Al Porto Risto Kiosk

This was our second time here in three days. All the pizzas were simply amazing, and the salad was delicious too. The service was super friendly, the prices were very reasonable, and the view was simply stunning. I highly recommend it. A true Italian restaurant on Lake Constance.

The pizza was excellent. The service was very attentive and good. The ambiance loses one star because tourists are constantly walking by.

The location right on the harbor is definitely a highlight – with a beautiful view of the water, but you should be aware that it's not exactly quiet or relaxed, especially during rush hour. Unfortunately, our visit was largely overshadowed by the wait. We had to wait almost 45 minutes for two pizzas – definitely too long for a takeaway restaurant. It was particularly disappointing that another couple, who had ordered well after us, received their pizza before us. The pizza itself tasted solid, the dough was well-made, and the toppings were fresh. The Napoli pizza, however, was considerably too salty. Overall, the culinary experience doesn't really justify the wait, even though the location and concept are actually promising. Conclusion: If you have time and don't have high expectations for seating and peace and quiet, you can enjoy a good pizza with a beautiful view here. Not really recommended for a quick bite or a relaxing evening during rush hour.

The pizza itself actually tasted good, albeit a bit oversalted. Unfortunately, the positive impression was significantly dampened by the rest of the visit: We had to wait over 40 minutes for two pizzas, while other guests who arrived after us had already been served. The pizza chef, who works directly behind the counter, was particularly negative. Hygiene doesn't seem to be a priority for him – he repeatedly reached for his smartphone, smoked in between, and we didn't see him wash his hands. Most annoying, however, was the unprofessional behavior towards female guests: While our table had to wait, others, especially tables with attractive women, were given preferential treatment. The baker even personally delivered the pizza to our tables and chatted at length with the women. The bottom line: Good pizza, but the service and behavior of the staff left a very poor impression.

I don't understand the good reviews here; I came here specifically for this reason. I didn't see the waiter for 20 minutes and had to wait forever. I ordered a pizza with chanterelles. What can I say? The pizza base with cheese and a few chanterelles tasted absolutely nothing. I would have preferred to get something else. It's a shame, but I won't be coming here again.

Delicious Neapolitan pizza in the shade of the trees with a view of the lake and harbor. All things considered, it's very good value for money. We'd be happy to return!

Lured by the good reviews on Google Maps, we tried this place – and went back the very next day. The pizza is truly first-class, the prices are reasonable, and the service is very, very friendly. With the Italian background music and the view of the harbor, you feel like you're in "Bella Italia." No wonder you have to be lucky to get one of the coveted tables on some days.

The Italian cuisine is good, plentiful, and reasonably priced by Lindau standards. The service is excellent (no self-service). All this, combined with a prime location by the harbor, means that after a few visits, I'd give it a solid 5 stars!

Oleck, that was so incredibly good! The pizzaiolo served me one of the best pizzas in recent years, wow, childhood vibes. Unfortunately there is no Pizza Tonno on the menu, but there was Tonno on the daily menu. So I asked if they would make me a Tonno Pizza. This was honestly the best pizza I've had in Naples and elsewhere in years. I can only say thank you and hope that the boss will add the Tonno Pizza to the menu.

The pizzas are very good with a thick layer of homemade dough. I highly recommend their pizzas. We have a very beautiful view of the lake and the port!

We were there for lunch and had a nice spot at the harbor. The food is good - not outstanding but completely okay for this small restaurant.

Great place for an evening drink, the food looked delicious, but we didn't have it.

With the best view, pizza, pasta, vini e amore. A very cozy little kiosk that conjures up the Italian lifestyle directly in the port of Lindau. You sit relaxed in the front row, so to speak, by the water and can completely satisfy your culinary demands! The service was attentive and very friendly even though all hell broke loose yesterday. We stumbled upon this cozy Italian Risto kiosk at the Lindau harbor and were pleasantly surprised! The service was incredibly friendly, and the menu was both authentic and well-curated. The snacks were of excellent quality—super fresh and delicious. A perfect spot for a relaxed bite with a great atmosphere. We can highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

When I arrived I politely asked about the opening times, to which I was replied in an unfriendly tone “what do you want to order”. When I answered that I would actually like a gin and tonic, I was told “my God, just say what you want”. The waitress then wanted to charge €10 for this gin and tonic, even though the price on the menu was €9. After I pointed this out to her, she said “Sorry boss said €10”. After a short discussion, she charged the correct price of €9. I really don't know if the boss had a bad day, but such behavior is absolutely unacceptable and leaves a very bad impression of German tourism. I only give it 2 stars because of the great view of Lake Constance and the lion statue.

Delicious light italian food and drinks. Polite service. One of our pizzas had a burnt side and the chef gave that for free. Very customer friendly. Props to the waiter that can speak a hundred languages including fus’ha Arabic!

Al Porto is a pizza kiosk on the island of Lindau. Food: Unfortunately the selection for vegetarians and vegans is very small, a pizza vegetariania with plenty of vegetables would be desirable. The Margharita lit extra buffalo mozzarella we ordered was delicious, but the price was reasonable at €14. The Aperol was also expensive, you shouldn't expect kiosk prices here. Service: Our service was quite stressed and gave us some incorrect information about the map. Ambience: Nice view of the harbor, but rather uncomfortable seats and relatively little space.

The pizza was great. Price performance can't be beat. If you don't try it yourself, you're missing out!!!

There's really almost nothing to complain about. Food definitely 5/5. Service is also quite good and the view is also very good. The only things I find bad: There are smokers because there is no indoor area. That's too bad. And the tables are not straight at every seat. But it's not something I would give one star less. And it's not the restaurant's fault that there are smokers. If you want to eat a pizza with a fluffy edge, this is the place for you. This is exactly how a pizza should be.

We had dinner there on July 25 and the place is unbeatable, in the port, next to the boats and the lion that watches over the port next to the lighthouse. The treatment of the waiters was very attentive and friendly, both the girl and the boy who served us. They are Italian and we saw how they speak in German, Italian with the clients and even in Spanish with us. Both the pasta, pizza and salad we ordered were very good. Good price to be in an idyllic place. Pleasant music and good atmosphere. 100% recommendable.

Al Porto has now become our favorite place because the service is great, the food is great and they have the best cappuccino in the city. Sitting here in the evening and drinking a delicious cocktail right by the water is simply wonderful. In addition to the menu, there is also a changing weekly menu with additional dishes. From pizza, delicious salads, fantastic fish dishes and antipasti platters to fries and hamburgers, everything is delicious here. We love it here and say thank you to the always nice Al Porto team

Sometimes you have to wait a bit But you always have something to look at and time seems to go by quickly. The food is great, not run-of-the-mill cuisine. Everything fresh and delicious.
