The finest taste! Authentic Chinese cuisine, lots of Chinese guests—that says a lot, in my opinion. Super friendly service, a little extra on the house, and much more!

Don't go there. I went there after reading Xiaohongshu. It was totally inedible. Most of the dishes were pre-made and tasted terrible.

Yes, very nice and well-maintained. The service was not good. I wanted my mobile phone for security reasons because the card didn't work and I wanted to give my passport, but the boss didn't want that even though I had my entire bag and ID with me. I did that and drove away, got some cash and came back and took photos of the place. Then the waitress came and said she was in the photos and I said I had rights and she could see the photos and there was no one in them, but she didn't want that. I find that very discriminatory. He still gave me a tip.

I've been here several times and tried the sour beans and minced meat, fish-flavored pork shreds, and chicken with pork intestines. They were all pretty good, but the spicy chicken was really bad. The batter was too thick and I didn't get much meat.

A superb restaurant with truly exotic dishes for Europeans that you won't find in "normal" Chinese restaurants. Small, crowded, noisy – simply a great atmosphere!

This is my third time here. The previous experience was okay, but today I clearly experienced the different treatment of European and Chinese guests. I ordered a homemade tofu and potato beef brisket. The tofu was too hard and the beef brisket had a strong pre-made taste. Even the classic sesame balls they gave at the end were extremely small. It was obviously a failed defective product. I will avoid this restaurant in the future.

We sat outside, just the two of us. It was a "normal" atmosphere. The food came very quickly, was delicious, and you could contact the waitress at any time to discuss any additional requests. Keep up the good work.

A few dishes were actually authentic, identical to the taste in China. But some had German ingredients in them, even going as far as to add Ketchup to the pork ribs. We were there with 4 people and we all agreed on the beef with spring onion being the best dish (3rd in the picture). We also all agreed on the pork ribs being the least delicious dish of our selection. The dish in the dark grey pan was not in the list, but on a board outside the restaurant, written only in Chinese. That was the most authentic one, but there were mixed feelings among the Germans in our group. The service was busy (Saturday evening), no VIP feeling, no extra wishes, and we had to call for them or they wouldn't come to our table. What I liked was the 50/50 ratio of German and Chinese visitors, showing that the dishes are enjoyed by both cultures, which is rare to see here.

The sauerkraut pork intestine rice noodles and the stir-fried beef with green onions were both delicious, the service was good, and they also gave me sesame balls for takeout. I haven’t eaten such crispy sesame balls on the outside and chewy on the inside for years, and I enjoyed it so much.

Eating outdoors was the best part. We were sitting in shade and the weather was beautiful. The food was bland, and after the third time asking for soy sauce and chili sauce, we finally received it. We saw others were served before us. They were served their appetizers first then their soup. Of course, everything for us came out backwards. Would I recommend this place again? Absolutely not as a first time visitor. I was incredibly disappointed.

When we first arrived, they brought us napkins on the table, and they already had aperitif 😅live brown. I don't recommend eating in a place with cockroaches 🙃

My favourite place. Now I have a serious mapu tofu addiction. The vegetarian version. I don‘t regularly eat out but if I don’t eat their food every couple of weeks, I get sad. It’s the ultimate comfort food. Everyone working there is also genuinely nice.

Very authentic Sichuan Chinese food! While not every dish was a standout, the overall quality was very good and true to traditional flavors. One thing to note: the portion sizes are huge compared to most other Chinese restaurants—so be mindful when ordering! We ended up taking home more than half of what we ordered. We tried to reserve a table in advance, but were told to just come by. When we arrived around 8:30 PM, the place was packed, but we still managed to get a table after just a few minutes of waiting. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit.

Super delicious, authentic Chinese food! 🥰 We had pork with morels, beef with cucumber salad, as well as sesame balls and spring rolls. Everything tasted perfect! Service was also excellent, even though it was very busy! :)

For me, this is truly the best authentic Chinese restaurant in Munich. It's always a good sign when 90% of the customers are Chinese. I try to go there regularly. The food is delicious. The staff are friendly, welcoming, helpful, and quick. The value for money is unbeatable. During peak times, there can be a wait, but it's absolutely worth it.

This restaurant is overrated. The food was okay. We ordered crispy pork colon, cold beef tripe salad and crispy chicken in chili sauce. The pork colon and beef tripe were generally nice. The crispy chicken with chili sauce got mushy very quickly. The change of texture released too much oil from the chicken batter to the sauce and made the dish unpleasant. The rice was well cooked. The free dessert was on point. Overall it's not bad but everything combined was too oily for us. The service was outstanding. The caucasian server helped us select the dish in a friendly manner. The Chinese aunty offered us a container to take home immediately when noticing that we couldn't finish the food . Very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was good until we had to pay at the cashier. While walking from the bar seating area to the cashier, I noticed a strong smell. It smelled like roaches. Although I didn't see any of them, I would suggest the restaurant to find out what that strong smell is and handle it. It made me dizzy after eating.

I ordered Poached Beef C55 last week and shortly after I went home I had an unbelievable stomach ache and then diarrhea. So the food was cheap, but from a health perspective I won't go there again. I have no idea whether the oil is even fresh or was reused from yesterday or the day before. The service from two Chinese waitresses was incredibly poor, so whether I would just leave without paying or do it to her. Never again!

Daechang fried food is crazy delicious

I had high expectations since there were many Chinese people. The food ( fish, meat and vegetables) is really tasteless and full of oil. Portions are big but there better Chinese restaurants in Munich.

Surprisingly delicious, large quantity, good price, and good service I remember eating at a restaurant with the same name in Berlin many years ago. I don’t know if it’s the same restaurant. The fish-flavored eggplant is a bit sweet, but the fresh pepper hoof flower and fatty fish intestine are delicious I originally wanted to have another meal, but it’s a pity that it’s only open in the evening.

The review is a little biased. My companions knew the restaurant owner, so our service might have been better because of it. Overall food was authentic, served very fast even though we ordered 8 dishes all were served within 15 min or so. Cant say anything towards value or price since my companions treated me. The food in general was on the spicier side it was mildly spicy for me but I think it might be too spicy for people that arent used to chilly and pepper heavy food. There is nothing I could have criticized at all my experience was flawless from service to atmosphere to the food itself. NOTE There might be a slight language barrier but some waiters are not chinese so speaking english or german to them is easy.

Authentic Chinese food, nice location but quite crowded, the hostess constantly makes sure that the number of people corresponds to the seats they occupy. But that's not a bad thing, it reminds me of a Chinese comedy film. As a gift from the restaurant you get rice dough balls filled with sweet beans, covered with sesame seeds and fried.

The food was truly some of the best Chinese food we have had. Super flavorful, visually very appealing and large portions. We also got a small dessert for free to try.

Nowadays, a dish in a Chinese restaurant often costs 19 euros, but their restaurant still maintains the tradition of moderate prices and large portions, and the taste is good. I like the eggplant box, roasted beef with green onions and crispy large intestine.

It was very tasty and the portions were huge. I remember our first date here, it was the Chinese Lantern Festival and we were eating soup dumplings. The Lantern Festival symbolizes reunion and beauty. It's a fate. Highly recommended is Spicy Duck Blood with Vegetables, called Mao Xue Wang in Chinese, my favorite!

Very friendly people who take care of your needs with a smile. The dishes are authentic, tasty and rich. The sweet and sour ribs are tender and the sauce was nice and sweet and sour. Our vegetarian really liked the scrambled eggs with tomato and it was a large portion. The udon tempura was delicious and the noodles were nice and thick and slurpable as they should be. We were in Munich for three days and ate here every day, full and satisfied, even our 8 year old. If we come back to Munich we will definitely eat here again.

We were going to Bodensee from Austria and stopped in Munich on the way. After eating schnitzel for many days, we found a Chinese restaurant. I came here specially from Nuremberg to eat there. I ate there once a year ago. The food was very generous and tasted very good. The main reason was that the price was affordable, much more affordable than the Chinese restaurants in Nuremberg. I highly recommend the Sichuan cuisine in the store. The chef is from Nanchong, Sichuan. As a Sichuanese, I feel that the taste is very authentic. The picture is of boiled pork slices with tofu curd (that should be the name). Based on my experience, I blindly estimate that pork tenderloin is one pound, and tender tofu is seven to one pound. I won’t analyze the details of seasoning and pickling. In short, it is very delicious. Come to Munich Must check in, but unfortunately I was in a hurry today and didn’t finish the meal
