Chupenga Burritos & Bowls in Berlin

Unfortunately, the restaurant is not well-prepared to accommodate people with food allergies. There was no allergy information on the menu, and I only found out that my dish contained garlic when it was already being prepared. As a result, they had to discard my order. Despite this issue, the waiter was extremely attentive and did his best to find an alternative, eventually preparing a special quesadilla for me. Unfortunately, it was mostly just cheese, lacking flavor and balance. While I didn’t particularly enjoy the dish, I truly appreciate the staff’s polite and proactive attitude in trying to resolve the situation. For those without dietary restrictions, the experience might be better, but for people with allergies, it could be challenging.

Chupenga Burritos & Bowls offers an excellent dining experience, featuring tasty burritos with delicious toppings like guacamole and jalapeño, along with amazing service from people who care about providing a good experience. The privileged location, overlooking the Berlin Wall monument and its iconic kissing art of the leaders of the Soviet Union and East Germany, takes the visit to a new level, combining a delicious meal with a dive into history.

It is a quiet place, with ample places to stay and eat. The service is good and the food even better. You have several options to choose from, they make your food right in front of you and you choose the ingredients. The girl who helped me was very friendly and clarified several questions about various ingredients. It also has vegan and vegetarian options. If you are visiting the Berlin Wall and you like Mexican food, I highly recommend these burritos.

It's very, very tasty and without question very well made, but the saleswomen only spoke English (it could also be that there were only two of them) and for me personally it's a bit too expensive for the portion.

The overall impression is rather expensive, the food is not particularly good, the toilet is unreasonable and everything seems a bit dirty.

I am visiting the city and I loved this place, especially for the service, the attention of the guy who speaks Spanish was a pleasure, in fact if I return I will repeat in this place because of the familiar treatment.

overpriced for what you get; fast food for restaurant prices: ratios aren’t right; have to pay 1€ extra each for tomatoes or corn? Also guac is 2€ extra? Protein portions are a little too tiny… service is quick, but overall it’s not even close to chipotle. Various veggie options are nice.

Im very often there to get my lunch break food, and besides healthy and affordable, service is on point, specially the shaved guy behind the bar, makes me smile every time !!

This could have been good but my burrito salad was extremely soggy. You need to drain the beans and maybe put the dressing on the side. There was about 4cm of liquid at the bottom of the bowl.

Great fresh Mexican food! Loved the black beans and lentils with chicken, quinoa, rice and veggies. I got here twice. Huge portions so choose takeaway if you can 😅

Had bowls here twice. Once everything was okay - despite language barriers, the wrong ingredients in the bowl (beef instead of veggie chicken) and some of the other main ingredients (e.g. rice) were all wrong?! But overall the taste was okay. All in all it's ok, but nothing great People don't like going to the toilet here.

If you want spicy Mexican cuisine then you should visit this restaurant. For those who want to eat something spicy, it would be a perfect choice. The employees are also extremely friendly and nice.

Everything was gluten free except the chicken and tortillas. The worker changed their gloves when I told them I had an allergy.

Delicious burritos and bowls, not cheap but tasty. It's just a shame that the bowls aren't completely filled, which makes you feel like you didn't get a whole portion because you may have said no to an ingredient.

Berlin’s version of Chipotle, and I’m not mad. Overall love the concept, you get to customize your meal and select from a variety of options. I had a veggie bowl with quinoa, lentils, half & half sweet potatoes/bell peppers, onions, pico, sour cream, and could say no to the €2.50 extra guacamole. During my visit everything was fresh and tasty. Be ready for big portion sizes.

The delivery came 25 minutes late and Obviously, after cancel it, the deliver didnt give me my order. Absolute mess of business, I will never order anymore.

They increased their prices drastically From 9€, 2 years ago to 12€ now. And from 10€ to 12€. The portions has been reduced as well :/

Less for more. I have been eating at chupenga for quite few years and I noticed that their portions became way smaller and now the prices are increased again. Chicken starts at 12€ and beef at 13€. And guacamole is 2€ on top of it. Too much as for the lunch option. I don't go there anymore. Good bye.

Rarely have I been so disappointed. Of course you're asked what you want to eat, but the ingredients are carelessly packed into the bowl. Not to mention the taste. Looked like I had eaten it before. Cutlery is not available in the location and if it is, it is rusty or dirty. The whole restaurant seems careless and dingy. Allow the inedible food to go back after 3 bites. The owner said: Typically German! And didn't want to refund the price if we didn't put the bowls that had already been brought to him in the return cart. All I can say is: Never again!!!

Excellent meal, we opted for the bowl which was delicious. Cozy place, we had lunch halfway and they helped us with our 10 month old baby by even offering us a high chair, those who are parents will understand that it is very much appreciated. Really tasty and satisfying… really cool atmosphere too and friendly staffs

Ordered to go. Amazing chips and sauces, love the packaging with separate wraps for the tacos. (Safe to say I killed this.) Personally prefer rice and grilled veggies to my tacos than lentils and lettuce. But this is healthier and I would get it again.

I love the south facing big windows, an opportunity to sit bathed in natural light is so nice compared to so many dull Berlin spots. The staff were really friendly, they walked me through and offered variety and choice amending where needed. Portions were big, healthy though classic ‚german spicy‘…. Where’s the HEAT in this town?? Hot sauce provided worked fine. The decor is simple, clean though missing a little Latin hipshaking energy. Perhaps when the start serving tequila at lunch. :) One of the better places arrived MB Arena. Again, Chupenga offered friendly staff, good food and healthier than burgers, Currywurst and kebab (on every corner & generally with passive-aggressive staff). I went on vacation to Berlin and ate delicious!!! The place is highly recommended. And for a Mexican there it is something pleasant to be able to taste typical food from our country and to be able to feel the pleasure on the palate of our food outside of Mexico!

I got a chicken burrito with beans and rice and it had ZERO flavour, it tasted like nothing! The rice was dry, the beans were dry , chicken was dry . On top of everything the guy making the burrito asked me if I want to tip :)))))
