The food is such a poor value for money. Way too overpriced for average or below average taste. We will never eat here again in the future. Several items on the menu were not available. But we were only told this after we had looked through the menu for about 10 minutes and wanted to order. Porterhouse steak for €99 is just ridiculous. Tastes like dry, rubbery flesh. I wouldn't spend €10 on that. You don't even get decent side dishes like salad. For €100 I'd rather go to a Turkish or Arabic restaurant and get decent grilled platters with real side dishes. The store is ruining itself with its pricing policy and measly portions...

Unfortunately I had to withdraw my good rating from over a year ago. The quality is now not commensurate with the high price. Half the menu is not available. Apparently it's a systematic problem because many people have the same experience. Only after you have taken the time to choose the dish are you made aware of the many sold-out dishes. Carpaccio, filet mignon, lamb skewer sold out. We were offered the porterhouse steak as an alternative. It was very dry and rubbery on the inside. The smaller waiter tried very hard to please us. That was one of the few positive points. Never again..

I ordered mixed grill plate. The lamb chops are included In the mixed grill menu but they did not serve it but instead meat balls. The taste was not as I expected compared to the price.

Was recently in Frankfurt and went to this restaurant. We went on a Sunday night. The door greeter said CASH ONLY. There was a handwritten sign on the door that said CASH ONLY. There was no mention of any issues with a credit card machine or any other problems. They kept saying cash only. It was raining but we walked back a half hour to our hotel to pick up cash ( don’t trust the local ATMs since it’s a shady area at nighttime ). The food was good and my son wanted to try the burger. So we decided to visit again. This time miraculously they were accepting credit cards. At the end of our meal we got a handwritten receipt for the total. I think they take cash only on weekends. And credit on weekdays. Just a warning to fellow diners. The food is good quality but very very pricey. The burger was 36 euros. Overall not pleased with the customer service. Not sure if it is a Frankfurt thing to take cash only at time and credit at times. Diner be aware.

Since there was no price on the menu, I specifically asked the waiter how much the platter cost per person. He said the platter costs €35/person. We then ordered the platter for 3 people. When the food came I asked him how much steak weight it was approximately. He said it was about 1.6kg of meat. When we finished eating and wanted to pay the bill, the bill said €225 for this mix platter. I ask the waiter why the price is so high. The agreement was 35€/person and not 75€/person. He couldn't explain to me how the price came about. How can the mix platter of 1.6kg cost €225 when the tomahawk steak 1.2kg costs €114? I didn't want to cause a ruckus in the restaurant. We paid the bill and left. The next day I had diarrhea, stomach pain, fever, chills. The day after I wrote a complaint to YA'Medina Steakhouse. A Mr. Yilmaz replied to me and gave me feedback that I would get the money refunded. After repeated inquiries, I still haven't received the money back after 3 weeks. I am very disappointed about this incident. I feel extremely betrayed and robbed. I took all the photos and will post the incident on social media to warn people about it. A real shame...

Very tasty and tender meat! The steaks are highly recommended, the classic burger was moderately okay, but the lokum burger was very tasty I would definitely visit again!

Were in the back yard of the restaurant and was insulted by a "former" employee (Mohamad). We are “not real” Muslims because we show our feet (put on slippers) and defile the religion. You couldn't clarify it with the boss or with the employees. We were told a lot more that we shouldn't hear. Just disrespectful!

First of all, there was no welcome greeting. The service was quite friendly. You can't complain about the food, the meat tastes great. However, the price-performance ratio, especially with the Karisik izgara, is fatal. Almost €30 without drinks etc. for a meal that is just about the size of a kebab box + salad and rice. My visit to the Medina Restaurant in Frankfurt was mixed. Unfortunately, the BBQ chicken burger I ordered did not meet my expectations. This restaurant has completely surpassed the Ottoman style. From the appearance to the delicacies, everything has an oriental look and the ambience is beautiful. The decorations from antique to the seats from ancient times. The food in a different way than normal restaurants and the service is masterpieces. We, as 4 people, bought Iskender kebab. The portions were very small and there was not as much meat as stated in the menu. Iskender's sauce was very nice, but I can't say the same for the meat. I went with my family from Stuttgart to Frankfurt to Medina to break my fast. We were told to be there at 6:15 p.m. and we were! There were always only 2 dishes on the menu: starters/main courses/dessert because of Ramadan, it was my biggest disappointment not being able to eat what I actually wanted! Now we ordered and the food came 20 minutes after we broke our fast!!!!! I went there for the second time in years and I won't make the trip again! It really didn't taste good, nobody finished eating and we were all disappointed.

So... for these prices I expect a top steak. A 300 gram steak costs well over 30 euros including 1 (!) side dish. First we ordered water. We were given bottles straight away without asking. It doesn't matter at first... but it would be good to ask. The fries were "good". The rice was also a 1-2. The food was served so quickly and at the same time. However, the plates were placed the wrong way round. We also ordered rosemary potatoes. These were soft and there was no difference to jacket or boiled potatoes. In addition, they were spongy in fat or oil. You couldn't figure that out clearly. We had a hamburger and fries for the little one. The burger was inedible for her. So she quickly swapped steaks with her brother. We ordered 3 steaks. 2 x medium, 1 x medium well. It came 3 x medium... actually 2 x medium-rare. The meat was not juicy - very tough - not served nicely - there was a piece of herb butter on the steaks, which must be wrong if at all and you should ask first - and all in all it was just overpriced. It was well filled, full... and you should pay attention to the big picture. I've seen this place for years and always thought I wanted to go here. It's not that easy because the location is a bit out of the way and there are neither good parking nor good train connections. However, in this (initially and apparently) top-looking restaurant, the emphasis is on exclusivity and quality. Then you just walk a little. First of all - if the waitress only comes to check out and doesn't ask whether it was tasty, then that's a matter of course for the experience or the quality. Now it's also the case that here in the highly praised Iranian restaurant, you can't really expect to find an Iranian (for these prices🤷🏾‍♂️) well-rehearsed waiter and waitress team, but, in our opinion, a tired, mixed-up multicultural bunch . Now that's the case, and I don't want to completely disqualify "the store", although we also saw many other disappointed faces, BUT - and I'm still trying to be fair here, the Maredo... isn't bad either . The fries at Maredo are - exactly the same quality as and measured against what we had here. The steak there is always fresh, juicy, never tough, and ALWAYS on point and all in all it costs about half as much as here, and the four of us yesterday all agreed that it was completely overrated YA' MEDINA!

Definitely don't eat here! The public order office discovered an infestation of mice, and a lot of food was not covered at all. There is also a cockroach infestation in the basement area! Food was stored incorrectly and was sometimes exposed to the risk of contamination. You can read everything about Consumer Window Hesse. They try to attract Muslim customers with their conservative nature, but the main thing is mouse droppings on work surfaces and in the cupboards. Went there for lunch with my fiancée today, the food, the service and the service were 10/10, very friendly staff, the food was all great! Because I really liked their ayran, I went back in the evening to take one to go, despite the fact that they didn't have any to go, they emptied a bottle of water and gave me an ayran, thank you again! I come from Aachen and will definitely come back

We ate here for the first time today, but definitely not the last time. A good alternative to usual steakhouses and there are also options for vegetarians. Kevin, our service person, was very friendly and accommodating!
