The best Italian restaurant with Tyrolean cuisine we have ever eaten in!☝🏻 Even without a reservation (which is certainly appropriate) and a bit of chaos after a downpour with sleet, the staff handled the situation super quickly and always in a friendly manner. As a matter of course, a place was found for us. It was clear to us that we would make a reservation the day after tomorrow. In short, the food was delicious, the service was super friendly and the overall look of the restaurant was very nice and harmonious.

A gem of cosiness The Cortina Oberhof When you enter the Cortina, you immediately feel like you have been transported to another world. The furnishings are reminiscent of a rustic alpine hut that has been modernized. The atmosphere is homely and invites you to linger, even if there is no view of the mountains. The menu at Cortina Oberhof is a real highlight. It's so diverse that it's hard to decide what you want to order. From hearty delicacies to light, creative salad variations. Here's something for every taste. The descriptions of the dishes are fun to read and make you want to try everything. The service is as warm as the ambience. The staff is attentive and always willing to make recommendations or fulfill special requests. You can tell that the attention to detail is worked here. The Cortina is the perfect place to escape from everyday life and enjoy good food in a cozy atmosphere. A must for anyone looking for an oasis of well-being with culinary delights.

The ambience and service were great. Unfortunately the prices and the food are not the same. The three of us paid just under 100 euros for 1 meal and 1 drink each. The taste really didn't justify it. I had a pizza with vegetables. There wasn't even any cheese on it and they saved a lot on the vegetables. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go to this location again due to the overpriced prices.

Great furnishings and the food is not everyday either. The service was also good and friendly. Unfortunately, I personally think the prices are excessive: cappuccino (small size) for EUR 4.90 and then 10 cents more expensive than a latte macchiato, scrambled eggs with cheese and some bread for EUR 15.90. Unfortunately it doesn't suit me. A pity.

If you normally want to eat pasta and pizza at an Italian restaurant, you've come to the wrong place. Traditional Tyrolean food culture is very important here. The food tasted really excellent and the service was great too. The price is a bit high, but you really get something for your money. We recommend.

We were quite a large group, but we were treated very nicely and friendly. I had a starter and main course, both were delicious and unusual. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience, which I really liked, the little decorative details. The shop completes the whole thing. Gladly again!

Super friendly. Super nice atmosphere/restaurant. Price-performance fits. Got a table even though we hadn't reserved. Allowed special request for food. Unfortunately we didn't have any Vita Cola.

Just disappointing. After we decided not to redeem our voucher during the “C period” in order to be a small support to the industry and especially to this store, which was also welcomed back then and we were assured that the voucher would continue to be valid. We were now confronted with the harsh reality that the restaurant, which was once run with passion, has become something that can no longer be compared to back then. The voucher will probably then be recorded under “received money without ever having to provide anything in return” which is just sad.

Beautiful, cozy atmosphere with a lot of attention to detail and the food was delicious and beautifully prepared. The price is on the higher end, but of course it is a tourist place and the food was really homemade. Very good, friendly service. I can only warmly recommend it to everyone

It was a pleasure for us and we are very excited. Every detail is made with love, every dish is a culinary delight, the owner Katja Fröhlich is a person with heart and blood in what she does. An absolute gastronomic highlight, down-to-earth and loving with a taste for aesthetics, good home-style, individual and special cuisine.

Just great! Super nice atmosphere and really delicious food. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with great attention to detail. You immediately feel like you are in South Tyrol. The food is fantastic, everything on the plate tasted great. The portions are large. Only the service needs improvement. It takes a very long time to be served, we also had to ask again for our drinks because they were forgotten. The Cortina is priced very high, but the quality of the food justifies the price in my opinion.

The Cortina is a nice, somewhat cramped restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The food is impeccable in terms of taste and craftsmanship, but it doesn't catapult you into the Olympus of taste. Since we often go out to eat in larger cities, I can say that the price-performance ratio is not entirely right. My tip: either you lower the prices or increase the cost of goods, I agree with some of my suggestions. Otherwise a super nice service team, which left a somewhat rushed impression.

We were 8 people. Had reserved. Everyone was really excited. Especially the quality of the food, fantastic! Very plentiful, tasty food served with matching wines. Just great. Thanks for that and keep it up.

The northern Italian restaurant took me on a culinary journey through the region with its exquisite selection of dishes. From freshly baked bread with lard, homemade creative pizzas to curd dumplings, every bite was a pleasure. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service rounded off the experience perfectly. An absolute must for lovers of Italian cuisine! The prices were very expensive, considering I was in Oberhof in the low season.

We were there out of season. The reception was nice, the service very attentive and business-like. The ambience is modern yet traditional. Unfortunately the food was just okay. The very good spinach dumplings lacked any sauce, so they were very, very dry. Overall, everything is completely overpriced. But of course it is intended exclusively for tourists. So you know what you're getting into.

I had already made a preliminary inquiry regarding the validity of the voucher and received no response - then I can save myself the email "service"... Then we drove there specifically, unfortunately we were not able to get the voucher due to birth/parental leave and a short-term move Time period must be strictly adhered to. All of this was explained to the boss and then the voucher was no longer recognized because it had been 5 weeks...which is a shame, it's all about the money.

Clean restaurant. We had booked a table for dinner during a family reunion. Two tables were quickly put together and set. Service was polite and quick. We sat pretty close to each other, borderline. Starters were delicious bruchetta and a barley soup that took a lot of getting used to. After quite a long wait, the main courses gradually arrived. Of all people, the youngest child, who wasn't promised a starter, was the last to get his Kaiserschmarren. When it was previously asked that the Kaiserschmarren was not intended as a dessert and would hopefully still be, Ms. Fröhlich replied very unkindly that she had no influence on the kitchen. Who else if not her? It's fair to say that younger children are not welcome here. There was no sign anywhere to shorten the waiting time. Thank God we had enough games for everyone🙃 The main courses were delicious and attractively prepared. Conclusion, the Cortina lives mainly from constantly changing tourists in Oberhof without children or pizza eaters and can therefore afford to charge these prices. No thanks😕

First of all, the positive: the food was delicious and clearly presented. The ambience of the restaurant is pleasant and really appropriate to the theme and well thought out. The service time for us was from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. We were there promptly at 5 p.m. and were escorted straight to the table. Furthermore, in our eyes it appeared to be “incitement”. Two starters and main courses were ordered. We also wanted to order a dessert around 6:30 p.m., but were told that this was no longer possible. Preparing the Kaiserschmarren takes 30 minutes. You could use another dessert, the apricot kodel, for example, only takes 10 minutes. Ok… unfortunately we can't help it that it took about an hour until our main course was served. In our opinion, value for money is not given. YES, the food tastes good. However, the portions don't necessarily justify the price. A strip of salmon and 5 gnocchi, well. The name was Spelled out when we reserved the table and is still mostly wrong, it's a shame, it could be that easy. The tables are quite narrow and close to each other. If we had the choice again, we wouldn't choose it again.

Very good restaurant with specialties from South Tyrol.

On the way to Erfurt I wanted to take a look at Oberhof. After exploring the place on foot, I stopped at Cortina. First a few words about the restaurant: it is modeled on the South Tyrolean style. You even have that Alpine feeling in the toilet. Both the restaurant and the toilet are very clean. Less than ten minutes after ordering, I was served my starter. There was nothing wrong with the taste of this one. However, points or stars are deducted for the price-performance ratio: 3 slices for 9.50 euros are just a bit too much of a good thing. My suggestion: either you lower the price to 6 to 6.50 euros or you add two slices for the price of 9.50 euros. Then the price-performance ratio is also right.

Great food where the eye eats too. Tasty, high quality food. The service staff are very attentive and friendly, they make you feel comfortable. We'd love to come back.

Fantastic ambience and excellent cuisine. Recommended both in the evening and for breakfast. The cakes also looked very good and homemade, but I didn't try them. Unfortunately also high prices. However, when it comes to food, I'm happy to pay for quality. Above all, the drinks prices are too exaggerated for my taste.

Einfach nur überteuert! Das Restaurant war bei unserem Eintreffen am Mittwoch nach dem Ruhetag eiskalt. Daher habe ich erst einmal einen Ingwer Tee bestellt. Der Bestand aus einem kleinen Tee Glas voller frischem Ingwer und anderen Kräutern. Aufgegossen mit lauwarmen Wasser. An ziehen des Ingwers war nicht zu denken, wollte ich den Tee noch einigermaßen warm trinken. Es handelte sich also um lauwarmes Wasser für 4,50 Euro!! Die Pizza war gut aber mit knapp 18 Euro deutlich überteuert. Die Lasagne war nix und wurde immer mehr im Mund. Die Getränke Preise sind insgesamt abartig. Hier weiß man sicher, daß überwiegend Touristen kommen, die sich das einmal antun und sicher nicht wieder kommen. Wir jedenfalls haben diese Erfahrung hier nur einmal gemacht!

Once again full marks. Ambience, service, quality - everything is perfect here and for us the Cortina has always been number 1 when we are traveling in Oberhof and the surrounding area. Reservations are recommended in the evening. This time we were here for breakfast and that was also completely convincing. Prepared with a lot of love and typical of South Tyrol. The team is always friendly and attentive, no matter how busy it is. Thanks!!!!

It's a shame, we expected a little more from the food on offer. My bland cheese spaetzle was missing the fried onions and the sausage platter only had two different types, salami and ham. Of course we could have complained straight away, but that doesn't change the taste and, above all, the price. Service was good and the atmosphere was a bit cramped and crowded.

People work here with passion - you feel that you are welcome as a guest and everything has a familiar and professionally perfect signature in every respect. Everything delicious, everything fresh, great cuisine, great service and therefore absolutely worth the price. That's worth coming back for.

We were in Oberhof last week and went to Cortina! We were very impressed by the friendliness and also got a nice table with our 2 dogs. Very cozy, pleasant quiet music, everything very stylish and rustic. The food was super delicious and I also recommend the grog...grin! You also have to try the dessert! Very tasty and very cozy. The motto of the restaurant is something different, everyone should decide for themselves. We liked the rustic chic. The menu also fits in very well. Very nice restaurant, but the guest has to pay quite dearly for the great ambience. The maximum is achieved here. We had to arrive at 6:00 p.m. and leave our table promptly at 7:30 p.m That's not comfortable The slightly larger tables are generally occupied by two people. (But everything was announced in advance) We then moved on to another restaurant to have a leisurely glass of wine.

The food is really tasty, the service is good - the prices for food are rather high - hence three stars. It's quite tight in the restaurant, there are a lot of seats in a limited space. We have seen this implemented better and more cheaply in other, comparable restaurants. At some point the Cortina will get another chance, let's see how it develops.

The restaurant and staff make you feel hip. But it's completely wrong. We're not here for apres-ski in Kitzbühel. Menu overloaded and difficult to decipher. Apparently people have let their crude imagination run wild here. Food tasty but nothing extraordinary. For that and the ambience 2 stars. Prices are way too high. And when Oberhof is busy, the restaurant is packed to the very last corner. It's not possible to eat comfortably here.

I have visited the Cortina 3 times so far. On two occasions out of three visits the food was so salty that it was truly inedible. A soup and a salad were so salty that you wondered whether the cook even tasted it. We reported this to the service staff and they simply laughed at us. Is this how you treat guests?! The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right here!!! Prices like that don't even exist in South Tyrol/Italy. Everything is totally overpriced. We regularly go to South Tyrol and have probably been there 30 times. But the food in South Tyrol is of a higher quality than that offered in Cortina. We are also happy to pay for good quality. Wonder what you're imagining, probably because there are no/few high-quality restaurants in the Suhl area and Cortina thinks they're something special... The ambience alone is nice, but that's about it.

Thank you Cortina, for greeting us so personally and for making us feel so welcome in your lovely restaurant. The warming aperitif was tailor-made for the cold winter evening, and the hearty food was just what we were longing for after a day outside in the cold weather. Thanks also for being flexible with our booking, allowing us to see the Swedes get their cross-country World Cup awards on stage in Kurpark before dinner.

We recommend. We were there on August 2nd, 2023. Very nicely decorated, delicious food, super nice staff. A little more expensive, but you really get a pizza, albeit a different one.

Oberhof is always worth it. Ideal if you still have time for the Cortina. Friendly service from reception to table. Great card with lots of goodies. Beautifully but not overly decorated. Clean sanitary rooms. I always love it and can only recommend the Cortina. (You have to like South Tyrolean music because it plays on a continuous loop)

Wir waren nach längerer Zeit mal wieder zum Mittagessen dort. Bei der telefonischen Reservierung wurden wir auf 11:30Uhr bestellt, weil wir uns beim Essen lieber etwas Zeit nehmen und unser Tisch nur bis 13Uhr reservierbar war. Das war leider falsch gedacht. Vor zwölf ist die Küche nicht offen! Ansonsten war auch alles wie immer (siehe Fazit) Positiv: + Geschmackvolles Ambiente + gute Aperitifs + Sehr konsequente Umsetzung des Mottos in Bezug auf die Tiroler Küche Neutral: = Umfangreiche Karte = Sehr kinderfreundlich = Zentrale Lage in Oberhof = Freundliches Personal Negative: - überhaupt nicht behindertengerecht - mangelndes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Fazit: Das Essen war einfacher Durchschnitt aber in keinem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - viel zu überteuert. In Oberhof gibt es einige deutlich bessere Lokale.

Schon der persönliche Empfang mit dem Namensschild auf dem Tisch und die schöne Dekoration laden zum Verweilen ein. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, auch für gute Esser reichlich und die Bedienung ist sehr nett. Wir haben beim Abendessen gleich einen Tisch fürs Frühstück am nächsten Tag gebucht. Das Frühstück war super ! Eine tolle Fruchtgrütze, Speckmarmelade, die wir nicht kannten, leckere Kürbismarmelade und Griebenschmalz, auch das Rührei und die Brot/Brötchenauswahl waren klasse.

Das Restaurant ist phantastisch. Wir waren mehrmals dort mittlerweile. Das Essen stets ein absolutes Gedicht. Personal freundlich. Preise gehoben, aber die Gegenleistung passt hier. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

Nicht italienisch sondern eben südtiroler Art. Essen etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber eben Tirol. Personal sehr bemüht.

Wir waren spontan im Cortina essen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und zu unserem Tisch begleitet. Das Essen war super lecker und auch die Getränke und die Nachspeise waren sehr ansprechend und hochwertig, Kaffee von Julius Meinl 😋 Gerne empfehlen wir dieses Restaurant weiter!

Geburtstags Essen einfach super

Ich war zum ersten Mal im Cortina. Alles sehr stimmig und super nettes Personal. Das Essen war die Wucht. Die Preise sind passend, aber leider nicht für mich. Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier dort gefeiert. Ich würde sehr gern mal wieder vorbei kommen, vielleicht klappt es ja. Macht weiter so 👌☺️🍀

Hallo, der Laden ist optisch sehr süß und gemütlich eingerichtet alles passt zusammen die Speisen und Getränke waren gut. Die Preise sind schon frech der Service nicht besonders gut wir mussten ewig auf alles warten es wurde nicht nachgefragt ob wir noch einen Wunsch haben bzw. weitere Getränke bestellen möchten.

Wir hatten heute einen wunderschönen leckeren und angenehm humorvollen Abend, der durch den grandios aufmerksamen Service von Olaf eingerahmt wurde. Ganz herzlichen Dank und bis auf ganz bald!
