AWESOME!! Food: Had huge currywurst with potato wedges and a side salad, schnitzel with fried egg and solyanka. Everything was very tasty and beautifully prepared. The drinks were also very tasty. For an Irish pub the food was quite tasty. But schnitzel in an Irish pub is strange, even if it was delicious. I would have expected something with lamb or a good stew and a burger, which is really Irish cuisine. But the card didn't say that. There were only 0.3 liter glasses of GUINNES. It was also funny that there are pictures from London on the wall in an Irish pub. London is about as interesting to the Irish as Beijing is to a Japanese. At least the service was pretty good.

A great place to spend a nice evening. Whether it's a game evening with the children or a nice evening with friends. Here you are in the best company and receive a friendly welcome. Gladly again at any time. This will be an insider tip of ours. We recommend it.

An Irish pub in an original German, medieval atmosphere. Is that possible? Yes, it works and I can testify and recommend it with a clear conscience. Here in the Corner Pub you can really relax your soul and your legs (literally). As an almost 2-time Harz hiking emperor, I had a very nice evening here and was able to moisten my bone-dry throat with plenty of beer and the locally made nut schnapps. After a few convivial hours with the friendly and lovely landlady, it worked brilliantly. As befits an Irish pub, you can get a variety of “island beers” on tap here. If you prefer German beer, then the selection is noticeably smaller. True to the motto, I don't have to eat what I can drink, so I can't rate the culinary dishes. However, I always heard "Oh!", "Hmh!", "Yes, delicious..." coming from the comfortable leather seating area on the right where the other guests were eating - so I have to conclude that your hunger will also be satisfied in the best way here . The pub is lovingly furnished and very cozy. The landlady is so nice, accommodating and friendly that you could fall in love a little. Tip: Don't ask for Wernesgrüner Pils *wink-smiley*. The prices are moderately reasonable and, according to the landlady, if it is not a spontaneous visit, you should register in advance. This is especially true if you come in a larger group and/or want to eat. The Corner Pub is located on the ground floor of a house built in 1891 (that's what it says on the roof). The impressive collegiate church is right next door and if you have time, it is also worth a visit. There are enough parking spaces in the large car park. But please remember: “Don’t drink and drive!”. I didn't have to internalize this saying during my visit, because I was a guest in the same house under the roof in a holiday apartment that also comes highly recommended. Conclusion: 5 stars, I can't complain, on the contrary - I felt very comfortable and can warmly recommend the Corner Pub. We had an appointment there with friends yesterday. It was my first time there and we were greeted very friendly by the waitress. The drinks include a pub Guinness, Kilkenny and Hop House as beer and a large selection of whiskey. The menu is small but there is something for everyone. The TexMex schnitzel has a slight spiciness and I really enjoyed it.

Wow...well if I could, I would pack up the pub and take it home with me! We stumbled across it online by chance while we were on holiday here and we are simply thrilled. Especially as a vegetarian and non-alcohol drinker, it's hard to find delicious dinner around here... the mozzarella sticks with a variety of side salads and extra-crunchy potato wedges + non-alcoholic homemade drink were awesome! We will miss it when we go home!!!

A really good restaurant/PUB. The food was great, the atmosphere was great and the service was great.

We spent an evening eating in this pub. The drinks menu was very clear, 2 different beers and a lot of whiskey (if you like it), 1-2 cocktails would have been good for the menu! The homemade lemonade was quite tasty! There was a solyanka that was more reminiscent of a lukewarm cucumber soup, but the schnitzel au four (probably meant to be reminiscent of the steak au four from days gone by!??) didn't convince me! On the side a salad that just wanted too much, (different types of vegetables and fruit) all in all, a lot of taste on the plate that didn't fit together! The schnitzel with fried egg was OK. Otherwise the menu didn't really have much else to offer!

Everything was great, especially the interior design, but the opening times are very narrow. If more guests came, this would certainly be different. Only open until 10 p.m. on weekends and until 9 p.m. during the week. Nevertheless, the food is very tasty and the drinks are great. One drawback: there are only 0.3L glasses, very unusual for a pub, so unfortunately a star deduction. The location is directly at the collegiate church of Cyriakus. All in all very nice

Discovered by chance 20 minutes before opening time. Unfortunately, a larger group was expected at opening time...but after asking, we were allowed to come straight away and were served super quickly and very nicely, even before the group arrived. Food highly recommended and Guinness anyway. Thank you. Very nice in a nice atmosphere.

Very cool location in Gernrode! A super nice lady welcomed us in a cool pub! We immediately felt comfortable and welcome! We had schnitzel with side dishes and we have to say, it was super tasty! The food was not only very tasty but also beautifully prepared. Someone in the kitchen is putting a lot of thought into making sure it not only tastes good but also looks great! We came across this pup by chance. It was already after 8 p.m. It was open until 9 p.m. The service was super friendly, the food was absolutely delicious and just before the end of the day...Absolute 100% recommendation.

Hier haben wir eine sehr schönen Abend verbracht. Man kommt sich vorgestaltet wie in Irland. Die Einrichtung bis ins kleinste Detail mit Liebe gestaltet und auch der Service ist sehr herzlich gewesen.

Wir waren im Urlaub mehrfach zum Abendessen dort und unsere Kinder wollten immer wieder hin. Idealer Service der keine Wünsche offen ließ. Das Essen war sehr ansprechend und auch die Auswahl an Getränke setzte sich von anderen Lokalen ab. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder beim nächsten Urlaub im Harz.

Die sind übrigens zu empfehlen! Das Essen war okay, aber ich habe auch keine herausragende Küche erwartet, es ist ja kein Restaurant. Die Salatbeilage ist besonders kreativ und war das beste am Essen. Die Bedienung war zu uns recht freundlich. ABER: Das war ein Klassentreffen, das wurde vorher auch so kommuniziert. Um 22.00 hieß es: Wir schließen jetzt. Keine letzte Runde. Tja, dann standen wir 22.30 vor dem Pub an einem Samstagabend. Ich habe gar nicht mehr erwartet, nach Corona, dass wir bis mitten in der Nacht die Möglichkeit bekommen, dort auszuharren. Aber doch wenigstens bis 24.00. Die Begründung, dass selbst die Griechen in Quedlinburg um 22.00 schließen, kann man nicht gelten lassen. Schließlich sind das Restaurants und keine Pubs. Letztere leben doch nach meiner Auffassung vom Trinkgeschäft. Nun, der Corner Pub in Gernrode hat es offenbar nicht nötig, Umsatz zu machen. Da nutzt dann auch das schönste Ambiente, die reichhaltigste Karte und auch eine freundliche Bedienung nichts. Wir werden dort leider kein Event mehr planen.

Mega empfehlenswert. Geht da rein Reservierung notwendig. Lohnt sich!

Nette und offene Bedienung. Steht's freundlich und das Essen wird dem Preis in Geschmack und Menge mehr als gerecht. Ich komme mit Freunden und Familie regelmäßig zu wichtigen Anlässen hier her und wir werden bereits familiär empfangen. Das Ambiente versetzt einen direkt in eine gesellige und gemütliche Pub Stimmung, die man so auch aus irischen Pubs kennt und somit das Sahnehäubchen auf der Torte ist. Von mir 5 Sterne und wenn mehr gehen würden, hätten die Betreiber auch mehr verdient!

Wenn ich hier einkehre und mich auf diesen gemütlichen Ledersessel niederlasse kann ich für ein paar Stunden dem Alltag entfliehen und abschalten. Bei wunderbarer Bedienung und leckerer Kost. Ein großes Dankeschön an dieses tolle Team und Danke für eure Bemühungen. Ihr macht jeden Abend einzigartig der uns in Erinnerung bleibt.

28.10.2023 Nachtrag: Nach wie vor kommen wir immer wieder gern in diesen tollen und urgemütlichen Pub. Die Küche hat für uns stets eine gleich bleibende hervorragende Qualität. Wir werden immer freundlich empfangen und der Service ist in all den Jahren unverändert super freundlich und sehr sehr herzlich. Wir möchten Danke sagen und euch für alle die schöne Zeit danken. Auf viele weitere schöne Abende bei euch. Diesen Pub kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Die Preise sind mehr als fair und der Service ist hervorragend. Schnell und stets freundlich wurden wir bedient obwohl wir an diesem Abend bzw Morgen die letzten Gäste waren, hatten wir immer noch das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Das Essen ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, wirklich lecker. Bei einem Besuch in diesem Pub fällt gleich auf mit wie viel Liebe alles eingerichtet ist. Es war ein super toller Abend bei Euch und dafür sagen wir DANKE. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Hat uns sehr gut gefallen, Irland im Harz. Da früher Abend war es noch relativ ruhig. Jede Menge Gesellschaftsspiele vor Ort, sehr schöne Einrichtung, Vorsicht Verwechslungsgefahr bei den Toilettentüren :-)

Wir gehen gerne in den Pub, wenn wir in Gernrode sind. Es ist gemütlich, das Essen ist erwartungsgemäß gut und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Die Preise sind absolut angemessen. Die Einrichtung entspricht einem Pub. Wer das mag ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Ich finde es toll, dass es so etwas gibt und wüsste nix zu beanstanden. Daher volle Punktzahl.

Ein absolutes Highlight! Von der Aufmachung des Pubs über die Auswahl der Getränke bis hin zur Präsentation der Speisen stimmt hier alles bis in das kleinste Detail! Wir hatten das Glück in unserem Urlaub dieses Pub zu finden, was unsere Rettung war. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Es wird heiss serviert, ist liebevoll dekoriert und qualitativ echt lecker. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier. Die Biere schmecken, genauso wie die Cocktails. Das Lokal ist mit vielen kleinen Details verziert und es gibt immer wieder neues zu entdecken (mit eine großer Auswahl an Gesellschaftsspielen) Die Musik wechselt, so das für jeden etwas dabei ist. Und selbst der Service ist hier super. Die Dame war an allen Tagen freundlich auch wenn das Lokal voll war. Danke für den schönen Urlaub. PS: Heute, 20.08.23 nach ca. einem Jahr waren wir im Urlaub nun mit unseren drei Kindern und Hund wieder hier gewesen. Es war wieder total klasse hier. Der Service ist spitze auch auf den Hund wurde super Rücksicht genommen. Es gibt viele Gesellschaftsspiele und man kann sich und Kinder super beschäftigen. Schade, dass es solche tollen Pups nicht oft gibt und schon gar nicht bei uns in Wohnortnähe. Beim nächsten Urlaub wird dies wieder unsere Anlaufstelle werden. Danke an die freundliche Bedienung.

Super leckeres Essen, sehr höfliche Bedienung und top Preise. Dazu sehr sauber ....5 Punkte sind es wirklich wert.

Weil es uns beim ersten Besuch so gut gefallen hat, waren wir am nächsten Abend wieder dort. Das Essen ist absolut lecker. Sowohl Mann als auch Frau können zu sehr günstigen Preisen schlemmen. Tolle Salate, leckeres Fingerfood und sehr delikate Schnittelgerichte. Die Bedienung war sehr sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das irische Flair ist toll. Es gibt auch Brettspiele und Dart. Insgesamt ein sehr gemütlicher Ort an dem wir uns sehr wohl und gut versorgt fühlten.

Das Essen war einfach Spitze.. dazu die Getränke wie Aperol Spritz und Radler.. sehr zu empfehlen.. Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und super nett.. wir kommen gerne wieder..

Um 22.00 schließt die Küche. Als ich um 22.30 kam und nach Essen fragte, hat der Chef die Küche für mich aktiviert. Hut ab, das findet man nicht alle Tage. 👌🤘

Wir waren ein wenig Abends in Gernode spazieren und fanden dieses schöne Pub. Sehr schön eingerichtet, tolle Musik und die Getränke sind lecker und kostengünstig. Jeder der die Stiftskirche besucht sollte gleich im Pub vorbeischauen. Es gibt was zu Essen und Getränke die zum Erholen und einer Pause einladen. Wer Lust zum spielen hat, kann es dort gerne machen, es gibt diverse Karten- und Brettspiele. Sollten wir wieder in den Harz fahren und in der Gegend sein, werden wir wieder das Corner Pub besuchen.

Atmosphärisches Plätzchen. Limonade hausgemacht und lecker. Die Chicken Wings sind wieder so gut wie beim letzten Besuch.

Ein ganz tolles Lokal. Super urig, sehr gemütlich und tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, wunderbare Bedienung. Die Gesellschaftsspiele vor Ort sind eine wunderbare Idee, sogar eine Dartscheibe ist vorhanden.

Total uriges und super liebevoll eingerichtetes Pub. Wenn man möchte, kann man nen Spieleabend machen. Gesellschaftsspiele waren reichlich vorhanden. Sehr schade, dass es sowas nicht in Hamburg gibt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Cider (Stowford) ran die Kehle nur so runter und das Personal war sehr herzlich und super freundlich. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt.
