Dolores Wittenbergplatz in Berlin

Was the biggest Dolores fan, but the prices have been raised considerably and the portions are getting smaller - one of them is okay, but not both? And the food ends up becoming increasingly tasteless, watery, unseasoned beans. Please get better again!

The food is good, but the person who mostly takes your order during the week lunch time is just insanely rude. I do not understand why you need to be so unfriendly every time. Today Dolores celebrated its 20th birthday and food was 50% + an additional drink. No one in the entire restaurant had a drink cause it was not just given to you, you had to asked for it it seemed. We did ask and nothing happened. We asked again when collecting the food and the person responded: Well, you need to ask me! We did ask. I was not surprised by the rudeness as it is always the same.

Small correction, because that's the way it should be and we generally like the store. Our experience was probably due to the one employee and not the store. At the Berlin Marathon there was an employee at the counter and she told us that the dog wasn't a problem and so we could sit comfortably in there and eat :) Thanks for that ______________________________________ Well, we're actually fans of this place because we think the burritos are awesome. We come from Hamburg and this wasn't the first time we took a day trip to Berlin because we wanted THESE burritos. We always take 4-6 pieces so that we can eat some the next day. We were there last week and would have liked to eat our food in the store after the 3 hour drive. I dared to enter the store with my little Mini Yorkshire lady (there is no sign at the entrance saying dogs are not allowed here). We stood in line and the cashier (thin, dyed blonde, about shoulder-length hair) gave us such disgusted and annoyed looks several times that my husband said I should leave the store with the dog and wait outside. You couldn't misinterpret the looks... Several times they went to me first in annoyance, then to the dog in disgust. Eating at the tables outside was not an option. At 11:30 a.m. it was still shady there and therefore quite cool. So we waited for food and ate a burrito at the car... If dogs aren't welcome anywhere (which fortunately you only rarely experience) then that's just the way it is, but you can draw attention to it in a way that you can see it straight away and don't have to feel unwelcome by looking at it (a sticker on the entrance door). would be enough). I'm disappointed with the way it was done. That was a really uncool move that stuck.

Very tasty burrito... you are guided through the order well and the portion is really large and recommended. The restaurant is a bit plain and relatively carelessly furnished...

Worst Mexican Food ever tried, Chips was way too oily and Bowl and dips too were completely Blunt in taste….Salad was also not fresh.

I like Mexican or Central American food in general. During our last stay in Berlin we came across Dolores and gave it a chance. What can I say: It was a good decision. The food is really delicious. I had the Spicey Chicken Burrito. The portion was decent and definitely filling. The staff was very friendly and dealt with my brief initial confusion well. The prices are okay, nothing overpriced. Only the furnishings seemed a bit careless and the chairs weren't quite as comfortable. But that's complaining at a high level.

We visited the Dolores Burrito Restaurant yesterday at 8:37 PM and were told that we would not be served anymore, not even for a “to go” order. This is completely unacceptable! The opening hours are until 9 PM, and they should apply to the guests, not for the staff to decide when it’s convenient for them to stop working. We were looking forward to the food and were left disappointed. A restaurant with fixed hours should not be closing early like this!

Food is okay, price is reasonable, but you would have to go through the Kärcher here. Tables greasy, dirty, garbage on the floor. Apparently there is no one whose job it is to keep the guest room distinguishable from a corner at the Zoo station. Tables wobble, so be careful with the beer, chairs have nicks and splintered edges. And this is clearly not the alternative old-fashioned charm, but rather run-down furniture. I saw it decay myself.

Very tasty and cheap too. Particularly worth mentioning was the friendly and competent advice that helped us order the food, even without garlic (allergy). Gladly again

It used to be really good and I always really enjoyed it there... I've been there to watch it three times now and I'm disappointed every time! The portions are measly, I said something the first time and was insulted... I would like to eat food and not sour cream and habanero sauce... really absolutely cheeky and the uninterested attitude of the employees doesn't really help either! This is the last time you'll see my friends and me if things don't change back to the hot Dolores with good food and a full not half empty plate/box!!

We take Easy Chicken and Wicked beef,(burrito) but there is no chicken and beef on it. It is really shame. Also, some part of burrito is cold and some part of it was hot. I could not eat it. Service was friendly , but our burritos are not not good.Shame.

It's a good place. I've been there many times. It's only unfortunate that it is getting overpriced after inflation. It costs like 10 Euro for a meal used to be a 6-Euro meal just a few years ago. 😔

Very reliable California burritos.

I've been a regular guest here for over 10 years and the food is still very tasty. I highly recommend the Adobo Beef! However, prices have risen significantly in recent years. The tables in the restaurant should be cleaned more often. But I still find it very comfortable there!

This is the real burrito! I lived in the Mission before moving to Berlin. These burritos are as close to California as you can get. And the price is the best of any burrito in Berlin.

The food is simply delicious. There's not much more for me to say. The shop has more of a fast food feel, but whatever. Sometimes it doesn't have to be fancy, sometimes it's all about taste and you can't go wrong here if you're into Mexican food.

This is my third time here and every time the buritos are folded really badly. The entire contents constantly fall out at the bottom & it's a huge mess. For a store that mainly sells buritos, it's just bad.

Exceptionally tasty food at an acceptable price. Food made of good quality products. I think the best dishes are the burrito with tender beef and the questadia with chicken. The place is kept clean and has a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend everyone who visits Berlin and is in the area to drop by this place.

Everything terrible! The guy who took our order was very unpleasant... Also before closing time they told us that they were closing now so we had to leave with the food half eaten since they had just served it to us... Quite a mess disaster

The worst experience we have had in Berlin, bad service, cold burritos and a bowl with 4 nachos. To make matters worse, they tell us that they close in 50 minutes and after 30 minutes they kick us out...

Extremely unfriendly staff. I ordered online and once again didn't receive an email confirmation, which makes it difficult to prove the order. But thanks to PayPal confirmation it works. I've been a customer for years and I'm probably familiar with them by now because I pick them up every day. When I wanted to pick up the food and, as usual, take a quick look at the goods to see whether they were mine, the cashier jumped out with a rather unfriendly tone: "Hey, what's the point? Anyone can come !" So 1. The food is always left on the counter and you can pick it up and it is NEVER checked too much. It was therefore never a problem to take a quick look at the order and it was completed with a nod. 2. My food was on a counter right in the aisle to be picked up. 3!: Why is my food with a printed piece of paper with all my personal information such as: telephone number, full name and PayPal email address, lying open in front of all the customers standing next to it! A clear data breach! If you're trying so hard here and don't want to say "anyone can come there" and take the food, then you should store it behind the counter! But leave all my data open!? Really funny logic! Extremely unprofessional behavior towards customers!

Excellent Mexican restaurant. We ordered natsus and a burrito was really tasty. You can build the dish however you want. recommended. There are also special beers

I been missing home and my favorite "mission burrito" sooo much and this was like a bite of SF. Loved the mural- had me looking at the map like "lived there, lived there, used to work there... Man I hated that job" hehehe loved it 🤍 thanks guys

A descent place to eat Mexican but nothing special. Is more like Mexican fast food, so it is self seevice. The portions are good and the staff friendly.

Although Dolores has been an established thing for years and, in my opinion, makes the tastiest burrito in Germany, the prices are absolutely reasonable. Plus, the burrito is one of the few that actually fills you up. I come here regularly and am satisfied every time!

Solid burritos and good quesadillas.

We ordered 2 different burritos and quesedilla and we didn't like any of them. The appearance and taste of the beef in the rice-filled burritos was very bad. The quesedilla was like soggy dough and so bitter we couldn't eat it. Prices are very expensive for a fast food restaurant. The restaurant staff are polite and friendly, but apart from that, I would not recommend either the environment or the food.

Greta food, it’s the real Calimex flavor, great value and friendly staff. What else is needed for lunch? Totally recommended!

Dolores Berlin is my regular burrito restaurant. Always very tasty. The burritos can be designed by yourself Burrito without meat: €7.40 with meat plus €2.50

Not Mexican at all. Wrong tortillas for the tacos. Need to practice how to roll a burrito. Chicken was good. The burrito tastes like a Taco Bell burrito. Next time will try the bowl instead.

Extremely delicious food, unfortunately not enjoyable due to the thin, flimsy tacos that fall apart before you even touch them.

Top buritto in an attractive atmosphere

Ate here on our first night in Berlin. The portion sizes are huge and the staff speaks fluent English which makes ordering easy. Food came out quick and it was delicious. Order the chips, they are a definite must! Best I’ve ever had! If you need a bite to eat at a reasonable price, come here.

Visiting Berlin from Canada. Better burrito than I ever had in Canada. Giant portion size, great customization, fresh and tasty ingredients. Fun atmosphere. Can’t go wrong if you want to change up the palette during your stay in Berlin.

I'm at the place, we were served by a blonde guy, in a white t-shirt and skinny at the checkout with a TERRIBLE attitude (rude), the music was very loud and we had to eat outside. The food 5/10. Just for the attention I would NOT return.

I have visited this place several times. The burrito is not bad; it's fine. I also ordered a drink, but they refused to provide a straw. They seem to hate straws at this place, which is a bit strange. It's also quite an expensive place. Additionally, it was quite dirty inside. No one cleans the tables. They should hire cleaning workers.

The burrito was quite good, no explosion of flavor, but there were no flaws either. Unfortunately, the homemade lemonade wasn't that good and for the price it could have been more. In keeping with the US setting, I was asked to tip quite a high percentage when paying by card, which I don't think is good. Ambience just so-so. Benevolently, it's enough for me to give it 4 stars.

Such great food!! We had a variety of vegetarian and meat burritos and bowls, and everything was delicious. The Naughty Pork was probably the favorite. Added bonus that the staff was really friendly.

Every time I stumble across your doorstep that absolutely needs to be marked. Food was ok There could have been more meat in the burrito. Homemade ice teas were ok, but somehow tasted like crumbled peach tea Quesadilla was great. The salsa sauces too. The flavor of the sour cream would have to be tweaked a bit with spices

The waitress seemed very bored and was always in a bad mood except when talking. My tacos were okay, but way too expensive. I specifically picked out things without heat and still had chili on my food. Luckily it was easy to remove. All in all, an experience that I wouldn't recommend if there are other Mexicans nearby.

I ordered through Wolt. Food was ok, nothing to complain about. The bowls are fresh and large and fill you up. I would be happy if Wolt also had tacos available to order.

It's always the situation of the sanitary areas! On the one hand it is the upbringing and indifference of the customers and on the other hand the attitude of the staff to see the toilet area as part of the business.

Unfortunately, Dolores is always chaotic and poorly organized. But the food tastes very good. However, there is still a little bit missing when it comes to Mexican.

Fresh and flavorful. We don't live in Berlin, but travel there from Leipzig every few months and make a point of coming here to dine in when it fits, or at a minimum take some burritos to-go. This place fills the burrito-shaped void in my expat heart - so good!

Ok folks, I lived in San Francisco for my almost my entire adult life before moving to Berlin five years ago. I was always nervous about coming here because I was afraid of being disappointed. Other than El Oso at Pfefferberg, a lot of Berlin Mexican is weird off-tasting stuff like mole made from Hershey chocolate sauce. But this was good! I had the "Naughty Pork" burrito with chips and salsa verde. Taste reminded me of El Faro near my old office donwtown. Plus I sat next to a map with my old neighborhood on it (lived at Castro and 14th for 15 years). Prices are rather high in comparison to back home, esp for chips, which Jesus clearly said in the Bible should be free, but food was excellent. (And if you want to go full SF, steam the burrito right before it is served and wrap it in aluminum foil.). But now that I have overcome my fear I will be coming back.

Quite a bit slacker compared to the last time about 2 years ago - unfriendly service - order put together completely wrong - interior didn't seem clean and unkempt

1. Ate here on monday, the wicked burrito and ended up with foodpoisoning. 2. Why are they asking for tips ? -you have to place the order at the cashier, -you have to pickup the order at the cashier area (was not announced when ready at pickup, so sat there for a while) -you have to clean up the table when done. What am i tipping for exactly ? 🥴

The manager has the worst attitude I have ever seen in my live, not smiling neither pleasant at all. When they started to set the store for closing he started to put the chairs on the table in a very violent way and even lot of chairs fell down the table and made noise while clients are still trying to enjoy their meal. Worst Manager ever, It must be a nightmare for the workers to work with this guy.
