Gasthaus Fuldaer Hof in Fulda

The "St. Nicholas Party" on December 6, 2025, was a great success overall: DJ TAFASOGA's music was—as usual—varied, danceable, and created a great atmosphere with its Disco Fox theme. The ambiance was pleasant, and many guests clearly enjoyed dancing and the entire event. However, there was a technical problem that evening that affected the sound. It's important to note that this problem—a faulty cable—was NOT the DJ's responsibility. Technical issues can unfortunately always occur, but in this case, the response was quick and professional. What I find very problematic, however, are two reviews in this context that contain negative comments and were posted after the fact. Both lack any factual knowledge and give the impression that they were either coordinated or at least copied from each other. Instead of objectively assessing the situation or perhaps gathering information on-site, inappropriate and rude complaints were made that do justice neither to the reality of the evening nor to DJ TAFASOGA's performance. However, I am very critical of two reviews in this context that contain negative statements made after the event. Criticism is perfectly legitimate – but it should be fair, well-founded, and independent. Blanket negative reviews without any background information not only harm the DJ but also the entire event series, which is otherwise always very well received. I'd also like to add that DJ TAFASOGA is happy to take requests and is always friendly. Despite the technical issue, it was a very enjoyable and successful evening of dancing, and I'm looking forward to the next events – especially with DJ TAFASOGA. He approaches his hobby with great joy, enthusiasm, and passion. Keep it up!

We went here for our first time today for roast chicken and it was absolutely delicious, and definitely not the last time....

We were there for a Christmas party; it was quite tasty, but very chaotic and there was a lot of broken glass. I also would have liked a bit more choice when it came to drinks.

Very expensive, the manager keeps the tip. €5 for 0.5 Hochstift (a kind of sirloin steak) €16 for 1/2 chicken (€17 with fries) Cheap labor from abroad. The beer garden and the rooms are already furnished. The staff made an effort and are friendly. I won't eat anything at these prices and will order something from the bottle in the future. It's become mass tourism.

On a trip home, we went to eat at the inn. We opted for half a chicken with a variety of variations. It was very tasty and crispy, a new experience for us. There were so many different chicken variations that we will definitely visit the inn again. The service was very friendly and quick, as mentioned above; we'll be returning again.

We were here recently in the beer garden. It's quite nice and quiet. However, the food was just okay and nothing special. The chicken selection is good, but the taste is just okay. The prices are pretty high these days for the quantity and quality you get.

We went today for my mother's birthday dinner with nine people, and we were all very pleased with the friendly service, the delicious food, and the location. 👍😉 I have no idea what the previous posts were about, but we all give everything 5 stars and hope it stays that way. Unfortunately, the food disappointed us. The overall quality was very poor, the bread was obviously from the day before, and they couldn't accommodate any allergies. The chicken tasted of old grease. It's a shame, because for €100, you expect something different. On the plus side, the lovely beer garden and the clean restrooms are worth mentioning. The place is okay for a drink, but unfortunately, we can't recommend it for food at all. It's a shame...

Unfortunately disappointing... You look forward to good food and arrive in a completely worn-out dining room. The food lacks some zest and even a little love for the preparation. The chicken broth was too salty (you could have made your own soup garnish), and the chicken meat wasn't even noticeable. The chicken for the main course was presented completely carelessly on the plate... A little decoration would have helped prevent the chicken from feeling so lost on the large plate. Also, you never, ever fry a chicken... Due to the points mentioned above, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right at all. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it...

We wanted to celebrate our graduation with 80 people and had booked a hall, which they confirmed. The owner wanted to contact me 14 days in advance to discuss everything in detail. Since he didn't, I called 10 days before the event, and now I've been offered the beer garden or two separate rooms as alternatives, or simply a cancellation! I'm sorry, I can't understand this!!! After the good report in Osthessen-News, we wanted to stop at the Fuldaer Hof. A nice beer garden invites you to sit down. It took a while from ordering to serving, but what the heck. The food, half a chicken with fries, was fast food of the lowest order. Half a chicken that was baked to death and had no seasoning, with fries that were still half raw and unsalted. We complained about the fries and asked for new ones. After 10 minutes, a portion of unsalted fries arrived. The next time the waiter brought me the next course, I asked for salt again. The fries were cold by then. The answer was... It's a shame! We were looking forward to our visit to the Fuldaer Hof, but it was our first and last visit.

The Fuldaer Hof in Maberzell near Fulda is a beautiful place: Building, beer garden, soon a terrace at the historic hall… everything is very inviting, if…. …..you’re not hungry! The food is so untasty, so poorly prepared and completely different from what is offered on the menu. (Except maybe chicken, which I haven't tried.) I was there with friends last week and ordered Frankfurt green sauce with egg and potatoes. I got overcooked potatoes with runny herb quark and a sliced ​​egg on top. The liquid curd contained chopped wilted parsley and a tablespoon of chopped chives was scattered on top. Hunger drove it in! It didn't taste good as herb curd either. Too watery, not seasoned enough! (But my friend's soup was even saltier.) The third person didn't order anything because she already had experience there with bad fried potatoes that weren't fried at all and didn't taste good at all. I gave slsSign of Hope one star because there are many chicken dishes on the menu. Maybe THIS is the house specialty? I haven't tried those! Dear chef, there are recipes! Frankfurter green sauce contains 7 specific herbs and as the name suggests, it is green and not white! I don't want to complain or complain here, this food deserves my pity. It tells me that you are not doing this voluntarily and that you are not happy in the kitchen! Maybe you were persuaded because of a lack of staff or some other emergency...Please, do something different, you definitely have other talents! Or, if that's not possible, ask mom or grandma how to put something delicious on the table. They can definitely do Frankfurt green sauce and fried potatoes! Dear owners or tenants, please change something in the kitchen! It's definitely not easy for you, but you have a nice place in a good location, why is the food such a disappointment? There really is room for improvement! Until then: Drinks are good, the service is OK too. However, she doesn't ask if it tasted good or if "it was okay". You probably know why!

Das Essen ist lieblos angerichtet, die Küche vermutlich zu klein um alle Sitzplätze zeitnah zu bedienen aber das größte Manko ist die unfreundliche Bedienung. Solch ein Verhalten und Zurechtweisungen gehen gar nicht. Hier sollte der Inhaber unbedingt nachbessern.

Today we were at the snack stand at Kaufland in Fulda and wanted to try something new. So we ordered a currywurst with fries and paid €6.50 for it. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. The fries were completely over salted, the ketchup was extremely skimpy, and the sausage was so dry as if it had been lying around for a long time. The curry was also way too spicy, which didn't exactly improve the taste. Overall, the price-performance ratio was not convincing - we could have invested the €6.50 better. Too bad!

The new hall has been outstandingly restored. great location. The service is top. One star deducted because of the Fulda-style buffet.... caraway seeds everywhere, except for the schnitzel with green sauce. But that was extremely tasty. Thanks to Björn and Doris for the fun breakfast.

The food tasted good. However, the burger was logistically inedible. Hard-baked baguettes instead of burger buns and unstable toppings are a challenge at a height of a good 20cm. By the way, side dishes were only available upon request. Regarding the service: if the dishes for a celebration were announced in advance and you still wait 1.5 hours for the food, something is wrong in the organization of the kitchen. The drinks supply was inadequate. And the waitress made us feel like we were a big burden to her. “You pay individually? Oh man, then I have to write a cover for everyone.” In the end, she could have saved herself from writing a cover. Since she didn't clear any of the glasses, my order was easy to understand. Next time we will be a burden to another restaurant and leave room for the employees to recover.

We went on a chicken day (Monday) there. There are 2 halves with fries for the price of one. The chicken was very crispy and very well seasoned. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back.

After many years, we are now finishing our visit to the beer garden there. The service is completely inadequate, the service staff don't see the customers, we waited longer and longer for service. So completely inattentive. The quality of the food is good, but the beer is unfortunately too warm. 1/2 chicken with a side dish and salad over €20 isn't exactly a small price.

We were there with two families around 6 p.m., we were served quickly and then waited for our food and would have liked to have left. The regulars' table consisting of 3 gentlemen sat next to us and the waitress was probably also part of it. Both ladies took every round of schnapps and had the lanterns on, one gentleman was so loud and couldn't control himself even after the waitress asked him to quiet down. The food wasn't good, even the bratwurst ended up in the deep fryer. Not suitable for families when the drunk people there have their lanterns on at 6:30 p.m. and are shouting as if they were on the Reeperbahn

Hähnchen aus der Fritteuse. Sehr schlechte Qualität, schlecht gewürzt, wenig Fleisch und sehr klein. Dafür waren dies Pommes frites sehr lecker. Wir hatten das Knoblauchhähnchen bestellt. Die nicht schmackhafte Knoblauchsauce kam aus dem Eimer in sehr kleiner Portion. Zum Schluss wollte die Bedienung noch 2 Portionen abrechnen obwohl es immer Montags heißt zwei zu einem Preis. Dieses Lokal ist auf keinen Fall zum weiterempfehlen. Für uns heißt das einmal und nie wieder.

Man hatte das Gefühl, die wollen nicht's verdienen.

Naja mit 6 Personen Vorort gewesen. Der Service wirkt desinteressiert. Als es regnete hat man uns weder einen anderen Tisch im Innenbereich angeboten, noch beim verrücken unter die Schirme geholfen. Die Bedienung haben sich aber wie die Formel 1 ab ins trockene gemacht und haben dann nur noch maximal aus dem Schneckenhaus herausgeschaut. Bloß nicht nass werden. Getränke gab es einmal. Essen war im großen und ganzen gut, wir mussten aber länger warten. Allerdings waren die Pommes nicht richtig durch. Der Salat kaum gewürzt. Schade eigentlich. Das hätte man besser Zuhause gemacht. Das Restaurant war nicht sonderlich gut besucht. Cirka 20 Personen reichen aus um das Gasthaus zu lähmen. Das Essen (Brizza, Hähnchen) war wirklich lecker. Die Bedienung war aber unterirdisch. Es waren kaum Gäste da aber dafür einige Bedienungen. Niemand hat gefragt, ob es schmeckt und es wurden keine neuen Getränke gebracht . Als es plötzlich regnete, wurden wir draußen sitzen gelassen. Keine Bedienung ist rausgegangen und hat bedient. Die Bedienung hat uns damit so verärgert, dass wir trotz des guten Essens nicht mehr dort hingehen.

Das Essen war gut. Das Ambiente war auch gut. Der Service war extrem schlecht.

Der Fulda er Hof in Maberzell bei Fulda liegt direkt an einem Fahrradweg und hat einen sehr schönen Biergarten mit alten Bäumen. Seit 20 Jahren ist hier Björn Helfrich der Chef. Er stammt aus einer erfahrenen Gastronomie Familie und ist in Fulda und weit darüber hinaus für seine leckeren Hähnchen und sein Catering auf allen Arten von Festen und mit seinem Food Truck bekannt. Der Fuldaer Hof ist einer der letzten echten traditionellen deutschen Gasthöfe in der Umgebung von Fulda. Hier ist es fast immer sehr voll weshalb ich empfehle zu reservieren. Besonders Montags wenn es zwei Hähnchen zum Preis von einem gibt. Die Gaststube hat ein besonderes rustikales Ambiente es gibt auch noch einen Nebenraum für größere Gruppen. Sehr spannend ist das aktuell an dem alt ehrwürdigen Saal gebaut wird. Dieser historische Saal wird bestimmt ein Anziehungspunkt für viele Familienfeier und für Konzerte werden. Das Essen im.Fuldaer Hof hier ist immer lecker und der Service stets aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich kann den Fuldaer Hof ausnahmslos weiterempfehlen.

Schöner Gasthof mit nettem und aufmerksamen Personal. Wir waren mit 5 Personen essen. Neben den leckeren vielfältigen Hähnchenvarianten, hat das Schäufele voll überzeugt (mindestens so lecker wie im fränkischen). Der frische Beilagensalat mit Himbeerdressing hat das Ganze abgerundet. Dazu ein perfekt gezapftes Hochstift - was will man mehr. Bis bald!

Alles Top!!! Einfache rustikale Ausstattung, was ich sehr schätze. Sehr gutes Essen. Spezialität ist Geflügel mit hausgemachten Soßen. ElDiablo ist das schärfste Gericht, welches ich zunächst nehmen wollte. Auf die Empfehlung habe ich das zweitschäfste genommen und sogar das was extrem. Und wir essen sehr scharf! Das Hähnchen war sehr gut zubereitet. Die eigene Soßen sind genial. Sogar der Kaffee war sehr gut. Wir waren nur dort, weil zu Mittagszeit alle anderen Restaurants geschlossen hatten. Es hat sich aber sehr gelohnt. Die Preise für die Gerichte sind nicht hoch.

Top Hähnchen, immer wieder gerne!

War schon mehrfach vor Ort, um schöne Stunden zu verbringen und auch des öfteren hole ich essen außer Haus. Ich kann nur sagen alles Perfekt und immer wieder gut.

Sonntags 2 halbe Hähnchen bestellt zum mitnehmen - total trocken - Beschwerde war leider nur ein Schulterzucken uns es habe wohl an disem Wochenende etwas nict gestimmt. Am darauffolgenden Mittwoch war ich mit 6 Personen zum Essen - da gab es eiskalten Korn ( im Malteser Glas serviert ) und lauwarmes Bier. Und am Donnerstag der gleichen Woche war ich mit 10 Personen zum Essen da gab es warmen Weisswein für 3 Gäste - 8 Personen haben 1 1/2 Stunden auf das Essen gwewartet und 2 Personen 1 Stunde 45 Minuten. Das macht keine Freude zumal wir angemeldet waren.

Der Fuldaer Hof präsentiert sich urig und authentisch. Klare Struktur. Leckeres Essen und sehr zuvorkommendes ,freundliches Personal. Da geht's gerne wieder hin.

Sehr leckere Hähnchen. Das El Fuego hatte es richtig in sich obwohl das ,,nur“ das 2. schärfste Hähnchen auf der Karte war. Nächstes mal werde ich das schärfste probieren. Ansonsten echt saftig. Pilgerstoff aus dem Tonkrug sehr köstlich. Empfehlenswert.

Schlicht eingerichteter Gastraum. Der Tisch war klebrig. Leider hat das Hähnchen nicht gut geschmeckt. Fritierte Hähnchen sind nicht meins. Die Haut war nicht nicht kross, eher klebrig. Die Kartoffelchips waren nicht gut durch. Schade.
