CONDESA - Authentic Mexican Taste - Bahnhofplatz 5 in München

Das mit Abstand schlechteste mexikanische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe. Lauwarm und extrem geschmacklos. Außerdem waren die Toiletten außer Betrieb und es gab keine Maistortillas (in einem guten Restaurant würden sie frisch zubereitet). Einfach nur furchtbar.

Sehr lecker. Eine auswahl aus 8 Klassikern der Mexikanischen Küche. Je als Taco, Quesadilla, Salat oder Buritto erhältlich. Das erstellen der Menüs bietet viel abwächslung.

Das Ambiente war angenehm. Der Service war in Ordnung. Aber ehrlich gesagt waren Qualität, Preis und Geschmack des Essens ein Witz. Ich bestellte einen Hühnchen-Taco und bat extra um die schärfste Variante (Stufe 5), habe aber überhaupt nichts gespürt. Der Teig schmeckte wie aus dem Supermarkt, und die Portion war für den Preis viel zu klein.

Sehr gutes Essen, schnell serviert. Die Außenterrasse war ein Pluspunkt. Empfehlenswert.

Für das Geld war der Burrito viel zu klein.

Köstlich! Ich habe einen Taco mit beiden Hühnchenvarianten bestellt und sie waren superlecker! Die Tortillas waren perfekt und das Hühnchenfleisch war hervorragend gewürzt. Ich hätte eigentlich den Burrito bestellen sollen, denn er sah mit Reis, Guacamole und Bohnenmus einfach fantastisch aus 😋 10/10

Mega leckere Tacos und super freundliches Personal!

Ich gehe fast immer hin, wenn ich in München bin, weil es das einzige Lokal ist, dass authentisch mexikanische Tacos hat, so wie ich sie aus CDMX kenne (sogar al pastor). Wer ein klassisches Restaurant oder riesige Tacos erwartet ist hier falsch, man bekommt die typischen, kleineren im passenden Ambiente und kann dann gleich mehrere Tacos probieren. Auch die Getränke (Horchada, Tequila etc) sind sehr gut.

Die Qualität hängt davon ab, wer sie zubereitet. Wenn die Quesadilla nicht durchgebraten ist, findet man am nächsten Tag lange Haare in der Guacamole. Außerdem könnte der Service etwas freundlicher sein.

Tacos haben uns sehr geschmeckt, die Mitarbeiter sind umgänglich :)

Quesedilla ist eine Tortilla mit 50 g Hühnchen und 2 Scheiben Schmelzkäse. Fader Geschmack, habe mehr erwartet für das Geld - das Produkt dürfte in der Form maximal die Hälfte kosten.

Essen: 8/10. Der Geschmack ist authentisch, aber leider ist das Lokal nicht sauber. Ein großer, bärtiger Mann (anscheinend der Vorgesetzte für neue Mitarbeiter) behandelte seine neuen Angestellten wie Soldaten! Er war sehr unhöflich zu ihnen. Ich hörte auch, wie er seinen Mitarbeitern sagte, sie sollten ständig putzen, und einer von ihnen sagte zu seinem Kollegen, der schon mehrere Stunden gestanden hatte (anscheinend gibt es keine Stühle für die Angestellten), er solle sich ein paar Minuten Zeit nehmen, wenn weniger los sei. Der Umgang dieses Mannes mit seinen jetzigen und zukünftigen Mitarbeitern ist extrem respektlos!

Dieser Ort wird etwas überbewertet. Das Essen ist gut.

Habe drei verschiedene Hühnchen-Tacos bestellt, Schärfe bis 2 bis 4. 2 und 3 nicht wahrnehmbar, 4 war ok. Aber richtig scharf? Naja. Ausbaufähig. Ebenso die Fleischkomponente. Bei allen 3 Tacos viel zu trocken. Das kenne ich anders und deutlich saftiger von besseren Läden. Hatte mich vorab sehr auf den Laden gefreut, aber der Geschmack war leider etwas enttäuschend.

Ich habe schon oft von diesem Lokal gehört, wenn ich mit Leuten über mexikanisches Essen gesprochen habe, also beschloss ich endlich, es auszuprobieren. Ich hatte erwartet, dass es sehr voll sein würde, aber dem war nicht so. Ich bestellte einen Burrito Tinga. Er schmeckte nicht schlecht, aber nach dem ersten Bissen war ich enttäuscht. Er entsprach einfach nicht meinen Erwartungen, und die Vorfreude aufs Essen war verflogen. Ich aß ihn nur auf, um nicht wieder Hunger zu bekommen. Nach so vielen Empfehlungen waren meine Erwartungen wohl zu hoch, aber ich würde das Lokal nicht weiterempfehlen. Das Personal war nett und freundlich, und die Atmosphäre ist sehr ungezwungen, mit nur wenigen Sitzplätzen – eher ein Imbiss als ein richtiges Restaurant.

Die Burritos 🌯 sind der Hammer! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und transparent. Einfach ein ganz toller Laden! Ich war heute dort und komme seit Jahren gerne wieder.

Authentisches mexikanisches Essen. Sie können den gewünschten Schärfegrad auf einer Skala von 0 bis 4 wählen. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, darunter Rind, Schwein und Hähnchen.

An absolute recommendation if you're looking for an authentic Mexican snack bar. There's a counter where you order and a few standing tables on the ground floor. There's additional seating in the basement. You pick up your food at the counter.

The burritos are simply the best I found so far in Munich. People are very nice, you order, you get your buzzer you pick up your order. Absolutely no complaints about the service. If you wanna be served at your table, then it's probably not the place for you, but you'd miss out on great food. Always worth a visit! And if I'm hungry near Munich Central Station this is where I choose to go in 8-9 out of 10 times.

So glad I didn’t listen to the bad reviews! If you’re Mexican or have visited Mexico, this will feel like a small taste of home. From the tortillas to the colorful plastic plates, it’s everything you want in a Mexican place that specializes in street tacos. I tried the Carnitas and Tinga tacos and loved both. My husband got a burrito with tinga and said it’s the biggest and best burrito he’s ever eaten. I also got a side of rice and beans. The rice had great flavor but I wasn’t a big fan of the beans. I can’t exactly pinpoint what it was about them, but they didn’t taste as fresh/homemade as I was hoping. The horchata wasn’t as flavorful as I was expecting, I prefer more cinnamon personally but it wasn’t bad at all. The staff spoke Spanish and English and were kind. Would definitely return if I end up in Munich again!

Unfortunately, the burritos aren't as delicious as they used to be. I'm not sure exactly why, but they're just not as seasoned. The kitchen behind the counter was quite dirty during my visit, and dirty plates were piled high.

After living in Mexico for several years, I've been looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant for a long time, and I've found it in Condesa. The staff are Mexican, and they offer real Mexican salsas and even horchata. Compared to other Mexican restaurants, they have proper corn tortillas. The ambiance and plates, etc., may seem a bit simple, but anyone who has been to Mexico knows that it's exactly the same there. There, too, people eat from plastic plates and with their hands. All in all, a great experience; it felt like I was back in Mexico for a short time. 🇲🇽 Viva Mexico! The taste is very close to Mexican tacos.

Had tacos 🌮 (vegetarian) which were really good, my colleague had quesadillas which were also great, short wait despite lunchtime (12.45pm), service very friendly and super helpful.

This place is quite nice for a quick bite on your way to/from the station. The area is not super nice but it’s well connected. The service was good, the food came out promptly (although it was pretty empty when I visited). The food was okay, decent flavours and portions and when it comes to Mexican food, this is among the best you’ll get in the area. Don’t expect cheap food as this is Munich we’re talking about, but at least the portions and balance of toppings were decent. I’d go back for a taco there for sure if I’m in town

The burritos were great, although unfortunately not suitable for my vegan friends (only vegetarian option). Their Horchata drink with cinnamon is also very yummy, very refreshing!

I felt the guy at the register wasn't very friendly. I don't know if it was because he didn't understand what I asked. The two guys who prepare the food were very kind. I didn't get table service; I ordered and picked up. The carnitas taco was good, the tortilla broke very quickly. I didn't like the pastor quesadilla as much. The pastor had a strange texture, I don't know if it was skin, cartilage, or something. The lemon water was okay, but I liked the horchata better. I tried the green sauce 3 and 4, and it tasted the same (I could be wrong, and they gave me the same sauce; they looked the same). I ordered chilaquiles, they sell out quickly, and it's only early when they're served. The price is a bit high. The bathroom is for customers only and was very dirty. Toilet paper was scattered all over the floor, the toilet was splattered and stained, and there was no toilet paper. I'll come back to try another dish.

THE BEANS. I love the refried bean burrito bowl. If I only lived in Germany I'd be here 3x/wk.

Every day the service and quality worsens, if an order is placed without certain ingredients it is important to be careful not to add them, because there are people who have allergies and this can be fatal. If they make a mistake, then place the order again, it is a lack of respect for the customer and what one pays.

I had a carnitas and pastor taco and it was actually pretty good, they give you options of how spicy you want it from 1 to 5. I ordered it to go since my hotel was a 5 minute walk away and when I ate it it was cold and that was probably He deducted points.

No matter what language you speak (German/english/Spanish), the staff is unfriendly, especially the woman attending at the cashier. The toilet is not wheelchair accessible and you need a code to enter which is not given unless you ask for it. The ambiance of the place makes it feel like a low budget restaurant, not even my local kebab shop feels this dirty which is a shame since the food tastes alright. They get a star for the fast service. Note: if you’re vegan, don’t waste your time by entering.

I grew up in south Mexico (Veracruz); and came on vacations to Europe/Munich. my partner and I deeply enjoyed the tacos al pastor and the carnitas. the sauce it came with was really good! Unfortunately we arrived too early for any of the cocktails (we were told they are served after 5pm). The place felt clean, chill and with plenty of sitting on a Friday at 2pm. The service was great! Nice, friendly shop, I quickly got something to take with me for the train ride, a vegan borrito. Tasty but the BBQ taste bothers me a bit, but I'm white and have no idea about Mexican 😅 It would be nice if there was vegan grated cheese with it, then it would be pretty perfect 😊

I regularly order my burrito to take away and I'm actually a fan of the place. Prices have of course also risen there recently due to inflation. However, I also have the feeling that the portions become even smaller depending on the employee. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is no longer right.

The food was OK, but nothing special and the portions were relatively small for the price. Much more serious, however, was the abysmal service - there were four employees behind the counter who were deep in private conversations with each other, and we were the only customers at the time of ordering. When we asked a question after some thought, the female employee rolled her eyes and seemed very annoyed, like how dare we as customers disturb the employees' private conversations and then just gave an annoyed answer. Only one of the male employees at the checkout was a little friendlier and communicated normally. I lived in Mexico for a while, I also speak Spanish and know Mexican food - but it was anything but friendly service (as you'd expect from the actually very friendly Mexicans). In any case, I definitely won't come back again - with such poor service, which despite having few guests, is annoying when guests come who actually want to buy something and don't let the employees conduct private conversations in peace... And also the quality of it The food isn't so great that it would be worth coming here.

I had the chihuahua burrito and horchata and they were both fantastic. The staff was friendly and the place was spotless. Food was prepared within 2 minutes of ordering. I would definitely eat here again.

After a long time, I finally found this Mexican food establishment, which does taste like Mexican food. It cannot be compared to carnitas or quesadillas from Mexico for obvious reasons but it is the closest thing.

The location at the train station is a bit special. Nevertheless, the hectic hustle and bustle between the bus stop, taxi traffic and the constant stream of people simply conveys a big city atmosphere. Condesa also has by far the best Mexican food in Munich. Simply damn tasty, coolly presented, with an individually selectable level of spiciness and delicious homemade lemonade. Bite into it, close your eyes and you're on the beach promenade somewhere in Mexico

Delicious burritos, delicious tacos, outstanding quesadilla! Hearty seasoning (you can choose the level of spiciness from 1 to 5). You can see the different ingredients above the counter. First you choose the type of dish - taco, quesadilla, burrito. Then comes the type of meat, followed by other ingredients, sauces and extras. This is how you put together your dream dish. The restaurant is very small - there are a few seats inside and sometimes outside. The small room in the basement with additional tables is particularly cute! By the way, there is also a toilet down there.

Burrito was specially ordered without guacomole but was delivered and it didn't really taste good either.

In the last month I have gone to eat twice and both times I have had diarrhea. There is something contaminated or not cleaned well. Very badly.

My Mexican colleagues recommended this place, saying it had the most authentic tacos in Munich, and the tacos did not disappoint! My companion also enjoyed his burrito. I will definitely come back to this place!

The taste is delicious but the tacos are way too expensive! €4.40 for ONE taco? Are you serious? You would pay €9.60 for a burrito and then be full. But if I ate two tacos for €8.80 I wouldn't be nearly full. I won't be back if the prices for the tacos don't go down!

Very good food, the burrito was really good. The margaritas are amazing! We come here regularly and are always thrilled. The ambience is not perfect due to the large street next to the main station, but the restaurant is central and easily accessible. Clear recommendation 😊

Very disappointing. I was on my period and unfortunately wasn't allowed to use the bathroom because "it's only for customers" and I was told to use the train station toilet instead, I would have even become a customer afterwards. Not like that anymore. Never again.
