It's delicious. But it might be too salty for Korean palates, so if you ask for it to be less salty when you order, it will suit your taste. You must try the Pad Thai!

I went to Thong Thai in Eschborn for dinner tonight. The open kitchen initially makes a decent impression, but the taste was a definite letdown. I ordered the papaya salad (No. 20 – Som Tam) and No. 41 (Gai Pad). Both dishes were not only extremely salty but also tasted generally off. Many of the ingredients seemed pre-prepared and simply reworked – and you could taste it immediately. The papaya salad had nothing in common with what I've experienced in Thailand or at other good Thai restaurants. The price would be perfectly acceptable if the quality were up to par. The restaurant seems to be doing well for many, judging by the high customer volume. But for me personally, it was a complete disappointment, and I wouldn't go back. That's just my experience – others might have a different opinion.

The food is delicious; we regularly order takeaway online, and it's very easy and reliable. The staff in the restaurant are very friendly and truly customer-oriented. All dishes can also be ordered as vegetarian options.

It's a fast-food restaurant with delivery service. We eat there regularly. The portions are large and good. My children often have to take home what they can't finish, and then they happily reminisce about their meal. There's a large menu, and you can customize your order. They have tables both inside and outside.

The duck in the dish was barely cooked and the service was very unfriendly! They cleared the table mid-meal without asking… I felt very uncomfortable while eating. I used to be a regular customer and ordered frequently, but the quality of the dishes is getting worse each time; it's just not what it used to be.

Really nice food, it was fast done and nice hot. For my feeling there was not a lot vegetables in it and neither egg. Spended around €27 for 2 persons (includes 1 drink for each person)

Thong Thai? A name that's always top-notch. The chefs in Eschborn, like those in Frankfurt, are very good at cooking. Let's just say that Thong Thai in the city center is much more welcoming to sit down and eat, while the one in Eschborn is a little less so. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The food here is truly delicious. Several chefs are on hand at the stove. The food is ready in 5 to 10 minutes and is also brought to the snack table.

Unfortunately I was disappointed for the second time; the soy sauce only had a salty taste. I had the food packed up and washed the salty broth off at home. I don't understand the surcharge of €2.50 instead of ordering rice and noodles, but they could have pointed this out when ordering. The vegetables were okay, though. Now I'm probably being threatened with a lawyer again if they don't remove the review - well, that's the way it is.

The best food in all of Frankfurt. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The service and preparation are always fast and simply perfect.

Unfortunately, the food and service are now (compared to 5 or more years ago) abysmal. The food has lost a lot of quality, and the service is getting ruder and worse by the day. The atmosphere in the restaurant is still good, as it simply has a cozy interior. All in all, however, I wouldn't recommend it, as they don't take criticism over the phone (incorrect orders and deliveries) seriously and simply hang up instead of addressing the problem or responding!

If you like this type of cuisine, I recommend it.

I searched for places to eat dinner near my hotel, but it was late and not many places were open, but this place was still fine, so I drove there. When I arrived, there were several people waiting at the counter, apparently for takeout. There were a few table seats along the wall inside the restaurant, and most people seemed to be ordering takeout. I decided to order at the counter and eat at the table. I ordered Thai fried rice and chicken salad. When I was called and went to pick it up, it was a huge portion! It was about twice the normal portion I'd get in Japan. I tried the fried rice first, and it was so salty! The salad was also so salty! Both were very strong-flavored, so I couldn't eat much of it. I managed to eat about half, and had the rest packed up for takeaway. They put it in a sturdy paper bag, and I didn't have to pay any packaging fees. I wonder if the taste was just right for Germans, or if the person who made it just happened to be a bad choice...

Prices have risen significantly, but the service and quality of the employees have declined. It's a shame. The delivery fee has also increased by €1. Even on the phone, you get a rude response.

The balance between the light spiciness and the pleasant sweetness of the sauce was particularly praised. The beans were cooked to perfection—neither too soft nor too chewy—and the ground beef was delicately seasoned, allowing all the flavors to blend beautifully. The portions were also generous and very filling. The presentation of the dishes was simple but appealing. No excessive frills, but the focus is clearly on flavor—and that's a good thing. You can tell the cooking here is done with passion. The service was consistently friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. You receive a warm greeting upon entering, and you immediately feel welcome. Despite the restaurant being busy, the wait times were pleasingly short—another plus. The ambiance at Tong Thai is also pleasant. The decor is simple, but designed in Thai style with warm colors and some loving details. It looks clean, well-maintained, and inviting – ideal for both a quick lunch and a relaxed dinner. We would particularly like to highlight the value for money. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality of the food, the portion sizes, and the friendly service. These days, it's not a given that you can get such good food at a reasonable price. Conclusion: Our visit to Tong Thai was a real highlight. Thai cuisine was presented at its best – fresh, aromatic, and authentic. Both my chicken curry and my companion's dish fully met, if not exceeded, our expectations. It was an all-around successful restaurant visit, one we would gladly repeat. Anyone who lives or works in Eschborn or the surrounding area should definitely pay a visit to Tong Thai. We'll definitely be back!

Thong Thai even advertises itself as "Authentic Thai" on its website—though after countless visits to Thailand, I can't confirm that. However, it still offers solid dishes with fresh ingredients, tailored to European palates. Both in the restaurant and when ordering online, you get your food relatively quickly, and the prices are reasonable.

Unfortunately, they're having their bad reviews removed by a lawyer. That alone is a no-go. The food was very salty and nothing special. I wouldn't recommend it.

I came here for the first time with two friends this weekend after a motorcycle tour – the atmosphere is nice, the staff friendly, and the food was delicious! I'll definitely be coming back again!

One of the worst Thai restaurants in the Rhine-Main area. The summer rolls we ordered were filled with iceberg lettuce and glass noodles, a steep price for poor quality: €6.50. I ordered numbers 46 and 49 and will never eat there again. No fresh vegetables, the vegetables were even frozen. The fried chicken was more breaded than chicken. It just tasted rancid and inedible. The service also left a lot to be desired. Bad decision of the day. Never again. I'd rather get it from McDonald's 🤣

So, my friends of good taste. I've rarely had such bad Thai food. A complete disappointment. I'm a proud Frankfurter and don't think a place like this belongs here. I don't want to go into further details. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gave this place 5 stars 3 years ago. The food and everything else was actually pretty good. Nowadays, I have to say the quality is getting worse and worse. Yesterday was the last time I went to this restaurant, and I will never go back. The portions have gotten smaller, the prices have gone up, but the quality has declined massively. Orders are sometimes processed incorrectly. When they say you don't want meat as a vegetarian, it happened twice that there was still meat in the food. An apology? FALSE! Today, however, was the last time I ate here. I ordered number 25 and ate it there. Almost at the end of the dish, I noticed a hair in the food. I called the waitress. "YES, just a minute, I'll be right there." No one came for 5 minutes, no one came for 10 minutes, after 12 minutes I called again, and again no one came. Then I went in and explained my problem. All I got was: "Sorry, it can happen, put this here, please." That was it! No "hey, it's on the house," or "you get a discount," or "a drink on the house," nothing. Just: "Yeah, that's the way it is." This really is just a place to rip people off. The quality used to be good, but now they just want to maximize profits. No more service, no cleanliness. I can't recommend it to anyone anymore!

Ordered food for takeout. Grow Nam soup, Bami-Phad-Gai noodles, red curry chicken, and gai-phad-prig curry. All were excellent. Very quick and friendly service, and own parking place right next to the restaurant.

I wasn't allowed to pre-order the food by phone (I was on the way by car) because the restaurant was supposedly full. When I arrived (after 10 minutes) a maximum of 20% of the restaurant was full. I wanted to order something to drink, but the waiter said that I should come back in and order the drinks at the cash register, which was strange to me. (we sat outside)The food was ok.

Thong Thai Eschborn: Waited over 2 hours for the food delivery. After 1 hour and 20 minutes, I politely asked and was told the food would arrive in 15 minutes. We wanted it to be hot, and Sundays are always busy. The result after waiting almost 2.5 hours: the food was delivered cold. I haven't recommended it for over a year.

Number 51 GAI-HA-ROS with fried rice

It used to be nice place in the past. I was taking out food here quite often. But last time quality of food is slightly dropped. It became very fat, salty, got strange smell. I edit my review from 4 stars to 3 stars some time ago. And guess what? They complained to google and my review was removed. And based on rating they have (4.7 best pace in Eschborn????) i believe they did this not only with me. That completely not fair. Therefore you got 1 stars, you don't deserve more

This is a small Thai Imbiss in Eschborn. Nothing fancy but good Thai dishes from Thai chefs. It has only 3 tables with bar stools. You can pay cash or with card as you wish. My reference dish is always chicken cashew nuts. It was good just messing some spice/chillis.There are a couple of parking spots behind the building. The prices are reasonable and not too high. It is worth a visit.

I have never had such a bad experience! I ordered Pad Thai online with duck and vegetables as well as 2x summer rolls with tofu - just like before when that was never a problem. But what happened? • Pad Thai without egg and shrimp, although that comes standard • Hardly any tamarind sauce, completely dry noodles • No vegetables, although requested • Duck meat for almost €3 extra – but they simply saved on other ingredients • The duck was tough, all the food was cold You can even see on the invoice that my wishes were stated on the website - but they were simply crossed out! Then it's better not to deliver at all instead of making the order completely wrong! So I called - and was answered by an extremely rude person on the phone. He said he supposedly called me, but since I didn't answer, he simply made the order differently - without taking my wishes into account. That doesn't work at all! I pay extra for duck - but they just leave out shrimp and egg instead? Nowhere on the website does it say that duck meat does not contain any other ingredients! When I said that, he just said, “You need to know.” How is every customer supposed to know this? It used to work too! His answer: “This is how it’s done on my shift.” Please?! Then the summer rolls: At first they said, “we can’t do them.” When I asked, suddenly I did - but only with an additional charge. I would have paid the extra without any problem, but they didn't even offer it to me! Instead of finding a solution, they just said: “We won’t do it.” The absolute highlight: “If you want to complain, do so on the website.” I call directly to clarify this - but he directs me to the website? And at the end the disrespectful comment: “You can tell you have a lot of time.” Sorry for complaining about my incorrect order on a Saturday afternoon? I live next door and have eaten here often - but nothing like this has ever happened to me. Absolutely disrespectful treatment of customers and instead of finding a solution you are simply fobbed off. Never again!

This place used to be 5 star. No longer, the last 3 times the order has taken over 90 minutes (right now I am waiting and it is going on 2 hours). And the order has been finished, according to the website, for 45 minutes.. meaning it is sitting in someone’s car getting cold.

For me, Thong Thai is the best Thai cuisine in Frankfurt, Eschborn and Neu-Isenburg. Fresh ingredients, freshly prepared and you can watch the chefs prepare it. The freshly rolled summer rolls with a great sauce are highly recommended. There aren't that many seats in the restaurant, but I've always found a free seat pretty quickly. The prices are absolutely decent for quantity and quality. Highly recommended.

Eat Thai often. Unfortunately for me it wasn't the case that I would go again. Spicy food selected. It wasn't even spicy. Rather sweet.

Unfortunately it was very poor...the number 44 had rice, sauce and vegetables...there were only three small strips of the chicken...when I asked, they said "here and there and there...and they pointed to the vegetables...very unfriendly ...my husband was also unhappy with your food. The room frosty 🥶 and cold I'm also bothered by the drivers walking around in their street clothes in the open kitchen!! We are disappointed!!!

Basically delicious food and a great team. 4 stars deducted on principle because the operator is too stingy to install heating despite the good operation. In winter the guests have to freeze. Absolutely unreasonable and that's why we no longer eat there with our work colleagues.

Delicious food. Order at the counter, food is brought to the table and pretty quickly. However, due to the open kitchen and the busyness, the air on site is not the best for sitting comfortably.

In winter it is super cold in the guest room

I am shocked by what happened today. I have been a loyal customer for years, and I always order the same meals. They have me in the system and from ordering before they would confirm, ah again as last time. Never had any issues even though i speak little German. Today, I called as always. They immediately saw my address and already saw in the system my orders, I again ordered the same, but this time, the operator asked me something that I did not understand. I excuse myself and say sorry i did not get that as I do not speak German, and he reaponded immediately in a very mean voice: why did you call then if you dont speak German??? It was very degrading and mean, and it happened for the first time, but having in mind at least half of their customers are foreign people, this behavior is very unprofessional and just rude. EDIT: I got a very polite call from Thong Thai, where they excused for what happened. It was very thoughtful and positive. 5 stars for taking care of the disappointed customer. I was gery impressed and I will continue to be their loyal customer. Food is always 5/5 :)

2 mal bestellt 2 mal fehlerhaft 1 Essen fehlte bei der ersten Bestellung 1 Essen war komplett falsch bei der 2ten Bestellung, hinzu kommt noch das der Preis stieg. 20€ habe ich mehr zahlen für genau das selbe. Wow das war damit das letzte mal das wir dort bestellt haben

Driver rushes through Eschborn at absolutely "excessive speed" and honks the finger at passers-by and harasses normally moving vehicles!!!

The food is wonderful, there's nothing to complain about. But it is an outrage to give me a fine of 40 euros in a communal parking lot, where there are limited spaces for hairdressers, Thong Thai and the pizzeria, just because I stood in the wrong parking lot for 5 minutes. That's not possible, regardless of whether it was initiated by the pizzeria or by you or someone else. So you're scaring away your customers, I won't be picking up anything there any time soon.

Many dishes are more European-Thai and less authentic (e.g. the many curries). I still like them. What not only tastes good but is also relatively authentic is the Pad Thai. The mix of tamarind, peanuts and lime juice is unique and very tasty. What I personally miss are the Thai classics: Pad Krapao & Laab Moo

The food is good, but the delivery service is a disaster. Several times I had to call again after waiting for an hour, delivery then after another 30 minutes, today canceled after 1 hour 50 minutes, hunger gone. It doesn't work like that

I have been a regular customer for many years and had two meals delivered yesterday. One meal was good (as always), the other (No. 51) was unfortunately completely cold, except for the rice.!!! The broccoli was undercooked (seems to be the latest trend at Thong Thai if you read the other reviews). With a journey of less than 2 km and a delivery before 12 p.m. this is incomprehensible!!! With a delivery fee of 2.00 euros plus a quasi-forced tip (that's not possible!), the "result" is a disgrace. At least the delivery was on time and the quality of the food was good. But in the future I will pick up my own food, then at least I know it is warm.

The food may be really good, but it doesn't help if you don't get there. Due to the high number of visitors, the cash register and service were completely overwhelmed. The gentleman in front of me already received the wrong order. When I then asked about my pre-order, I was shouted at from above and told me to go back to the back of the line. So I was given the choice between discussing or leaving, and I chose the latter.
