A Great Korean experience. Loved the food. Loved that they kept everything spicy like it should be

Perfect bibimbap with bulgogi beef. At first I thought that I was just too hungry, but no it is really that good. Well prepared meet, tasty sauces, good rice and price is reasonable 10,50 Euro or something around this. Didn’t try burgers yet, but definitely will do next time

We ordered the Chicken Bibimbap, Korean Fried Chiken, along with Orange Ginger Lemonade and Coconut Shake. The chicken was super juicy and delicious, so was bibimbap. The drinks were just alright. The prices are a bit expensive, but it is a nice place to hang out occasionally.

I didn't see any Korean people among the staff, and when I go to a Korean restaurant, it's not what I expect, and I had bad experiences before with restaurants claiming to be Korean but not run by any Korean person at all and you could tell. Not sure if they have any Korean in charge at all, but this was such a pleasant surprise! We ordered the bbq to share for two and it was so delicious!! The meat was beautifully marinated, full of flavour but not too spicy. It came with lots of veggies, glass noodles and also a portion of lettuce, sauces and big portion of rice. We kept eating and food wasn't running out, it's a really generous portion! Tasted really good and I think it was great for the price. I would recommend!

The waitress was just terrible - rude, annoyed and with a look like she was going to explode at any moment. We actually wanted to eat there and enjoy the place, but such miserable service drives everyone away. I don't know if that's normal there, but as long as this woman works there, I strongly advise anyone not to go. Save your money - this store is absolutely not worth it.

I had Korean food for the first time today. It was very good, especially the marinated chicken, so tender and deliciously seasoned. The BBQ dips were also great. Preparation at the table guarantees freshness and everything stays nice and hot on the plate. The staff was very nice and attentive. I found the drinks to be a bit too expensive. The ambience is very dark. It was also a bit uncomfortable to sit. Very hard chairs and benches, some without backrests and unfortunately without seat cushions. But overall, a very nice enjoyable experience. Would definitely like to come back.

We were there very often back then and enjoyed it very much. The food is delicious and tastes good. However, we think that the last few times the portions were very small for the price and unfortunately the taste was no longer as usual. And we always order a lot because we are often there in large groups. Otherwise you should definitely make a reservation from 5 p.m. Because it is quite small there.

Excellent food, decent atmosphere

Interesting stools that are somewhat reminiscent of a playground thanks to their suspension. The interior is more like modern - rustic. You have to like it. The mango and pineapple coconut shake were very tasty as was the BBQ, we had pork belly, beef and squid, among other things. The food was great. The service also good. You can definitely visit more often.

Appetizers should be accompanied by plates, especially if the appetizer is for two people, otherwise the food is delicious.

We recently visited Chicogi for a dinner date and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy night out. We ordered beef with vegetables, rice, and noodles, as well as steamed wontons. The beef was flavorful and well-marinated, pairing perfectly with the fresh vegetables. The rice and noodles complemented the meal nicely, adding great texture and balance. The steamed wontons were a highlight—soft, juicy, and packed with delicious filling. The service at Chicogi was friendly and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great meal, and we’d definitely return for another round of delicious Korean BBQ! The food had a good quality and was also very nicely presented. Although card payment was generally accepted. American Express wasn't. In general it is a nice place to go and eat out but not very cheap.

My first experience with korean food. But it was very good. Service was nice and very fast. We were a group of five people. All if us enjoyed their meals.

definitely not worth the price... the starters prices are insanely high for the quantity that is served. the kimchi pajeon tasted more like a saltless omelette with some vegetables thrown in there, the kimchi bits were neither sour nor spicy. having good kimchi is the bare minimum for a korean restaurant

Good lunch spot, great food options and quick service

I was very happy with the food on my first visit here, but unfortunately it was a disaster on my second attempt today. Called in advance to see if there was still a table available and reserved just to arrive and everything was full??? A table was then evasively shown right next to the open toilet door…. Poorly organized and rude, a shame as the food is delicious. Please be honest on the phone if it is full.

The stone pot is a proper stone pot, there are plenty of ingredients, and you don't even need to add eggs! There aren't many places that offer food like this, it's really delicious and cheap! It doesn't seem to be run by a Korean, but this is the most delicious bibimbap I've had in Berlin. Compare my bibim reviews.

We were here on Sunday afternoon. It was a little crowded but we still managed to get a seat. The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding, friendly, attentive and warm. Absolutely recommended

We came hungry, eager to enjoy a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, we left deeply disappointed. The experience started with stale kimchi that lacked the signature tang and freshness you'd expect. The pancake, which we had high hopes for, turned out to be completely flavorless, leaving us unimpressed. The service further dampened the experience. The staff were non-communicative and inattentive, making it difficult to address any concerns or requests during our meal. To top it off, the restaurant's poor ventilation was a major issue. By the time we left, we carried the heavy smell of BBQ on our clothes, which was far from a pleasant souvenir. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience, and we’re unlikely to return.

Food too rich and no longer original Korean unfortunately. Simply too much, too fatty, too rich. Unfortunately, this was adapted to the European stomach. Too bad. Service partly overwhelmed. So you can do it, but it's not an insider tip, sorry.

Loved this place! We were three to Tey Korean BBQ. The portions were so generous that we would be full even with ordering 2 BBQs.

Atmosphere is good, food is above average in comparison to other Korean BBQ restaurant in Berlin. However, the attitude of the waitress is terrible. I went here 2 years ago and it was different during that time, the waiter that served us 2 years ago was really good with his services. I didn't expect that the service went down so much now.

Delicious!! The best Vietnamese food!

The food was really good- but the eating experience could’ve been way more enjoyable. We ordered 4 portions of the grill and instead of getting the full order all at once we only got one grill and the side veggies. We ate everything up because we thought that was it. Since we didn’t get any further information from the waitress. It wasn’t until we were all finished with everything that the waitress lets us know that there is another grill coming. Which we were happy to hear because we thought that one and only portion we got had been a little too less for four orders.. anyway.. we would’ve appreciated that all the food had come all at once or at least that the waitress would’ve let us known before so we wouldn’t have eaten all the sides already.

Terrific food, best miso soup I had sofar, the kimchi really good as well and the bibimbab was crisp, hot and tasty. Unbelievable how many people fit in a small restaurant. Service is good but because of the crowdedness you have to draw their attention

Not entirely authentically Korean, nor run by Koreans. You could tell a bit in the spices of the food, as well as the ingredients, but especially in the type of rice and the different types of sauce, which Koreans would never eat in a combo (except for ssamjang). The price was also a bit expensive, but overall 4 stars because the food itself wasn't that bad and because the service was super friendly.

A really nice place – although we visited when it was really cold in September so it was chilly inside. The food was very tasty and prepared so quickly, although the spice levels were higher than I expected. I loved the tea selection & would definitely recommend any of the teas from the menu! 😊🍵

The waiter was terrible rude. They give non Korean rice (normal jasmine rice). Taste was also very no original. This is first time I am giving such a low review. I am very disappointed.

The Korean BBQ was very good, super delicious! Not very spicy! Very well served! The staff is friendly and attentive ! The place is a little small but I did not have the feeling that I was too Smokey when I left there. The only BUT is that I felt super thirsty when I left the restaurant.. maybe the seasoning used for the meat was too salty.

Delicious food, we had a beef bbq for 2 persons and another veggie bbf for 2. The food is a bit spicy, but totally reasonable for someone who is not eating spicy foods. It took a while to get the food, but it was very crowded so it’s understandable. Totally recommend

Nice flavour tried the udon noodles but too much oil for my own liking.

Good food, especially for lunches. At the same time, it’s hard to comprehend the speed of the service which takes ages to collect the order, we were the table of 6 people and we left eventually as waiter was busy taking orders from people who arrived after us.

We had the Mandu as appertizer. The sauces that came with it very amazing. Also had the beef bbq with the us beef - aaaamazing. Very flavourful and delicious. Cannot understand some of the reviews. Very recommendable ♥️

Bibimbap was delicious, no problem however what is the point of heating the plate to 1000 celsius degree? I had to wait like 20 minutes and the more i mixed the food to cool it down, it was getting hotter. I put cold full kimchi plate inside and then kimchi was also cooked and got too hot. I had to take the food to kimchi plate to be able to eat after 30 minutes. After i paid, bibimbap plate was still untouchably hot. Of course this is Some kind stupid city life problem.

Food was very flavorful, meal came out super quick, 9 out of 11 sauces were great, beef was tender. Highly recommend and very satisfied !! 😁😁

Nice, small restaurant on Oranienburger Strsasse. Friendly and quick service. The food is great, the place is rustic, clean and has a nice, lively atmosphere. I paid around €15 for Bi Bim Bap Tofu and a beer. You can sit outside, card payment possible.

Awesome place. Super tasty food, friendly staff,great ambiance. Outdoor and indoor seating, clean toilets. A great variety of Korean dishes, I ate a few and still can't decide which one was better. Not to mention side dishes and sauces, yummy. All in all, a great experience, will visit again for sure.☺️

Having tried many Korean restaurants in Germany and been to Korea twice myself, I had high expectations for the food in this restaurant. Of course, I realize that the flavors may vary due to different spices and ingredients, but compared to my previous experiences, I found the food here to be unusually sour. Both the Bulgogi beef and chicken had a very similar taste, which I found a bit of a shame as I was expecting more variety (we had Beef Bolgogi and Hand Galbi). In addition, several sauces were put on the table, and until the end we weren't sure which dishes they should go with. The Kimchi Padjeon was also a very big disappointment. The batter was firstly eggy (traditionally no eggs are used for this pancake) and secondly very mochi-like. Unfortunately it wasn't fried until crispy and had a lot of vegetables, but there was hardly any kimchi in it. However, I would like to positively highlight the rice and the homemade drinks, which were really tasty and left a lasting impression. Nice to have would be deductions above the tables. Grilling makes the restaurant very hot, which can be unpleasant in summer.

Tasteless and over-priced unfortunately

I wanted to eat Korean food again and visit this restaurant for a long time. The atmosphere is very nice and the food was incredibly tasty. For the price, the food is okay. The people there are very hospitable and treat people with full respect. Service top, everything top. That's why you deserve the 5 stars. I recommend this restaurant to others.

I've been there several times. At lunchtime there is a special menu with selected dishes at a very good price-performance ratio, but you can also order from the normal menu. Although it gets crowded quickly at lunchtime, you get your food pretty quickly. Today my companion and I had bibimbap with (raw) salmon, crispy chicken and Korean crepes as a starter. We enjoyed it very much. A week ago I had bibimbap with tofu, which was also very tasty. I've also tried the tofu burger. I didn't like it that much, but that's probably a matter of taste. We will be back!

You should definitely make a reservation early as this small restaurant is always busy. That's no wonder, because the food tasted extremely good and the people who worked there were always nice and very accommodating (despite the high stress level). We really enjoyed our evening there. We arrived attracted by the heady scents and the cool and industrial/oriental look of the place. We tasted typical dishes served hot, immediately and very tasty.

Really great food! The homemade yuza lemonade was insanely good and refreshing. They offer good vegetarian options. I had the vegan crispy tofu veggie bowl, which was very reasonably priced and had really delicious and crunchy tofu on top! I also enjoyed the industrial-like interior. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. It can get a bit crowded tho, as the restaurant is rather cozy.

I recently ate here when a friend was visiting in Berlin. We have generally visited a lot of Korean restaurants in Berlin and in your city Frankfurt, plus 13 visits to Korea alone by me, and I always eat Japchae everywhere to compare it, here it was instead of slightly 'sweet' but just salty and Unfortunately, it's really too salty. For the price I expected high quality but unfortunately it was the worst Japchae I've ever eaten. At the end I also mentioned that it was very salty (and I actually love salt - if I say something is too salty, no one in my family dares to try it). I hope that it was adjusted afterwards, but I probably won't go there again to test it because the price is really a bit too high, there is far too much choice in Berlin, you really have to be able to offer something~

The food is not authentic Korean, but it’s still pretty decent we really liked the drinks, the cranberry ginger is the best imo, but bbq overall is just okay. The reason I give 3 star is majorly for the price point v/s qty and taste, I feel everything on the menu is overpriced for the location and the quality.

Um there is a reason this is Berlin 146th best Korean. Folk, friends, people... This is not Korean BBQ. A few pieces of meat thrown in with veggies so that the water from the veggies simmers your meat on a portable pan is not KBBQ. The Korean Fried chicken just a lot of batter on small pieces of chicken. Korean side dishes miniscule. The sauces are three different kinds of mayonnaise. It really is sad. And if you want a real Kbbq experience keep walking. The cook neither the employees are Korean. Add to all this $25 per person. It really is sad.

Minus: - Unfermented raw cabbage, pickled sweet and sour, is sold as kimchi (I find it cheeky to offer something as kimchi in a Korean restaurant that is unfermented). - The food (squid with vegetables) was one-dimensional and boringly seasoned. It was just spicy and sweet, nothing more. I know it from other Korean restaurants, which is different and more sophisticated in terms of seasoning. - More expensive for what you ultimately get, which is not really authentic Korean food in my opinion. - My companion's salad with tofu was good, but in my opinion it was also overly sweet. Plus: - Very fresh, the squid was buttery soft. - Everything is pleasing to the eye, the food is served very “instagrammable”. Conclusion: Tourist restaurant that offers customers something for the eye, but not necessarily something for the palate. The price range also suggests that the target group is tourists.

Fantastic dinner! First time eating Korean, had the pork ribs for starters and then the brisket. Really tasty loved it all! Service was excellent and fast, despite the place being packed. Great for meeting with friends!
