The service was very warm and welcoming, the food tasted good, the portions were generous, and I was very full.

Pleasant atmosphere, the Berger was also good, it could taste even better with stronger chilies.

I had a really lovely evening at Amigos. Not the same old frozen food you get at so many Tex-Mex chains, but authentic Mexican food. Who knows a Mexican restaurant that makes its own nachos? I do, Amigos does!

Beautifully decorated and perfectly suited to the vibe. I went there for New Year's Eve with my mother; the food was perfect and the portions were very generous. Excellent value for money. The service was incredibly friendly and always available when needed, and they even offered complimentary tequila 👍🏻. Highly recommended and definitely worth a second visit.

I ate here today with my fiancé. The wait for the appetizer was quite short, and everything tasted really delicious. Then we waited about 45 minutes for the main course. It was a very large portion, so the price was quite fair. However, there were two hairs in my dish: one beard hair and one head hair. We asked the staff for a refund, but instead, we received a free dessert, which was also very large and tasted delicious until we discovered another hair in it. At that point, we lost our appetite and couldn't finish the main course or dessert because I was so disgusted by the hairs in my food. I definitely can't recommend this place. The staff were very friendly, but the server tried to pass off the hair as a piece of cinnamon, which I found very odd.

It was good, but unfortunately you can't go anywhere afterwards because you stink like a chip shop.

I can highly recommend Amigos; everything from the ambiance to the food and portion sizes is SUPERB. The service was also excellent!

Hello, yesterday, December 10th, my girlfriend and I wanted to try this restaurant. The place is very well decorated, but it completely lacks the friendly atmosphere its name suggests. The staff was completely unfriendly and showed zero consideration for the customers. I do not recommend this place.

The burger tasted fantastic. The bread was lightly toasted and everything was so juicy. My sister had the chicken and banana burrito, which is quite an unusual combination with the sweetness of the banana... but it's something completely new. Both dishes, even the fries, were nicely seasoned. We'll definitely be back!

The ambiance is fantastic; they've put a lot of effort into the decor, and it doesn't stop at the entrance. The restrooms are small but perfectly formed, something many restaurants unfortunately neglect. They're clean, and there's even disinfectant for the toilet seats and nice-smelling soap (yes, sadly, not a given in many restaurants...). The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and I was particularly impressed with the beef! They certainly don't skimp on the quality of the meat! The rice was a bit mediocre for me, but that's simply because I'm very picky about rice after a long experience eating at a Chinese restaurant, so I didn't deduct a star for that. It wasn't a big deal, though; the burrito was big enough to fill me up and even more delicious. All in all, go and eat there; the chairs are comfortable, too.

We had reserved a table for two for 6 pm, but arrived an hour and a half early, which wasn't a problem at all. We got a lovely table. The service was excellent, and we had a delicious appetizer (nachos and chili con carne). We wanted to wait a bit before ordering our main course, which the friendly staff suggested. The main course was fajita, a build-your-own-to-order dish. It was fantastic. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

I’m a big fan of their Margaritas! honestly, I should’ve ordered the 1liter instead of just two glasses because they were that good LOL! The tequila hit just right too 🍹 It’s been a while since I had Mexican food, so I can’t compare much, but everything came out fresh and quick, less than 30 minutes! Great vibes, colorful interior, and super cozy atmosphere. Definitely coming back for more drinks! 💃🌮

We went for dinner spontaneously around 5:30 pm on a weekday. The atmosphere was cozy, and we got a nice corner table for two. We ordered the Snack Platter for two and the Chicken Fajitas — both were delicious and more than enough food for us. The prices were reasonable, and the staff were friendly; they even brought us extra guacamole when we asked. All in all, a top-notch place for a relaxed and tasty dinner!

The restaurant is busy. The drinks and appetizers came relatively quickly. We also had alcohol with them. We had actually ordered a main course, but we continued to drink alcohol and order more drinks until the food arrived. It took almost an hour before someone came and asked if they could bring the food a bit more slowly. After that, it was prepared. We never said we wanted to wait. I guess it was forgotten. The food was delicious, but after more than an hour and all the alcohol, no one was hungry anymore, and half of it went in the trash. But otherwise, the food was delicious, and the service was very friendly.

I think it's a disgrace that in a residential area with a shortage of parking spaces, you're permanently occupying one of them with your advertising vehicle!

At "Amigos," you'll find Mexico as far as the eye can see! This small shop is inconspicuously located on the side of the road on Dachauer Straße, but where there are only a few unobtrusive seats outside, the interior hides a beautiful Mexican-style interior. The first glance is impressive across the board – as is the delicious food. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and thanks to happy hour, we even got discounted and delicious cocktails. The only mistake was with our order: instead of shrimp and chicken fajitas, we only received shrimp fajitas. All in all, a highly recommended little restaurant that I would visit again anytime!

My friend and I need to eat tacos every week. We're not Mexican, we're from Guatemala (but we haven't forgotten the annexation to Mexico, nor Don Luis's taco carts in Guadalajara). You can imagine that being Latino, you struggle a bit with food here in Munich. We normally go to Condesa or Cometa (although the best ones are El Tato's), but this time we ventured out in search of new places. The look didn't give me a bad feeling, but it was obvious they tried really hard to offer all the Mexican things they could find (with burrito-style tablecloths, sombreros everywhere, etc.). Then I tried to order in Spanish, and since they didn't speak Spanish, I was a little afraid. When I saw the menu, I felt reassured because they had some tacos, which was all I needed in life. Oh... but, surprise, it turns out the tacos were rollitos... At first, I thought they were like the tacos we eat in Guatemala: a rolled, fried corn tortilla filled with stuff, but no. The "taquitos" turned out to be flour tortilla wraps filled with chicken breast and fried. Which makes me think no one here has ever seen a taco in their life. The portion of tortillas (which we thought were corn tortillas) turned out to be nachos (or tortilla chips) accompanied by a red salsa like the kind that comes in a jar. The portion of nachos turned out to be nachos too. Accompanied with guacamole. The guacamole was guacamole. The churros were good, and the playlist was pure authentic Mexican music. In the end, if you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for Tex-Mex with large portions, this is the place for you.

We went to Amigos today because my sister really wanted to try Mexican food again. After seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews, our expectations were accordingly high. But everything tasted excellent, and the service was very warm and extremely friendly. We felt like we were being invited to dinner with a Mexican family. I would recommend Amigos to everyone. And we'll definitely be back because there are still a few things on the menu we want to try!

Great food, tasted really good! The atmosphere feels like a little piece of Mexico: colorful, warm, and lively. The waitress, the "owner's son," does his job with so much heart and dedication that you can tell he really lives it. He'll make his mark, I'm sure of it.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The food was so authentic and flavourful and portions were so big! I got the chicken burrito and my fiance for the enchilada and both were 10/10. The frozen strawberry margaritas were dangerously good and the amazing staff even gave us a shot of homemade cinnamon tequila after our meals. Overall such an amazing vibe, couldn’t fault it in any way 🌯🫔🍹 and bonus points for the cute dog that was so friendly

In itself a great place, I also think the music is very, very good. What was particularly noticeable last time was that the spritzers unfortunately tasted more like water. You had to ask several times to improve this. They also ask for side dishes that contain various seasonings that you can be allergic to and no alternatives for them. You then had to pay extra for the alternative. Nevertheless, the food tastes very good and is satisfactory in terms of price.

Very friendly service. It's difficult to find a good Mexican. Unfortunately this isn't it either. The food is not authentic and tastes bland. The tapas starter variation was various fried and tasteless vegetables soaked in fat. The guacamole wasn't anything special either. I was missing the coriander and limes. Unfortunately disappointed.

A very atmospheric place. From the moment we entered, we felt the fantastic Mexican atmosphere. The place is quite small. Very nice service. The food itself is not impressive. If someone likes to eat well and tasty, this is not the place. We expected something more Mexican (spicy and intense in flavor) and what we got disappointed us. They are large and filling portions of food, but the food is quite bland and lacking in flavor. Their home-made, great tequila is worthy of attention and recommendation. To sum up, it's worth visiting just for the atmosphere, but because of the food we won't go back there again.

Sí, estamos en Alemania, pero a veces tuvimos que probar algunas cocinas diferentes, y este fue el mejor restaurante mexicano que visitamos durante nuestro tiempo allí. Probablemente es más una cocina de estilo Tex - Mex / americano, pero lo disfrutamos y sentimos que estaba bien hecho. Los nachos y fajitas sabían genial, y también disfrutamos del chile con carne. Definitivamente me alegro de que cenamos aquí una noche cuando estábamos en Munich.

I don't think there is any Mexican restaurant that I like more than Amigos. However, reservations are necessary. For me personally in the top 5 of my personal favorite restaurants. I've been there several times and I'll definitely come back.

I had to let some time pass between our visit but now I have to write my opinion. We had a company party there and apart from the fact that the owners are completely confused, I unfortunately can't say anything about the food because I didn't get anything. It was reserved for 25-30 people. Unfortunately, he had only allocated seats for 20 people and even that was tight. When asked where we should sit, only 2 chairs were squeezed in. A pleasant meal would not have been possible there. After some back and forth, we decided (2) to go, to which we replied that there were two places in between. Since I didn't want to eat in a small space, I was told to wait and he would make us something to take away. Sorry...you notice "company party". The 2 of us left and the rest stayed. There were 4 guests standing in front of the door who had reserved, but their reservation was simply canceled without prior notice. Something like that doesn't work at all. The rest of the group had to wait 2 hours for their food, which they had pre-ordered days ago. The taste was supposed to be good, but we couldn't judge that. Dear Mr. Owner, we will not redeem the voucher that you gave to our colleagues for us because we will never enter your restaurant again. Thanks for the spoiled evening with colleagues!

Leider konnte bekam ich nichts zum Essen, da der Betreiber völlig Planlos und unorganisiert war. Die Platzreservierung über 25 Personen, wurde vor mehreren Monaten durchgeführt. Die Speisen wurden im Voraus bestellt. Es gab aber nur Platz für 20 Personen und mal fühlte sich wie in einer Sardinenbüchse. Auf Anfrage hieß es er stellt 2 Stühle dazu. Das ist leider nicht tragbar da man sich beim essen, nichteinmal bewegen könnte. Auf meine Aussage dass ich mit meinem Mann wieder gehe meinte man, ich solle warten, er macht etwas zum Mitnehmen. So etwas geht gar nicht !!! Ich habe dieses Angebot ausgeschlagen und meine Gruppe mit 20 Leuten alleine gelassen. Vor der Türe trafen wir Gäste die Reserviert hatten jedoch wurde gesagt dass die Reservierung storniert wurde ohne bescheid zu geben. Der Rest unserer Gruppe musste 2 Stunden auf´s Essen warten. Ich persönlich werde diese Lokal nie mehr aufsuchen. Das Essen und Ambiente scheint gut zu sein, jedoch kam ich ja nicht dazu es auszuprobieren.
