Good buffet restaurant. Friendly staff. Food was tasty.

We've been there many times, and the food tastes good for an all-you-can-eat meal. We mostly only eat fish there anyway, so it's not a big deal for us, but unfortunately, there isn't much choice other than what you'd expect from other all-you-can-eat restaurants. Plus, the price includes drinks.

There is very small variety of food. The staff is pushing you to buy drinks so not a very good service and they were looking at us very weirdly. In other Gourmet Tempel (ludwigsburg ) and in all you can eat Buffets in general, barbeque is always included in the price but no, it costed me extra. Thank god i only did one barbeque plate. Im never going to this place ever again.

I went to the all-you-can-eat gourmet restaurant yesterday. After eating scampi, I felt very sick and vomited during the night. This speaks volumes about the lack of freshness or quality of the food. For a restaurant that advertises "fresh fish and seafood," this is absolutely disappointing and poses a health risk. Hygiene and quality don't seem to be taken seriously here. I definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend this visit to anyone.

There were two of us at the lunch buffet. The selection was very small compared to other all-you-can buffets. Only one of us fried the food (1 plate of prawns), but we were charged twice for the BBQ. Two bottles of water cost €10. There was only two types of sushi. And the buffets were almost empty. There were three cakes to choose from for dessert. The salad bar offered everyday items: cucumbers, tomatoes, mozzarella, but unfortunately no artichokes or other vegetables. Fries, chicken nuggets, and so many others - I don't want to list them all - were simply empty. It was just horrible to see the empty serving platters. They looked like leftover plates. The food itself tasted okay, but for the price-performance ratio it was absolutely poor. I had hoped, as I had seen online beforehand that it was "expensive" here, and thought the quality and selection would be top-notch. That's why I'm writing this review, so that people don't get their hopes up too much. I also find the overly good reviews here very questionable. It was my first time there and I'll never go back. The selection was VERY, VERY poor! Absolutely not a fair price-performance ratio.

We went to the lunch buffet at Gourmet Tempel today and, unfortunately, have to say: It was one of the most disappointing restaurant visits in a long time. The food was not only very greasy, but in many cases already significantly cold – completely unacceptable for a buffet at lunchtime (1 p.m.!). Particularly annoying: the warming devices were there, but simply not turned on. For a buffet that's supposed to run until 3 p.m., this is simply a disgrace – both in terms of taste and hygiene. The selection itself was also rather disappointing: A small selection of the same old "standard Chinese dishes" that you can also find frozen at wholesale stores – unfortunately, hardly anything here seemed freshly prepared. The buffet looked as if it had been sitting there untouched for hours; some of the dishes were dried out and presented carelessly. The ambiance also didn't score highly: uninviting from the outside, sparse and lacking in comfort inside. Additionally, it's noticeable that almost every dish contains MSG. While it's clearly stated on small signs, there are practically no alternatives. The result: I went home with a heavy stomach and a feeling of fullness. Anyone who values fresh, warm, and wholesome food should think twice about visiting this place.

We had the evening buffet including drinks for €35.90. One star only because – in my personal opinion – the freshly prepared fish and seafood on offer were very overcooked; they should have been cooked more. Of course, you could have asked them to cook them more, but I didn't want to go to the extra effort. Otherwise, it was really nice; we were there for my father's birthday. ✨The atmosphere is simply GREAT✨ Buffet divided into two rooms. Huge selection. 1. Buffet with fresh ingredients. You choose, the chef prepares it fresh, and it's then brought to your table. 2. Classic buffet with ready-made hot and cold dishes. 3. Self-service bottled drinks straight from the refrigerator – no pump. "Bon appétit" and "Hungry!" 😉 I keep making the same mistake of going to the buffet when I'm not really hungry. - I'm not a big eater, but I love being able to choose freely from several dishes and courses.

The food and selection at this restaurant are quite satisfactory. The dishes are tasty and offer a good variety, so there's something for every taste. The ambiance is similar to that of other Chinese restaurants, creating a pleasant and familiar atmosphere. Overall, a pleasant place to enjoy a meal.

There was a wide selection at the buffet and drinks. Unfortunately, almost all of the food from the Mongolian grill came out burnt and not all of it was properly plated. One of the meat dishes had a mussel in it that wasn't ours.

Gourmet Temple no longer exists, it is now called Restaurant Tao Yuan MP22. There is exactly the same as under the old name, only more expensive

This was the best restaurant we've ever eaten in. Very nice people and a pleasant atmosphere. My little sister loved it 😄

Very bad experience. The Air ventilation was not working all the time, I complained twice to the manager and he said there is nothing they can do, it wasn’t comfortable at all. The food was not filled always, especially the sweets almost empty. The drinks were not cold, also, after many complaints to the manager , he did not do or help with anything. We were 4 people, we ended up paying more than 135 euros. It is my last time going to this restaurant.

I visited the Gourmet Temple in Munich during the week. I got a seat without any problems, which was a welcome change. The buffet selection was okay, but nothing special – I've seen much more variety at other Asian buffets. Unfortunately, some dishes were only lukewarm, and the duck in particular had quite a few bones and gristle – something I'm not used to, and it somewhat spoiled the experience. The staff were friendly, and everything was fine. The drinks were really great, which was a real plus. The ambiance is a bit dated, but there's plenty of space, which is certainly nice, especially during peak times. One thing that was a bit inconvenient: The restaurant and parking lot are quite hidden on the upper floor – a few additional signs would have been really helpful here. Conclusion: It's okay for a quick bite, but if you're looking for better quality and more variety, there are better alternatives in Munich.

The food wasn't any better than from a delivery service. What I found really annoying was that they checked what or how much you ate. I don't know what the point of this was when you're allowed to eat as much as you want. In any case, it made me feel so uncomfortable that I left after two starters.

I just came back from the lunch buffet on a Friday. The name "Gourmet Temple" is totally exaggerated! It's just a functional all-you-can-eat place to fill yourself up. The food lacks flavor, but can be spiced up with the many sauces. The classic baked bananas would be replaced today with baked vanilla pudding. Attached is a photo of the price list. What it doesn't say: if you don't buy a drink, the buffet is more expensive. I paid a €1.10 surcharge for not buying a drink today. I won't be coming again 🤷

We come to this Chinese restaurant regularly – and we're always impressed! The food is delicious – whether it's sushi, seafood, or meat, everything is always fresh and well-prepared. I didn't like it. We went out for dinner in the evening. There were only leftovers (1.5 hours before closing time). Some of the food was already dry and cold. Bowls almost empty. At 35 euros per person, you'd expect a bit more and get it. The selection was very meager.

I visited again after a few years. Unfortunately, the restaurant has declined significantly. There's less choice. Some of the dishes sit on the counter for quite a while. There used to be more staff. It's a shame. But overall, you can definitely give the restaurant a chance.

All-you-can-eat-and-drink for just under €36 is a good price. The selection is very large. From ready-made meals to creating your own dishes, sushi, fruit, and cakes, everything is available. The taste is okay. However, we didn't get the desired wow factor. You can always get drinks from the fridge yourself. The staff are very friendly!

If you want to be disappointed, go here. Nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and sweating. Very little attention is paid to cleanliness. The "fresh" sushi is extremely questionable. The salmon and all the sushi seem very poorly prepared, especially not fresh and already dried out. Grease drips from the slices. Dessert, especially in the freezer, was also extremely dirty. Guests are barely taken into account, and the price is absolutely exorbitant for the quality of the food offered. I recommend that anyone who is convinced by the good star ratings pay even more attention to the bad reviews! As of now, I can't comment on the question of severe food poisoning – update to follow. My stomach can take a lot, but that was really extremely rough.

One of the best restaurants. You choose the dishes and sauces and the chef cooks them for you. An excellent and worthy experience. The staff are very respectful and professional.

We were there for the first time today and according to rumors we had heard it was supposed to be okay, but it wasn't. We paid 70€+ for 2 people which corresponds to zero service. The food had been there for ages. It was dry not seasoned enough too sweet or too sour overall it was just extremely bad and we went home with food poisoning. We will never go there again and do not recommend that anyone ever set foot there.

Pure disaster, once and never again!!! Entire family laid flat after dinner:( Eating healthy is different.

All U can Drink is simply wonderful, drinks often make up a large part of the bill! The food is okay, nothing special in terms of quality! The service is great, everything is cleared away very quickly!

Very tasty buffet with lots of choice

Pure disappointment - nausea and vomiting. I wanted to celebrate my birthday there yesterday. Unfortunately, we got up after about an hour and unfortunately had to pay the full price despite the very bad experience! The cashier even asked why we were leaving. We then said honestly and directly that the food simply didn't taste good. The cashier's response: "They have a new chef...", no apology for the experience or consideration of the price, for 8 people. Just to mention, we were seated at a table that was very unlit. Some of the plates we had put together didn't arrive and the chicken skewers had a sour taste. When we all wanted to spend the evening at home, a friend of mine had to throw up and I'm now sitting on the toilet with diarrhea and a burning stomach. We definitely won't be coming back!

Super tasty food and a really good selection of different things.

It was our first time here and we won't come again. Starting from the chicken skewers, which were sour (spoiled) to brown beef, which was offered at the BBQ, for roasting. The sauces are all super thin, the sushi is dry, way too sweet and not tasty. Our food, which was supposed to be freshly fried, was simply mixed up or not brought at all. When paying we commented on how bad the food was, it was blamed on the new employee. €35.90 is too expensive for this service. Never again!

Food is really very good, much better than the others in the area. It really tastes great and has a good selection. The sushi rice could be a little bit softer, but it still tastes very, very good! :) Ambiance is very nice, only cramped when it gets crowded when walking through to the tables.

The food is standard and incredibly expensive at €37 per person for the buffet. After waiting for at least half an hour, we were told when we asked that it was not possible to order a la carte today due to the high volume of visitors. We would have liked to have received the information in advance. It was extremely crowded, loud and not really clean.

A crowded shop on the outskirts of town. Greedy and overeating people trample their feet to be first in line at the buffet. Plates are falling left and right, you step on food lying on the floor, “Happy Birthday” plays on a continuous loop, there seems to be free food if you celebrate it here. Welcome to the food dystopia. If the food were at least tasty, if the buffet were at least varied, you could get over it. But unfortunately none of this is true and so dinner here turns into real torture. People with social anxiety and a taste for food should definitely stay away! The pale ray of hope at the end: the beer (like all drinks) is included in the flat rate. But 36€ is simply too much, and drinking well doesn't help anymore. No recommendation.

The biggest disaster I've ever experienced. Toilets dirty that you almost have to vomit. Dirty dishes are not cleared away. Pieces of meat are lying somewhere on a cart with dirty buckets on top. The kitchen was only closed with a curtain. You can see underneath how it's crawling with dirt... wanted to eat something there, but immediately turned back. It's unbelievable that they charge such horrible prices for all you can eat... it's about time the health department paid a visit there. Not recommended at all a disaster.

Please just don't eat here, how can something like that have 4 stars... Save yourself the 40 euros or go to a real restaurant. Food inedible, greasy, cold. The food for frying was brought to the table almost raw. Too many tables in a small space, way too loud, you can hardly have a conversation. There was coke in the toilet and there was a used condom on the floor. I couldn't believe my eyes, where did I end up here? Should have read the recessions beforehand, especially the negative ones. Once and never again.

Went there based on an online recommendation, the food is good and prepared quickly. Nice staff, but unfortunately overwhelmed on New Year's Eve, too many people were given the same time slot, so everything was a bit confusing and the general atmosphere wasn't very comfortable and people constantly walked past the first tables.

We were very disappointed with our visit to the Gourmet Temple in Munich. The food was greasy, tasted inedible and even made us sick. The selection was surprisingly small, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely not justified - €40 is far too expensive. I didn't even eat a whole plate and was full afterwards. There must be a lot of additives and preservatives in there. In addition, the restaurant was completely overcrowded, extremely loud and the cleanliness of the toilets left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately no recommendation. But the staff was friendly, at least those who cleared the tables. We won't come back!

All the food is floating in fat. Everything is fried. Guests screaming loudly next to me. 1.5l bottles must be drunk completely. I'm very sad and hope I can sleep today. Only the accompaniment was friendly.

We had an average dining experience here, its about quantity rather quality. The kids love the chocolate fountain but it does not make up for lack of atmosphere. Presentation is ok, but service can‘t hide the traces of mass production and difficulty to clean the scraps and leftovers.
