The ambiance and food was good. It didn't take long for the food to arrive and was delicious. As person to try sushi for the first time, the experience was not bad. The online booking option doesn't really work. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Hope they improvise their booking facilities and pay attention to customer requests.

Literally every single aspect in here is perfect. Incredible service, interior design and the food... Even the Wasabi and Soy Sauce tasted incredible. Also the housemade lemonades were the best I ever had. Price is totally fair. Insane!!!

We spontaneously went out to eat and by chance we found this restaurant, we were greeted in a friendly manner and despite the many guests we were given a table near the entrance gate. Since it was a bit drafty there, the waitress came to us again and gave us a table in the Offered near the kitchen after he became available. After we ordered our dishes we had to wait a bit because it was very busy but we weren't disappointed! In addition to the tasty sushi, there was another visual highlight on the plate with smoking vases 🤩 the price was also fair!

The chaos does not have a very present place in Heidelberg. If you're not a tourist you probably won't come by by chance, but it's very tasty. The staff is helpful and nice. Always keeps an eye and asks questions. The location is ok. They made something beautiful out of it. One or two things could be made more comfortable and nicer. I have always eaten sushi and it has always been delicious, fresh and beautifully arranged. Gladly again.

We found this restaurant on google and impressed by the good reviews we decided to give it a try. On a Saturday evening it gets pretty crowded, so make sure you make a reservation. The atmosphere was lively, service was very friendly and fast. They have a diverse menu with several vegetarian options. I had a delicious vegetarian curry and the size of the plate was pretty big. Prices were also reasonable. We are happy to have found this gem in Heidelberg and we will definitely come back!

We ate here for the third time yesterday. Always in a larger group! The service is great, the food is delicious and it always comes quickly. I had forgotten something and my email was answered quickly and solved very courteously. We'd love to come back when we're back in Heidelberg.

Super tasty and right at the valley station of the cable car to Königsstuhl. You can also park in the parking garage right next door. And you should make a reservation there.

Unfortunately, Pho was a little watered down and service was a disaster. After we were brought to our table, it took 30 minutes for someone to take our drinks. The woman who was there seemed to be actively avoiding any eye contact and it was actually impossible to get her attention. After a considerable wait, her colleague took over. Even when we wanted to pay, it took an eternity for anyone to notice us.

Super great authentic Asian restaurant that impresses with very tasty dishes with meat and meat, but also vegetarian and vegan. We are always thrilled here and especially the tofu is a dream and only one other restaurant that I know does it so well.

The food is delicious. But something is missing for the atmosphere.

Choa always feels like an insider tip. The sushi is super good and the price is fair. The sushi “combo” menus are our recommendation. A real eye-catcher. In addition to the sushi, we also love the pho. We haven't eaten anything like it in Germany. The broth makes the difference.

After I walked through the entrance gate, the initially assumed gloomy atmosphere was contradicted by an extremely beautiful ambience. My dish was a little too tasty towards the end, but the taste convinced me and my companion. Highly recommended, especially after an enchanting ride on the Heidelberg mountain railway.

Ambiance was ok, but the food was very good and so was the service. We would come again. Ajo, there are children's meals, also fries with schnitzel (which was also pretty good) that saved our lives so we could eat something Asian.

After a long, beautiful day in Heidelberg, you can sit there very comfortably. I had a bowl and the food itself was very tasty, unfortunately I had too much sauce on it. Next time I'm there I'll definitely try the sushi.

Yesterday I went to the Choa Restaurant for the second time and this time I was once again thrilled by the authentic and really outstanding Asian cuisine. For starters we had the vegetarian gyoza, which were very crispy and deliciously filled, and for the main course we had the “Japanese Udon Noodles” with grilled roast beef. Our trip to Heidelberg was worth it just for this really great lunch! I still remember the very good sushi from my first visit here (about 2.5 years ago). Definitely recommended!!

The location with the cable car could distort the first impression. The food was fantastic! Best Asian food I've tried so far. We had Veggie Gyoza and Japanese Udon Noodles with homemade teriyaki sauce, crunchy vegetables and grilled roast beef. Nice service. We will be back!

The restaurant had a large selection of Asian food and it was beautifully presented. The appetizer was good, but unfortunately the sushi was just average. Unfortunately, the sushi rolls didn't have much flavor (too much mayo and avocado, you couldn't taste the salmon). Unfortunately, the service was also not satisfactory. Some of us were still eating the starter, but she was already clearing the plates. In my opinion, every person at the table should be finished eating before it is supposed to be cleared away. The main course was also served directly after the starter without taking a break. The restaurant wasn't full.

Food and service were great. Unfortunately, the information about allergens is incorrect for many dishes. Many dishes with tofu, for example, lack soy. You can at least tell from the description, but maybe not with sauces

There is a sign in front of the door advertising the lunch menu. The fact that it only applies to certain days is written small in the corner, barely visible. So the bill will be at least 50% higher than expected. Orders were more of a gamble. Sometimes wrong, sometimes we got something we didn't order. Recommend? Never!

Top quality sushi 🚀🚀🚀 It's hard to imagine better sushi like Choa. The freshness and presentation of the dishes here may also be unique for Heidelberg. Yesterday we ate Sushi Dat for 2, a heavenly platter for 2 people that leaves nothing to be desired. The €58.00 for this wasn't a cent too much, simply in a class of its own. Although it was completely enough, out of sheer curiosity we had to eat the tunar tartare for €11.00, a wonderfully seasoned tuna on a bed of avocado and seaweed. Respect and see you soon.

Went there because of good rating, but was disappointed. First, the location- is not really good, you won’t be sitting and looking on the beautiful historic streets, it looks more like a metro place. Interior inside is not bad. Second, we faced with bad service, we waited more than 30> minutes to order. Then more then 30 minutes to pay. Food was good and interesting serving the dish. We ordered the family menu+ some other rolls, and for so big bill we expected perfect service. We approached him more than 4 times to ask for a selfie box for the person in the car... it was terrible. He just went to serve other tables and forgot. Service is a disaster. It's easy to wait 30 minutes for your drinks. The tables are not cleared after the meal. I also ordered beef, which tasted like fish because it was probably grilled on the same grill. Prices very expensive for what you get.

A bit too pricey. Our experience was great with the staff and the atmosphere, but the food was nothing special. It may depend on a personal taste and on what we ordered. Maybe not their Must. We got Ebi tempura inside out rolls as starter. As mains, teriyaki Salmon and teriyaki Tuna fish, which looked like "soups", so too much broth and too sweet.

Präsentation war top, Geschmack ist okay. Mitarbeiter war freundlich. Der Laden ist schön eingerichtet und sauber.

Ich war bereits mehrfach hier. Sushi- und Sashimiqualität wirklich klasse, da können viele andere Sushi-Restaurants nicht mithalten. Das Anrichten mit dem „Nebel“ ist auch etwas ganz besonderes. Auch die warmen Gerichte haben überzeugt und die Bedienung war super freundlich! Klare Empfehlung, hoffentlich bleibt dieses Restaurant Heidelberg noch lange erhalten.

Sushi ist wirklich sehr gut. Die Fleischgerichte sind auch gut. Service top. Leider waren die Gerichte nicht so heiß, was schade war. Dafür ein Punkt Abzug.

Wir waren zwei Erwachsene mit Kind. Es war sehr gut, schnelles u frisches Essen zudem schön angerichtet. Preis ebenfalls in Ordnung. Vielen Dank an Euch

Bis jetzt mein Lieblingsrestaurant - auch wenn der teuerer geworden ist (glaube ich zumindest); dafür lohnt es sich aber auch jedesmal da gewesen zu sein. Man bekommt schöne große Portionen, vielfältige Speisen und tolle Inneneinrichtung und insgesamt eine schöne Atmosphäre. Das Essen schmeckt absolut Klasse! Und die Toiletten waren immer sauber gewesen.

Sehr gutes Restaurant im Herzen von Heidelberg. Liegt direkt an der unteren Bergbahn Station . War heute Abend voll ausgebucht. Haben gerade noch so einen Tisch für 5 Personen bekommen. Die Bedienung (sehr nett und und freundlich) kam schnell, genau wie die Getränke und die Vorspeisen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Gemüse knackig und gut gewürzt. Viel Fleisch auf dem Teller. Preis war für Heidelberg ok… Halber Stern Abzug für die Temperatur. In dem Laden waren es gefühlt 45C°. In der heutigen Zeit sollten solche Läden klimatisiert sein. Ich als Schwerbehinderter Mensch hatte so meine Probleme….

Wer authentisch vietnamesische Küche liebt wir hier eher enttäuscht werden. Das Essen empfanden ich eher als all in one asiatisch als Maggi Asia. Wir hatten Pho, Udon und Teriaki Rind. Das Fleisch war mehr als tot und die Soße eher Packung ohne Finesse. Die Pho alles in allen Durchschnitt war der Glanzpunkt des Abends. Schade. Bewertungen sind für mich hier leider nicht gerechtfertigt.

Tolles Essen und sehr guter Service

Direkt bei der Bergbahn, hier gibt es eine große Auswahl an Sushi und anderen japanischen und vietnamesischen Gerichten. Das Sushi ist sehr lecker, wird mit viel Liebe angerichtet und man kann bei de Zubereitung zusehen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Lokalität ist etwas versteckt und leider nicht mit der schönsten Aussicht ausgestattet . Innen fühlt man sich dennoch wohl, Schönes dezentes asiatisches Ambiente. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und super Freundlich. Leider war es die einzige Bedienung und gegen 19 Uhr war das Restaurant relativ voll. Die Dame war dennoch fix und dennoch leider offensichtlich etwas überlastet. Sie tat mir wirklich leid. Vor allem weil weitere Personen die Offensichtlich dort arbeiten mehr oder weniger neben dran standen. Vielleicht sollte man für abends eine zweite Bedienung einstellen, denn das ein oder andere ging trotz der Bemühungen unter. Zum Essen. Es war sensationell. Ich kann es nicht anders sagen. Das Sushi war ein Traum, wunderschön angerichtet (mit Trockeneis-Effekt) der Mangosalat und die Udonnudeln super lecker! Die Preise sind etwas gehobener aber ich finde es lohnt sich. Das war ein Erlebnis! Ich kann das Restaurant wirklich weiterempfehlen!
