Food was okay, unfortunately there was no salt

I went there with 5 of my coworkers, the food tasted bland but fine, but then a few hours after we all felt sick and apparently we all got food poisoning lol. It was the only meal all of us had shared in the past 72 hours so I’m pretty sure this place was the source. Anyways, never again.

The food is fresh and you can try it occasionally for a change. The price is pretty good for this area.

I had a burrito bowl with beef for 14,90€. It was a pretty big portion with a generous amount of juicy beef, fresh salad, etc. The bowl is a good choice for people with gluten intolerance.

The food is really good, everybody can pick something. They have vegan chicken, you can pick salsas, add guacamole. But it’s a bit pricey.

We received a food delivery for lunch at our seminar and everything was tasty, fresh and healthy! Service throughout the process (ordering, mail communication, delivery and setup), was professional and uncomplicated. Thank you Chupenga team.

Great burritos made right in front of you!

Something healthy for lunch. Always full, unfortunately the shop is a bit sterile. With only card pay you might be way ahead and the owner won't be robbed, but I find the forced tip at the Berlin Mitte prices a bit cheeky. Why tip if not a word is exchanged between employee and customer?

First time in Berlin was looking for fresh healthy food and I found it! Chupenga has an amazing selection of salads, sauces, lentils, rice, quinoa to choose from. You then build your own bowl, wrap or can have it naked on its own. Food tasted so fresh and lemonade and hibiscus cold tea had unlimited refills. Also nice atmosphere with top chart hits playing. Highly recommend!

This is a self-service restaurant. There are step-by-step instructions on the tables on how to order at the counter. At the counter they try to explain in broken English that these instructions are completely useless. Apparently it's only for professionals. Our food was ok, but nothing more. The ambience doesn't particularly stand out from other fast food restaurants. The door was open the entire time and the outside temperature was 0°C, so it was correspondingly cold. You should avoid the “sanitary facilities” if possible.

Really good food, with big portions. A real good way to spend you lunch. Price was OK. Ambiente could be better, but it was alright. Service was kind, but tbh the bare minimum. Maybe they were tired. Over all, would go there again!

It's more of a fast food restaurant than a Latin American restaurant. The food was ready quickly. We had the tacos. They were very tasty and there was a large selection of fillings. However, you get them separately and then have to put them together yourself. Tacos are also gluten-free and are prepared separately if you explicitly say beforehand that you need them gluten-free.

I've loved going to Chupenga for a long time and actually find the food there very tasty. Unfortunately they probably changed the recipe for the soy meat. Otherwise always super tasty mince with a good, slightly spicy seasoning. Today I had something completely different in my burrito. Larger pieces with a chewy, slightly rubbery consistency with no flavor. Absolutely no one. Of course there is no money back or at least a discount/coupon. 10 euros thrown out the window. Since it doesn't say anywhere whether this will always be the same quality or whether I just got some kind of replacement, I don't know whether I want to go there again and try it. I find it really unfortunate. When I was in the corner I always stopped at Chupenga.

Decent burrito bowl, good portion size

In the past, at Rocket Tower you could also order half half for the side dishes and sauces. Today everything costs an extra euro, or even two euros. This is a far cry from good customer service. It's a shame that this store has developed like this. The room looks like a sad waiting room. Zero atmosphere and very bare.

Really love coming to Chupenga for years! The value for money is great, it’s a great place to eat fresh and healthy food. They are even offering pickled onions and jalapenos for free now! Additionally staff is very friendly and there’s a nice terrasse outside to enjoy the sun.

The taste of the food was quite good, but the service was very poor. Unfortunately, the numerous employees spoke very little to no German, which is why ordering was only possible in English.

i thought they would wrapped the food in tortillas based on restaurant photos! which they didn't. food was also cold

The food is so-so. Quite ok for a quick lunch. What really bothers me, however, is that for some time now, when paying (only with a card), people have been forced to indicate the percentage of “tip” that they “would like” to give. Choosing “no tip” will result in evil looks. The service is absolute assembly line work. That's okay with the concept, but I'm happy to give a tip voluntarily if I'm particularly satisfied with friendly service. Here I already pay for the food, and yes, of course it has to be prepared. One less reason for me to go here.

Food was basically Chipotle, very much fast food, in and out kind of place. Counter staff was great, just mediocre lunch with too much rice.

was craving a burritto and this location did not disappoint. i would even go as far to say as they are better than chipotle. really fresh food, great service and amazing flavor. even my mexican husband loved them ! 5 stars

Chepenga always has reliably good burritos and the sauce selection is excellent. Also the drinks are unique and free refills are a delight at all times. I would've given 4 stars, but the staff member who served us (young South Asian male with long hair) was quite rude to us. The area was noisy and he was speaking quietly and when we couldn't hear him properly and asked him politely to repeat himself, he shouted and made very aggressive faces, sighed and rolled his eyes. It was all really not needed. Maybe he was having a bad day, but the experience was very rude and we definitely didn't deserve that. I probably won't go again because of this.

The cheese in the burrito smelled extremely sour...

The store is visually appealing and there are plenty of places to sit down. However, the employees only spoke broken German, which made communication somewhat difficult. Overall, the burrito was very dry, the wrap was cold, and the cheese had a sour smell. Unfortunately, the burrito did not meet my expectations.

The employees spoke little German, the burrito was very dry (without sauce, even though we ordered it) and the cheese smelled sour. In addition, the bread was cold and the ingredients tasted like almost nothing. That's not worth €10

I really like this place, the portions abre pretty generous, and the price is not outrageous given the surroundings.

Food is still good, but portions have become smaller. The employees prefer to discuss their private conversations in front of the customers and only then serve you.... Arrogant vibes.... maybe you just have to be more hipster than the service person themselves to get the necessary attention?!

They make you go trough the whole process and then don’t accept cash and you have to leave without your food.

If you are looking for an AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant, please keep looking. I'm Mexican, and any "mexican" restaurant that uses corn in their dishes is NOT an authentic Mexican restaurant. 😑

Sauces behind the counter are not spicy. The sauces on the table, on the other hand, are a blast. Recommend the Habanero for a mild result.

A very run-of-the-mill burrito place. Though quite catered for the office people around the area. Many people from the staff luckily speak English and at least one of them is quite good at Spanish 😝

Bin oft zu Mittag hier. Sehr leckere Burtitos die wirklich satt machen. Leider wird für jede extra Zutat zusätzlich Geld genommen, deshalb ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten cooler Laden mit leckerem und schnellem Essen.

Naja. Das Essen schmeckt gut. Die Größen der Portion sind stark vom Personal abhängig. Das Personal spricht kaum Deutsch obwohl es nur 4 Gerichte gibt. Der Preis ist etwas höher für ein kurzes Essen in der Mittagspause, für halb Huhn halb Rind muss man unterschiedlich extra zahlen, aber okay. Das Personal ist nicht wirklich freundlich bzw. aufgeschlossen. Ich habe spaßeshalber mal die (Chefin? klein und blond) mit meinen Kolleginnen für ca. 30. Minuten beobachtet und sie hat nicht einmal gelächelt. Auch an anderen Tagen nicht. Warum kann man nur noch mit Karte zahlen... (vielleicht hat man Angst, dass Geld weg kommt?) Das Ambiente ist wie der einer Kantine und zu Stoßzeiten versteht man sein eigenes Wort nicht.

Stunning burrito, an absolute handful! This isn't a classy restaurant though, it's an eat-in diner but the food is gorgeous!

Sicher nicht authentisch Mexikanisch, aber super lecker! Gerade der Burrito hat diesen schön weichen "Weizen-Fladen", die Guacamole ist immer köstlich und die Salsa selbstgemacht. Früher habe ich gerne das Chicken oder Beef gegessen weil es eine hohe Qualität hat, aber inzwischen bin ich mit Vegi Hack noch glücklicher ☺️ Geht immer super schnell, was To-Go Sinn macht.
