So yummy food I definitely recommend. Quick service. Clean and artistically pleasing environment. 10/10. Great tunes and great atmosphere.

The quality of the chicken was terrible and inedible

The chicken bowl I ordered had an excessive amount of chicken skin inside, making the texture unpleasant and leaving me with the feeling of chewing on skin. It was a disappointing experience, and I felt nauseated. When the skin is crispy in some foods, might be good, but in this case it was soft and really bad experience. I couldn't finish the bowl.

It is not exactly cheap but I really like the food, especially the bowls. The staff is very friendly and while some people may find the interior a touch too basic I like it. The terrace outside is also really nice. More as a footnote as it's not a dealbreaker for me but other people here have also mentioned it, I don't like the no cash/cards only payment policy (or rather no option policy haha). And while I'm at it, getting a suggestion for tipping when paying and having to search for the opt out bottom I'm also not a big fan off, especially not in a place where you pick your food up at the counter. But again: I like the place, I like the food, all good!

I’ve been a once or twice per week customer however the last experience was very disappointing. These burritos are not standardized, if you are lucky you get a bigger than normal burrito, however it’s often the other way around. In my case upon noticing a smaller than normal burrito, I complained and they took a weight scale. The cashier mentioned that a normal burrito should be 150gr, mine was 130gr. To compensate they offered to give me 20gr of hot sauce which made me even more pissed of. In the end I asked for a refund/or discount which I received.

I’ve had the veggie burritos here. The food was tasty, portion is huge, good selection of beverages. The service was fast and the outside seating area has nice atmosphere. Payments only with card.

Very popular place for lunch, especially due to the companies in the area. Can be quite a queue. The outside seating is amazing during a sunny day. The food is tasty, the "buffet" kind of thing where you just pick whatever you want. Meaning, no table service. Most of the salads, the staff says, are gluten free and with very little risk of cross contamination (like any other place that also has wheat). Should be safe for a celiac as long as you stick to plate. Burritos are not GF. Meat should also be gluten free, no sauces and stuf .

I've been eating here for several years and it's always been really great. However, for some time now I have noticed that the quality of the individual components is decreasing - especially with the meat, which used to be extremely marinated, and the rice, which now also tastes worse. It's a total shame because the price isn't low and you simply have different expectations. Please increase the quality again!

Tolles Essen, nette Menschen! Einzig die hohen Stufen zur Terrasse sind für Menschen im Rollstuhl nicht optimal. Das trübt ein wenig den Gesamteindruck.

Really great option for this area! I got a pollo burrito and it really did remind me of being at a Chipotle in the US. I do think it is a bit too pricey for what you get and for Berlin - 10,90 is just too much imo. But otherwise great place! I enjoyed the burrito a lot.

Die Speisekarte ist verwirrend. Zum Taco gibt es keinen Reis oder Quinoa. Das Personal scheint nur Englisch zu sprechen. Man wird vom Essen satt. Schnell satt und weg, das ist der Eindruck.

Amazing burritos, very nice staff, quick service, but you can only pay with card. The other way around is understandable, but not accepting cash is very embarassing. I would have otherwise been happy to come back.

Lousy interpretation of tex-mex food, absolutely disgusting service. I went there during lunch time, there was a handwritten note saying "cash only", this conveniently changed to "card only" after rush hour, suspicious at least. I had to repeat my order thrice to one of the staff and then the cashier didn't apply a promotion that I had. On top of everything, it is expensive, stay away from this place.

Lebensmittelvergiftung. Letzte Woche Donnerstag war ich dort Mittag essen. Davor war ich auch schon zwei mal da, da war alles in Ordnung. Leider habe ich mir vom Mittagessen eine Lebensmittelvergiftung zugezogen. Ob es an dem Essen direkt, oder an den Soßen lag die auf dem Tisch stehen, kann ich leider nicht sagen. Eventuell auch Besteck, Tisch etc. Es ging mir viel zu schlecht, um am Freitag einen Arzt aufzusuchen. Dieser hätte den Erreger bestimmen können. Einen Kollegen von mir hat es am Donnerstag auch erwischt. Der hat auch eine Rezension geschrieben. Ich werde dort nicht mehr essen gehen.

Bardzo smaczne jedzenie. Można wybrać pomiędzy burrito, sałatką i kilkoma innymi opcjami. Burrito różni się tym od sałatki, że to co byśmy dostali w sałatce jest zwijane w tortillę. Świeże dodatki i kilka możliwości protein do wyboru (wege i kurczak).

I'm having lunch from time to time here, which means this place is good. I always take burito beef - they cook it really really well, it's tender and without white fat on it. Like in Subway you can configure your meal, if you are not sure - you can ask to put half-half (half lentils, half rice). The juic Maybe a bit pricey, but they put really big portions and quality is good. This juice (compote) also very good They speak English and accept card payment

Food looked delicious. Unfortunately I couldn't taste it because the brown paper bag they gave me got soggy and the two bowls I bought for 27 € were dumped on the sidewalk. Cats and dogs will surely love it so it must be eco-friendly, I guess.

Decent burritos with fast service.

4 stars for food not having enough salt. 1 star for service coz it's self-service. 1 star for atmosphere coz lamps are place too low, or table placed in a way the low lamps are noz centered. Customers hit their heads several times. Also too loud even though not crowded. Noise distracts from enjoying food.

Verschiedenes mexikanisches Fast Food in sehr positivem Sinne, alles frisch zubereitet vor den Augen des Kunden, es gibt diverse Auswahlmöglichkeiten, sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Service. Qualität ist top! Viele Sitzplätze drinnen und draußen, oder natürlich zum Mitnehmen. Leider sind die Öffnungszeiten aufs Mittagessen ausgerichtet, obwohl man auch abends hier gerne die leckeren Speisen essen möchte.

Food is pretty decent and filling, and the interior is quite stylish, especially the open terrace which is perfect in the summer. Great sauces and the unlimited drinks is a welcomed touch too. However it is definitely pricier than it should be, can feel a tad rushed, and one staff member seems a little grumpy whenever we're there...

Leider ein durch und durch enttäuschendes & belangloses Erlebnis. Ich hatte einen Pollo Burrito mit (ohne Reis, war aus), Bohnen, Käse, Chili-Mais & Salat (gehört wohl automatisch dazu). Soweit ich weiß ist das mex. Essen eher würzig & aromatisch. Hiervon ist leider überhaupt nichts zu merken. Der Geschmack war neutral, nichtssagend, harmlos, nicht vorhanden. Im Prinzip nicht viel anders als ein Schluck Leitungswasser. Klar, es stehen ein paar Würzsoßen 'rum, aber etwas Schärfe aus der Flasche ersetzt ja keine vernünftige Würzung während des Kochens. Jeder mittelmäßig Döner, bzw. Dose Heinz Baked Beans, ist im Vergleich hierzu eine kulinarische Offenbarung. Für mex. Essen empfehle ich da eher das Cancun, oder alternativ eine 1‘000er Scoville Currywurst mit Pommes, da hat man dann Geschmack, Aroma, Würze und sogar noch Schärfe.

Pretty shameless Chipotle rip-off, quite fittingly located right next to the Rocket Internet HQ. The food is decent, good if you crave American-style "Mexican" food in Germany. I'll subtract one star for the poor service. As my friend put it, every time you go here it seems like the entire staff had their first day. The person at the register seemed unable to comprehend that one person would pay for several meals, resulting in them double-charging us! Oh, and they have absolutely no clue how to roll a burrito.

Das Essen war so gut - die Portionen für mich sogar schon zu groß. Bei den Tacos hatte man so viel zum Füllen und die Burritos waren auch riesig. Die Lokaleinrichtung war auch sehr nice.

As tourists in Berlin we needed somewhere near Checkpoint Charlie that wasn't ... well, any of the places near to Checkpoint Charlie. The burritos here satisfied by Latin American relatives and for me were tasty and filling. The staff were friendly and understanding. The location is clean and modern. Nothing to complain about at all!

Food: 4. Nice food, could use more choice but still nice. Price: overpriced, really. Maybe because it is in the center. For this price I can eat at other places that are tastier and which would fill my stomach much more. The reason people don't want to go there is mostly price, and then limited choice of what to put in the salad/burrito.

We were out and about exploring with my girlfriend, then we bumped into Chupenga. It's a medium size, modern and clean place to take a quick sit and take a bite of something, as the name states they have burritos, salads, etc. Team is young and friendly, communicate in English as well as German which is always a huge plus for tourists such as myself, also not to forget it was a quick ordeal, food was put together infront of me and I was eating within minutes. When it comes to portion vs price, I'd say it was very satisfactory, on top you can get their fresh handmade "Aguas Frescas" (Non alcoholic drink), in more than one flavour and get free refills automatically. Definitely worth checking out.

This was truly dreadful! Worst tacos I ever had. We order three different kinds as takeaway. Non of them were eatable as the tacos fall apart. The meat is way too salty and overpriced for what it is

What really takes the cake in this Mexican fast food place is the service. The staff is super friendly and international and also incredibly helpful for people who are going through the burrito assembly line for the first time. The chicken is my favourite and they do a great guac and aguas frescas. Will come back as my office lunch favourite!

I am a neighbour, going regulary to chupenga - which we love. particulary our kids. today i went to buy burritos a s special treat for me and one kid. I was shocked how bad i was treated. they made me pay full price for the burrito for my kid with 2 things on it - which i never had to do in the past. and told me that i had to bring my kid to be able to buy a kids portion. i am really disappointed how i was treated. This way does not fit the concept of the business....

As always CHUPENGA is really good!!! Really tasty and so close to Mexican taste in all Berlin.

The best Mexican place I have had in terms of fast lunch in Germany

I was a regular client, but they decided to reduce the sizes and keep the same prices. Now they are a overpriced Mexican restaurant. Not going back

The food was over-salted and slapped on the plate in a cafeteria-like fashion. The portion was generous but perhaps even too lush. I would not necessarily advise anyone to eat here unless you want to eat a lot and relatively cheap. Tables weren’t really clean.

So...if they were to call this place "food in a semi-tortilla flatbread," I think I'd have far less of an issue. It seems they are trying to be Chipotle, but they fall WAAAAAAY short of that mark. There is almost nothing remotely 'Mexican' about the food. The meats have very little flavor. The options are a bit confusing in how they taste, which is just a little bit off what you'd expect if you come from a place where actual Mexican food exists. I still give it 3 stars because you walk away with a good amount of food, and sometimes it is ok to have tortilla-wrapped-food to eat. But burritos? Nah.

F#%&ing tasty. I had the bowl with chicken, rice, black beans, guacamole, sour cream salad and green salsa. 10.50€ P.S. Jalene the tomatoes are the mild salsa which is considered a sauce.

Los burritos no tienen nada de sabor.. ya de perdida deberían ponerle un poco de sal.. además le ponen muy poca salsa verde, lo cual no ayuda a "recuperar" algo de sabor. Los tacos no los he probado, pero como buena mexicana, tan solo de verlos, no se me antojan. No por ponerle lechuga y frijoles, lo hace ser automáticamente un buen taco.. :/

I actually like this place but it left me dissatisfied today. I asked what kind of sauces they had, the guy who served me couldn't answer and/ or couldn't communicate clearly. Afterwards I asked for some sauce, multiple times, the guy added more and more tomatoes and was clearly not getting my request. On top of that the burrito fell apart right after it was made. I am not asking for native Germans to work there, however, the workers def need to know the ingredients that are used in the menu in German + know how to roll a burrito.

The food was cold. Like completely cold. Which is why it was hard to even tell the taste.

surprisingly bad vegan burrito. maybe they should put a bit more effort into the dish. having to choose between veggies and meat is a sad tradeoff and the vegan soy mince is just sad. cmon you can do much better. didnt help that my burrito melted itself and disintegrated in my hands due to too much moisture and bad wrapping/tissue design

Great Tex-Mex food, I had a “Naked Burrito” which was a bit pricy but good sized portion. The service is fast, clean and with all the COVID-19 measures. If you’ve ever been to a Chipotle in USA it’s basically the same thing but with better interior design.

Mein Burrito war sandig und knirschte beim kauen da ließ ich ihn liegen (und bitte, ich vermag Sand von Gewürzen zu unterscheiden). Gewürzt war der Burrito zaghaft bis gar nicht. Mexikanisch kenne ich anders, aber es ist wohl auf den Business Geschmack am Gendarmenmarkt ausgelegt, wenig Dinge, die Flecken auf dem Anzug produzieren könnten und nach dem anschließenden Chia Wasser kann man noch das Meeting besuchen ohne nach Tijuana zu riechen

Ich hab das erste Mal für einen Freiluftkinobesuch hier Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Es hat so lecker geschmeckt, dass ich jetzt jede Gelegenheit nutze einen Abstecher zu machen. Ob zum Mitnehmen, liefern oder vor Ort essen, das klappt alles schnell, reibungslos und freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung.

Richtig lecker. Die Soja Meat schmeckt super! Ich bin froh, einen guten vegetarischen Burrito gefunden zu haben!

Gute Auswahl an frischen Zutaten, auch für Vegetarier und Veganer. Große Portionen. Kein typischer fettiger American Style. Ist halt ein Imbiss und kein Restaurant, daher ist die Inneneinrichtung auch eher spartanisch. Bei gutem Wetter kann man aber auf der großen Terrasse sitzen.

Das Fleisch und die Bohnen sind hier ziemlich lecker, nur schade dass es keine Carnitas/Schweinefleisch mehr gibt und gar keine gemüsesorten außer Kopfsalat. Ein Salat aus nur Fleisch, Bohnen und Kopfsalat ist nicht besonders gesund bzw. Nahrhaft, und für 10eur kein nahrhaftes essen zu bekommen ist wirklich schade.

War sehr lecker, preislich aber schon etwas gehoben für ein "Fast Food" Restaurant.

Gutes Mexikanisches Essen gibt es selten. Das hier ist wirklich gut. Kein Dosenfraß wie bei vielen anderen Mex'is in Berlin. Alles frisch. Aber teuer und zur Mittagszeit laut und überfüllt. 30 Minuten vor Ladenschluss ist dann oft alles schon weggepackt. Wer also zu lange im Office gearbeitet hat und sich hier Abendessen mitnehmen will, kann es leider gleich vergessen.

Die Burritos schmecken nicht gut und sind wie alle Gerichte übertrieben teuer. Die Auswahl von Zutaten ist ziemlich verwirrend, wenn die Kunden in Eile sind. Der Laden ist fast wie eine Kantine für Rocket Mitarbeiter. Die erkannt man, weil sie sehr sehr laut auf Englisch reden, telefonieren und mit Laptops wie in der Bibliothek die Tische besetzen und die für Kollegen reservieren. Der Laden ist hell und laut wie jede Fast Food Kette. Die Tische waren ziemlich dreckig wegen den Menschenmassen und die ganze Atmosphere ist ziemlich ungemütlich. Schade! Ein echter Mexikaner in der Gegend fehlt noch.

Delicious, large & fresh burritos. What's not to like?

Wonderfully fresh, fast, tex-mex-ish food. Similar to Chipotle when it was brand new. The servers were nice but, after offering, forgot to mention the guacamole cost extra. Lol The refillable drinks were Limeade with Chia seed and Agua di Jamaica. Sorry I have no photos to show, too busy chowing down.

Does anyone miss Chipotle? This is a good alternative. Not as tasty and a bit more expensive, but it suffices. The fact that it has barbacoa is enough reason to visit. I also liked the lentil and quinoa options. Keep in mind that it can be extremely crowded during lunchtime.

Geschmacklich war der Burrito sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet, dafür leider total überteuert. Liegt wohl an der Umgebung. Ansonsten war auch das Personal sehr freundlich!

Für die Mittagspause ganz gut. An die Burritos von Dolores kommen die hier nicht dran. Für die schnelle Abwicklung gibt es trotzdem vier Sterne.

Went here for a quick dinner. Fairly basic fast-food style Mexican. I had the burrito bowl which was huge & just what I needed. Burrito my husband had was fine according to him.

Mal was anderes. Bei der Bestellung bisschen wie bei Subway, dass Ergebnis ist aber viel besser.

Great burritos in Berlin. You can craft your own burrito selecting your preferred ingredients. It's not much spicy (compared with Mexico standards) but the flavor is quite good. 100% recommended. Also, price is not bad for being in Berlin city center. Recommended.
