Very nice Italian restaurant with a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea. The food is highly recommended and the service very attentive. Excellent value for money for the location, the delicious food, and the great service. The portions are quite large, and the tiramisu is absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Warnemünde.

€45 for two ice creams and three drinks is a bit steep. But you're paying for the location. The quality was okay.

Unfriendly service, food too expensive for the price and not what you expected

We had ordered two pizzas to go. The pizza was mediocre at best and far too expensive; I could have gotten it frozen at Edeka (and it was cold, too). When I went to the bathroom again, my companion was immediately ushered outside, which, in my opinion, was anything but customer-friendly. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience.

I have not seen pasta so bad. We got the penne with tuna and we got some barilla with canned tuna that was 10 worse than what you can make at home. If you are hungry please get a bread with fish from the nearby boats. I would add photos but I could not take some because I was so angry when I saw the food.

Italian arrogance beats service: For years, we've been fascinated by Mamma Mia and are practically regulars. When we returned, we could hardly wait to visit the restaurant and called to reserve a table on the terrace. The lady on the phone simply replied, arrogantly and reprimandingly: "Seniors, we don't reserve outside tables." When we replied that we have mobility issues, would have to walk 2km there, and after that, we absolutely needed a seat, we were refused. "We don't reserve outside – walk-ins always sit at the reserved tables. Bye!" That ended the conversation. Isn't it the restaurant's responsibility to at least keep reserved tables free? Especially if you have limited mobility? As a disabled person, shouldn't you also have the right to sit outside – like others do in nice weather – instead of in the overheated interior, where there's no air conditioning? Now, after so many years, we say "Ciao" and pass it on!

We had two delicious pizzas at Mamma Mia today and received excellent and very friendly service. It's a lovely little restaurant on the Alter Strom; you can sit outside and look out at the boats and the water. Mrs. La Farrera is a wonderful hostess; we were delighted with the olive oil for our wedding anniversary. Thank you so much!

It's become very expensive, the food isn't as good as it used to be, but the portions are smaller. It used to be a real insider tip, but now it's the same tourist trap as almost everywhere else in Warnemünde.

The ambiance rating is tainted by the pricing. The price of €19 for a carbonara primarily reflects the location's advantages rather than the quality of the dish. This observation applies not only to this restaurant, but to almost all restaurants along the Alter Strom. Nevertheless, a visit here is definitely recommended. The pizza was good, and the carbonara I ordered impressed with its authentic flavor. In my experience, caution is advised with Italian restaurants in tourist areas, as the quality of craftsmanship varies greatly. However, at Mamma Mia, there are no complaints about the food. You can dine here without hesitation and get decent value for your money.

I haven't had such bad pizza in a long time. Is this pizza from an Italian restaurant? I know plenty of other Italians who know how to make pizza. Pizza in Italy is bigger than a plate. Here, it's 1cm short of even reaching the edge. The toppings are very concentrated in the middle, leaving 2 to 3cm of topping left at the edge. The dough is dry and relatively tasteless. To charge €20 for a pizza like that is, quite frankly, a disgrace.

Good food, great location. That's where the positives end. We visited here twice with my child. We spent €90 for both visits. Whether that's a lot or a little is for you, ladies and gentlemen, to decide for yourself. However, it turns out I paid €90 for the disgusting behavior of a respectable lady (probably the owner of this restaurant). First, she turned on the air conditioning, which blew directly into my and my child's faces, even though it wasn't hot at all. I asked for the air conditioning to be turned off, which the lady clearly disliked. When she brought the bill, my five-year-old child grabbed it. This woman irritably snatched the bill from his hand. She spoke to me sharply and arrogantly, as if I had come to her home to ask for free food. The next day, we easily found another restaurant where we were served with a smile and warmth. But an unpleasant aftertaste remained. That's why I'm writing about it here. Perhaps this information about the unpleasant lady will be useful to other vacationers.

We went to Mamma Mia for dinner today with two children. It was busy and all the tables were occupied. The food arrived quickly, but in stages. First our eldest son's pizza, then a while later our parents' meal, and then a while later our youngest's pasta. The food was delicious. However, the portion sizes weren't worth the price. I found it very annoying that people were smoking at the other tables around us while we were eating with the children. Despite sitting outside, you can still smell the smoke, and it hangs under the umbrellas. This wasn't our first time here, and we're always very impressed. However, today will definitely be our last visit.

I went to the Mamma Mia restaurant with my family (six people in total) on July 24, 2025 – and we had a fantastic evening! 🍕🍝🥗🍨 The food selection was fantastic: We had various pizzas, fresh pasta, crisp salads, and delicious ice cream to finish. Everything was lovingly prepared, delicious, and served beautifully. The pizza, in particular, was a real highlight! The service was consistently friendly, attentive, and very warm – you immediately felt welcome. 😊 The ambiance was also cozy, with a charming Italian touch, and ideal for a relaxing evening with the family. 🇮🇹 Conclusion: An all-around successful visit – great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back! Keep it up! 👍🏻

We went to Mamma Mia for dinner. As for the service, I have to say we've been treated more warmly. The atmosphere and the atmosphere weren't as good. We felt more like we were disturbing the place. When our order was taken incorrectly and I was supposed to get a meal instead of a drink (a server error), the mood completely sank. Even though the server quickly clarified that it was their mistake, I ended up waiting longer for my drink. The prices are quite high in my opinion, but apparently typical for the region. Pizza costs around €17-20. The portions themselves are manageable. The food tasted okay, but nothing special, which would justify the high prices in our opinion. All in all, our conclusion: a mediocre restaurant and service, but high prices.

It's on Warnemünde's promenade, and it was really good, but the prices are also commensurate. The seating is very nice there, and the service is also very friendly.

Very friendly staff. The food tastes great. The location of the restaurant is excellent, hence a lot of customers. You can also sit outside when the weather is nice. If you like Italian food, this restaurant is the right place for you.

The two of us were here on May 6th, 2025 around 2 p.m. All tables empty in the restaurant, 2/3 of the tables outside. We had two very tasty pizzas and can recommend the restaurant without reservation! The staff was very friendly and the preparation time was absolutely ok. The pizzas were crispy, thin, well topped, including fresh mushrooms and very tasty. Recommendation? Absolute recommendation! Gladly again!

Hungry and thirsty, we stopped at this wonderful Italian restaurant. I drank my first Limoncello Spritz there and was very impressed. Previously I only knew the liqueur. The food was super tasty. The service was authentic and very accommodating. The little guests are also pampered. I'll be back.

Over the course of several years, I have eaten there again and again, including the last two days. Conclusion: pleasant atmosphere, attentive and very nice staff and of course very good prices that are completely justified for Warnemünde standards.

I don't think I've ever eaten as badly as I did here. I felt really sick to my stomach. The food was bland and didn't taste like anything. It was actually supposed to be a lasagna. What it was, I have no idea. Dry, without sauce. Just something gratinated with cheese. Almost 20 euros for the bad food. The portion was (fortunately in this case) very small. A children's portion. I didn't like the atmosphere either. Everything is very tight. The service was nice

The portion of carbonara for just under €17 is already steep and leaves something to be desired. The tiramisu is also just mediocre. Definitely too expensive for me for the quality of the dishes, but it didn't taste bad.

As always, delicious, friendly, and accommodating. We were there with friends and children. 9 people We all got our meals at the same time, and the food was delicious again. My wife and I went to Mamma Mia for dinner. It wasn't our first visit to this restaurant. But the food, the hospitality of the owners of Mamma Mia, the design of the restaurant and of course the very good food make us want to come here again and again. Located on the Alter Strom in Warnemünde, it is nice to sit outside in front of the restaurant and enjoy the time, even in summer. Our Labrador dog was also welcome. There was a bowl of water available for her. For us, a visit to Mamma Mia is part of every stay in Warnemünde. Thank you for the lovely time with you and your kindness..

We had two ladies who served us. Unfortunately, one was not in a good mood and was grim, the other was very friendly and in a good mood. The first lady's greeting was very irritating when she entered. As if we were unwelcome an hour before the kitchen closed. Let's hope she just had a bad day. The seating options are well separated from each other so that you can enjoy privacy at your table. The food includes decent Italian cuisine.

Every time we visit Warnemünde, a visit to Mamma Mia is a must. We were last there during our New Year's Eve vacation. We didn't have a reservation and got a table despite the restaurant being full. We were very well looked after during our visit. Drinks and food were brought very quickly. The food is really great! We love being there and enjoy one of the great ice cream sundaes in the warmer months! We'll be back!

The food was very tasty, especially the pizza and pasta. We found the pasta with salmon a little tasteless. The price is quite reasonable (pizza from around 15 euros), so plan on spending at least 20 euros per person.

There was the best spaghetti carbonara I've ever eaten so far. The pizza is also very good.

Pizza was great, Pasta Arabiata was pasta with tomato sauce and garlic pieces, nothing spicy.

The pizzas were very, very tasty and the service was just super nice. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a table straight away. All cards except Amex are accepted. 100% recommendation.

I was completely thrilled with Mamma Mia! I tried the Parma pizza and it was simply outstanding. The crispy base, the fresh ingredients and the perfectly matured Parma ham ensured a truly authentic taste experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very pleasant - you immediately feel welcome. A great place for anyone who appreciates good Italian cuisine! The only downside was the seat right in front of the toilet and at the entrance to the kitchen, which was a bit uncomfortable. That's why I don't give it full marks.

I am divided. The fish, we had cod, salmon and zander was delicious. The vegetable side dishes could have been more. In general the samples were very small. The noodles (just under €20 per portion) didn't even fill up the children. They were also very sober and tasted like almost nothing. No longer acceptable for the price. Service was nice and you didn't have to wait long.

Mamma Mia in Warnemünde is without a doubt the best pizzeria in town! I have to particularly highlight the salmon pizza – simply brilliant. The dough was perfectly crispy, the topping of fresh salmon and fine dill was perfectly balanced. If desired with chilli and garlic. I was really impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the portions are absolutely generous. The service was also very friendly and attentive, which made the entire experience even better. If you are in Warnemünde and want a first-class pizza, you should definitely visit Mamma Mia. Absolute recommendation!

The food wasn't bad but not particularly good either. What I was very annoyed about was the prices. Charging 17.50 for a simple dish like spaghetti with tomato sauce is completely excessive. I also don't understand my Pizza Tonno for over 17 euros. Otherwise the waiter was friendly and very talkative but not with us. I had to go there first to be able to pay. It's a shame we often go to Warnemünde, but no tourist likes to be ripped off.

Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, nice staff but the price is almost outrageous. €14.90 for pasta with tomato sauce and €15.90 for a salami pizza. As soon as 1-2 ingredients (e.g. mushrooms) are added, you quickly reach €18.90. Come to Warnemünde twice a year and have known the restaurant for 10 years. Over the last two years, all meals have become around €4 more expensive. It has to end somewhere. We're talking about pasta or pizza here and not saddle of venison.
