a construction site in front of it. Pizza is also very good. Staff friendly and helpful. But apparently we waited a long time for drinks and food due to a lack of staff. So bring a lot of time and patience. I hope it gets better soon.

The staff was overwhelmed and unfriendly. Children's portions are not discussed with reference to the menu. Despite the empty terrace, five of us were brought to a small table. Requests for a larger table were not responded to. The whole thing is not recommended. We don't even want to talk about the prices.

We were in the mood for an Italian restaurant today and discovered it in Wasserburg and the location is of course great with a view of the lake. Be sure to reserve a table, it gets crowded in the evenings. The food was okay, the price-performance ratio is good given the location. The service is okay, a bit disorganized when it comes to reservations.

Wasserburg on Lake Constance is actually a beautiful place. Also where the restaurant is right next to the moated castle. Unfortunately, at this point, everything is being built. The restaurant can't help it that I only gave it 2 stars for location. I think it's worth checking out again in 2025. Then it will definitely be a wonderful place.

Ordered grilled fish there yesterday. It took about an hour from the time the order was placed for the food to arrive. That doesn't work at all. Otherwise the fish was good, as was the side dish. Sitting outside on the terrace with a view of Lake Constance is very nice. However, there is currently a construction site. The restaurant itself deserves more than 3 stars. The staff is very friendly and quick. But waiting an hour for the sole was too long for us.

We happened to pass it on our bike. We wanted to go to the ice cream parlor anyway and thought we'd try it out. There are absolutely no children's ice cream sundaes. When asked whether the spaghetti ice cream could be converted into a children's portion, it was a strict no. We should take a large one and add two spoons. Yes...well, my children didn't want the same thing. There weren't any more suggested solutions... 0 Customer-oriented, absolutely dissatisfied. We also left and didn't eat anything here. Nobody can tell me that you can't make spaghetti ice cream with just 2 scoops instead of 4. The ground was also littered with old pasta so take the path and cycle on to Kressbronn, our favorite eiderdown ❤️

Restaurant .appartementen. ligging.locatie is super. Hadden prachtig appartement met uitzicht op de bodensee. Heerlijk vers eten in het restaurant met zeer vriendelijke bediening. Echter lag om het gebouw zowel voor als achter alles opgebroken. Het was een grote bouwput en zo te zien was dat al eventjes bezig en nog lang niet klaar. De werkzaamheden begonnen om 06.00 s morgens tot ongeveer 17.00 s mindags. Uitslapen en rustig op je balkon zitten was er dus niet bij. Dit gelijk kenbaar gemaakt aan de verhuurder . Kreeg als reactie laat je vakantie er niet door verpesten. Nou die was verpest . Ben daar heel erg boos over . Was gewoon eerlijk geweest van te voren over die werkzaamheden. Dan hadden wij een andere datum geboekt . Was die overlast er niet geweest dan was het zeker de moeite waard geweest .

Visited the restaurant. Great view of the lake. Pasta was good. The Aglio, Olio y Peperoncino was ok, carbonara looked better. Carpaccio and Bruschetta was pretty good.

Da Salvatore is a very nice Italian restaurant that creates the Italian connection not through pictures of Capri nailed to the wall, but through the kind and attentive service that you are used to in restaurants in Italy. The menu is varied and, in addition to the Italian classics such as pasta and pizza, has other Italian specialties. Considering the portion size, the prices are more than reasonable. If you want to eat Italian food in Wasserburg, Da Salvatore is always the right place.

The ice cream is great, very original recipes! They could sell cheap ice cream in this situation and no one would complain. The fact that they don't do this shows their great love for the craft of ice cream making. We recommend the Amalfi ice cream made from Amalfi lemons, the best in the world, they say.
