Dolores Mitte in Berlin

Okay food, not very mexican of course, but ok. What is pretty anoying is the terribly loud music and the really bad service. My first order got burned. Food was luke warm. Not returning, for sure.

You have to order at the counter and then have to go pick up your order when it's done (indicated by a number). Which is absolutely fine! However, when paying, you are greeted by a display asking you what percentage tip you wanna give and a small red button that says "no". I simply despise being guilt tripped into tipping, especially when the whole service part is outsourced to the customer. Food was really good.

Nothing special. Personally, I didn't like the flavor of the chicken, and I find the charge for adding cilantro a bit excessive. It's fine for a quick fix, but I don't recommend it as a "must-go" option.

A must when we're in Berlin. We're going there tomorrow, and the first stop will be there for something to eat. I'm looking forward to it.

One of the few things I miss about Texas is a good burrito. Dolores did not disappoint.

Good but the place is too small

Simple dish, nothing special. I had buritto with avocado. Would love to have more veggies inside, more variety. It's a bit loud inside, but there was plenty of space.

Great restaurant for lunch. Highly recommended as a burrito or bowl. It can definitely get crowded at lunchtime. But it definitely speaks for the place. Great taste. Amount sufficient. Priced appropriately.

NO WORDS!! If you are a vegan, vegetarian or a meat eater this place caters to everyone. I had their vegan lover burrito and it’s the best burrito I have had in a long time😍😍Their chipotle mayo is to die for🤤🤤Absolutely delicious!! And for 10 euros you’re getting a burrito the size of your head!! Such a bargain 😆

The burritos were super tasty and considering it was really full at lunchtime, our food was ready quickly. UNFORTUNATELY, the extra request was not immediately implemented on the first attempt.

The service at the checkout was very friendly and nice. The music in the store is relaxed (although it could perhaps be a little quieter). The burrito I ordered was delicious. Definitely recommended!

The best thing about this place is the flavor, they just get it right. Being from California, I grew up with CA-Mex food, and in Europe the Mexican eateries rarely live up to good flavors. Here you can build your item meal, wrapped or in a bowl. It can get crowded, and seating as well, in a rather fast food type environment. The staff are nice and helpful, and orders are made quickly. I definitely recommend stopping by.

I came here twice in my three days in berlin! I made my own burrito and bowl. From California, this is super yummy! Was nice to sit alone or with other travelers/locals. Does get busy but worth the wait!

I like to go to Dolores on Wittenbergplatz, but the shop in Mitte is too small, always loud and crowded and, above all, the tables are always dirty.

With a clear conscience, I recommend Dolores in Mitte. The food is freshly prepared, the selection is large - you can pretty much decide the composition yourself. When you enter the store, you usually stand in line because it is busy. I was there recently and you could only pay by card. The ambience is functional, I would describe it as a snack bar that doesn't invite you to linger for a long time. If you want delicious food without any frills, this is the place for you.

The price goes up, unfortunately the content of the burritos decreases. But they taste good

Unfortunately, the tacos are super thin and fall apart with so many toppings, so you have to eat them with a knife and fork. Plus they were cold overall. The burrito was also lukewarm to cold, the tortilla was obviously not warmed up again. At that price I expect more

Absolute disappointment! The burrito was tasteless, the ingredients seemed old and the meat was tough. The portion was tiny for the price – a disgrace! The staff seemed bored and unfriendly, and the wait was far too long even though there were hardly any guests there. I absolutely cannot recommend this store and will definitely not be coming back!

The food was really delicious. The service is rather mediocre. The cleanliness was really lacking. Tables are stuck and the toilets are one of the most disgusting things ever. All in all, rather lower middle.

Always super tasty and the prices are more than reasonable. You get very, very full! The Choriz Soy in particular is highly recommended. It can get noisy when it's full, but I never had to wait long for my food

The food is relatively tasty. The beef in our burrito tasted like shredded goulash, but was still relatively tasty. The food is good. The price was okay, but the hygiene was not good at all. The tables are partially glued and there was a lot of leftover food under our table. We probably only mop once a day here. The toilet floor was also completely soaked and paper towels were lying everywhere. It is therefore ironic that the company asks customers to disinfect their hands using the disinfectant dispenser in the entrance. I'll probably order it next time.

To be honest it was the biggest burrito i ever had in my life. Really cool place with friendly staff. They ve got their own beer very recommended. So if you re very hungry this is your place!!!

The food was good, just a bit bland. But the toilets are filthy and full of graffiti.

The taste of the food is as original as in Mexico. In fact, we think these tacos were better than the ones in Tulum. Accordingly, the store was very full and visually not an eye-catcher. Nevertheless, from today on our only point of contact for authentic Mexican food.

Ordered a bowl for take away, it was already very cold, the aesthetic was not too good and I didn't like the nachos.

Food: 5 stars for fast food Deduction because cash payment is not possible, and the atmosphere is not too nice. Staff doesn't speak German. Toilets take some getting used to, they're certainly supposed to look cool in terms of the scene, but they come across as a bit dingy. No paper towels. Often very crowded.

Well, I live nearby and have been here several times. The food is delicious, but the service I just had at the checkout cannot be surpassed in terms of impudence. Today I ordered a new dish that I can't pronounce. The rude service person asked me something, I then said, the things that look like three corners. He told me what they were called, I said, yes, those. I have difficulty hearing in only one ear and have great difficulty pronouncing things in foreign languages. I say, yes those. When I was paying, he wanted to know what they were called again so he could make fun of how badly I pronounced them. I find this behavior to be deeply discriminatory and extremely inappropriate towards people with a hearing impairment. I hope this will be reflected upon with the staff and will not happen again in the future.

Average food, cheap. A lot of people. Once is enough for me 👍🏻

I had a burrito and the nachos. The burrito was really tasty. You could choose everything you wanted from sauce to type of rice and everything. On average, you pay €10 for a burrito, but it fills you up quite a bit. I would go here again.

Got a quesadilla and a burrito to take away, the chipotle salsa was delicious, portion size good. Not the best there are but they don’t claim that either and it’s definitely good

No recommendation. Much too loud music 🎧, quite crowded 🫤 and at the same time no hygiene after the change of guests at the tables 🫣. During the ordering process, the person at the checkout is helpless and cannot help with questions. 😑 Hardly any choice of drinks other than the usual Coca brands. Food was soggy, too spicy and not particularly tasty. Afterwards we had a stomach ache. 🥴 Unfortunately not great.

I came here with a friend and I really liked it. The service has been good, they have recommended us and they have hit the nail on the head with everything. The house beer is very good. I recommend the spicy chicken burrito. Moira I fell in love with you!! Marry me!!

Exceptionally good burritos, at least for Germany. Unfortunately a bit grubby, but part of the atmosphere :)

Some of the better mexican food that I’ve had in germany. The portions are large and the flavors strong. The spice levels are not as strong as what I’m used to in the US - would get extra spicy next time.

As an American who’s had Californian mexican, it was pretty good! The staff was very nice and efficient!

I used to come here often, but I don't go here anymore. The reason for this is that the employees do not comply with the hygiene regulations. They leave the counter area with their gloves on to take a break. They then come back in with these without having changed them and use them to touch the food and place it in the burritos.

In my personal opinion, the speed of service and quality has declined over the years. Have been here many times for work lunches and dinner, but in the last year in my personal opinion both the service quality declined and the flavour as well.

Dolores has a great offering that smells and tastes like Sol Cal fast food. The vegan offering is very pleasing. Unfortunately, there is not a vegan alternative for everything. Vegan burrito with chori soy was very tasty and so were the nachos. The dips were excellent. The quesadilla was not as expected and not as good as the burrito. The staff is friendly but everything seemed a bit hectic and disorganized. Unfortunately, only card payment is possible, which I think is a shame. What also bothers me is when it is not possible to order in the local language because no one speaks German when placing the order. Despite all my love for multi-culture and appreciation of internationality, I don't like that, even though I don't have a problem with the English language myself. What is also annoying is the uncleanliness to the power of ten. Nobody wipes the tables and with the flow of people you don't want to think about it. The dish return trolley is located directly next to a guest table without a boundary. This looks unsightly, is annoying and certainly not hygienic. The music was somehow inappropriate and not authentic and too loud. All in all, the ambience doesn't do justice to the delicious SoCal food on offer. To go might be okay, there's no other way. Really a shame.

... Mexican fast food, but very tasty... the shop itself is germy, the tables aren't wiped down, really disgusting... the staff who don't speak a word of German don't care at all... Conclusion: you have to don't have it!

Great place, love their food. But wish they could do better with the ratio of their burritos. Their bowls are super nice too. Love this place. However it feels a bit overpriced to have to pay extra for pickled onions, cilantro, and sour cream. While I understand that guac may come at an additional cost, the prices for these other toppings seem somewhat excessive.

I’m from California and was walking by and had to give this place a try. I had a make your own burrito. It was ok, but the tortilla needs to be heated up longer and I tried the spiciest sauce you could get here. The spicy level doesn’t even rate 2/10 back in California. It was still a good burrito though

I have been coming here for a long time, but in last 2 times i noticed the food amount has decreased a lot. Its a pity, that we are not becoming full anymore. Serving plates as bowls, and burritos lost the half of their size :(
