Excellent service and delicious food in the restaurant. Beautifully located in Meersburg's old town, not directly on the promenade, so it's not overcrowded. Excellent service from the waiters. I'm a restaurant guest, so I can't comment on the rooms, but the restrooms were very well maintained!

We only visited the pizzeria. Service was good, the pizza was a bit dry for our taste, and the toppings were plentiful (I even had to remove the garlic cloves because there were so many large ones). Conclusion: It doesn't suit my taste in pizza. Prices are high, as everywhere else. I think a children's pizza for €8.50 is pretty reasonable.

We spent a week on vacation here in Meersburg. Except for one time, we ate here every evening and were never disappointed. In fact, the food was always top-notch, whether it was pasta dishes, various pizzas, or the appetizer (bruschetta). If you like pizza, I recommend La Bomba; it's simply excellent. The staff is super friendly and caters to every need, even when the restaurant is busy. Some others could learn a thing or two from them. I, or rather we (my wife and daughter), will definitely eat there when we're back. And please don't just look at the negative reviews; if you're in Meersburg and fancy Italian, then see this place for yourself.

A spontaneous visit – an absolute hit! We came here spontaneously after visiting the local castle museum. Without a plan for where to eat, we chose this Italian restaurant – not directly on the promenade, but in a quieter side street. The reason was honest: we didn't want to pay the typical tourist prices. And what can I say? It was worth it! The value for money is excellent, the food was truly delicious and definitely homemade – and with talent. I would have loved to order a second dish. The atmosphere is quaint, warm, and somehow authentically Italian. The service was super friendly and absolutely accommodating. While there was no lake view, the food was honest, good in a cozy setting. A definite recommendation – I would go back anytime!

We ate here several times during our vacation, and each time there was room for us. We arrived quite late twice, but were still treated excellently each time. The food was phenomenal every time, and my wife and I both have high standards, as we are both trained restaurateurs. We can't comment on the rooms, as we unfortunately stayed at another hotel. If we didn't live so far away, we would come here much more often.

In a world of mediocre places that charge too much, Metsburg stands out. It's the place you come back to, where you bring friends, where you celebrate. I was amazed by the quality and welcome of Pizzeria Taverna in Meersburg. From the first moment, the warm and familiar atmosphere made me feel at home.

The pizzeria is located in Meersburg's old town. The outdoor seating is a bit cramped. We had a pizza capricciosa and a casa, among others. My children are familiar with the pizza capricciosa, as they usually eat it at pizzerias. So I didn't look at the individual ingredients. The pizza looked good, but my son pulled a face after the first bite. The toppings included various seafood: calamari, shrimp, etc. I asked the waiter if we had perhaps received the wrong pizza. He informed us that this is how the capricciosa is prepared at this pizzeria. Overall, the pizzas were okay. I liked them, but the kids didn't.

Simply fantastic, and the staff were all very accommodating. We were only there for dinner. However, everything I heard and saw also applies to the rooms.

If I could give zero stars, I would! The four of us wanted to eat, and there were seats available outside, but we were coldly turned away – without explanation or consideration. The only thing they told us was: "I can't push two tables together for only four people." And I was in really bad health in 30-degree heat and a four-hour drive to Meersburg. You don't treat guests like that. We found it disappointing and simply inhumane. I wouldn't recommend it.

A lovely, cozy restaurant in Meersburg's old town. They serve delicious Italian food here—the pizza is a dream! The service was very attentive and took excellent care of us. We were completely satisfied and will definitely be back! :)

The restaurant is located directly in the pedestrian zone not far from the lake. Unfortunately, we found the seating outside a bit cramped and the toilet area could use some modernization. The food tasted good. The pasta and fish dish were particularly delicious. The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

An authentic corner of Italy in Meersburg! Pizzeria La Taverna is a welcoming and well-kept Italian restaurant, where you can breathe true Italian hospitality. This evening I tasted some seafood tagliatelle prepared by chef Bruno: a simply exceptional dish, rich in flavour, with fresh ingredients and a perfect balance between pasta and seasoning. The presentation was inviting and the taste even better! The service was impeccable, friendly and professional. A gastronomic experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Germany. Five well-deserved stars!

An absolute insider tip! The tiramisu is absolutely amazing – homemade, super fresh and simply delicious. Bruno's lasagne is amazing, there's no other word for it. And I'm really critical when it comes to lasagna - but I've never had one like it. Also the pasta dishes: homemade, fresh and of the finest taste. Every visit here is a real experience. If you love good food, you should definitely stop by. We would love to come back – keep it up, La Taverna!

8 of us went to dinner, fantastic pizzas, like the first courses, the place looks rustic and very well looked after, friendly staff, we were greeted immediately by a young man and seated "without a reservation". A small representation of Italy in a small German town of great charm, if you are looking for a place where you can taste typical dishes of our cuisine even if you are abroad I highly recommend this place.

The food tasted great, but it cost us the whole vacation. My father repeatedly vomited in the evening and the following days and struggled with nausea, and my husband had to go to the hospital that night. It cleaned it completely and had to vomit for three days, so it lay completely flat. Holidays were completely ruined thanks to this visit to the restaurant. Great, if you can only go away once a year... I'm glad that the children didn't have the same things as my husband and father. The veterinary office hadn't found anything, but the restaurant had been closed for two days. It was then probably freshly cooked again. But on the day we were there, it probably wasn't... that's hard to cope with when your little vacation is ruined so much and possibly even becomes life-threatening. A Ravensburger-Spielland card also worked out.

This review is for the restaurant only. The prices are massively high, but the portions are large. The tomato sauce on the pizza tasted unseasoned. The pizzas were all bland. An Italian that I would definitely avoid at home. EDIT: the way you deal with criticism reinforces my opinion even more.

We stayed in Meersburg for 3 nights, and we had 2 dinners here. The seafood pizza, fish soup (actually no fish but only sea food) and Tagliatelle are all very well done. Ingredients are super fresh, I grew up at a seaside place so I can tell this is good stuff, you taste the sea! Portion is generous. Price very fair for the quality and location. Very nice and warm atmosphere, very cozy. The waiter is very friendly. We are definitely coming back next time we visit Meersburg

We only used the pizzeria, but I am very disappointed. We ordered pizza and appetizers, but the appetizers were not served in advance, they were brought together with the pizza :/ to make matters worse, the garlic bread was burnt, it tasted more like garlic. The pizza itself was neither good nor not good, bland. The staff avoided us very much, despite the low occupancy of the place. I don't understand why we were served by 3 different people who did not exchange information with each other. We also had to wait a long time for the bill because the waiter slightly forgot while talking to the cook...

Unfortunately that wasn't the cook's best day, we were there on August 10th. to eat here. Salad came completely without dressing and ingredients that were listed in the menu were missing, for over €15 that was a really bad performance. Pizza Salami came without salami. After being informed, the pizza was brought back in and 30 seconds later taken out again, topped with 4 slices, nothing more happened, that was cheeky and rounded the whole thing off. The second star goes to the service, the young man tried everything and made an effort, but our table wasn't the only one with problems and he was fighting a losing battle. Overall, this restaurant was the worst during our vacation, we definitely won't be seeing it again.

Never had such good lasagna! My Thun friend's spaghetti all'arrabbiata also tasted excellent. Even my Maltipoo Momo was pampered. We'd love to come back.

We had a very nice dinner here. Together with my wife and my son (1), we were very well served and never felt unseen. We had the seafood spaghetti, margarita pizza and the garlic bread. Everything was excellent, I would especially like to recommend the garlic bread. Unfortunately you cannot tip with a card. That would be our only point of criticism. We'll come again!... With cash 😉

Delicious pizza and various salads including caprese, bruschetta, lasagna and tortellini. The location inside is very nice, with rustic style and very kind and qualified staff.

Unfortunately not recommended. We went there for pizza last night. I had a Pizza Casa, my husband had No. 6 and my two children had a salami pizza. The pizza was rather average: The dough was a bit flaky, there were no spices and the cheese also lacked flavor. So we've eaten better ones. The price-performance ratio was ok and the service was also friendly. But now to the biggest problem: My husband said on the drive home that the pizza was heavy on his stomach. At that point I was still fine. But the end result was that we all threw up tonight and that definitely had something to do with the pizza! Something about it wasn't good anymore! It may have never happened before, but it really hit us hard and I definitely won't be eating there again!

We (3 people) ate in the restaurant. The food was good. But we found a piece of metal in the noodles that was sharp and spiraled. That's not good at all. Luckily we found it, otherwise it would definitely have damaged the stomach. We have reported this issue to staff. Unfortunately we didn't get a reason or an answer for the piece of metal in the food. This is not acceptable at all. We saw many small children eating in the restaurant who are younger than our daughter. Food safety is very important. We would not recommend the restaurant.

Spaghetti Pescatore and Pizza Chef. If you like seafood you will love both. It's not like you have to look for seafood under a mountain of spaghetti, but rather the other way around. Taste is very good, price/performance is absolutely top.

Once again a nice example of how passion is worth much more than stylish looks: our starter, which the four of us wanted to share, was "just" expanded to a more than sufficient size, the four main courses (4× fish) were all Cooked on point and fantastically seasoned and to top off the no-frills, but absolutely perfect service, there were two chocolate cakes on the house at the end - just like that, out of joy and hospitality. Needless to say, the portions satisfy even good eaters and the prices are actually a joke in the most positive sense. Really great, we'll be back!

The extremely friendly service cannot be topped: every wish, no matter how small, was fulfilled immediately, requests for changes to the starters and main courses were fulfilled in an exemplary manner (in terms of quality and quantity!). The dishes served were visually very appealing, the quantity was more than sufficient and the taste was simply great! If you then take into account the dessert served at the house's expense, the overall rating can only be 6 stars 🌟, unfortunately "only" 5 stars can be awarded. Our next visit to Meersburg will take us here again.

Kleines Hotel, mitten in der Innenstadt von Meersburg. Sehr zentral gelegen, alles kann fußläufig erreicht werden. Saubere Zimmer, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal .Sehr gerne wieder.

Wir haben die Pizzaria spontan gefunden. Die Nudeln für 2 waren sehr lecker. Die Lasagne war schön vielschichtig und deshalb auch sehr köstlich. Die Pizza hatte leckeren Käse und war aufgrund dessen auch sehr Appetitlich. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super und die Bedienung war auch nett.

Restaurant 🇮🇹sans prétention mais qui fait le taff. Les plats de pâtes sont bons, les pizzas sont bien fournies. Il y a possibilité de manger des pâtes aux fruits de mer pour 14€. Service à table très respectueux.
