My experience at Coreen Korean Restaurant was disappointing. The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt tense. The manager, Erick, was shouting at his employees, which made the whole dining experience uncomfortable. It seemed like the staff was stressed and overwhelmed, which affected the service. The food was average at best—nothing stood out, and some dishes were lukewarm. The unprofessional environment overshadowed any positives. I wouldn't recommend dining here unless things improve.

Best bibimbap in Berlin, especially when it is served in hot stone bowls! Tables are bit tiny for big groups so it’s more enjoyable for 2-3 people. Staff is kind. During weekends or Fridays reservation is recommended.

Just another Korean restaurant, then. Why do I even wear them? The food is like in other Korean restaurants - it never amazes the imagination, so this time, in order to remember what I ate there, I had to look at the pictures. I ate a seafood pancake (so-so) and mandu dumplings (served in a bamboo steamer, although the dumplings were fried). We took a tempting offer with 500 grams of shrimp (although if I had scales, I would have weighed it - it was less by eye). It tastes like thawed fried shrimp with garlic. They forgot to bring my mango salad for dessert and then looked at me askance when I asked when it would be possible to enjoy this exotic dish. In general, if it weren’t for the pleasant interior (although I sat mostly overlooking the kitchen) and good company, I would have been completely bored there. I paid with a 50% discount from the fork app, if I had paid at full price, I would have been completely sad. In general, I went once, but have no desire to return.

Service was super friendly. Ambience cozy. But the food was so salty and didnt really had a flavour concept. Fried chicken was no korean fried chicken just some mass product crispy Chicken from the freezer. Food is quite expensive for the quality.

Found this place by coincidence and I’m very happy about it. I was greeted with an enthusiastic ✨annyeonghaseyo✨. The food was very delicious. I had a vegetarian ramyun which tasted very light and mild (perfect if you can’t eat spice) - it was a huge portion(!) definitely recommending the guava/dragonfruit Schorle - so good ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧

It's a beautiful small Corean restaurant on Torstrasse, very central, we found it on The Fork app. The food it's more expensive then normal restaurants in Berlin, but the quality is average, I would expected something better. The appetizer was delicious we took the pancakes but the main course I had the salmon was quite normal quality.

Disproportionately expensive for bibimbap with burnt rice and regular vegetables instead of real Korean salad. I was not impressed with the matcha latte.

Overpriced and mediocre quality

One of the best meals I had in Berlin. Tastes authentic, modern and high quality. The portions are also decent. We had the bibimbap and a bowl. Looking forward to next time.

For me, Coréen is my first choice for Korean food. The mix of tradition and modernity is perfectly combined here. The food is excellent and even the drinks are of high quality! The service was also super attentive, which is unfortunately not a given these days. My no.1 spot for Korean cuisine 💛

The food is not delicious, the spicy cabbage, soup and spicy stir-fried pork belly are not Korean, they are like failed Vietnamese imitations. The price is exaggerated, the food is not worth the price, and the exquisite presentation cannot hide the fact that it is not delicious. When ordering, we were asked if we wanted Kimchi appetizers. We thought we would have free snacks like other Korean restaurants. When we checked out, we found out that it was 7 euros... The only thing is that the service attitude is not bad, but the overall price/performance ratio is too low. I will not come again.

Great Korean restaurant in the heart of Berlin!!! We have recently been at Coreen restaurant with some friends and we have fully enjoyed the authenticity of this Korean restaurant. Fresh ingredients and good service made our visit truly become a short trip to Korea. Thank you to the Coreen team!!

2 times! I ordered 2 times the same day; i don't hink you understood, 2 times in one day!!😆😆 and i eat as much as a baby bird. And a week later I went back to order the same thing!!.. I don't know what they put in their food, but they must never stop putting it 😆😆 ... then there are vegan options, I'm not vegan but it's good to vary the pleasures. .. in short, if I don't pay my rent this month ... it's because of them, so you know where my money ends up 😆😅 more seriously, the food is delicious, the welcome is warm and the place is quiet and INSTAGRAMABLE ... i the miso or myso (i don't know) is good ... first time trying it and i want more ... but .. my stomach .. I need more place 😆😆😆 and they speak English and Deutsch voilà

Tasty Korean food and nice atmosphere

Perfect place for some tasty modern korean cuisine, love the vibe. My favourite from the restaurant is tofu curry bowl, bibimbap with kimchi and love the lemon ginger tea. The place has nice calm environment, and at last I would say the desert was delicious and especially the presentation with the sparking thingy, too good for a romantic dinner too!

Awesome place on Torstraße! We had the Bibimbap in a hot bowl which was full of flavor and tasted amazing. The service was attentive and kind and the place nicely decorated with a great vibe.

If I could give it a zero, I would. I was there yesterday for lunch and haven’t been to such a bad place for a long time. Service is friendly but food and especially quality is the worst. They sell you homemade lemonade and what you get is lemon and ginger pieces with regular Schweppes on top. Lunch bowl is just a big portion of rice with the topping of your choice and no sauce and no Korean touch. I was very disappointed! Looked like a nice spot but my friend and I didn’t like it.

The slowest lunch special I have had in Berlin. Took nearly 20 minutes just for the miso soup. Food was average, much better and more authentic Korean options in Berlin.

The atmosphere at Coréen is beautiful. The restaurant is very stylish and modern, from lots of plants and beautiful lighting to small vases and lamps on the tables and blankets on the chairs - every detail has been thought of. We were there in December and it was pleasantly warm and cozy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food tastes great. Only the prices are a little bit high. :)

Our visit to the restaurant was entirely positive. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and we were both greeted and farewelled personally by the chef - a really nice and personal touch. A small suggestion: It would be perfect if the chef gave additional recommendations for newcomers. The food itself was excellent, every dish was perfect and we were absolutely impressed with the taste. The only small point of criticism is the temperature in the restaurant: in the colder months it could be a little warmer. We were there in November and it wasn't optimally heated on the day we visited, possibly an exception. There is also a draft at the entrance door, which doesn't close well, which particularly affects the front area when it's cold. Tip: It is better not to sit on the left side next to the door. A special compliment to the team, who kindly offered us another table as soon as a place became available. Conclusion: Excellent food, great service, only small improvements in the area of ​​temperature and door would make the visit perfect.

Ambiente accogliente, servizio veloce. Ho preso dei ravioli alla piastra, buoni ma molto unti, poi il bibimbab, piatto coreano molto interessante. Riso, verdure e tofu con salamino piccante a parte. La crostina che si forma sul fondo della ciotola di pietra calda è ottima. Abbiamo preso anche una crema di cocco con gelato di Macha e marmellata di arance, arrivato con una decorazione fiammeggiante tipo dolce di compleanno. Prezzo nella media per la zona.

Wonderful experience at Coréen in Berlin! I felt very comfortable during my visit to Coréen. The Kimchi Pajeon was incredibly tasty and authentically prepared – a real highlight. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and inviting, ideal for enjoying in peace. The view outside was particularly beautiful, where the autumn leaves were blowing gently in the wind and creating a special atmosphere. The service was also excellent – ​​friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a great experience that I can only recommend. I'd love to come back.

We ate there on a Friday evening. The boss received us by telling us that we were late before changing her mind and apologizing for her mistake. We took an entry for 2. For main course, a ramen and a bolw. The dishes were well cooked, tasty and plentiful. The service was fast. The smiling waitresses. Too bad the tables are too close to each other, which leaves little privacy for conversations.

The ramen soup used to be amazing. Today is was a disappointment: cold, flavorless, and with expired tofu. Not coming back, sadly.

They have a dog in the corner that attacked and bit my girlfriend, luckily it didn't break her skin. Not cool! A restaurant that charges so much, should not keep an angry dog pent up inside. The food is not bad, especially the dumplings.

The stuff is friendly but the food was ok. I was there for lunch and ordered Salmon bowl. The food was hot but the Salmon was dry. I would say the meal is expensive for a lunch meal.

Food was mid. Not really typical Korean and on top of the in my bimbimbab my rice wasn’t very fresh? Or at least didn’t seem like it. Lacked flavor. Fine for if you want a quick bite, but expensive for what it is, 28 euros for kimchi and bimbimbab is wild.

Our first time Korean food and with just loved it! Every single dish we had was an explosion of various spices in our mouth. Delicious! The portions are huge for a budget friendly price. Really nice staff also. The only thing we regretted a bit was the busy trafic if you sit outside. Inside the restaurant is nicely decorated and trendy. We strongly recommend!

Erster Eindruck: Boutique-style, kaum oder gar keine pseudo-asiatische Deko, klein, aber doch irgendwie recht hübsch und gepflegt. Super netter Empfang durch die Bedienungen (wenn auch teilweise auf Englisch, macht aber nichts), und dann ging es los. Es gibt zwar keine Banchan aber die Vorspeisenauswahl hat es in sich. Neben dem üblichen Kimchi (sehr zu empfehlen), den sehr leckeren Pajeons und dem Gurkensticks hatten wir auch mehrere andere Starters, alle top-notch. Als Hauptspeise hatten uns Bibimbap, die Ribs, die Wings und die Mandus angelacht, wurde alles mit ausreichend Soju und Tiger Bier begleitet, und der Entschluss stand fest. Hierher kommen wir jederzeit gerne wieder und empfehlen auch.

We reserved a table at 6:30 p.m., but when we arrived the restaurant was almost empty. The waitress immediately spoke to us in English as if we were tourists, but her colleague immediately jumped in and welcomed us in German. The description in the menu promises more than reality. The food came relatively quickly. Korean pancake was more like Korean crepe, €1.50 for a hot sauce is steep. Salmon tempura makes others better. Lovely find on the ever busy Torstaße. It's hard to shine here with so many choices all around here. Service fantastic, menu small but well balanced and finally, for the location, a pretty good value proposition with about €20 for a main dish. We had the crispy duck bowl, which were great. Lunch menu is similar but even better value as most dishes are less than €15! Loved this place and will be back for sure. Highly recommended.

Amazing food, period. The vegi mandus were out of this world. They have a lot of vegan options clearly labeled and an entire table with a code of letters/numbers to identify allergens!!! Both vegan bowls were delicious, huge portions!! And the French waiter who works there deserves a golden star, he was sooooo nice with every single customer despite being alone to take care of everyone. Would definitely go back!!

The veggie bibimbap (15€) was extremely small, barely any rice - could‘ve been a starter in my opinion. 15 euros for 2 table spoons of rice, one egg, and two more tablespoons of shredded veggies, I’m sorry that’s what it felt like. They gave me a small miso soup when I told them. Which is nice, but kinda hoped they bring some more rice. However my friend liked her crispy duck and she had a bigger portion, so might’ve been by accident? Taste was alright - nothing special. However, the place itself is nice and also has outdoor seating. The service was nice too. They brought us blankets without asking and they were very fast. Would’ve given 4 stars if I wouldn’t have needed a second dinner after.

The service was neither friendly nor helpful. There was cleaning and tidying up 90 minutes before closing time, which made it uncomfortable. The kimchi was very good and fresh. Unfortunately, the vegetable curry was more of a German potato soup than a Korean dish. A pity!

We tried korean style pork ribs as starter ( absolutely recommended if you don't mind sweet sauce) , korean spicy Ramyun and bulgogi bimbimbap in a stone bowl . The dishes tasted good if not outstanding and we finished our meal with baked banana and matcha icecream which was not that impressive to us. Personally I prefer the crumb coated baked bananas which adds more crunch to the dish. The place was well lit wih unque hanging lights , though the seating could have been more comfortable. Service is great, staff communicates in fluent English. Plus points for being pet friendly. The pricing seemed to be bit on the higher side for the offerings.

YUMMY AND DELICIOUS - the Korean food we had here was authentic, tasty and affordable! We were impressed by the waitress’ ability to speak multiple languages fluently (English and Korean and German) and if we are ever in Berlin again we would come back here in a heart beat. Highly recommend if you are longing for some Korean food in Berlin!

Great bowl and udon selection. Really enjoyed the chicken curry udon which has a delicious curry sauce and a nice bite on the udon. Interior design is modern with good vibes, especially in the dark winter months. Really good service when we went too.

Decent Korean restaurant in Mitte. Seating arrangement is a bit uncomfortable for long durations. Yuk Gae Jang Ramen did not taste well. I would recommend the Bulgogi Bibimbap and the Gogi Mandu. For a non-Korean chef, the food is decent and well-made (the above mentioned).
