Bei meinem erneuten Besuch in München war für mich sofort klar, dass ich wieder im Yanyou essen gehen werde. Da ich alleine unterwegs war, verlief alles völlig unkompliziert – ich habe direkt einen Platz bekommen und wurde wie immer herzlich empfangen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und hat meine Erwartungen erneut erfüllt. Die Speisen waren frisch, geschmackvoll und von gewohnt hoher Qualität. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgte für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht – ganz im Gegenteil. Es war wieder ein rundum gelungener Besuch. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team, ich komme bei meinem nächsten München-Aufenthalt gerne wieder vorbei! Bis zum nächsten Mal! 😊🍜🥢

Preis Leistung Hammer!! Ich war zwar noch nie in China. Aber schon in vielen anderen Asiatischen Ländern und habe paar chinesiche Bekannte war mit denen schon chienesisch essen. Ich wage mich zu sagen es schmeckt sehr authentisch hier! Ich fands auf jedenfall sehr lecker. Auch die Portionen für den Preis wirklich gut. Das Restaurant ist auch immer gut besucht! Es gibt auch Gerichte die etwas auswegewöhnlicher sind im vergleich zur deutschen Küche. Wenn man mal was anderes probieren will.

Wir gehen schon seit vielen Jahren ins YanYou und sind immer wieder zufrieden. Das Essen ist authentisch, sehr lecker und die Portionen großzügig – bisher sind wir jedes Mal mehr als satt geworden. Auch preislich ist das Restaurant absolut fair. Der Service ist freundlich und arbeitet schnell, selbst wenn viel los ist. Zu Stoßzeiten kann es vorkommen, dass man kurz auf einen Tisch warten muss, aber das spricht eher für die Beliebtheit des Lokals. Insgesamt können wir das YanYou definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Da wir in der Gegend wohnen, waren wir schon öfter in diesem Restaurant und genießen es immer wieder für einen schnellen Imbiss. Es ist sehr beliebt und immer gut besucht, daher ist eine Reservierung unbedingt erforderlich. Als Vegetarierin kann ich die Fleisch- und Fischgerichte nicht beurteilen, aber das Restaurant bietet eine große Auswahl für Veganer und Vegetarier. Das Essen ist gut und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind angesichts der Portionsgrößen recht angemessen, obwohl ich einige Gerichte etwas zu ölig fand. Allerdings ist es drinnen sehr eng, und es herrscht ein anhaltender Geruch, der mitunter unangenehm sein kann. Das Restaurant sollte sich dieses Problems annehmen und die Belüftung verbessern.

Besonders gut haben mir die Auberginen, das gebratene Hähnchen und der geflochtene Schweinebauch geschmeckt.

Authentisch, lecker, beliebt, mit exzellentem Service und charmantem Ambiente – es ist wohl eines der besten chinesischen Restaurants in München.

Perfektes Essen, wunderbares Personal.

Tolle authentische Erfahrung. Das Restaurant war voll gepackt am Samstag Abend- wir hatten zum Glück Reservierung, aber auch ohne ging es relativ schnell. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker mit Riesen Auswahl. Vor allem hier werden Gerichte serviert die man sonst nirgendwo findet- Darm, Ohren etc.Mein man war begeistert. Es gibt natürlich auch „Westliche“ Gerichte für die, die klassisch europäisch -chinesisch essen möchten. Preis Leistung ist super- Riesen Portionen. Viele Chinesen, die da essen- immer ein tolles Zeichen. Man fühlt sich wirklich wie in China. Klare Empfehlung!

Das beste chinesische Restaurant in München…

Die Gerichte waren absolut köstlich, und wir haben jeden Bissen genossen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Es ist ein toller Ort für ein Date, denn es bietet eine sehr angenehme und gemütliche Atmosphäre, in der man sowohl das Essen als auch nette Gespräche genießen kann. Kleine Gruppen finden in der Regel ohne lange Wartezeit einen Tisch. Für größere Gruppen empfehle ich jedoch dringend, im Voraus zu reservieren, um einen reibungslosen und angenehmen Aufenthalt zu gewährleisten.

Das Essen war okay, der Service aber furchtbar. Ich betrat heute ein nur halb gefülltes Restaurant, und die Kellnerin weigerte sich, mich zu platzieren, mit der Begründung, dass bis 18:30 Uhr nur mit Reservierung gegessen werden könne. Diese Regel ist weder auf der Website noch am Eingang vermerkt.

Was für ein wundervolles, kleines und authentisch wirkendes Lokal! Das Personal ist freundlich, das Essen FANTASTISCH und wird blitzschnell serviert. Wir haben es spontan ausprobiert und waren total begeistert. Absolut empfehlenswert!! P.S.: Nach dem Essen gibt es gratis frittierte Sesambällchen. Sie sehen vielleicht etwas schwer und matschig aus, aber meine Güte … das sind sie nicht! Sie sind leicht, fluffig und einfach köstlich!!!

Der Besitzer war sehr gastfreundlich und das Essen war sehr frisch.

Wir haben uns quer durch die Karte bestellt. Es war sehr lecker und für unser empfinden sehr authentisch. Die Anzahl an Asiaten vor Ort als Gäste bestätigt dies wohl auch. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Unglaublich lecker! Es war ein bisschen zu eng gegen 19 Uhr, aber auch aus einem guten Grund— das Restaurant ist immer voll von Genießern der äh Asiatischen Küche

Unbedingt reservieren, wenn man im Restaurant essen möchte. Sehr schönes chinesisches Restaurant mit köstlichem Essen und großzügigen Portionen! Preiswerte und herzhafte chinesische Küche; meine Favoriten sind das Rindfleisch in Scheiben und Kutteln in Chilisauce sowie der scharfe Eintopf.

Hier wird man direkt in die suburbs Pekings gebeamt, chinesische Hausmannskost, teils deftig, große Portionen, sehr gute Qualität, sehr beliebt bei Münchens Chinesen, super Essen zu guten Preisen, Empfehlenswert!

Sehr authentischer Restaurant, Essen schmeckt mega - aber Portionsgröße ist riesig, was einen mega guten Preis Leistung Verhältnis ausmacht. Abends sehr laut, und echt echt eng, dafür 4 Sterne. Jasmintee sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Portionen sind großzügig, der Geschmack hervorragend und man kann so viel Reis nachbestellen, wie man möchte. Es ist schwer, ein so aufmerksames chinesisches Restaurant zu finden. Der Besitzer ist super nett!

Authentisch - Aber nicht für jedermann! In diesem Lokal bekommt man chinesisches Essen so, wie man es in China vorfinden würde. Für den normalen Europäer heißt dies, dass auf der Karte Allerlei Dinge zu finden sind die man in anderen Restaurants vergebens suchen wird, wie z.B. Schweinedarm, Kutteln oder Schweinefüße. Die Karte besteht zudem zum großen Teil aus Menüs mit mittlerem bis fortgeschrittenem Schärfegrad, eben so wie es in China der Fall wäre. Wer daher ein wirklich authentisches chinesisches Restaurant sucht wird im Yan You seinen Meister finden. Wer aber eher auf asiatisches Essen aus ist, dass dem europäischen Gaumen angepasst wurde, wird hier eventuell nicht glücklich.

Dieser Ort ist wie ein zweites zu Hause für mich. Geniales Essen, keine lange Wartezeit und nettes Personal. Habe vieles auf der Karte probiert und kann wirklich eigentlich alles empfehlen! C63 ist mein persönlicher Favorit

Super Essen! Ich empfehle den Fisch in Chiliöl. Das Essen kam schnell, und es gab auch keine Nachfrage, ob man reservieren müsse. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Einfaches, authentisches und leckeres Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre mit sehr freundlichem Service macht den Restaurantbesuch zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis. Die Gerichte sind sehr schmackhaft, auch wenn sie teilweise recht fettig sind. Wir hatten die Ente mit gebratenen Nudeln, die sehr gut war. Die Ente war allerdings nicht ganz so knusprig, wie ich erwartet hatte. Die Nudelsuppe mit Garnelen war ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Frühlingsrollen waren in Ordnung und die Teigtaschen lecker. Das Mango-Orangen-Hausgetränk hat uns hingegen gar nicht geschmeckt. Das Highlight unseres Besuchs war neben dem guten Essen der überaus freundliche Service. Dieses Restaurant für authentische chinesische Küche ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant (chinesisch) in München, ohne Zweifel. Faire Preise, unglaublich leckeres Essen, schneller Service und ein sehr netter Inhaber. Die Limos sind auf der vorletzten Seite der Speisekarte versteckt. Unbedingt probieren! Und unbedingt Platz für die leckeren, frittierten Sesamkugeln lassen, die als kostenloses Dessert serviert werden. Und keine Sorge, falls Sie nicht alles schaffen. Es ist üblich, die Reste mitzunehmen.

Die Portionen sind recht groß und die Würzung genau richtig. Der Service ist super schnell und der Besitzer sehr freundlich. Ich empfehle das gewürfelte Hähnchen mit Chili und das geschmorte Schweinefleisch dem Lamm mit Kreuzkümmel vorzuziehen. Wenn möglich, reservieren Sie vorher, da das Restaurant schnell voll wird.

Seit meinem letzten Besuch vor anderthalb Jahren hat sich der Geschmack verändert. Wir bestellten drei Gerichte: Grüne Paprika mit Tigerhaut – die Portion war großzügig, aber die Würzung war unzureichend und das Essen zu ölig; Geschmorter Schweinebauch – die Würzung war in Ordnung, aber das Fleisch war nicht zart genug und man musste lange kauen; Knusprige Schweinedärme – knusprig genug, aber leider sehr fad 🥹 – es fühlte sich an, als würde man auf knuspriger Haut und fettigem Fleisch kauen. Der Service war allerdings gut. Da ich Yanyou vorher sehr positiv erlebt hatte und die grünen Paprika mit Tigerhaut für mich und meine Freunde ein absolutes Muss waren, war ich etwas enttäuscht, dass sich der Geschmack verändert hatte.

Wir bestellten scharf gebratenes Hähnchen mit getrockneten Chilischoten und eine Mischung aus Schweinekutteln und Chili. Dazu gab es eine Schüssel gedämpften Reis – man konnte sich so viel nehmen, wie man wollte, genau wie in China. Die Portionen waren groß, heiß und köstlich. Wir sind pappsatt. Wir haben uns nett mit der Besitzerin unterhalten. Gutes, leckeres und authentisches chinesisches Essen. Und nur 8 Gehminuten vom Holiday Inn Westpark entfernt.

Great Chinese Restaurant, with authentic food (some you wont find on regular chinese restaurants menu's) specials are presented in chinese language. Great value for Money. Highly frequented by the chinese community, thus, a really good spot to go!

Best Chinese restaurant in Munich

Really good restaurant! The staff is polite and skilled. After ordering you don't need to wait long to see dishes coming to you :) And they give you a lot of to eat for a fair price! The only issue is that the restaurant is always crowed and you need to book a table. Otherwise, you have no chance get a seat. In addition, it is limited to ~1 hour only - at least when I was there. But I would definitively recommend it, especially the duck! Super tasty ;)

Great Taste of chinese food. A reservation is recommended.

The food was authentic and delicious, the portions were generous, and the rice was fragrant. We ordered three dishes to take away, and it was still enough for a meal. The price was reasonable, and the restaurant was always packed with customers, so there was a wait. The owner was very welcoming, and the restaurant had a strong Chinese atmosphere.

Unfortunately, we were so harassed today because we were waiting for a fifth person who was due to arrive that we left within 30 minutes – even though we had made a reservation and indicated that another person would be joining us. The waitress was bothered that we were "wasting" the space because people were waiting outside for a table, and she harassed us about it five times, even trying to seat people at our already full table – so we left.

Yan You is one of the a top-tier Chinese spot in Munich. The atmosphere is unpretentious yet vibrant with lots of Chinese locals, which is always a great sign. The food deserves the full five stars with every dish we sampled was bold, fresh and satisfying. The flavours genuinely reflect Sichuan tradition, not dumbed-down for Western palates. The generous portions are huge enough that you may end up taking quite a bit home if you order liberally. The value is also exceptional, especially given Munich pricing. Service was friendly and efficient, even when the place got busy, and the team were happy to help with recommendations. Yes, it gets lively and the décor is simple, but in this case it adds to the charm. What matters most is the kitchen delivering.

The food was good, and so was the service, but they seemed very stressed due to the enormous number of guests. Reservations are essential, as you'll still have to wait. Despite having a reservation, we waited 15 minutes. Without a reservation, the wait is quite long, which was unpleasant for us as we were already eating. The waiting customers were all around us, and since the line extended outside, the entrance door was frequently open. Very uncomfortable.

The owner is very friendly, speaks politely, and provides excellent service. The food tastes great, and most importantly, the prices are reasonable. Although the seating is a bit cramped, the overall experience is very good.

Be careful, this restaurant is only interested in profit. After calling to ask if there's a seat available in 10 minutes, they assure you there are plenty. When they get there, the restaurant is packed to the last seat, including a line out the door. So, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. Perhaps Chinese people are simply given priority over Germans?

It's busy, it's noisy, smell of wok and steam fills the air but that's what you come here for. The food is delicious and authentic. You know the food is good when the people from the same culture indulge in it. This is a great place to satisfy the spicy Sichuan palate .

I'm always looking for Chinese food 😆 Yanyu is truly a savior for Asian stomachs 🥹 Taiwanese people would definitely enjoy this place~~~ Recommendations: • Beef in Sour Soup: Add vegetables and tofu to it and it's instantly a hot pot~ It's super oil-free! 😍 • Eggplant with Fish Flavor: So fragrant and irresistible, so delicious I want to sing~ • Braised Pork: I personally think it's just average, but everyone loves it! • Boiled Beef: Excellent, but a bit on the oily side~ The portions are really huge, so I often take half home and then pack it back, and still have room for another meal. It's such a steal 😆 Overall, I love Yanyu~~😍😍😍 Ah, the complimentary sesame balls are so delicious too~~~

I ordered the steamed sea bass, the seafood tofu pot, and pork slices in spicy Sichuan sauce with soft tofu – everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only downside: the environment was a bit too noisy. But for a Chinese restaurant, it's absolutely recommended.

I called ahead to have them cook first. Because of the train delay, I went there very late. It was almost time for them to get off work, which was embarrassing. I didn't expect the people there to be so friendly and nice. The boss also gave us a lot of things to eat slowly. It was so heartwarming! ! I had a great time eating there. 🥳 I packed up the leftovers and took them away. They were still delicious the next day. 😋 Highly recommended.

Don't go there. I went there after reading Xiaohongshu. It was totally inedible. Most of the dishes were pre-made and tasted terrible.

Yes, very nice and well-maintained. The service was not good. I wanted my mobile phone for security reasons because the card didn't work and I wanted to give my passport, but the boss didn't want that even though I had my entire bag and ID with me. I did that and drove away, got some cash and came back and took photos of the place. Then the waitress came and said she was in the photos and I said I had rights and she could see the photos and there was no one in them, but she didn't want that. I find that very discriminatory. He still gave me a tip.

I've been here several times and tried the sour beans and minced meat, fish-flavored pork shreds, and chicken with pork intestines. They were all pretty good, but the spicy chicken was really bad. The batter was too thick and I didn't get much meat.

A superb restaurant with truly exotic dishes for Europeans that you won't find in "normal" Chinese restaurants. Small, crowded, noisy – simply a great atmosphere!

This is my third time here. The previous experience was okay, but today I clearly experienced the different treatment of European and Chinese guests. I ordered a homemade tofu and potato beef brisket. The tofu was too hard and the beef brisket had a strong pre-made taste. Even the classic sesame balls they gave at the end were extremely small. It was obviously a failed defective product. I will avoid this restaurant in the future.

We sat outside, just the two of us. It was a "normal" atmosphere. The food came very quickly, was delicious, and you could contact the waitress at any time to discuss any additional requests. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely wonderful. The quantity and quality of the food was worth it. With such good quantity the prices were economical.

A few dishes were actually authentic, identical to the taste in China. But some had German ingredients in them, even going as far as to add Ketchup to the pork ribs. We were there with 4 people and we all agreed on the beef with spring onion being the best dish (3rd in the picture). We also all agreed on the pork ribs being the least delicious dish of our selection. The dish in the dark grey pan was not in the list, but on a board outside the restaurant, written only in Chinese. That was the most authentic one, but there were mixed feelings among the Germans in our group. The service was busy (Saturday evening), no VIP feeling, no extra wishes, and we had to call for them or they wouldn't come to our table. What I liked was the 50/50 ratio of German and Chinese visitors, showing that the dishes are enjoyed by both cultures, which is rare to see here.

Great restaurant with delicious traditional Chinese dishes. I've been coming here regularly for three years now and have always been impressed.

The sauerkraut pork intestine rice noodles and the stir-fried beef with green onions were both delicious, the service was good, and they also gave me sesame balls for takeout. I haven’t eaten such crispy sesame balls on the outside and chewy on the inside for years, and I enjoyed it so much.

Eating outdoors was the best part. We were sitting in shade and the weather was beautiful. The food was bland, and after the third time asking for soy sauce and chili sauce, we finally received it. We saw others were served before us. They were served their appetizers first then their soup. Of course, everything for us came out backwards. Would I recommend this place again? Absolutely not as a first time visitor. I was incredibly disappointed.

When we first arrived, they brought us napkins on the table, and they already had aperitif 😅live brown. I don't recommend eating in a place with cockroaches 🙃

My favourite place. Now I have a serious mapu tofu addiction. The vegetarian version. I don‘t regularly eat out but if I don’t eat their food every couple of weeks, I get sad. It’s the ultimate comfort food. Everyone working there is also genuinely nice.

This place was terrible! I ordered dumplings which were over cooked and falling apart. And the crispy chicken was not crispy at all, it was all soggy and cold. So bad

Very authentic Sichuan Chinese food! While not every dish was a standout, the overall quality was very good and true to traditional flavors. One thing to note: the portion sizes are huge compared to most other Chinese restaurants—so be mindful when ordering! We ended up taking home more than half of what we ordered. We tried to reserve a table in advance, but were told to just come by. When we arrived around 8:30 PM, the place was packed, but we still managed to get a table after just a few minutes of waiting. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit.
