We gave the Cortina a third chance, but unfortunately, we were disappointed again. I'm happy to spend a little more money to eat well, but unfortunately, the value for money here isn't at all! The service is nice, but we sat for ages with empty glasses. We each ordered four different dishes, none of which tasted good. The salad and pizza were absolutely tasteless, and some of the listed ingredients were missing. One salmon was swimming in oil and incorrectly presented. The service gratefully accepted the criticism and served a digestif. We often visit Oberhof as we're from the area, but unfortunately, this will be our last visit to this restaurant. Which is a shame, because the ambiance is great.

We chose this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. We wanted to spend a pleasant evening and have a quiet conversation. This was completely impossible due to the closely spaced tables. The noise from the left and right was so loud that conversation was impossible. So we ordered our food and left the restaurant. The server was very attentive and friendly. The greeting at the entrance seemed too "forced" for me. I also find the signs with the guests' names inappropriate. The menu was so confusing that it took a long time to look at it. The food itself was okay (schnitzel with a bit of potato salad and a duo of dumplings). But it was out of proportion to the price, especially the duo of dumplings. The overall ambiance is lovely. But it can't make up for our disappointment with an expensive, short dinner.

Group of 5 - Probably the second-worst pizza I've ever eaten (fish). The vegetarian pizza was just as bad. The chicken in other dishes was dry, but slightly better. The salad seems okay. Service was initially attentive but didn't come back to our table after the food was served. Pretty much a tourist trap.

Highly recommended, the location and landscape are inviting and in the CORTINA restaurant you will be spoiled by Katja and her cuisine.

We spent a very pleasant evening here. The ambiance is truly stylish and inviting, and the food and service are excellent. Parking is available near the restaurant. The food and drinks clearly place great emphasis on quality, seasonality, and consistency with the restaurant's philosophy. This makes the visit almost feel like a short vacation. We are thrilled and would love to come back!

We can only recommend the Cortina. We visited you for the first time on Sunday for my 50th birthday. It was excellent. We really enjoyed it, so we'll be back. We've been here several times. We live nearby. Unfortunately, the service was sometimes very unfriendly and aloof and arrogant. The food is very tasty, whether cake or savory. However, the prices are too high for this area!!! There are now many cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area that have overtaken the Cortina! Too bad! It used to be our regular restaurant…

The food was very tasty. First, we had the schnitzel, which was tasty, but I would recommend something else from the menu, as some of the combinations are really good and something different. The pizzas are very tasty. The atmosphere is very nice, and the staff are very friendly. You do have to allow a bit of time, but you can linger in the lovely setting.

A great, very well-run restaurant with first-class food and excellent service. A definite recommendation. The name should just be expanded (on the menu): Cortina-Alto Adige :-)

Nice ambience, delicious food and the Aporol was also tasty, which isn't the case everywhere.

We had a really wonderful evening in this restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and looked after. The rooms were very lovingly designed, with many small details. Even the menu was very nicely designed. We were also completely thrilled with the food: the asparagus soup, the dumpling duo and, at the end, Kaiserschmarrn all tasted excellent. It's been a long time since I've been so positively surprised by the taste. I can fully recommend this restaurant.

I had bad luck twice at dessert. Once it came out of the kitchen cold, the second time the apple strudel dough was "raw" on the bottom. Unfortunately a no-go for coal.

On our Rennsteig tour we made a special detour to the cortina. We were able to enjoy a wonderful breakfast. Everything your heart desires, made with love and delicious. When you make a reservation you will even be greeted with your name on a sign. The restaurant is furnished in Alpine style with attention to detail. We will definitely come back. Many thanks to the team for this beautiful start to our tour.

Beautiful restaurant, designed with attention to detail, dishes and drinks are very attractively presented, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right at all, the yeast dumplings advertised for over € 8 are ultimately two yeast dumplings from the supermarket like you know them from home, unfortunately these were not completely warmed up and dry, what a shame!

After our Rennsteig hike we ate something here and were thrilled by the lovely atmosphere. Great! Enjoy the last rays on the sun terrace with sweet delicacies and salad. Nice service. Gladly again.

We went in by chance that evening. It was a very good decision. The reception was very friendly. We felt comfortable straight away. Most of the tables were reserved. Properly reserved by name. Not like other restaurants. There is a good selection of food. We had schnitzel with potato salad and wild garlic gnocchi with chicken and asparagus. Really super tasty. Keep it up

We were looking for a restaurant on cold days, albeit with a large dog. We received a warm welcome there. The food and drinks were prepared quickly and freshly, which was noticeable in the taste. We'd love to come back next time!

Hervorragendes Essen auf Sterne-Niveau. Die Speisekarte lädt in die italienische Alpenküche ein.In einer gemütlichen und stilvollen Atmosphäre fühlt man sich wie in Südtirol. Ein netter entspannter Service - das Personl ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es empfiehlt sich eine Tischreservierung. Wir entschieden uns am selbigen Tag spontan einzukehren und konnten das Lokal 19 Uhr besuchen. Wir kommen wieder. GROßARTIG!

Unfortunately I cannot give full points. The ambience and service were great during our visit. Unfortunately we weren't very happy with the food. The first point of criticism for us is the lack of choice for children, as there were no fries with nuggets. That may sound a little banal, but it is of course a conscious culinary decision. But it's not comprehensible to us. It's not about serving cheap food. Fries and nuggets are also great to make yourself, although the love for cooking can still be seen in the product. In any case, the fact is that almost every child likes it and can at least find something on the menu that they eat. The alternatives offered were beetroot gnocchi and a salami pizza. Unfortunately, the children didn't like the gnocchi because of the color and unfortunately they didn't touch it. For the pizza they probably used special salami, which was also not well received due to its taste. The second point of criticism was the other two main courses, pizza again (I think salmon and beef fillet). The taste of both pizzas was not the same. For my pizza (beef) I can only say that the parmesan was far too dominant. This was particularly noticeable because next to it the beef (super tender) and tomatoes seemed almost tasteless. The individual components are certainly very high quality and the prices are perhaps justified. (Everyone should earn something too.) But if I have dinner for 4 people for €120, I want everyone to enjoy it. Unfortunately we were all missing that. We are not holidaymakers who eat once and perhaps never come back. We would be there in 15 minutes. However, there is currently no interest in a further visit.

Highly recommended, The staff is very accommodating and reads your wishes from your lips. The food was A+ in terms of taste and appearance. The ambience was stunning, you feel very comfortable there because the restaurant is very warm and has lots of rustic wood. Conclusion It is definitely worth a visit and I would be happy to come back at any time.

We were at Cortina last night. It was very nice and we immediately felt comfortable. The food, the friendly and attentive service and the beautiful, cozy location were excellent. Nowadays it is rare for gastronomy to have all three areas covered so well. The menu offered so many delicious dishes and drinks that we tried all three courses straight away, including an aperitif, wine and espresso. It was very tasty and we would love to come back. Durchdacht, kundenorientiert, stilvoll, schmackhaft ! Die Warteschlange am Einlass war gerechtfertigt und bald vergessen, denn die Einkehr dort wird positiv in Erinnerung bleiben.

Als erstes fragte ich die Bedingung nach einer Allergiekarte da ich eine Glutenunverträglichkeit habe. Daraufhin wurde mir gesagt sowas habe man nicht aber ich könnte ja sie fragen. Hab mir dann einen Alkoholfreien Hugo bestellt und merkte schon beim ersten Schluck da ist Bier drinne (Bier enthält Gluten). Essen war zwar ganz ok aber konnte das dann sowieso nichtmehr richtig genießen da ich wusste das die nächsten Tage dank der Vergiftung für mich unschön werden.

Wir hatten unseren Tisch schon 2 Monate im Voraus bestellt, weil wir zwei Paare mit zwei Hunden sind. Ich hatte extra darum gebeten, das wir einen ruhigen Platz bekommen, da der eine Hund noch ziemlich jung ist. Nach gefühlt 20 Minuten am zugigen Eingang wartend, wurde uns dann ein winziger Tisch im Gastraum angeboten, auf Nachfrage wurde uns erklärt,das es voll ist. Die Gaststube ist sehr voll und eng, und die Tische sind überbelegt. Der Service und das Ambiente sind gut, aber das Essen ist übertrieben teuer. Leider war der Boden der Pizza noch nicht durchgebacken und sehr mächtig. Die Vorspeisen waren winzig und zu teuer. Ein Fett kostet im Einkauf fast nichts, das kann man als Starter kostenlos dazu geben. Wenn man es übertreibt, dann kommt irgendwann kein Gast mehr. Schade

Very Cosy atmosphere, super friendly service and excelent food. Recommend to reserve a table as ist quite popular. We came in while they were packed but they made it work for us despite beeing booked and where very welcoming, something that is becoming more and more rare.

It was Austria and South Tyrol in Thuringia. I can only warmly recommend the Cortina to everyone who comes to Oberhof. Food, service and ambience were top notch. Not a bad idea to bring Alpine flair to Oberhof. I'd like to give it five stars for that. The last sentence even rhymes.⭐⭐⭐🌟🌟

The food and ambience was great. But we were there with two kids, so that probably didn't go down well. We got stupid looks and didn't really experience any hospitality. Then there is a sign saying children are not welcome. I wouldn't visit it again.

The best restaurant I have ever visited

We went to Cortina for an early dinner today and were very lucky to get 2 seats. We were absolutely thrilled. Great interior, excellent service and cleverly thought out, very tasty food. A clear recommendation from us.

We ate here every year and always loved it, but this year it was a complete disaster. Pre-ordered and had to wait outside the restaurant with countless other people. Then ordered a pizza that was so bad that any frozen pizza is better. The friendliness and ambience were again extremely good. We're thinking about coming back.

Extremely wonderful and enchanting

Sehr enttäuschend. Mehr Schein als Sein. Brühe hat nach Fertigsuppe geschmeckt und war nur lauwarm, genauso die Gnocchi. Es gibt keine Gerichte in der Preisspanne zwischen 20 und 30 Euro. Getränke haben einen Aufschlag von 150 %. Womit wird das gerechtfertigt? Desweiteren wurde uns eine Suppe zuviel berechnet. Nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

The Cortina is a very nice restaurant with the typical South Tyrolean flair with a very good menu including simply world-class cuisine. You can really switch off and relax with the good-tasting cuisine as if you were on holiday. Highly recommended, always with regards to Silvio from the dreary Gotha My friends and I went to Cortina again for dinner on the occasion of my birthday and all of my friends were thrilled and very surprised in a positive way about Cortina because none of them had been there yet and they all said that they really enjoyed it.
