Food was great, we sat there drinking until late into the night, so great too. The prices are too high. The ambience is disturbed by the running around of the service staff. Otherwise nice.

Highly recommended, with a super friendly waiter who is not at all lacking in joie de vivre, professionalism and humor. The drinks and ice cream were delicious, came quickly and rounded off a lovely day in Warnemünde, so I would happily come back.

A nice traditional Italian restaurant. The service is extremely nice and quick. My personal highlight, the pizza topped with fresh ingredients and a fruity tomato sauce. It's great that homemade olive oil is always available at the table. A must if you come to Warnemünde.

We've rarely had such bad food (spaghetti with tomato sauce and gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce). I thought the tomato sauce was roux, pureed tomatoes and probably a little salt; the gnocchi were way too soft and the sauce barely had any gorgonzola in it. When asked, cream was mentioned as one of the four types of cheese for the quattro formaggi (which I didn't order). Our impression was that the food was cooked as cheaply as possible to just justify the name of the dish. We had to wait a little longer to be served, but all the tables were occupied and the waiter was friendly. When we asked, they brought us parmesan straight away (which the meal desperately needed). We didn't try ice cream (or pizza), so hopefully that's better.

Hansesail, masses of people, but yay, after a quick look we got a free table. The service was immediate, super friendly and quick. Prices are average. The food was very good. The pizza is highly recommended, but also the spaghetti in all variations. Mmmm 👌

We ordered a simple pasta dish with salmon. It really didn't taste like anything. Completely bland. Any ready meal would probably have been much better. We also ordered a pizza. The bottom here was totally floppy, similar to a pancake. We have rarely eaten so badly.

It's borderline crazy how naturally lasagna is offered here at a completely overpriced price. 18.90 euros for a mini portion full of no taste - not really recommended.

Pizza salami wasn't a hit. Noodles were ok. Alster didn't even walk past the lemon...

A nice cozy restaurant by the water. We had 3 pizzas and a lasange. The look was great. Unfortunately the food was very sober and the prices were very expensive. We hope the feedback gives cause for improvement.

Despite the very inconspicuous presentation, it is a wonderful restaurant with a fairly large selection of (authentic) Italian dishes. Particularly noteworthy here is the Pizza Siciliana (although the dough is a bit thin). The service was also very courteous and the restaurant overall was a real discovery.

Pizza cost €14 and tasted like it was from a delivery service that offers pizza burgers and kebabs at 3 a.m. Way too expensive for the quality. Definitely wouldn't come back.

The staff was friendly and we got a table even though we didn't reserve (5 P) and were immediately asked if we wanted drinks. We had pizza, which was delivered quickly and tasted very good.

We checked in advance on Google what was available in Warnemünde and what the reviews of the restaurants were. Accordingly, we had high expectations, which unfortunately could not be fulfilled during our visit. We were there around 6:30 p.m. and sat outside. We found the decoration of the tables outside to be sparse, which is a shame. It was more comfortable inside. The service was friendly, but not really attentive or present. The food - a pizza and spaghetti carbonara - arrived very quickly. The pizza was ok - there could have been a bit more toppings and the dough could have been crispier. A little more bacon would have been nice with the carbonara and for 16.90 euros we found the portion a bit small. We were surprised by a stand where there was only pizza and salad. When we asked, we were told that there was no fish or meat and that we didn't need to pay attention to the sign. Of course, our visit was only a snapshot. Maybe the service is better on other days and since taste is very subjective, someone else might see it completely differently. For us, the visit to this restaurant was average, so we chose the middle among the stars.

For me this is a real Italian restaurant that offers really authentic food. A small family business with friendly service. The prices, like all restaurants on the river, are not cheap. Still highly recommended.

The service was excellent. As soon as we were at the table and looked at the menu, the service was already ready to take the order for the drinks. The food reflected the service. The starter was bruschetta and the main course was pizza. Kids are also catered for with a children's menu. Portions are generous. The atmosphere outside and inside is very cozy and invites you to linger for a longer period of time.

Very friendly staff, nicely located with a view of the harbor and the hustle and bustle of Warnemünde. I just stopped for a quick stop and ate ice cream and drank a Campari Spritz. But it was very tasty. The food on the other guests' plates also looked very appetizing.

I was on holiday in Rostock with my wife for a week. We ate there twice and it was simply wonderful. The ice cream there is also very tasty and the owners and staff are super nice.

We always enjoy going there for dinner. It started with an ice cream sundae in the afternoon and now we enjoy the delicious food from lunch onwards. The owner and the staff are super friendly. Always a laugh for your guests. The calzone is great, but the other dishes are also very, very tasty. Drinking chocolate is new on offer. The purest chocolate flavor explosion! We are already looking forward to the next time and will stop there again when we are passing through in August! LG

We ordered a salami pizza to take away. She was ready within 15 minutes. But contrary to the menu information, it suddenly cost €15.90 instead of €10.90... Is that the tourist surcharge?! Taste okay. But never worth €15.90 in my life.

We were the first to eat there. The staff is very friendly. When it comes to the small, cute restaurant, it feels like you're coming to a friend's house. My partner had a pizza and I had a calzone. Even if everything is freshly prepared, you don't have to wait long for your food. It was very very tasty. Definitely worth a visit. Price/performance is completely okay.

To all future visitors 🫡 I want to share my impressions of the place where I spent my last dinner in this establishment 🍽️ we came to a very cozy place and sat down at the table, the menu was already lying and waiting for our choice from a wonderful walk, so to speak, to whet our appetite on Friday evening🙂 we started to the selection of dishes was stopped at the choice of pasta for a colleague and a cup of hot drink with dessert, with the regret of our German and a little bit of English 😅 they brought us a cold one, but we begged the waitress 🐍 who was passing by us to change it from cold to hot and here we felt racism from her and the storm of negativity from this person in our direction, so to speak, blew 🌬️with its lack of politeness, which erased everything good and cozy in this small establishment. After our so-called dinner, we resorted to Archimedes' law 🤫and left this establishment, and I decided to share only my impression of this restaurant …)*

The service was cold, seemed fake if at all friendly and you didn't really feel welcome. The food was bad. Absolutely not fresh, tasted like ready-made pesto, the "fresh tomatoes" on the menu were just 5 tiny cherry tomato halves, some of which tasted fermented. The taste was...kind of non-existent. Adding more salt made my pasta dish at least taste like salt. 17€ for a dish of this kind is simply cheeky.

Delicate freshly prepared waffles and hot chocolate in different flavors in the Italian manner are a delicacy. Good selection of wine and tea. And women who communicate with customers maintain a homely and cozy atmosphere)

Amazing Italian restaurant in the Am Strom region of Rostock, Germany. We tried a pasta, pizza brot and a Tiramisu in dessert. The dessert was as delicious as it could be.

We felt like pizza. What can I say? The pizza was mediocre, the dough should have stayed in the oven longer and the toppings were very sparse. It's like you're sitting in an alleyway, someone is constantly walking past you. The service needs improvement. The women are grumpy and make you feel unwelcome. Only the slim man with the dark glasses is super nice and attentive. All in all it's not worth going there. We won't come again

The lady who served us first was very, very unfriendly. When we asked in a friendly manner whether the table was still free, she didn't respond at all and mumbled to herself and gave us annoyed looks. Luckily a colleague came later who was friendlier. Sundaes were ok, but a bit expensive for the portion.

Hello, the food we had was all very tasty. The service here is also very friendly and you are taken care of very quickly. The ambience is just like everywhere else in restaurants when you sit outside at Alter Strom. We can recommend the restaurant without hesitation. The prices are just like everywhere else now.

It's always unbelievable to give 5 stars for everything but this time I had to do it... It was just a warm welcome when we walked in and we immediately got a table for 5 despite the house being almost full. We had everything from pizza to calzone to pasta with salmon and we were all more than thrilled with the quality and taste of the food. The service was courteous and not annoying. The ambience, the toilets, etc. everything is clean and more than tidy. I can only recommend it 100 times if you are on vacation here to eat here.
