The best Korean in Berlin! Authentic and super yummy: my fav dishes are from The Korean menu: Pork Bossam, the oxtail soup, the seafood soup Sundubu jigae and the Korean pancakes!

Very simple but authentic decor, just like the typical shops in South Korea. The service is very friendly and quick. The food is very tasty, typical selection of dishes, but very cheap compared to other Korean barbecue shops. (There is a menu in Chinese with other dishes, although you have to translate yourself, but it's worth it :). Seoul Kwan is my personal favorite of all the Korean shops in Berlin. It's very tasty, super cheap and the atmosphere is pleasant for relaxing and enjoying your meal.

I always enjoy coming here. There are very tasty dishes. The dessert particularly appealed to me. Original traditional Korean cuisine. Simply great! Tip: Ask for the special menu if you want to order special Korean dishes, e.g. Naeng-Myeon (cold noodles), Jjajang-Myeon (black noodles), special stews, etc.

The restaurant is a bit away from town, the food was really good, the only thing I thought was a minus was that you got a lot of noodles but no vegetables. Nice staff and the backyard feels like Thailand.

Formerly a rather mediocre Korean. However, this has changed recently. We were here a few days ago and were extremely impressed. We ordered 육개장 (Yukgae-jang), 도가니탕 (Dogani-tang) and Fried Chicken and all the dishes were comparable to an authentic Korean, which is a rarity in Berlin these days.

It was really, really, really delicious🤤🤤 The cold noodles were refreshing and there was a lot of tripe! But among them, bossam is really crazy... . It's really, really crazy... It’s better than the bossam I had in Korea!!!!!! First of all, the meat was really soft, and the kimchi was really crunchy and sweet. I enjoyed it so much💖💖

It was the most delicious kimchi and bossam I’ve ever had in my life! The tripe hotpot and cold noodles were also really delicious. It was the best Korean restaurant I’ve eaten in Europe🥰

Very yummy korean food! The restaurant could be found a bit away from the hot spots of Berlin and hidden since the house undergoes renovation works so we first missed it. The place looks a bit older and very traditional with nice wall decorations. There is a German and a Korean menu on the table with different dishes (but no problem in times of google translator. We had cold noodles and Ox tail soup from the korean menu). You will get free small kimchi dishes along with the main dishes (which was the case in every korean restaurant years before but seldomly today). The restaurant has a nice website where they state to be the oldest korean restaurant in Berlin. Prices are very reasonable. We like and recommend it.

Korean really good! I lived in Korea for two years. If I'm looking for authentic Korean cuisine here in Berlin, then this restaurant is my first choice.

Yesterday, while visiting Berlin, I was looking for a good restaurant for a while and saw comments saying (Oyster Bossam and Gopchang Hotpot are delicious here) that I hurriedly went there. The restaurant is larger than expected and is a Korean restaurant with an old-fashioned and cozy Korean feel. The staff and the owner were very friendly even though they were very busy! We were two young ladies, but we ordered a generous order of oyster bossam, cold cold noodles, soju, and beer... haha. It took a while for the rice and side dishes to come out (it was worth the wait). First of all, the kimchi in Bossam was very seasoned, and the oysters too. It's not fishy and sweet, and the portion is really large, so I ate almost all of it without feeling full (I just ate kebabs a few hours ago). But it's so delicious. Be sure to try the oyster bossam as a side dish. I also like the cold noodles on the side to refresh my taste buds. I recommend the oyster bossam. Next time, I’ll have to come back to eat tripe hotpot. I even bought melona for dessert and it was a satisfying meal!!! I had a good time. Willing to visit again 1000000%

the atmosphere inside is really nice and the food was insanely delicious. definitely an authentic korean restaurant with kind staff! we loved it.

I happened to stop by this Korean restaurant while visiting Berlin for the first time in a while, and it was really delicious! I ate it at the store once, and the next time I got chicken gangjeong, kimchi pancake, and sweet and sour pork for takeout, but when I got home, the portion size was quite small.

This is a place where you can eat oyster bossam, which is hard to find in Germany. Gopchang hotpot is also delicious. The owner has a nice impression and is very friendly.

The oyster bossam was really crazy. It was a must-try. The oyster bossam alone was 45 euros, so it was quite expensive, but it completely quenched my thirst for Korean food that I missed while living abroad. Ha, can you find a place in Korea that makes oyster bossam this delicious? Sipoyoㅠㅠ It's so delicious that I want to go to Berlin again just to eat this. Seriously...

The food was ok. Service was friendly. All in all the visit was OK!

Not that great. Beef grill for 2 portion was small and one gets a tiny portion rice and a few small korean tapas plates that were not that great. If you want extra rice or tapas, then you have to pay 2 Euros per tiny tapas plate or rice plate. The meat had a lot of water comming out of it and that means not such great quality. Also, the meat had chewy / fatty unedible parts in it a few times. That costs 16 Euros per person and the dumplings we ordered were also not that great. No thanks. Bye

I have been doing some research for good Korean places in Berlin and this place caught my attention. The food was great and very close to authentic Korean cuisine. The place is quite unassuming but with a nice low-key vibe.

Oh! A dream! I love Korean food and this restaurant in particular was an absolute eye-catcher :) Insider tip: Korean beer is very tasty and tastes fresh ;) We'd love to come back.

A hidden authentic Korean joint which serves delicious bulgogi and kimchi. I really liked it as the food was very fresh, lots of condiments, freshly cooked dish. The kimchi is really hot, but nice. Although there's construction around the restaurant don't be averted to go in. I find the menu very good, not too much, as usual other restaurants have. The Korean beer was also light and had a good flavour. Overall I would definitely go back there again. Food quality is really good.

I would highly recommend to order from their seasonal/specialty menu that is different from their regular menu sheet. Their regular menu is solid but not rave-worthy. I recommend pork belly dish 보쌈 from their black one-page menu

I was a bit surprised that the menu is written with lots of wrong Korean but correct Chinese. I am not sure the owner had changed but anyway still tasty enough.

They said the oyster bossam was so delicious that I made a reservation the day before and enjoyed it. I also ate all the side dishes. I was a little surprised because the menu price on the website was different from the current price (38 euros on the homepage, 45 euros in the store), because I went to eat oyster bossam. I ate it without asking, but if you're coming soon, please keep that in mind.

Tried their bulgogi and bibimbap. Bulgogi was amazing, bibimbap felt a little bit of rip off because there was barely meat in it, for a slightly expensive menu. The atmosphere is great, and they have lots of tasty complimentary side dishes, loved the egg in the side dish.

Our two boys eat a lot of ethnic food so we came here, a restaurant they already knew. To say that the food is good for those who have little inclination for such cuisine would be too much but in any case we appreciated it. Even the way of cooking, with a plate brought to the table, underneath, is unique and overall pleasant. In any case a good place.

If you miss Korean food in Korea as I did as I was sick, go straight to Seiul Kwan after you are back in Berlin! The family owned and managed magic place, so cozy and comfortable, especially in the cold winter times. There is a big choice of the traditional Korean dishes in including the amazing spicy Daeji Bulgogi, the marinated pork 😋 with rice and salad. That's the favorite! The prices are very affordable and the service is very nice and friendly.

Food was authentic. Sundubu jiggae was top notch. Second time I came, Sundubu jiggaw was not the same quality as before :(

Wir haben für 1830 einen Tisch für drei Erwachsene und zwei kleine Kinder reserviert. Als wir ankamen, wurde uns leider gesagt, dass kein Tisch für uns frei sei, obwohl wir reserviert hatten. Zu allem Übel wurde eine Gruppe von vier Erwachsenen, die nach uns eintraf, direkt an einen Vierertisch verwiesen. Wir wurden 15 Minuten lang im Eingangsbereich ignoriert, während wir geduldig warteten. Es ist eine Schande, wir werden jetzt nicht mehr in dieses Restaurant gehen, obwohl wir das Essen immer gut fanden.

You should make reservations for dinner. With a bit of luck we managed to get a table for two. The selection is focused on the most delicious dishes from Korean cuisine. However, there are so many tempting dishes... Everything was very, very tasty and the service was also very pleasant and attentive. A successful evening 😀

Good food, nice staff. You can't really do anything wrong. Not as fancy as other Koreans, it doesn't have to be, but good, clear cuisine. The only thing that should be clear to you is that there is a barbecue at the table and that you smell a bit like BBQ after an evening. 😉

We visited a Korean restaurant in Berlin for the first time. We were greeted warmly and the service was also very pleasant. The selection of food was ok. There were a lot of pork dishes on the menu. Since we don't eat pork, we all ordered vegetarian. The food was served very hot. The food stayed very hot in the clay bowls for a long time, which was not unpleasant. The ingredients were interesting. It wasn't particularly warm in the restaurant. But the hot food served with table grill provided a warm ambience. 3 people ate for 60 euros including drinks. That's good and fine. We would like to thank the Kwan family for this first good experience. 🥰

The food here is delicious, but the portion size is a bit disappointing... And it took too long for the food to come out after ordering. I was starving, but the portions were small, so... Still, the cold noodles and dogani soup here seem to be steamed.

Das Bulgogi (Rindfleisch auf dem Tischgrill) war ausgesprochen lecker. Im Vergleich mit anderen Koreanischen Restaurants war das definitiv Spitzenklasse. Die Bedienung war nett und hat regelmäßig nach unserem Tischgrill geschaut. Preislich geringfügig teurer als die günstigsten koreanischen Restaurants in Berlin - es hat sich aber gelohnt und ich werde wiederkommen. Danke an das nette Team.

Sehr gutes Essen, total authentisch.

Wir hatten das So Bulgogi (15€ pro Person), das Fleisch war super saftig und gut gewürzt. Der Kimchi Pancake war auch super, nur leider etwas teuer (12,50€). Banchans gab es reichlich und waren auch sehr lecker. Immer gerne wieder ◡̈

I have been multiple times here, for me this is best authentic korean food restaurant in Berlin so far !

The food here was straight forward good food with no frills. Sam Gyup Sal (pork belly) was the highlight for me. The rest was pretty good too except the bulgogi was a tad too salty. The banchan was very tasty. The only downside was that you have to pay extra to get more banchan. The restaurant is usually busy so calling ahead to make a reservation is highly recommended. The staff came to our table so many times trying to clear our plates while we were still eating. I understand that they want to seat as many people as possible so I felt very pressured to leave and couldn’t enjoy the food and drinks. Overall, I’d still visit Seoul-Kwan again - mostly for the food and not the vibe.

곱창전골 맛있다는 말 듣고 갔는데 진짜 맛있었어요. 밑반찬도 푸짐하고 김치 맛도 괜찮구요. 내부도 크고 깔끔해서 맘에 드는 한식당. 다음엔 냉면 먹으러 갈거에요!

I came here to celebrate my birthday with a friend. Since it was a weekend, the place was quite busy, and we hadn't thought to make a reservation. Luckily, they were able to find us a seat. The sides they served were delicious (especially the kimchi!). Their portion sizes are quite generous; I found it challenging to finish everything, despite arriving hungry. I also ordered their Yuja Cha (Zitronen Honig Tee), which came in a large glass mug, perfect for the chilly night. Overall, my experience here was great, and the food was delicious! I'll definitely return, but next time, I'll be sure to book a reservation in advance.

너무 맛있어서 사진찍는걸 잊을만큼 맛있었습니다. 굴보쌈이랑 순두부 찌개 먹었습니다. 정말 맛있고, 베를린에선 제일 맛있는 한국식당인거같습니다. 반찬의 퀄리티는 그 어떤 식당보다 뛰어났습니다. 한국의 맛이 생각난다면 무조건 입니다. 사장님도 너무 친절하시고 위생도 너무 깔끔하고 맛까지. 👍🏼

The true Korean BBQ experience in a cozy and unassuming place. Service is great and very fast. Food is very very good, all plates based on duck is quite a classic here. You can't go wrong and it's always nice to be back.

We were really looking forward to this restaurant. However, a disappointing experience. The mussels are not fresh, so we couldn't even finish the dish. (Mussels with kimchi and boiled pork belly). Worse, we had a seafood pancake that we waited for 40 minutes after ordering. We informed the staff twice, and a lady came up to us and said, "Are you guys sure you didn't eat the pancake? " which is ridiculous, made us really shocked and uncomfortable! The whole restaurant has no ventilation, our clothes smell after the visit. Unlike most other Korean restaurants, the side dishes here are not refillable. One person who orders one portion of food is served one set of side dish while four people who order four portions of food are also served a set of side dish which is totally not understandable. There were even 7 of us who ordered a full table only to be told that there would be an extra charge for additional side dishes. In this case, each person can then sit at a single table and just order food separately. 🤷🏻‍♀️ There are many better Korean restaurants in Berlin. From the food to the price to the service.
