Croque Palast in Hamburg

Dirty tables, trash lying around. Bad coffee. Unfriendly staff. Disgusting, prices incredibly expensive for this crap.

Since the restaurant was very busy and we weren't being paid any attention (it can happen), we wanted to order something at the counter outside. There were five ladies in the kitchen working the fryers, and one server was serving the very, very busy restaurant. I've rarely been served so rudely at the counter as I was here, or rather, I was just barely served. This arrogance and unfriendliness were beyond compare! If we hadn't been so hungry, we would have left!!!

Currywurst with cold Heinz ketchup from the bottle, potato soup from the Erasco can! warmed up, just bad and for these prices!

It was simply amazing. My second visit was the same, and the taste is truly amazing. You can eat it until you're sick of it, but you never get tired of it either. I think the price and portion size are also very good.

We used to really enjoy ordering here, but it gets worse every time. The sweet and sour sauce is extremely runny, and there isn't even a single piece of pineapple in it, just juice to pour over it. Baked bananas used to come in a Styrofoam container with honey; now they're mushy bananas in a mushy bag without honey. My contact lenses might fit in the extra sauce containers. Incredibly disappointing; today is the last time we'll order.
