A nice spot for a meal before our flight. A bit out of the way in a quiet part of the airport. Recommend.

Great place if you are staying at any of the hotels in Frankfurt airport. The food and the beer were great with the German flavor and the service was quick.

Followed my nose here as the food smelled great. Was not dissapointed. I ordered the white sausage with pretzel and asked for some potato dumplings too. The sausages were served hot in a ceramic pot with their cooking water and the dumplings were cooked just right. It was fresh delicious and satisfying. I dont drink, but noticed other diners enjoying a variety of beers so they must be popular. If you fly of have a train through Frankfurt airport, try this place out. Hearty food, good price, good experience.

🍖Roasted German Pork Knuckles Two Versions €19,90: Pork trotters, sauerkraut, bread €20,90: Pork trotters, beer sauce, cabbage salad, 2 balls of potato dough I ordered the 20.90 euro version, but I thought I should have ordered the cheaper version. Cabbage salad is somewhere between lettuce and sauerkraut. I still prefer the pickled sauerkraut version. The meat of the pork trotters will not be very hard, and it is not very pickled, but at least it does not have the smell of pig. You must rely on the beer sauce to enhance the flavor. - 🍺Non-alcoholic beer €5.7 There are only two choices, very few, no lemon and no rye. - 📷2024/08/15

Good Bavarian restaurant, the portions are reasonable. Good selection of drinks, also on tap. Nice service even shortly before closing. Unfortunately not quite attentive that evening. International audience.

Sausage in tomato stew. A Junky traditional cuisine with lots of potatoes.

The tastiest place in The Square at Frankfurt Airport. Portions are very big but prices are quite reasonable. The place creates the feeling you are at a Biergarten in Bavaria (if you abstract yourselves from the fact you are in a covered space at airport:). Service is super so next time we are there again!

Pleasant evening with Bavarian food and very friendly and helpful staff... Typically Bavarian atmosphere... Unfortunately the food wasn't seasoned enough for us... Price/performance ratio is appropriate, as it's right at the airport...

The best way to finish off your trip. A meal at the Paulaner. My coworkers went next door to cap off this round of work; but, I came here again instead.

too many mice around the restaurant

This restaurant is located inside the train terminal just across the airport in front of exit of terminal B. Just take the escalator beside REWE supermarket. It serves delicious German cuisine and a large variety of drinks including German beer. Be aware on Sundays as kitchen closes at 9 pm.

Pleasant service. I was able to enjoy my meal in a spacious space that made it hard to believe that I was inside a station or an airport.

I went in without any expectations given that it is located at a train station across from the airport. I was pleasantly surprised with my order, "Münchner Schweinsbraten" Roast pork in beer gravy with potato dumplings and sauerkraut. A lot of care went in the seasoning, not just for the gravy but also in the sauerkraut. Maybe because it was my first time trying sauerkraut in Germany and not the jarred imitations they sell in the US. The serving size was huge and more than enough for one. It's hard to see in the photo, but there were actually three pork medallions of decent size. It's definitely a great option if you have an overnight layover and don't feel like going all the way into the city for a hearty meal.

I ordered the “Paulaner Schnitzel “ and it wasn’t fresh nor tasty. Even the salad looks like from yesterday. When asked if everything was fine I expressed my dissatisfaction to the waitress. She reacted very professional and excuses herself on behalf of the restaurant and offered me immediately a coffee as compensation. I ordered a beer instead which wasn’t charged end the end. Overall very professional staff but with required improvement on their food service.

Insanely rude staff, asked about a table that said reserved but was not taken for about 45 after the sign said.Maybe a language barrier, but just asking about the table made the waiter throw a tantrum and say we would not be served. Awful service, we were just inquiring about the table so we could try and watch the Euro 2024 on the big screen nearby.

I had an extremely bad experience at this Paulaner. After being told we could sit anywhere we sat down at an outdoor table. There was a reserved sign on it for 18:45. It was 19:20 so we figured it was okay. A waiter came over and asked if we reserved the table. I said no and he said we couldn’t sit there. We said we were told we could sit anywhere and he said not there. We got up and found another table. I was hoping he wouldn’t be our waiter but he came over with menus. I asked him then about the time on the reservation . I was told he would hold it for a half hour, which was passed. He then started having a fit and said he would hold it for an hour. I asked for a different waiter and he said no and that I called him a liar. My family of 4 was denied service. Wow!

Awful customer service. Was told to sit anywhere when we got there and then were asked to move in not the nicest of ways. After that we simply inquired why we couldn’t sit at that table and were close to berated by a male waiter with brown hair and a shorter stockier stature. After he was done aggressively talking to us he said he would not serve us. Still a little confused about what happened because up until now we have experienced such good service at this chain. Not only was this experience embarrassing but also frustrating. If you get this waiter run for the hills! Safe to say we probably will not be revisiting this chain of restaurants :(. If you have the choice of restaurants I would not recommend this one.

The restaurant is located directly in the airport building and offers a great ambience. Here you can get delicious Bavarian food at fair prices. The service staff is quick and friendly. I have a clear recommendation!

Solid Bavarian cuisine at Squaire. The cheese spaetzle are super strong! Service is on point. Surprisingly good.

Nice place to try german food when you are at the airport between connection flights. You can try different kinds of german beer, bavarian cousine. The even have seasonal specialties like on my picture: asparagus. You can watch the landing airplanes through the glas ceiling. The air condition could be better. (Why I just gave 4 stars for atmosphere). Even if you are coming from the city you can park in the squaire park garage and have a small train ride along the highway (free).

What do I need to say... . Paulauner Weizen!!

Really delicious food and very friendly service. We had Jägerschnitzel twice and Kaiserschmarren once + 2 beers. The price was perfectly fine at €60. The main course came after about 10 minutes and tasted very good. The side salad was also fresh and delicious. Kaiserschmarren really excellent, rarely eaten so well at an airport. To recommend!

Good food in a good atmosphere. The service was very good, even though there was a large group there.

When it's crowded, it takes a long time to come and take your order. I think it can't be helped because there are so many seats. As expected from a restaurant run by a major beer manufacturer, the taste is unmistakable. The beer and food are delicious. It's a German pub. It's a very nice store with easy-to-enter and clear accounting.

Excellent beer and German dishes. The place is in a mall (The Squaire) close to Frankfurt International Airport, in the same area than the Train Station. The decor might not be the best, but the food and the service were excellent.

Before a trip to the USA lasting several weeks, eat a real German meal... The food was decent, but not outstanding either. The service is good, but the lack of staff is noticeable here too. The ambience is what a tourist would imagine a Bavarian restaurant to be like, surrounded by modern architecture. What wasn't so nice was that it was cozy and warm under the glass dome of the Squaire.

Great variety of beer. I especially pleasantly surprised with the Radner. Rather sweet beer , than the typical bitter IPA. The food of Roasted bratwurst with sauerkraut is also surprisingly exceeded my expectation. Will visit again when I’m visiting Frankfurt airport.

Incredible Bavarian dishes (especially the Schweinshaxe ) great beer and atmosphere! It made me so happy to find a Bavarian biergarten in Frankfurt airport (hard to find if you get off a plane and look on gps but it’s by the long distance train station)! Good service and beer!!

Food was good. Beer was cold. Servers didn't care. Maybe 20% filled. We sat for 10 minutes and then went in to see if we could order. 3 servers were talking behond the bar. The server said I see you and will be there soon. It felt as if we had inconvenienced them to ask for a drink and food.

I particularly recommend the currywurst, preferably double. The salad alone is fresh and high quality. Bavarian atmosphere. Own beer menu. Been to the Paulaner twice in a row now because of various matters at the airport. Actually 5 stars, but I'll save the last one for myself. Airport prices, yes. But appropriate considering the quality. Recommendation!

I went right after getting off the airport and checking into the hotel. It's a beer restaurant and serves beer from southern Germany. It was very close to the airport and the Hilton hotel. The atmosphere is good, and there are terrace seats with ceilings, so you can feel the outside atmosphere without feeling cold. The atmosphere in the store was relaxing and comfortable. Also, even though I couldn't speak English or German, they patiently and patiently responded to me and helped me out. Like other German restaurants, there were no photos on the menu, but we got by by translating the menu from the images with Google Image Translate. The serving size was German-sized, so it was too much for an Asian person, but the taste was great and the beer went well. The portion was just right for 4 people to order 3 to share. Overall, it was a very nice and satisfying meal. I would like to stop by if I ever go to Frankfurt Airport again.

A little away from the hustle and bustle of the long-distance train station, we ate a delicious meal and received prompt service. Everything's o.k

I myself have been there twice in the past month and on both occasions it was excellent. The last time I was there we had the Veggie Flatbread for starters and the vegan Pesto Gnocchi. Both were delicious and substantial. Very good service and value for money especially for an airport (Terminal 1, 5th floor) essentially.

Delicious Oktoberfest delicacies. Staff attentive and quick. I'd love to come back there. Ordered and enjoyed the Oktoberfest platter today. Great again.

The food was very tasty . Large portions and good value for money. And yes, the restaurant is one of the top attractions for Asian and American travelers. But even as a German traveler, the Paulaner in the Squaire is a real treat for the palate.

I don't think I'll ever forget the taste of Schwein haxe and Paulaner hefe beer.

Nice beer garden at the long-distance train station from the airport. We bridged the waiting time for the train with a snack. Currywurst and white sausage were good and the service was quick and friendly despite the beer garden being full.

Nice ambience, good selection, delicious beer.Winzerpfanne very tasty, unfortunately the knuckle wasn't at all.Meat was still very firm, hardly any crispy skin and above all I was bothered by the homemade so-called dark beer sauce, which unfortunately didn't go well with this dish.Sweet taste with curry ketchup , completely different than in Paulaner restaurants before. But it's all a matter of taste and I was also offered to choose a different dish.

Good and tasty food at a good price-performance ratio. The food ordered was freshly prepared and the staff was very friendly. The beer garden was fully occupied and the restaurant was typically furnished, like a brewery. Highly recommended for the location at the airport.

Goulash soup and a glass of craft beer tasted just as I expected. I definitely plan to eat there again when I get to Frankfurt Airport and have time to transfer.

My wife and I were FORCED to stop here once we missed our flight, and thank God united lady told us about this place. The sausages my wife and I had were excellent, being a bier drinker that loves german beer.... nothing else to say, and my wife enjoyed her wine, our waiter Thomaslav(ibelieve was his name)was great

In the early afternoon the service person came and wanted to collect money because she was finishing work...she said the colleagues would come back to me...I paid...it was still half full...when I had it empty I sat there for 62 minutes before it was empty Glasses... the service walked past me several times and didn't respond... I find it more than weak and bad...

If you look for authentic, contemporary South German food and celebrate Octoberfest, Paulaner is a good stop. It is conveniently located in Squaire West on top floor above the railway station. If you are a beginner for German food, have the Octoberfest platter, that includes a crusty roasted porc knuckle, Weisswurst (white sausage) with sweet mustard , German meatloaf and a Schnitzel. Loads of meat of course, but a good start. Alternatively a full Wiener Schnitzel from veal or a full porc knuckle are s good choice and you start with Weisswurst with sweet mustard or an Obatzda, which is minced and flavored Camembert cheese

雖然沒那麼喜歡吃豬腳，但因為很久沒來德國了。不能免俗的逛完聖誕市集後，大快朵頤一番。豬腳和香腸都很好吃，餐後甜點，更是讓我感動🥰🥰🥰 人潮很多，外場服務人員僅僅一人，但依舊保有一定的服務水準，讓我的旅程劃下一個完美的句點。很開心，也謝謝當天服務我們的先生❤️❤️❤️

Gute bayrische Küche. Gelungenes Paulaner-Feeling im utopischen Square (sehenswert). Business Gäste und Touristen gleichermaßen vertreten. Sehr nette und aufmerksames Personal.

Wir gehen hier immer Essen wenn wir von Frankfurt aus in den Urlaub fliegen, Preis/Leistung stimmt, obwohl es hier auch teurer geworden ist als im vergangenen Jahr im September aber das ist ja normal

Ein wunderbarer Ort, um am letzten Abend vor dem Abflug ein zünftiges,deutsches Essen zu genießen! Typisch bayerisches Ambiente, typische Gerichte, alles heiß und frisch. Unser Gast war sehr beeindruckt.

Essen war OK, Pilze waren nicht frisch, ansonsten gut. Personal freundlich. Nochmal gutbürgerliche Küche vorm Abflug. Faire Preise War wieder da, alles gut, einzig zu meckern habe ich die Pommes, waren nur Schnipsel. Eventuell die Marke wechseln. Zu deutschem Essen gehören auch dicke Pommes!!! 😋

Spontan mittags in der Woche für ein Mittagessen eingekehrt. Schneller Service, ordentliche Portionen und alles sehr lecker.

Good food at a convenient location if you are travelling

Waren spontan während einem Ausflug zum Flughafen ✈️ hier essen. Bisschen von Schuss weg aber dennoch ok. Kleiner angetäuschter Biergarten, den Boden könnte man vielleicht mit Kunstrasen auslegen... Bedienung war fix bei uns, gut war dünn besucht. Bier und cola kamen promt 🍻 Karte war voll, gefunden hat jeder was. Essen kam heiß und deftig an die Tische. Toiletten sind sauber, warm Wasser wäre noch gut gewesen. Preislich, geschmacklich, freundlich- wir kommen wieder bei Gelegenheit ☺️

Ein sehr angenehmes Lokal. Man fühlt sich wohl, wird nett und flink bedient und das Essen schmeckt sehr gut . Wer den Flughafen besucht und eine Rast einlegen kann sollt vorbei schauen .

The food was delicious, but when I looked at the receipt , the $3 of tip was included withought telling anything to me. I was originally going to give it a tip to server, so anyway I paid it. but it wasn't feel good

Super lecker essen, nette Bedienung, interessante Lockation in modernem Gebäude. Nette Bedienung und schneller Service. Für die Haxen muss man einen Moment warten, ist aber legitim und notwendig. Toiletten sind leider nicht so groß und könnten bei vollem Haus nicht ausreichen. Bayrische Musik habe ich auch vermisst.

Wer bayerische Wirtshausküche mag, ist hier richtig. Die Haxen benötigen ca. 30 min ab Bestellung, was ok ist. Das Bier ist ok. Ambiente 4 Punkte - mehr läßt sich im Sqaire draußen nicht darstellen, innen ist aber auch ok. Und Service ist ok - ist halt schwer, Servicepersonal zu finden, immerhin wird man nicht wie in München in bestimmten Touri-Lokalitäten unfreundlich angeraunzt.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 10 Personen im Rahmen einer geschäftlichen Veranstaltung am Abend im Paulaner essen. Das Restaurant befindet sich direkt im Squaire beim Fernbahnhof des Flughafens. Daher ist es rein mit dem Auto nicht ganz so gut zu erreichen bzw. das Parken ist recht kostenintensiv. Das Ambiente ist natürlich typisch bayrisch. Es war sehr voll und insgesamt zu wenig Personal da. Auch wenn das Servicepersonal sehr schnell, auf zack und zudem freundlich war, mussten wir auf die Bestellung des Essens und auch später auf das Essen recht lange warten. Die Getränkebestellungen gingen dafür sehr schnell und später, nachdem das Restaurant nicht mehr ganz so voll war, war die Aufmerksamkeit stets vorhanden. Das Feedback zum Essen der Teilnehmer war insgesamt positiv. (Kleine Einschränkung war das Wiener Schnitzel, was etwas zu fettig war). Mit den kleinen erwähnten Einschränkungen Abzüge in der "B-Note" (beim Service und Essen), aber generell eine klare Empfehlung. Gerne wieder.

Einfach klasse. Das Personal top, trotz des sehr hohen Gästefrequenz.

Habe schon einige Male gut und preislich korrekt hier gegessen, sodass ich mich gestern abend auf ein zünftiges Essen nach meinem Flug freute. Um sicherzugehen, den langen Fußweg nicht umsonst zu machen, habe ich auf der Internet- Seite die Öffnungszeit der Küche kontrolliert ( 21.30). Umso enttäuschter war ich, dass ich um 21.10 nichts mehr zu essen bekam, und man auf meinen Einwand, dass ich extra auf die Küchenöffningszeiten geschaut hatte, die Antwort bekam, die Küche schliesse um 21 Uhr. Entweder muss diese Information geändert werden auf der Web-site, oder ich muss davon ausgehen, dass gestern abend ( kein Feiertag) die Lust fehlte, mir noch etwas zu servieren. Das lässt mich jetzt sicherlich beim nächsten Mal ûberlegen, ob ich dort essen möchte, wenn die Küche geöffnet ist.

Abseits des wirklich überteuerten und meist ekligen Flughafenrestaurants handelt es sich hier um wirklich leckeres Essen. Als Stärkung vor oder nach dem Flug sehr zu empfehlen. Preise sind für die Portionen mehr als angemessen, insbesondere im Vergleich zu den belegten Brötchen an den Terminals. Wir kommen wieder

Dans un aéroport, c'est un peu comme dans une station service, on ne s'attend pas forcément à bien manger et surtout pas à bon prix... Ce restaurant rompt tous les à priori que j'avais. Caché dans un coin de l'aéroport, terrasse calme et propre sous la verrière, intérieur sympa aussi. Une carte bien remplie, pas de healthy food en vue, quoique la salade était fraîche et délicieusement assaisonnée... Mais de la bonne nourriture de brasserie allemande, copieuse et goûteuse. Service rapide, mais vraiment pas très souriant et on sent le hop-hop-hop : On s'assoit, on choisit, on mange, on paye. Bon à la fin, avec mon niveau d'allemand moyen, j'ai quand même réussi à faire sourire le serveur. Il était tard et sans doute une rude journée... Une bonne adresse, je recommande.
