China Buffet Town Fulda in Fulda

Went here for dinner with 7 people at the end of September for a private celebration. Unfortunately, 3 of us had to deal with stomach pain and diarrhea afterwards, which lasted 3 days each. Too bad!

The food was very tasty, but it wasn't a shame to get crispy duck or chicken and that for a hefty price

A very nice and delicious buffet, the staff were very nice and friendly, I was there last time and I'm looking forward to the next time I eat there, the times are also great, you feel comfortable and welcome.

When you order food, it is delivered by a moving robot, it drives through the restaurant and even plays a birthday song for a birthday child, three times today. Missing food at the buffet could be replenished more quickly.

I was hoping for more choice given the price. Fries were unsalted and for dessert there were only 3 of 7 types of ice cream, the other 4 were empty when the notice said there was nothing empty. I also found it a shame that there was so little Greek frying, in contrast to the buffets I know from Bad Hersfeld and Kassel, there was really very little choice

Just reserved again. The lady at reception was very nice. We've been there several times and what can I say...the food is delicious. If something runs out, it doesn't take long for it to be refilled unless it's towards the end of opening hours. But that's normal. I particularly like that all food and drinks are included in the price of 31.90 (evening) and there are also 2 alcoholic drinks per adult. The selection of food and drinks is also very numerous. We always enjoy coming back.

The lady at reception was very friendly. Some of the food was already cold and many dishes were almost empty. It also took a very long time until it was refilled again. The spring rolls were totally wobbly and anything but crispy. Dishes were labeled incorrectly. Unfortunately, the food that you could have freshly prepared was delivered to the table burnt. With good food and good products, 30 euros per person would have been justified. In this case it was absolutely not worth the money. The service person who was responsible for clearing the tables could have been friendlier. If you don't feel like working in the catering industry, you might want to look for another job.

Paid €63 for 2 people, I think the price/performance ratio is okay. The food was very good and there was a large selection.

Staff at reception extremely unfriendly. One person in the group was asked to stay outside just because he didn't want to eat lunch. Food was very good. Still, it was a one-time visit here and I definitely won't recommend it. At 3 p.m. sharp the lights were turned off and we were asked to leave even though we hadn't finished eating yet.

A highly recommended restaurant with excellent service, very clean, buffet always plenty of supplies, quality of the food is very good. The only thing that isn't so good are the fixed costs for the all you can eat buffet and drink on Sundays, which are 12 euros more than usual.

Juice shop, after the first 10 minutes the toilet was already bombed. Unfortunately, the food was cold and didn't taste particularly fresh. There is still a lot of toilet paper in the toilet. Was there, was cheated out of 5.50, after repeated calculations we couldn't see it, lights flickered everywhere, food didn't taste good, was allowed to pay 69€(!) for 2 people. 10/10 gladly again, but only to put a big pile in the bowl and not wash it.

If you want to celebrate a birthday nice and in peace then don't go there. Eternal waiting times, robots that are not programmed correctly and no birthday present are the order of the day.

Interesting concept, you pay directly at the entrance, you receive the payment receipt and 2 drink chips. These are for serving alcoholic drinks such as beer/wine. We were then brought to a table, put down our things and began our culinary journey at the rich buffet. From soup to salads, finger food, sushi and Chinese delicacies, every taste was catered for. At a Mongolian grill you could have your menu prepared from specially selected ingredients. This was brought to the table with a robot. A large selection of non-alcoholic drinks, as many as you wanted, coffee too. The atmosphere is typically Asian and clean. At first I found the amount of €31.99 per person to be expensive, but the fact that all drinks and two alcoholic ones are included puts the amount into perspective again. Very tasty, very large selection, this was definitely not the last visit here.

This was the best sushi I ate in Fulda. It's very fresh and you can see that the sushi is made locally. It's fascinating to watch the manufacturing process, which makes the experience even better. The buffet offers a wide selection and the overall taste is very good.

Super anti-social. Food is not refilled, everything is cold and dried out. Super loud, children's screaming is unbearable, mothers park their children in front of their cell phones at full volume. Had dinner there on Sunday evening. Definitely the first and last time! For 31€!!

I am very disappointed, the lady at the checkout is rude & rounds up her price herself. It doesn't work that way, it continues inside. The dishes are broken and the food was better. We won't be coming back.

After the bad reviews after the name change, I wanted to see for myself. Yes, Buffet Town is now called the Imperial Pavilion, but the old neon signs are still there and very little has changed. We're actually only there at lunchtime, so I can't say anything about the grill. Sushi is no longer available for lunch, but it's not important to me. The food is otherwise the same as before, of course not star cuisine but I like it. I think it's okay that you have to pay at the beginning, so you can go faster afterwards. From the operator's point of view, this is very understandable, as apparently not all guests came back from their smoking break. Since I paid by card, there was no problem with the change. We had to wait a few minutes for someone to come, but we didn't starve. I smiled warmly at the lady who came to us and she was also very nice and friendly to us. Maybe she'll be a little less friendly if you complain right from the start. Everything was clean as always. Of course something spills at a buffet, but unclean isn't a term that comes to mind. The food wasn't too cold either. However, I always use a bowl and not a plate; it is more convenient with chopsticks. However, when I see how long some people look around at the buffet when they already have something on their plate, it doesn't surprise me that the food is no longer quite hot. There were no problems with refilling, even the duck was always available. This may of course be different in the evening when it is more crowded. I think the price adjustment is okay, it's not too expensive for a selection of starters, main courses, side dishes and dessert including drinks. I might consider it in the evenings and on weekends, starting at 20 euros is more than reasonable. CONCLUSION: I was very satisfied again and would like to come back!

Looks very chic inside and the food tastes really good. I think it's a standard Chinese buffet, except that one thing didn't have a sign on it and nobody could tell us what was in it. But no matter, that was only once and it's everywhere else

Prices for the lunch buffet are very fair, [19.90 including soft drinks...or coffee specialties], buffet size is sufficient, good selection, refilling could be quicker... The decor is nice, the size of the restaurant is good, the background noise is pleasant. Criticism: We were there shortly before 12 (opening time from 11:30), some of the food was only lukewarm, the fact that you pay before eating is unusual, actually not a problem, but the way it was done was a bit "strange", ....Card payment is not possible, but it is possible for subsequent customers....the amount is then kindly "rounded up"...

The restaurant looks fantastic. The service is good, but you mostly serve yourself. Paying at the beginning isn't a bad thing at all, as the owners are just protecting themselves from people who leave without paying.

My girlfriend and I wanted to spend a nice evening together, but unfortunately that was it after the first plate! We both have stomach pains, this food is absolutely not recommended! Nobody in the store can speak our language!

When paying at the beginning, the nice lady expected a tip as a matter of course and rounded the sum up with the words: “tip”. I then asked for a receipt, which took her so long to create, so I decided not to do so so as not to make the long line behind me wait any longer. The food at the buffet was clearly not enough and the staff unfortunately couldn't keep up.

We had dinner with 2 adults and a 6-year-old child for around 76 euros, which had to be paid directly upon arrival. So far everything was ok. We were assigned a table and went to the buffet. What was on offer there in the late afternoon was more than shocking. You could tell what food was still there and that it had been there for a long time. It ran through the entire display from dry, cold to residual crumbs in the containers. That was definitely the very last time we ate there.

After the renovation, the restaurant looks much nicer and more exciting. The design of the buffet is amazing. I also like that most of the drinks are included in the price. You pay at the entrance and not after eating. It's also great because you don't have to wait, you can just go home full of food. 😀

We hadn't made a reservation, but every effort was made to ensure we got a table. Very nice staff. The buffet was always well stocked and the items from the grill were quickly at the table.

Wir entschieden uns das Restaurant für das Mittagsbuffet auszuprobieren. Bedauerlicherweise erlebten wir eine Enttäuschung, da wir vor dem Essen bereits zur Kasse gebeten wurden – eine Erfahrung, die uns bisher fremd war. Die Auswahl am Buffet ließ zu wünschen übrig. Das Essen war teilweise nur lauwarm, bis man am Tisch war, war es fast komplett kalt. Zudem vermissten wir Sushi. Das Personal machte einen gestressten Eindruck, und die Raumtemperatur im Restaurant war sehr unangenehm kalt.

Das selbe Essen das bei jedem all you can eat angeboten wird allerdings incl Getränke. Keine billigen instant Getränke sonder gute Marken Getränke.

Mein Freund und ich wollten zusammen essen gehen. Als wir dort angekommen waren, mussten wir feststellen, dass die Auswahl viel kleiner war wie wir dachten. An Sushi hatten sie eine Sorte da. Das Essen hat nicht sonderlich gut geschmeckt aber sobald wir daheim angekommen waren, kam es uns beiden wieder hoch. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!!!

Wir haben dieses China Buffet Restaurant bereits 3x besucht, immer jeweils Mittags. 2x im alten Jahr 2023 und 1x in 2024. Postiv: Das Buffetessen ist immer reichlich und sehr lecker und für jeden etwas dabei. Jeweils 1 Alkoholisches Getränk und sonst sind alle nicht alkoholischen Getränke frei, auch in der Anzahl. Negativ: Hatten uns vorher Informiert, ob die Preise 2024 ggf. bzgl. der MwSt angestiegen sind. Im Internet sind noch immer die alten Preise. Mittagsbuffet bisher 17.90 und wie erwartend um 2 Euro auf 19.90 angehoben. Wenn sollte man diese Preise auch offen kommunizieren - auch das Abendbuffet hat sich von 29.90 auf 31.90 erhöht. Obligatorisch werden einen die 10 Cent bei Barzahlung nur auf Nachfrage ausgehändigt und einem die Chips für jeweils 1 Alkoholisches Getränk ausgegeben. Dies finden wir als Gast nicht freundlich und dies ist mit Sicherheit keine hol, sondern eine Bringschuld! Wir empfehlen es weiter jedoch muss das mit der Kommunikation und mit dem Geld und den Chips für die Alk. Getränke sofort laufen und nicht auf Nachfrage ! Trotzdem Empfehlen wir es weiter !

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal dort essen und werden leider nicht so schnell wiederkommen. Die Dame am Empfang war leider sehr unfreundlich und das System mit Vorkasse hält sehr auf, sodass leider sehr lange warten mussten. Außerdem wurden wir nicht zum Tisch begleitet und es wurde von der Empfangsdame nur erklärt an welchem Tisch wir Platz nehmen sollen. Das Essen war gut, aber nichts besonderes. Die Selbstbedienung mit den Getränken fand ich gut. Die Teller wurden regelmäßig abgeräumt und die Service-Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Großer Minuspunkt für mich ist das einige Teller und Besteck dreckig waren. Das geht für mich in einem Restaurant gar nicht. Einige Personen vor mir am Buffet haben ebenfalls Teller aussortiert, da diese noch dreckig waren.

Das essen schmeckt uns leider nicht mehr so wie früher. Vor allem muss man leider voraus bezahlen.

Sylvester geht man mit einfachen Erwartungen essen. Das vorab. Aber warum alle Teller nass waren konnte ich nicht verstehen. Das Personal findet keine Teelöffel, kennt sich im eigenen Haus nicht aus. Das Buffet war früher besser. Der Gesamtpreis von 29,90 beinhaltet das Buffet und alkoholfreie Getränke inklusive, und 2 alkoholische Getränke in Form von Bier oder Wein. Darüber kann man nicht meckern. Dafür sollte die Auswahl aber nicht zu billig aussehen. Das Ambiente ist wohl immer Geschmackssache,aber dieser Mix an Farben und vor allem Materialien ist einfach nur scheußlich. Da passt leider nichts zusammen. Das meiner Meinung nach schlimmste ist die große Lampe bestehend aus Fischen und Kugeln über dem Buffet.

In Fulda das beste Asia- Restaurant. Alles frisch und reichlich! Eine Empfehlung!!

Mittagsbuffet mit guter Auswahl. Auch für Vegetarier und Kinder ist gesorgt :) Klasse Dessertbuffet.

Essen war gut...nur war es zum Buffet ziemlich weit...da wir beide Etwas Gehbehindert sind. Im voraus bezahlen war ungewöhnlich aber im Nachhinein schon in Ordnung

Sehr gute Auswahl über die gesamte Mittagszeit. Auch war ohne Reservierung genügend Platz für einen spontanen Besuch. Preis ist OK, speziell wenn Kinder dabei sind, die weniger bezahlen müssen. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür sind begrenzt, jedoch ein kleines Stück weiter gibt es genügend Platz.

Essen war ok, die Auswahl war etwas wenig. Es war sehr voll und kinder rannten überall herum. Ich bin selbst Mutter, mein 7 jähriger saß ordentlich am Tisch.

Мне понравилось заведение.Еда вкусная, много чего ел мой трехлетний сын, который обычно, очень привередлив в еде. Единственное,что немного портит атмосферу, это шум создаваемый посетителями, но это,скорее всего, издержки системы "шведский стол".

Ich bin immer gerne im China Buffet Town. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut, die Auswahl ist riesig und für 18€ fürs Mittagsbuffet bekommt man eine ganze Menge geboten. Neben den gängigen Hauptgerichten gibt es eine große Auswahl an Sushi. Salatbuffet, Kaffee, Kuchen, alkoholfreie Getränke, alles ist im Preis mit inbegriffen. Absolute Empfehlung von mir! Eine Reservierung ist auf jeden Fall sinnvoll, dies geht aber ganz easy online!

über TooGoodToGo bestellt, reinkommen mit Begrüßung, statt mich zurück zu grüßen hat sie ihren finger nach links geizeigt ohne mich anzuschauen, ich habe trotzdem ganz freundlich gefragt wo ich denn eine schale bekomme zum befüllen, sie hat mich leider ganz dumm angemacht das ich nach hinten soll und nicht hier rumfragen soll. Da verging mir schon der Appetit. Sehr Sehr unfreundlich die ältere Asiatische Dame. Schade ich wurde behandelt als wäre ich ein Bettler. Ich bin genauso ein Kunde wie auch vollpreis zahlende Kunden.

Essen mal gut mal nicht, Nachspeisen sind sehr durchwachsen und komisches Publikum hier.... Getränkeauswahl war schonmal besser solange es Funktioniert und der Fuzetea kein stilles Wasser ist Das Licht flackert leicht Der Lieferroboter im Restaurant ist mein Persönliches highlight (er überfährt gerne mal kleine Kinder)

Service gibts keinen; alles Selbstbedienung und Buffet gegen Vorkasse. Tische werden regelmäßig abgeräumt. Außerdem flackert das Licht Essen im Buffet teilweise kalt, geschmacklich in Ordnung.

Wir waren hier zum ersten Mal. Vorab ist es gut zu wissen, dass man in Vorkasse treten muss dh bevor man seinen Tisch bekommt muss man erst sein Essen + Getränke bezahlen. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber gut. Die Bedienung am Empfang war leider sehr mürrisch und unfreundlich. Wir habens mit Humor genommen aber so eine Dame hat im Kundenservice nix zu suchen. Die Speisen waren super lecker und es gab sehr viel Auswahl. Es wurde ständig nachgefüllt. Ich habe noch nie so einen sauberen und aufgeräumten Buffetbereich gesehen. Das Personal ist da echt auf Zack. Ich denke wir kommen wieder.
