China-Restaurant Bonsai Garden in München

I ordered several appetizers to take away. It was truly a disaster. It was a disgrace, unfortunately, what I got. Everything was dry and tasteless. Canned food from the discount store is more worthwhile!!!!!!!

This restaurant welcomes you with a beautiful garden. Turn the page of the menu card and you find their story. Talk to the staff and their humility will impress you. Then comes the tasty food in plates with nice art on them. We ordered dishes with their spice level 5 (highest level) and could not stop admiring the taste of the food. We will be back soon. Please order according to your spice tolerance. the food. Those from India could relate it

We ordered pasta to go and explicitly stated that we wanted it vegetarian without meat. Unfortunately, we were still served a dish with meat. This was not only disappointing but also annoying, especially for a to-go meal that cannot simply be returned. Such mistakes should not happen with orders that clearly state their instructions. I sincerely hope that more attention will be paid to customer wishes in the future. I would strongly recommend that such orders clearly state on the packaging or receipt whether the dish is vegetarian or not. Alternatively, it would be helpful if employees asked again before packing the food or checked the order with the customer. This could prevent such misunderstandings in the future.

No matter what you order here, everything is unbeatably good. Highly recommended for people who love Chinese cuisine. Keep it up, I always enjoy eating at this restaurant.

It's still a nice restaurant We still know it from Freischützstrasse Over the years the quality of the food has deteriorated a bit. Maybe just the chef changed. The last time we were there was 7 years ago.

The prices were way too high, the food wasn't authentic, and it was rather lackluster. Some of it looked like it came straight out of an Uncle Ben's glass. It could definitely be better. The service and ambiance didn't impress me either.

Unfortunately, I wasn't entirely convinced by the food this time. I was missing something. Can't describe it any other way than by saying that the special "spice" namely the love for the dish was not used by the kitchen in such a way that one could rave about it being a great pleasure. The food was good but not a highlight. The mixed starter plate with spring rolls and wontons e.g. To me it tasted more like ready-made frozen food than home-made, but the pasta nests with crabs were an experience. The duck was very tasty and very filling, actually almost too much for one person, but the side dishes were cooked for too long and therefore very soft and the peanut sauce, which I love so much, was only available very sparingly. The price structure is not exactly low, but you would expect a slightly different result. Maybe another time the performance will convince me more.

We sat at a very nice table on the terrace, the mood was very suitable and cozy. The waitress and host were very friendly and made us feel like home with their welcoming tone. The duck and crispy chicken was fantastic and also their crispy noodles. I recommend anyone looking for an authentic chinese experience.

The service was great, nice, friendly, extremely fast. The selection of food could be a little better. E.g. Thai Red Curry. I know so many people who don't like green curry. But everyone has their own business. Otherwise everything was ok. Nice terrace is on the street but you can live with that as the settlement is quite quiet.

Finally! A real Chinese restaurant with authentic food. If you are looking for crispy noodles, you can find it here! Soups and main dishes taste really good. It's definitely worth a visit. This will now be my go-to Chinese restaurant even if I do have to travel 35 minutes by car. Love it!

We have dined here for many years and love it for it's food, staff & friendly service. They are traditional in their style which we appreciate vs. modern style Chinese. They have a history of long lasting success with delicious & diversified menu items. The owners are terrific and we don't want you to change a thing for years to come! A restaurant that only a few people seem to know about, but why? The service is excellent (the waitress is very friendly and had time for much more than just small talk). The ambience is simple AND valuable at the same time. The food is so good that you remember it fondly

The duck was amazing - cooked to perfection. Other meats were pretty delicious too. But the chicken? Nah, didn't hit the mark. Atmosphere's a bit bland, nothing special. If you're in it for some tasty duck, it's worth a shot!

We were not expecting to find such authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine here in Munich but we were very pleasantly surprised. Not many stalls were open on Christmas Day so we were happy to find any eatery that was open. We ordered the Hot & Sour Soup, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Steamed Fish, Tofu on a Hotplate and the Singapore noodles. It is not an exaggeration when I say that every dish passed the taste test. The chef and restaurant is to be highly commended If you're in the neighbourhood and wanting that hunger satiated, this place will do it for you.

Spontaneous visits are also possible, attentive service. Also large selection of vegetarian dishes

Ich war hier seit 20 Jahren nicht mehr und als meine Kollegen mich gefragt haben ob ich ein gutes chinesisches Restaurant in der Gegend kenn, habe ich mich wieder erinnert. Tatsächlich wurde keiner von uns 5 enttäuscht. Super Service, gutes chinesisches Bier und ein phantastisches Essen. Jetzt regelmäßig :-) Ich musste lernen dass man Geschmacksverstärker sogar in die Karte schreiben muss wenn nur Sojasauce zum kochen verwendet wird und Glutamat etwas natürliches ist das zum Beispiel in hohen Mengen in überreifen Tomaten vorkommt. Daher verstehe ich Kunden nicht die den Einsatz von Geschmacksverstärkern bemängeln. Die chinesische Küche ist ohne natürliche Geschmacksverstärker kaum zu realisieren und es schmeckt einfach hervorragend. Auch konnte die angebliche körperliche Überreaktion auf Geschmacksverstärker in Chinarestaurants nicht wissenschaftlich belegt werden, daher vermutet man mittlerweile dass den Gästen von der ungewohnten Würzung schwindelig wird. Wenn ich ein Chilli Con Carne mache ist danach auch allen schwindelig obwohl kein einziger unnatürlicher Geschmacksverstärker enthalten ist... lediglich reife Tomaten und extrem viel Paprika Pulver.

Das Ente war gut, aber viel zu teuer. Ebenso die anderen Hauptgerichte. Ich verstehe, dass alles teurer wird, aber bei über 22 Euro sollte das Essen auch dementsprechend gut sein. Preis Leistung haben für mich hier nicht gestimmt. Positiv zu erwähnen ist allerdings das sehr freundliche Personal!

Ich habe dieses Restaurant auf meiner Durchreise spontan probiert. Alles in allem eine solide Erfahrung, aber leider nicht mehr. Anbei meine Detailbewertung. Ambiente/ Einrichtung: Klassisch eingerichtetes Restaurant, wie aus den 90er/2000ern. Aber funktional und sauber. 3 Sterne Service: Empfang ging so, Kellner hingegen sehr freundlich. Aus meiner großen Cola Zero wurde leider eine kleine Flasche (0,2 Größe), weswegen ich ein zweites Getränk bestellen musste. Ob das Taktik ist, kann nur der Besitzer beantworten. 3 Sterne Essen (Qualität & Geschmack): Qualitativ und geschmacklich gut. Ich hatte Ente mit Erdnusssauce. Dabei sei erwähnt, dass es dann auch wörtlich nur Ente mit Erdnusssauce gab. Kein Gemüse etc. Diesen Aspekt fand ich persönlich schon enttäuschend. 2 Sterne trotz des guten Geschmacks. Essen (Portionsgrösse): In Ordnung. Wurde satt. 3 Sterne. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis: 2 Getränke, eine Suppe, Ente mit Erdnusssauce = 34€. Wahrscheinlich für München ein normaler Preis, aber für mich persönlich dennoch viel zu teuer. Vor allem im Hinblick auf die doch sehr lieblose Ente und auch sonst keine Specials. 1 Stern Sonstiges: Nicht falsch verstehen - ansich hat das Restaurant durchaus Potential. Allerdings steht Preis und Leistung überhaupt nicht im Verhältnis. Auch in München wäre es kein Halsbruch gewesen, ein bisschen Gemüse oder so beizufügen. Wir sind in 5 Kategorien bei 12 Gesamtpunkten rausgekommen. Dies entspricht einem Schnitt von 2,4 Sternen. Da leider keine halben Sterne vergeben werden können, runde ich auf 2 ab.

Ein sehr veraltetes Lokal mit absolut überteuerten Preisen. Ente mit Gemüse 23,50€. Portionen sind aber ok und geschmackvoll. Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich der Kellner sehr nett. Mittags waren dort nur alte Leute.
