Delicious food. Excellent value for money.

Always delicious! Today I ordered delivery and was surprised by the long estimated delivery time of over an hour. So I called to ask if it would really take that long. In the end, the food arrived in less than half an hour! Now that's what I call amazing service! Thank you so much!

Average food, abysmal service, and an atmosphere reeking of prejudice. The manager and staff display open hostility toward Indians, making this place an embarrassment to the idea of an Indian restaurant. What they serve isn’t authentic Indian cuisine at all—just bland, curry-powder-laced imitation served with arrogance and ignorance. A disgraceful establishment hiding behind a false cultural identity.

I would have given a negative star on service quality and experience, the most pathetic service, no manners in talking to a customer. Horrible experience and never to step in again nor will recommend this to anyone. Also, experienced racist behavior which is unacceptable at any cost.

Worst experience in my lifetime. Never seen a waiter behaving so rude. It’s one particular waiter who is having issues. He seems to be a racist and having problems against Indians in particular. I see many people complaining the same but looks like the waiter is still behaving in similar manner. I liked the food but hospitality is 0.

We've been there several times. The dishes are very tasty. The lamb dishes are highly recommended. Tender meat and well-seasoned. Sometimes the service is a bit slow if you're sitting a bit off to the side, but there are helpful bells at the table.

Very good food, with a large selection of vegetarian dishes. There were four of us there, and we had a varied selection of starters and main courses. Everything tasted very good and the prices were reasonable. A definite recommendation; the staff was also very attentive and friendly. We would gladly return.

We were on a short vacation, were at the Opel Zoo, and by chance ended up eating at the Crown of India in Eschborn. Everything was perfect! I was very impressed. The food was incredibly delicious. The lamb dish was spicy, and the lamb was very tender and flavorful. The Chicken Madras was wonderful...but if it says it's spicy, then it is 😝 Although everyone has different preferences. The rice is practically unbeatable 👍 The service was very, very friendly, and the espresso was on the house! The price-performance ratio was absolutely spot on. In my opinion, a fantastic Indian restaurant. Highly recommended!

Dining at an Indian restaurant is a wonderful experience. A rich menu is served, and you choose your delicious meal and have it served.

I love the indiscretion kitchen and must say that the butter chicken was incredibly delicious. The service was also very good. Highly recommended. 😊❤️

Heart of Eschborn I had an excellent dining experience at Crown of India in Eschborn. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with elegant décor, soft lighting, and tasteful Indian artwork that really sets the mood. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made me feel welcome right from the start. I ordered a freshly poured Schöfferhofer Weizen, which was crisp and perfectly chilled. The food was the real highlight – beautifully presented and full of authentic flavors. My curry came in a traditional copper pot, kept warm over a small flame, which was a great touch. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the naan was soft, warm, and freshly baked. Every bite had the right balance of spices and freshness. This is easily one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve visited in Germany. Whether you’re here for a casual lunch, dinner, or a drink from their cocktail menu, it’s worth the visit. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Unfortunately, I can't really recommend the starters. The dips served with the papadums weren't good at all. The green dip had no flavor, and the traditional southern dip was more like marmalade. The lentil soup had a slight Maggi flavor. The main courses, however, were tasty.

Super unfriendly welcome by a guy who walked away while I was talking to him. The air condition is broken, too. On top, information in google maps is not accurate (opening times)

The best Indian restaurant I know! The service is fantastic, the food is absolutely top-notch, and even ordering delivery doesn't affect the quality at all! The food arrives piping hot, and everyone there is nice, friendly, and accommodating. They take great care of you.

The food tastes good, but this is the third time I've explicitly ordered "NOT SPICY." Sometimes it actually isn't spicy, but this comment is usually ignored, forgotten, or not understood (?). It's just annoying because the food is then inedible. But you can't get a refund from Lieferando either.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience on our visit to this place. The waiter was extremely rude and had no interest in serving us. Firstly he gave us a very small table of 2 when we were actually 4 people although half of the restaurant was empty, still we accomodated and sat. After that he got further rude when he started taking order. So we decided to leave the place ,when we started leaving he started shouting and saying yes get out we have many customers we do not need you. I have a feeling he was specifically racist against Indian people which I also confirmed with other people.

My wife and I had dinner at Crown of India Eschborn last night. We were greeted warmly, served quickly, the food (we were asked how spicy/spicy we liked it) came quickly and it tasted exactly as we had imagined (really delicious). We'd love to come back

Great food (lots of vegetarian and vegan options too) ! Courteous and friendly service. Pick-up orders are on-time and lunch time offers are practical and economic. Of the many dishes, I recommend Rajma Chawal, Palak Paneer and Channa Masala...

I don't write reviews that often. But if something so cheeky happens to us, others are welcome to notice it too. We had a gourmet block! included. We got there around 6 p.m. There was only one table for two occupied in the restaurant. We ordered chicken curry and fish curry. Both dishes tasted okay. When we wanted to pay, we pointed out, as per the Schlemmerblock rules, that we wanted to pay and that we had a Schlemmerblock with us that we would like to use. Now everyone felt they had to stand in the way because the word "SHOW" is in the rules, which from the operator's point of view means that you have to show the block before you order the food. Then we explained to him that you can show your ID card, for example, and that the word "BEFORE" in this context has nothing to do with showing "before" or "after". The entire team from the Crown of India Restaurant stood in front of us and grinned at us so stupidly, as if we didn't speak German. In order not to ruin the evening, I didn't want to get involved in the discussion anymore because everyone was very insistent that they were right. And for €14.50 I would have been too embarrassed to call the police because the police certainly have better things to do. And last but not least, we came out to the parking lot, where we were parked by an employee. Then we were allowed to go in again, already humiliated, and ask if someone would please let us out. All in all, my wife and I have absolutely no desire to go to this restaurant anymore. And please, if you have a voucher, it's best to ask beforehand, preferably by phone, whether you can redeem it, then again as soon as you set foot in the restaurant and then again when you order the food. Maybe you'll have better luck. I think the people there just try to get money from customers by all means possible because there are simply not enough people there. And if the managing director would like to take another look at the dictionary, I have attached a picture.

Have tried their Lunch box menu which was advertised as offer for weekday lunch. But unfortunately they try to make it very cheap. Dal makhani in the menu was like Sahne mixed with Dal. It was just tasting like milk. Can be easily seen in picture how they made it.. when I called them to inform over phone just to give an feedback for improvement. Restaurant manager was very rude mentioning they are selling hundreds of lunch box every day with same quality.. that shows they never want to improve even after so many negative reviews. Atleast I hope Owner takes this review seriously...

A star is not a star. We had purchased a mobile voucher, which is valid for 30 days after activation by us. The service staff is unable to devalue it. Or did she just not feel like it? The food tasted really good, but the waiting times were far too long – both when ordering and when preparing it. However, the service was particularly disappointing. The staff was extremely unfriendly, seemed incompetent and hardly responded to our requests. It took forever for someone to clear up and even simple things like salt and pepper had to be asked for several times. If only part of it is brought, it is very frustrating. Unfortunately, the poor service leaves a very negative overall impression. There is definitely room for improvement.

Super expensive tea and water! I feel ripped off after paying 7.8€ for 2 tea cups and 6.90€ for 1l water bottle. The tea was a good 2 out of 5 and not worth a second try. The bottled water was also not that good and tasted like tap water. We wanted to drink some tea and found this place nearby so wanted to try it out. When we went inside the waitress said they don't serve only tea. When we were about to leave, just at the door, a guy from the restaurant called us back in. We thought we would have a nice service and time but this place ended up shocking us. We ordered two tea and a big water bottle but made a mistake of not asking the price first (there was also no menu on the table nor given to us to see first). Never going back or recommending to anyone again!

Very tasty food and very good service

The food is very tasty, no question. I've been there several times, but the last few times I've been more and more disappointed by the service. Very rude. Cheeky sayings to young women about doing the dishes. I should pay in cash rather than with a card and last but not least there was a celebration in the restaurant. Couldn't hear my own word. Children ran around screaming and the toilet became a changing room. I really like the food, but I don't want to eat there anymore for now.

Have eaten there several times. It was very tasty. Chicken Korma and Mango Chicken very good to excellent, with plenty of sauce and plenty of meat. Service quick and friendly - as always. Crown of India is a good restaurant. With the 1* reviews, I'm guessing it's trolls or competition. Anyway, we'll be back. A farewell goody came with the bill. Have never seen or eaten anything like it. Small "pearls", sweet and with fennel and anise flavor. Very nice and quite tasty.

Would have given zero stars if that was possible. They seem to control what their customer would order to eat. We were a group of 4 and wanted to order tea with snacks around 4:30pm . But the staff was so strict about the fact the unless a full meal is ordered nothing else would be served.

Super delicious authentic local food. But also great for ordering. Good portion sizes. Everything very warm. Super friendly service. Very attentive. Delivery also great. Would come again and again. You can also sit outside. Accommodate special requests. Thanks for that.

Service was prompt but asks of the customer could be respected and could have paid attention. Asked for the dish to be spicy but the chef made it way too spicy that made me sweat. Also asked the waiter to pack the whole food but that was disregarded when it came to the sides. Could be better!

It is one of a resteraunt, i would never like to go again. Service is very bad and the food is no better. Interior of the resteraunt is quite good.

Very nice restaurant with delicious food, even if it is a bit expensive. The cellar seemed a bit annoyed. Contrary to what the menu suggests, the cola does not come as a 0.33l bottle but in a 0.3l glass.

The manager of the restaurant is very, very rude. We order food from them almost every other day just because the food is Indian. Only today we wanted to have the order canceled. But the boss didn't accept this and was very rude.

However, on my last visit I was advised - possibly by the boss himself - not to come back next time due to my small order quantity. I was also told that no employee would take or serve my order in the future. I'm sorry, but regardless of the size of my order, every customer should be respected. It is important to be grateful that customers choose this restaurant and leave their money there. After all, we don't eat for free. It would be good to learn a lesson from other cultures such as Italians or Asians. Unfortunately, I have noticed this behavior several times in Indian restaurants in Frankfurt. The bosses often seem too arrogant. No wonder Eschborn is often so empty. It's a shame! THE CUSTOMER IS KING. Please don't chase us away, thank you!

Extremely poor service, the people in the restaurant asked us to go out as the order was very small and they wouldn't take our order. As they put it: “The restaurant staff says you order for 20 euros and let us clear the table.” They judge the customer based on the order quantity. This is not the right restaurant if you don't order a lot... very arrogant people. No wonder their rating is very bad. -------------++++++-- Extremely worst service, the restaurant people asked us to get out mentioning the order is very less and they will not take our order. As in their words "you order for 20 euros and make us clean the table" They judge the customer based on the order volume. This is not the restaurant to go if you don't want to order in high volume.. very arrogant people. No wonder their review is very bad.

Arrival at the restaurant: 6.30 p.m. Order placed including drinks at 6:50 p.m Some of the drinks came at 7:30 p.m. and some didn't come at all. The food came at 8:30 p.m. The service was not good and became slightly aggressive when asked repeatedly about the food. Left so much money to be treated badly and to waste 2 hours. You didn't even get anything on the house as compensation! You really can't plan a birthday dinner there because Lieferando customers seem to be better served than customers in the store!

After the branch in Liederbach was unfortunately closed, we often ordered from Eschborn. We used to enjoy the food better in Liederbach. The last time I ordered, part of the order was forgotten. Unfortunately, there was no feedback/reaction from the operator to our numerous attempts to complain. There was also a large pebble in the curry that I bit on.

The behavior of the waiter is too Rude... They are too specific what a customer should order and eat and one waiter out of them permits customers about what they can eat and drink. Last time i checked Restaurant is a place where u can order anything and eat but that's not the case with this place... Suppose if u order only tea ( cause its Indian rest and u crave for Indian tea) he will say no its not allowed just to drink tea here u should order to eat as well as this is. Restaurant...

Danger: So far we have always been very satisfied with the food from Crown of India in Eschborn, which is why we have ordered here several times via Lieferando. Unfortunately this time we had very severe food poisoning, which started about two hours after eating!

Extremely rude people who don't know how to behave with customers. The Person who is delivering shouts at customers. The person who receives calls doesn't care about feedback from the customer on his food delivery guy. Worst experience ever.

Great ambience. Delicious authentic Indian food. We went there on Sunday evening and the place was moderately busy. The staff was friendly and polite. We enjoyed the food and the cozy ambience. Definitely recommended!

We ate there for the first time and after this time it will probably stay that way. The food itself was actually very tasty, as we know and love from Indians, but the service… just catastrophic. As starters we had the balls and a soup. Unfortunately no chicken but cashew nuts in it, which was delicious. Everything else is a matter of taste. One main course was ordered without tomatoes and instead with champions and the other was requested without raisins. Very tasty in itself, but the gentleman who took our order didn't get it right even after clarifying it the third time. Unfortunately everything was mixed up and one meal had to be returned. So my partner finished eating before I had mine on the table. When it came time to pay, we waited 10 minutes (with three employees and a shop that wasn't even half full). The waiter who picked us up (a slightly younger one) didn't say anything and left without saying a word (even with a tip, but politeness should prevail in such an atmosphere even without a tip). We are used to saying goodbye to customers or smiling at them. Maybe some variety in the music too.

The food tasted okay. Not particularly. The biggest disaster is the service. We ordered number 51 which is Chicken Tikka. The waiter asked again which number. We explained three times chicken tikka number 51. 30 minutes later while plating the dishes he asked where the biriyani (a rice dish) should go. We told him that we didn't order biriyani. 20 minutes later he came back and said you ordered chicken biriyani. Then we explained three times that we had ordered Chicken Tikka #51. An older man who was cleaning another table told the waiter number 51 Chicken Tikka. The waiter came back after 20 minutes and said we had ordered vegetarian biriyani. We explained it again. He came back 20 minutes later with chicken tikka and told us we kept ordering wrong. We were completely confused and apologized to him because we thought we had made a mistake. Then I looked at the menu on their website and number 51 is the Chicken Tikka. When we paid, we left a tip for this very poor service and showed him the menu, which was the right place for us. To our surprise, he lied to our faces and said we had been saying number 150 the whole time, which was vegetarian biriyani! Not only a liar, but also a pushy person. The look on his face was like he was really mad at us. If the owner is reading this, please at least make the numbers easier for him to understand in German. As I have read in other reviews, the waiter doesn't understand the order correctly. You can't provide service like that.

Nach geschlagenen 1,5 Stunden, kam das Essen an. Das Essen ist in beiden Tüten ausgelaufen, und war komplett kalt. Außerdem war ein Gericht total scharf ( selbst scharf Esser), obwohl es nicht bestellt wurde. Das Brot total trocken. Der Lieferfahrer war total respektlos. Auch nachdem man im Restaurant angerufen hat, wurde während des Gesprächs einfach aufgelegt. Und es war kein Hochbetrieb Zeitpunkt. Es wurde einem nicht weiter geholfen. Man sagte, dass wir das Essen vorbei bringen sollen. Blöd, wenn man bewusst liefern lässt, sonst wäre man auch vor Ort essen gewesen. Qualität und Service reinste Katastrophe!

Wenig los im grossen Restaurant, dafür dauerte es aber relativ lang, bis der Service kam Als "Amuse geule" wurden eine halbe Papadum pro Person und drei Dips gereicht, die wieder mitgenommen wurden. Ich persönlich frage mich, was mit den übrigen offenen Saucen passiert....denn auf so eine halbe Papadum passt nicht viel drauf. Die Zweiertische an der Fensterfront sind für Schwergewichte schwierig zu besetzen, es geht wirklich sehr eng zu.

Das Essen war absolut enttäuschend – selten habe ich so schlecht gegessen! Der Reis roch nach Staub, und anscheinend wird hier aus Kostengründen minderwertiger Reis verwendet, den sie irgendwo günstig beziehen. Das Hähnchen war weder gut durchgebraten noch zart, sondern hatte eine gummiartige Konsistenz. Der Salat, der serviert wurde, hätte man genauso gut weglassen können. Wir werden definitiv nie wieder hier bestellen! Als eine relativ große Firma, die regelmäßig Essen bestellt, können wir dieses Restaurant überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Meidet es!

Sehr schlechter Service! Bestellung zum liefern 1 std wird gesagt!!! Wir holen das essen ab kommen dem Laden entgegen!!! Und dann wird eine Sauce vergessen die qir reklamieren mit der bitte diese zu liefern auch wenn es 1 Std dauert! Keiner ist gekommen und niemand hat dich telefonisch gemeldet!!! Das war die letzte Bestellung!

Nutze ausschließlich und regelmäßig den Lieferservice. Klappt gut. Das Essen ist großartig. Die unterschiedlichsten Schärfestufen sind prima. (Wenn man scharf mag, bekommt man es hier auch.) Die Speisen sind toll gewürzt. Es schmeckt immer frisch. Das Essen wird immer heiß geliefert! Meistens läuft alles prima. Aber wenn was falsch läuft, hat der Kunde verloren. Schade. Fehlermanagement gibt es nicht. Daher ein Stern Abzug.

Leckeres Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Das Ambiente und Service können noch verbessert werden. Licht einschalten wäre ein Anfang, online Reservierungen zu pflegen auch, Kartenzahlung zu vereinfachen ebenfalls. Das Essen aber war top und Preis-Leistung passt. Gerne wieder.
