The food’s OK. The portions are big. I went there on a Saturday for lunch, it was super busy. The tables were SO close to each other I couldn’t eat without dropping stuff on the floor and my elbows on the other table. The prices are average. The service was kinda slow. Since there are lots of people, it takes some time to order and pay. However, after we ordered the food was delivered quickly. There was water on the ground in the bathroom. Other than that, it was clean.

Rubbish service, very bad attitude, business is good because your opponent is weak, not because you are awesome. The restaurants in Munich go up and down, so you just keep having fun and look forward to the collapse! come on!

It's not beautiful inside, but the FOOD is!! Incredibly good, incredibly authentic and not so Germanized. What a surprise!

Service was friendly, but my friend had to wait half an hour for his food because they forgot it. What should be noted is that each person gets a sesame ball and a spring roll voucher. Half the star is because of the nice Swabian friends.4.5

I had a sore throat and really wanted to eat Chinese food. I happened to live nearby and found that there were many people in this restaurant every time I passed by, so I went to eat. It's really delicious and not expensive! I ordered a stir-fry for less than 20 euros. The rice seems to be refillable for free. The restaurant staff are super friendly.

A real Chinese Restaurant. Hardly any of the staff speak good German or English, and the walls are covered with art and menus in Chinese. It looks amazing, and is romantic. We had pig ears as a starter, Duck and a pork soup. The food gets served in huge bowls and everyone on the table has his/her own bowl and the whole table shares. We loved it. Great place to eat.

Food good. Service, as a European, unfortunately not good. lots of “locals”, which is always a good sign. Prices are now slightly higher. Sesame balls are probably only available for locals, not for us Germans.

very good service, staff where very kind. The food was very good and nice, you might think it is expensive but the quantity is worth the money. The positioning is nice and for Sundays it is extremely easy to park. It looks like a very cultural Chinese restaurant. They deliver food very fast, and the people who come here to eat were also very kind and welcoming. The staff weren’t only Chinese, so also for non-Chinese people I would highly reccomend.

Amazing Chinese restaurant. Be mindful not to order too much before seeing the portions, they're massive! The food is delicious and truly spicy where noted. Not a large selection of beers but after all that's not the point of the restaurant. We got there at 6pm which apparently is rush hour so we weren't served right away but in the end the staff was very accommodating and provided us with take away boxes.

Magnificent Chinese restaurant. It shows that half of the clients have Asian features. The degree of spiciness of the dishes is clearly indicated on the menu. Also to take home.

The food was very authentic and plentiful. 😄 There were two of us and we ordered two main courses and a starter. In the end we had to literally “squeeze in” the food, there was so much. The location is right on a large street, which makes sitting outside (if you want to sit outside) not all that pleasant, but the food makes up for it. The price-performance ratio is definitely top!

Fast ordering, unfriendly female service. We didn't receive the starter we ordered but it was canceled after the second request. My main course was ordered as "hot", meaning very spicy, but was hardly seasoned at all.

They wrongly charged three extra drinks for two of us, we ordered one drink and three dishes for two people. Then I went outside and my boyfriend went to the reception but he only spoke English, not German or Chinese, then I went inside and saw the receipt with three extra drinks, totalling the number to 4. I was very shocked and they gave us a refund of the overcharge. I don't know how an experienced restaurant would make such a mistake like that if I assume it is not intentional. I'm still emotionally hurt by it I once recommended and brought my friends there. It was meant to be a nice memory but no more.

Please don't put hot food in foam container. The hot oil touch the foam and it got melt ,so I ended up have to throw food away as it might cause cancer. I understand that restaurant is very busy but watch out for this. Last time I also got a wrong order while I get take away

It's best to come at the beginning of the opening time, when there isn't much going on or there are fewer guests. It's worth it. The food was prepared VERY quickly and freshly. 😊 Very intense spices. Good for people who like to eat spicy food. You have to tolerate a lot of oil well. Sorry for the image quality. I was really hungry and was able to put a lot of effort into taking photos 😅 So for Munich you have a very good price-performance ratio 😃 and it's best for 4-5 people to eat together so you can try more dishes! P.S.: Rice is free 😉

Very bad experience!! 🤢We ordered takeaway. After the food was ready, no one notified us. After a long wait, we had to go to the counter ourselves and ask. They had even forgotten that there was a take-out order... What was even worse was that the beef we ordered tasted completely like lamb❗Apparently they didn't clean the pans after frying lamb, so the taste of the lamb was completely in our court passed over. Terrible🤢. Furthermore, the other dishes were very, very greasy, inedible and not authentic at all! We won't be coming back😨🫠

Very good authentic Chinese price-performance ratio

I had dinner two days in a row. There are things like sweet and sour pork, and an acquaintance who went with me raved about how delicious the steamed malatang was. It costs 2 euros and comes with a generous portion of rice. They also provide glutinous rice donuts as a service on Friday evenings. It's a very good restaurant.

Food in good portions, tastes quite good - especially the authentic dishes. Price-performance ratio for Munich is top. Shabby atmosphere, but you come for the food Service is rather slow, but it works.

The worst organization I have ever seen in my life. We waited in line as two people for half an hour, they took the next 3 people to the 2-person table that was vacant inside, and one of them was standing waiting for a chair. They told us to wait another half hour. It was incredible. We left without eating.

We just went without any expectation but to taste Chinese cuisine. There was no seating place available, which led to assumptions that the place was the good choice. The food was excellent, and we were given sesame balls as free dessert. Service was also great. The seating arrangement was congested and therefore was not so comfortable but the taste of the food will make us forget.

You are so unfriendly. We politely ask if we can buy water and the lady replies dismissively. She offers a bottle of water for €5.50, so my friend asks if she has a smaller one, and the lady allows herself to make an "ouste" with her hand in farewell. I have never experienced such miserable service in my life.

This is a restaurant that serves really delicious Chinese food. China and Germany are on the other side of the world, so how can the standard of Chinese food be higher than that of Korea right next door? The portions were so large that even though we ordered one menu per person, we almost couldn't eat it all.

The worst service I have ever experienced. I was alone and when I arrived there were a lot of tables inside and outside. Still, I got a seat at a dirty counter between two strangers. The space was so tight that I was constantly elbowed (unintentionally) by the others. I left without ordering. Subterranean unfriendly service.

One of them is the boss's wife (?) The attitude is very bad. I dare not compliment (but others are very nice!) Ask if there is any drink so we can look at the menu ourselves. We just don't understand German so we have to ask. So the meal is like this == I am very disappointed.

My girlfriend and I love it here. Price performance is unbeatable in Munich. We get on very well with the nice family that runs the shop. I wish that the two European ladies employed were a little nicer. But that's left out. I can only warmly recommend Yanyou. The takeaway service is also very quick (wait about 10 minutes). A dingy pub with terrible service. May 6th, 2024, it's pouring rain. My brother and I went to dinner. The restaurant was half empty. The waitress screamed like a madwoman because I had placed my purse on a chair next to me even though, I repeat, the restaurant was half empty. She said there could be more guests coming and that we had spread ourselves too thin. By the way, for some reason they sat us shoulder to shoulder next to two girls and we left the restaurant without ordering anything. The staff speaks as if slaves had come to them. If you expect good service, you've definitely come to the wrong place!

The food there is really very tasty and very authentic! We always only order take-away there, as there is rarely a free space there without a reservation (very busy + very small restaurant). The “Pho Bo” soup is an absolute dream (the correct name on the menu is a bit too long and confusing for me 😂 sorry about that). Price-performance is also great! Baked duck with various sauces is also super tasty. However, we haven't dared to try the "non-German dishes" yet... a sample plate with all sorts of things would be great 😀

This is one of the few restaurants in Munich where you can get authentic Chinese food. The options are many and everything really delicious! The service also very good. However be prepared, because they have put tables in every single inch of the restaurant and there is no space left. A small restaurant gets full of too many people and gets too noisy. Not the place to enjoy a relaxed dinner.

I agree with these people as the food is very much authentic with reasonable price considering this is Munich we are talking about. We ordered sweet and sour pork, fried noodles, and the steamed fish with green tea as our drink (The plain rice is free, just ask for it). The fried noodle was your typical fried noodle. Sweet and sour pork was amazing!The fish is probably the highlight of the dinner, it was just amazing! I recommend you to try their steamed fish. There were two things that flagged me when dining here. The first thing was that, I ate here during chinese new year’s eve and was just eating with one of my friend so it was just the two of us. We were placed in a small table just enough for two people, we ate as soon as most of our food arrived and this was fine until they asked us to move to another table because they wanted to connect our table with the tables beside our table because there was a reservation for 13 people and they needed an extra table (mind you I also reserved a table already before hand). So we had to move all of our things and food in the middle of us eating which was quite uncomfortable for us. The second thing is about our steamed fish. It took a while for our steamed fish to come out and I asked about how much longer should we wait for it to come out. The waitress said something like “We are busy in the kitchen, just eat first what is already on the table and if it comes out too late you can just take the fish to eat at home”. This was somewhat weird for us… we wanted to eat in the restaurant, that is why we reserved a table and the waitress is asking us to just take it home? Although… yes we ended up getting our steamed fish to eat in the restaurant after asking for it a couple more times. But yes, that was my experience dining in Yan You during Chinese new year. The other times where I have dined here nothing like this happens and everything is always amazing! Will always be my go-to Chinese restaurant in Munich and would recommend it to all people looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant in Munich.

I stayed in Munich for three days and ate in this restaurant for two days! The portion is super large, the price is affordable, and most importantly, it’s delicious! Authentic Sichuan cuisine~ It was always full both times I went there, and the waiters were very enthusiastic! I highly recommend the cold tripe and sausage, and the stir-fried green beans are also delicious! (The fried egg in the beef noodles was specially added to me by the boss when he knew it was my birthday~)

I haven't eaten such terrible food in a long time! Tom Yum soup with pieces of “crab sticks”, glass-plastic-tasting shrimp, undercooked vegetables of unknown origin. We ordered noodles with Peking duck. They brought a huge portion, it looked beautiful, but the taste was (the same thing that came to your mind when you expressed yourself). Terrible overcooked duck, cut with veins and bones. Terrible taste and smell that does not cause appetite. Noodles... well, it would seem, how can you ruin noodles?! But they succeeded. With the same smell of an old kitchen, half-raw meat and overcooking. In general, I wouldn’t go a second time, not only for free, but even if they paid me! I don’t even remember when I ate such bad-smelling, tasteless food. It’s a pity not even for the wasted 50 euros, but for the ruined evening and unmet expectations. We walked past the restaurant for two days and saw the whole time it was completely seated. From now on, we will no longer fall for this. I don’t know where the people are from, perhaps because of the proximity of the U-Bahn exit there is such traffic... The food is terrible!

This place is actually so unbelievable, not just the food but the people. A lot of people might think China has the best chinese food, but i will say it with all my heart, this is not only the best food in Germany, but even the whole world!!! So if anyone ever come to Munich, I will highly recommend this place!!

The food was great. Even though one dish with chicken was a bit oily. But when we told this to the chef and she just gave us a discount on that dish!! This definitely deserves 5 stars in the service. They regularly charge a few euros too much when picking up food. Sometimes it's 5-7 euros, sometimes 1-2. At least that's been the case for me a few times now. Either they can't do math or it's a system and they cheat regularly... Hoping no one notices... Of course you won't get an invoice either. It's a shame about the great food, but that's just not possible.

We ordered, fried prawns, beef with beans and roasted duck. The prawns and beef dishes were really good. We got a complimentary sweet dish as well which was really nice as well.
