The café is very stylish and the food was OK, however I did not appreciate: -The menu is only on Instagram and they do not provide WiFi -It is very difficult to find different choices and ingredients on the Instagram page -there was no price information about these items - there was no drink menu - We waited very long for the coffee even though the café was not that busy Because of this, I did not feel like the price quality ratio was there for the Brunch a lack of transparency :( I wish they created a webpage with a regular menu layout or had a paper menu.

I think everything has been said and written about this place. I really enjoy visiting Chinaski in the morning. The service is very friendly, and I always start my day well here.

We were there for brunch last Saturday. First of all, the food and drinks were great. The staff were friendly, but overwhelmed, which isn't their fault. You're in the middle of the action, seeing and being seen. A few cars even tried to be heard 😀 So far, everything was very satisfactory, if you can handle the circumstances. Points deducted for the inadequate, dirty, and broken restrooms! French standards in filth.

Everytime I visit Frankfurt for work, I have to get my breakfast from Chinaski! The food, service and atmosphere is always 10/10.

We were there on the weekend, and you have to be patient or arrive early, as the place fills up very quickly. Nevertheless, our eggs Benedict and our avocado bread with poached egg were perfect! Both the taste and the portion sizes are well-chosen (you're full but not overstuffed). The coffee comes from a decent portafilter machine and is in no way inferior to the food. The price is a bit on the higher side, but reasonable given the location and ambiance, as you can expect Frankfurt prices here. The service is very friendly, and we'll definitely be back.

Eggs Benedict was like a boiled egg—very dry, just like the bacon. They skimped on the sauce, and the matcha was served in a small glass that was only half full. Two mini guacamole scoops were €7. 70% ice cream and 30% matcha. The staff was very friendly. The price/performance ratio doesn't make any sense.

Simply fantastic! The prices are a bit high, but you really get what you pay for. Super friendly service, great food! I only had to wait quite a while for the coffee, but the place was completely packed.

we placed an order with delivery and for the second time they did not add the caramel sauce we paid for. You forgot twice or deliberately took the money and did not add it. Why is that? Pay attention to this. It turns out that for the second time we are paying for the caramel sauce that is already in stock, and for the additional sauce that we also indicated and paid for, we still have not received it! and see what these pancakes look like when they are delivered.

We went there for breakfast today. The staff is very friendly and the place is really nice. What I didn't like was that the drinks took a while and all came one after the other, not at the same time, like the food. Everything was brought out every five minutes, and the food was completely seasoned and extremely expensive. For a sandwich with egg and avocado, we paid just under €20 for two people, and we paid €50.

Two of us went there for breakfast. It was a nice-looking café with very friendly and pleasant service. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. It completely exceeded our expectations. There's nothing to complain about; it's definitely worth a visit. We'll be back when we're in Frankfurt.

Now with a new look! Visually redesigned but still top-notch. From steak to cappuccino! Great location! A great hotel spot for tourists too! The Chinaski is a must-see, whether you're a Rhine-Main resident or a visitor/vacationer! They serve a delicious breakfast, including all sorts of pancakes, sandwiches, or various single dishes. Other special and sustainable drinks, as well as classics like cappuccino. The restaurant is very beautiful, romantically decorated with flowers. There's space inside in a pleasant ambiance, and you can also sit outside. The front side facing the street can be opened completely. This way, you're in the center and not separated from the interior. Very friendly service. Very fast, funny, competent, and that alone is reason enough to come 😉 The menu works via QR code and a smartphone. I thought it was very modern! So, give it a try! If you haven't been there, you've missed out!

You might as well put a sign that says no pram no baby allowed on the door. Can’t really comment on food as we left after sitting down. The staff made sure we felt as unwelcome as possible. We came with a small baby which I understand might not please everyone. the staff offered the smallest seating area for 2 people. Parisian bistros have more space than that table. After we said it was too small, we were begrudgingly offered another table. Before we got a chance to even sit down, another staff came and very abruptly asked us to put the stroller away. And there was nobody coming to the table next to us. No please no thank you, in fact my bum has just touched the sofa seat. we are not the kind who thinks parents with kids are above all, we were about to fold it away anyway, just needed 30seconds to take the baby out ffs.

Me and my friend visited Frankfurt for the Chris Brown concert. We visited Chinaski studio and bar for brunch on our last day. We met owners Dirk and Caroline who were so lovely to us. They even gave us a a complimentary cheesecake after our meal. If you ever visit Frankfurt then this little gem is a must. Thank you❤️

What a lovely place. The owners Caroline and dirk have set up such a nice place to relax and the food is 10/10, it was perfect. Super busy but if theirs a queue just wait as it’s worth it.

The food was good, but mandatory tipping isn't a good idea. I actually wanted to leave a tip when paying, but before I could say anything, the server asked me to add an extra 11%. Unfortunately, that leaves a bad impression.

Today we were waiting at the entrance for a table to get free ( even though other waitresses had already said we could wait there) as it was cold outside, not blocking anyone or causing any disruption. A male waiter approached us rudely told us to stay out. He could’ve just asked politely. Very disappointing!!!

We sat there for 30 minutes, waiting for a waitress who served everyone beside us except us. Apparently, we weren't German enough for the place—disgusting behavior. If I could, I would give it 5 stars.

The quality of the food has declined significantly, and the presentation of the food seems lacking in love – everything is now geared towards mass production and quick turnaround. The value for money is no longer right for us. It's a shame, because it used to be very tasty and cozy. (My salmon was unfortunately completely marbled and not of great quality.) Unfortunately, after the change in concept, it's no longer cozy – you can tell they were trying to fit as many people in as possible. I had to get up every time the guests next to me wanted to get up – because there was no aisle between our tables.

A truly beautiful spot with a view of the Old Opera House in the heart of Frankfurt. The food is absolutely fantastic! It's a bit on the pricey side, but if you enjoy a good breakfast, it's definitely worth it! The acai bowls and the avocado bread are truly amazing and highly recommended! We'll be happy to come back again from time to time.

The food is wonderful. Great service and a cool atmosphere round out your visit here. My recommendation: start with food and an aperitif at the Studio Bar, then head down to the Chinaski Club for a dance and a round of dancing with Fabiano. The photo shows the pasta special.

I went to this restaurant for brunch with some friends. It's a very popular place — on Sunday morning, not long after we sat down, a line started forming outside. We ordered the Benedict and pancakes. Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted pretty good. Since the restaurant was quite busy, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, and the service wasn’t as attentive as we had hoped. The prices were on the higher side, probably because the restaurant is located near the Old Opera House, but overall, we found them acceptable.

Tasteful interior, food and drinks very tasty, the staff (especially Clément) are cool, so breakfast/brunch is fun! A table outside wouldn't be my thing because of the loud Bockenheimer Landstrasse, but I found sitting inside much nicer. Cheers!

Das Personal sorgt mit Freundlichkeit und Professionalität für eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Essen hingegen hat Luft nach oben. Während es keine größeren Mängel gibt, fehlt manchmal der besondere Funken, der die Speisen aus der Kategorie „okay“ in „gut“ heben würde, vor allem sollte mehr darauf geachtet werden, dass die Speisen noch warm an den Tisch ankommen. Wenn du auf der Suche nach erstklassigen Cocktails und einem guten Service bist, ist das CHINASKI eine gute Wahl. Für den kulinarischen Genuss gibt es vielleicht andere Optionen, aber für Getränke ist man hier richtig.

We were there before noon. Very good service. It was the best Eggs Benedict during our trip to Germany. The coffee was great and the pancakes not only looked good, but were very fresh! But the whole thing also has its price - a bit too high... The furnishings are great, but quite narrow and the distance to the neighboring table is too small. Nevertheless, I can recommend it without hesitation.

I used to enjoy going there until after our last visit. Before we ordered anything, we were informed that only cash payment was possible, which wasn't a problem for us as we had enough cash for food and drinks. Afterwards, however, we wanted a receipt for the entertainment, unfortunately without success because the printer machine was broken. We then said that you should please email us the invoice, to which they replied in the affirmative. (Email address was of course also provided). Well, what can I say, that was two or three months ago and of course we haven't received an invoice. Conclusion: We will never set foot in this store again.

Pearl Barley risotto is not gluten free as described. The restaurant changed the interior and it is uncomfortable seating as the staff and the customers have no space to move.

The lotus pancake was absolutely insane, so delicious! The atmosphere and interior design are really nice and cozy. Just a heads-up: if you’re going as a group of three or more, be prepared to wait a bit longer in line (they seem to seat pairs faster). But once you’re in, the brunch is totally worth it!

Me encantó este lugar. Tenía muchas esperanzas. Y cuando tuvimos nuestros entrantes, estaba tan emocionada. Los entrantes eran deliciosos y yo estaba listo para ser cautivado por el principal (mi marido consiguió el salmón y yo el berro risotto). Tuve un mordisco y medio y no pude tener más. El arroz ciertamente no era arroz risotto, no tenía sabor en absoluto, la textura era terrible, tan malo que literalmente no podía poner otro tenedor en mi boca. Mi esposo dijo que el salmón no tenía sabor. Pagamos y nos fuimos justo después de eso.

I loved this place. I had such high hopes. And when we got our starters, I was so excited. The starters were delicious and I was ready to be wowed by the main (my husband got the salmon and I got the watercress risotto). I had one and a half bites and I could not have anymore. The rice was certainly not risotto rice, it was not flavorful at all, the texture was terrible, so bad I literally could not put another forkful in my mouth. My husband said the salmon had zero flavor. We paid and left pretty much straight after that.

Had lunch here, ham and bacon melt. It was tasty, good amount of cheese and BACON! The avocado sauce on the side was a pleasant surprise (I’m not a avo fan). Price is a little higher than nearby cafes and restaurants but I guess you pay for the atmosphere too. I’d be back for breakfast pancakes (why btw I wished they offered as all-day)

There were seven of us in the Chinsaki restaurant and we had a great evening! For starters we ordered various dishes to share - all very tasty and perfectly portioned. As an aperitif there were delicious cocktails that really started the evening. For the main courses we chose a risotto with wild garlic, pasta with prawns and a fantastic steak - every dish was simply delicious and of the highest quality! The preparation was perfect and the flavors simply harmonized. Finally, we tried the desserts, which were also delicious and ideal for sharing. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We will definitely come back and can only recommend the restaurant!

Studio Bar Chinaski – Frankfurt with Taste, Soul, and Style An evening at Studio Bar Chinaski is more than just dining – it's a complete experience. The cuisine, atmosphere, drinks, and clientele – everything blends together in an elegant, relaxed way. We began with a selection of sharing plates, which we enjoyed together at our table – casual, communicative, and full of flavor. The Green Tzatziki with Greek yogurt, avocado, cucumber, and tapioca crackers was light, fresh, and delicately balanced. The Whipped Feta with Crunchy Chili Cranberry impressed with its interplay of creaminess, sweetness, spiciness, and crunch – accompanied by rye bread that perfectly complemented it. Particularly aromatic: the Roasted Eggplant with Tahini & Lime Pesto – velvety cooked eggplant, cashew gremolata, lime pesto, tahini, and pomegranate. And of course: Sourdough Bread & Whipped Nutbutter – sourdough bread with fluffy, nutty butter. Clearly, that was a strong start. The drinks? Also impressive. Our gin cocktail with berries was fruity, balanced, not too sweet – a lovely start that whetted the appetite for the rest of the evening. The main courses were where things got really exciting again: The Wasabi Salmon – tenderly cooked salmon with pea puree, pea salad, blackberries, and a crunch of peanuts and wasabi – was my personal highlight. Jan Hoffmann's signature was clearly evident here: bold combinations, finely balanced, composed with sensitivity. The Barley & Watercress Risotto was equally convincing – fresh, green notes, lemon foam, Parmesan crisp, all harmoniously combined. The Entraña Marinada, a marinated sirloin steak with chimichurri, habanero salsa, and passion fruit, was robust, perfectly cooked, and we ordered two of them – along with two Roasted Triplets, wonderfully aromatic potatoes with rosemary and tomato flakes. A harmonious combination. The Damn Good Caesar Salad with corn-fed chicken, pancetta, and Parmigiano was also a delight – classic, robust, and perfectly executed. For dessert, we had the Chocolate Fudge & Mini Milk with milk ice cream, dulce, caramelized white chocolate, and Tellicherry pepper – another dish that reflects Jan Hoffmann's signature style: sophisticated, thoughtful, and yet absolutely delicious. The Cheesecake Addiction with pistachio and berry coulis was creamy, fruity, and very delicately presented. The service, which played a key role in shaping the evening, deserves special mention. Particularly worthy of mention is Clemant, an exceptionally charming Frenchman with a subtle northern Parisian accent – ​​attentive, pleasant, and with a congenial ease that wonderfully matched the mood of the evening. Equally warm and dedicated was Mikki, who guided the evening with insight and a keen sense for the guests. Both contributed significantly to the special atmosphere with their personal style. The bar team – professional, warm, and unpretentious – also did a fantastic job, expertly mixing drinks and displaying a relaxed demeanor. In general, the entire staff – from reception to the final round – was consistently friendly, dedicated, and present, without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere at Chinaski is not only defined by the food, but also by the space and the people. The large glass facade was open that evening as the sun set – a warm light, a gentle breeze, a view of the Old Opera House. Almost like a scene from a movie. And the audience was also part of the experience: a charming mix, communicative, stylish, and lively – just like the place itself. Conclusion: Studio Bar Chinaski is a place where cuisine, service, drinks, and atmosphere merge into a true experience. Jan Hoffmann's signature is noticeable where it should be – with subtlety, creativity, and taste. The rest is carried by a fantastic team, a stylish location, and the feeling that you are exactly where you want to be. In short: a poem of an evening. Clearly recommended.

Even though we didn't have a reservation, we immediately looked for a way to make our evening as pleasant as possible - with success! The welcome was warm, the team extremely competent and attentive. After the re-opening, the location shines in new splendor and offers an even more beautiful atmosphere. An all-round successful visit – we would love to come back!

Our evening at Chinaski was simply fantastic! From the first minute we felt completely at home. The atmosphere is stylish, cozy and invites you to enjoy the evening in relaxed company. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive and always available without being intrusive. We weren't disappointed in terms of cuisine either. The steak was cooked to perfection, the pasta was wonderfully aromatic - we would order both again at any time! The cocktails were a particular highlight: creative, unusual and perfectly balanced. Here you can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality and taste. An all-round successful evening - we will definitely be back and can only recommend Chinaski!

Before the renovation and the reopening I would have always given 5 stars, but: Since the reopening, you can only make reservations in the evening, meaning you can easily stand in front of the door for half an hour (+ x) and wait for your turn. This is a particularly great solution because you obviously have endless time in the morning and then have nothing to do afterwards (sarcasm). In addition, prices have been increased and portions have been reduced. In my opinion, the prices were already on the higher side before, but now it's just overpriced. In addition, the new ambience is rather listless and no longer as friendly and inviting as before, even if that is probably subjective. Overall, an insane downgrade to what I was used to and just another listlessly run and overpriced, wannabe-fancy restaurant in Frankfurt. Well suited for a nice insta story, but that’s it.

I visited Chinaski Studio& Bar on a weekday evening and it was already packed with people. We didn't have a reservation so we got a seat right next to other guests and it was louder than a club so we had to scream the whole time to have a conversation. The waiters asked several times if we would like to order food even though we already had our drinks. If you like a chic atmosphere and want to have a good evening with friends this is the place, but for me the prices for the drinks and food were exorbitant and it was nothing special

One of the best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. I don’t know anyone else in the city who offers something like this, let alone anyone who does it better. And the pancakes... wow! I’d recommend this spot mainly for their pancakes! I visit this place every time for their pancakes, especially the STRAWBERRY & SALTED CARAMEL and the RAFFAELLO ones—they’re amazing and highly recommended. The simple Chocolate & Banana Pancakes aren’t as special. I also tried their toasts and sandwiches but didn’t like them, as there are many places with tastier sandwiches and better prices. Also the portions here are huge!

I am glad I found this cafe! The pancakes are delicious, the menu has a lot of different toppings. The portions are huge. We ordered sandwiches and pancakes, we were very full. I took half of the portion with me. The waiters were polite. The hoods in the cafe do not work well, there is a strong smell from the kitchen, but the summer terrace is great.

This is no doubt one of the best pancake places I have been to in the recent past. They have a very limited but interesting collection of the pancakes and drinks to compliment them. I had the pleasure of having a lotus pancake with a cappuccino. The reason I chose cappuccino was because I was feeling a bit down due to the weather. I recommend trying other drinks too (hot as well cold). The staff is amazing and is very cooperative. They help you if you are new to the pancake game. I went with their suggestion and don't regret it for a moment. The only reason I have given this place 4 stars is because though it is in the top 10 places of pancakes I've been, still there are better like fuwa fuwa. But overall I recommend you to please visit this place if you are a pancake lover.

Their salmon bowl is a deliciously absolute preis-leistung killer. while the rest of the city gorge on farmed and overpriced salmon, those at Chinaski indulge in wild, fjord salmon. their staff, too, are top notch—if you don’t find them nice, there’s probably something wrong with you. some of them there since years, one can assume that the management probably keeps the employees quite happy. remarkably receptive to criticism, they are keen to improve on all fronts. no non-sense. i might even add that though their clientele is the type i personally avoid, maybe even detest, the business is one of the most respectable in the city and benchmark-worthy. salute!

We were immediately greeted in a friendly and warm manner. A beautifully decorated cafe with a positive atmosphere. There was a good selection of drinks and food, which was all really tasty and, above all, very filling. The prices are a bit expensive, but you get the corresponding performance in return. Given the prices, a visit there would still be an exception for me personally😄 but in principle I highly recommend it!

Delicious place with a beautiful view of the Opera House. We ordered a bacon Benedict, Pastrami sandwich and pancakes. The portions are really large, the only drawback is that the yolk did not spread, but was completely cooked and the knives were terribly dull, it was impossible to cut with them. But overall, the impression is pleasant, the portions are filling and tasty :)

I've been to Chinaski several times. If you want to go on the weekend, be prepared for a queue, but it moves faster than you think. The ambience far exceeds the food. The quality of the food used to be better, but now it's moving towards fast food, but with an aesthetic presentation. The pancakes appear to be warmed up and are only decorated with berries and syrup. The toasts are okay. However, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is friendly. Taking into account the location, service and atmosphere, the prices are acceptable. Unfortunately, the food itself doesn't justify the price. I used to happily pay for it, but now if you want to eat well you should consider other options. The café is good, but not worth visiting at the moment. If Chinaski returns to its former quality, it would be worth a visit again. Unfortunately not at the moment.

It's very pleasant there and you feel very comfortable. The great colors and the relaxing music make everything even more beautiful. The service and the waiter are really a great guy!! very friendly and you feel very comfortable there - even if it's your first time there😆 - the bowls taste very good and so do the burritos. Unfortunately, it's a little more expensive than expected and sometimes the money for the food isn't entirely worth it, but you just need to be more informed in advance. generally very great!

We visited this lovely restaurant today. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and were allowed to choose a table. Drinks and food menus were used via your own cell phone. Orders were placed very quickly and the drinks were on the table in a flash. The prices are high, but still reasonable for the portions. After paying, we were immediately asked whether the leftovers could be packed up. The overall impression was very good! There will definitely be another visit on our part. Ps: There is a toilet, it could be a little cleaner and the fittings could be in working order.

This brunch place is incredibly good and highly recommended! The food was amazing and the staff was very nice .It's one of the best brunch restaurants I've ever eaten at.

A beautiful cafe. The furnishings are very very attractive. A real experience. There is excellent matcha and a wide variety of food. Of course the eye eats too. The staff was also a great chef and responded to any special requests. A great stay
