Very quick and friendly service. We were only there around 5 p.m. and wanted to have coffee, no problem.

Food very good, but waiting time for the food is quite long and the service seems overwhelmed and sometimes not qualified.

At the end of our birthday party, we registered for dinner at the Chausseehaus. We were given a very friendly welcome and a beautifully set table awaited us. The food were very tasty and plentiful. I was positively impressed! While passing through the "Hotel Sachsenruh (insiders know what that means)", it was my appetite for the evening that made me choose this location from what the area had to offer. You are seated and obviously not without reason, the place was full. I was greeted warmly and received a small TABLE FOR TWO and ordered coffee, water and wild goulash with dumplings. That was really tasty and the kitchen should get an award for it! The ambience was also right, as there was a cozy atmosphere despite the full house. Everything seemed very professional and well designed. As a former restaurateur, I am convinced that I give it the highest rating!!! Great

During my rehabilitation I was here several times in the evenings with dear friends. Great atmosphere, very nice, hard-working service and delicious cocktails.

Price-performance ratio doesn't fit. I enjoy eating out, but given their prices, I expect quality all around. So what I mean by that is that everything should be consistent. The service person was very disinterested and not friendly. Menus very sticky, as well as the table...toilet 🤮

Our visit to the Chausseehaus was a culinary experience in a class of its own. The Kaiserschmarren that we enjoyed was perfectly prepared - slightly crispy on the outside, wonderfully fluffy on the inside and with a subtle sweetness that was perfectly complemented by the fresh fruit garnish. Every portion was a treat that not only filled you up, but also caressed your soul. The beef fillet was another highlight. It was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, and was accompanied by an excellent sauce that rounded off the taste experience. The side dish of crispy fried potatoes and the fresh salads harmonized perfectly with the main course and rounded off the meal. The service in the Chausseehaus was also excellent. The service was friendly, attentive and always made sure that we didn't lack anything. You felt completely comfortable and were able to enjoy the food to the fullest. We can highly recommend the Chausseehaus and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Were in the restaurant on New Year's Eve 23. We were offered a table to the left behind the entrance door upstairs with 4 people. Food came very quickly and was very good, but the place wasn't nice at all and it was very dragging so we couldn't stay for long satisfied

Celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary here today. From the reservation to the service to the food, we were simply thrilled. The service is friendly, courteous, thoughtful (children's meal served before our main course) and authentic. The food was first class, had rump steak, the wine, my new favorite red "" and the hospitality invites you to linger. We'll definitely be back. The only drawback - my husband didn't like the music at all 🙈😅😂.

We ordered takeaway there - unfortunately I have to say I was very disappointed. We know how to take it and have already eaten there. The takeaway food is much smaller in quantity than the normal plate portion of the same dish (approximately half). But of course the price remains the same. Everything was slapped into the packaging very carelessly, my fitness salad was more of a puree because it was so squashed. For the vegetarian dishes, the price/performance ratio is a disgrace. A portion of pasta with baked tomatoes and rocket costs €18.50!!! With a goods value of perhaps €2-3. I won't see the income in the future, the "Sen" a few meters away offers a completely different quality.

We recently had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. It was lovely to sit on the terrace, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. The coffee we ordered was not just any cup, but a large, rich container that we could enjoy in peace. We also got a Wiener Apfelstrudel, which was fresh and full of flavor—highly recommended! What also stood out was the excellent service. The service was fast, friendly and very attentive. Even our dog was not forgotten and was immediately given a bowl of water, which we really appreciated. All in all a great experience, both for us and for our four-legged friend. This is definitely a place we would like to return to!

We were there for coffee, it was fine. We would have loved to come to dinner too because the menu looked promising, but 1. you stand at the stairs like a supplicant and wait for an "initiator" to deign to humiliate the guest from above, from a kind of lectern . And 2. we would like to sit on this river, which is very romantic, but these places were never served "for reasons": lack of staff, uncertain weather conditions,... 🤔 After the third attempt, we checked off this establishment and went to the lodging courtyard, where we were able to sit under a canopy of leaves and eat a delicious meal.

Good day! Last Saturday we were at the Chausseehaus. For me it was disappointing. The Chauseehaus - steak with Mediterranean vegetables, fries and pepper sauce. 1. The food was only lukewarm. 2. The Mediterranean vegetables were just a few pieces of pepper. And the sauce, I would think from Maggi, is covered with skin (from standing around for a long time). Not to mention the steak. A quarter of it was just fat. And that for 34 euros! No thanks !!!

We've been taking it for a long time and are really shocked by the prices. I decided to order the warm chocolate cake, which I always enjoyed. A real disappointment. For the price, something so dry wasn't possible. The waiter was probably having a bad day too. Too bad.

Asparagus isn't really that good. Served hard. The staff doesn't understand their guests. Very unfortunate. My first bad review I ever gave but it was impossible.

Unfortunately it is becoming more and more expensive. You have to be lucky when eating. Sometimes everything is fine - sometimes not.

We've been guests at the Chausseehaus so many times, but now I'm literally falling away from the faith. 2 months ago everything was very good, the prices are higher, yes, but the food was good. Now: completely dry burgers with missing ingredients that are on the menu but never ended up on the burger - and at ridiculous prices and side dishes are extra and also overpriced. When spoken to, the service shrugs its shoulders and says nothing. In general, for me, the service and quality of the food have decreased immensely and the prices have increased significantly. Components in the dish were also forgotten or prepared incorrectly at two neighboring tables. What's going on there? I'm willing to pay more for good food - but that should really be reflected in the food and service. That was nothing - a shame. We are very disappointed.

You sit very nicely. Food tastes good. Service is nice. But the restaurant lives up to its name: for consumption. It is expensive and the prices are unreasonable. Chicken liver e.g. B. 16.90. That's the bottom of the barrel..Visit again in 2024, unfortunately nothing can be added to the above. Prices horrendous, unreasonable

Super bad food, it tasted absolutely nothing, vegetable curry with flat rice noodles was served without noodles, only made again after I asked, so the family had already eaten and I waited for my food, children's meals were a disaster, even noodles with tomato sauce didn't taste good, my husband did Ate roast lamb - just bad. We haven't eaten so badly in a long time, totally not recommended

The ambience has always been very nice, service was nice, although apparently a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests. The food was disappointing for the price. All 5 people at the table were not satisfied, things were missing (but were brought in later when asked). Meat on the burgers was very dry and overall the various burgers were pretty much the same, although presented very differently on the menu. You can tell that this restaurant knows full well that they have a constantly changing clientele due to the spa guests, which is very reflected in the food. Although we come from the region, we definitely won't come back again and won't recommend it to anyone.

Not exactly cheap, but every dish is something special. The service was also perfect. We recommend.

First of all, the food is really delicious. But it can't be the case that you don't get anyone to answer the phone when you call to reserve a table or order food. This has happened several times. That's why only 2 stars overall!

So first of all, it tasted very good! Everyone present enjoyed it, but the price/performance/quantity is out of the question. The service was extremely nice, but a bit disorganized at first. If there is a reservation for 16 people and the set-up is set up when they arrive (and then not enough), it doesn't seem very professional... The food: (we come from a big city, we don't have to be told that good food costs anything ;) and here it's more expensive than in the "province") The Iberico, impeccable, excellent side dishes, reasonable price, top! That was the only thing that really convinced us! The Mongolian Beef Bowls: Initially underestimated, tasted very good, rice... more than aldente, shouldn't be so crispy... The large mixed salad was very fine, well prepared, but considering that it was almost exclusively leaf lettuce, 2 cherry tomatoes, a bit of coleslaw, 2 very decorative cucumber spirals and 2 thin slices of bread €13.90 - absolutely overpriced! No “expensive ingredients” such as cheese, seeds, seeds, sprouts...the value of the goods is out of the question even if they are picked up from an organic farm. The “Chausseehaus-Brotzeit” starter: It was tasty, no question about it! Price-performance: OUTRAGEOUS! For 2 people over €22! 3 (!!!!!) slices of ham! This was the most expensive product on the record! The rest aioli, herb butter, bread, countable olives. Absolutely NOT justified! We don't talk about the supposed "pesto". It tasted good, it didn't really have anything to do with pesto. Even in the local city center this would have been charged at a maximum of €15 (and that's already high!). So the pricing definitely has nothing to do with higher energy prices, VAT increases or high food purchasing prices (refers to the salad and the starters!), but rather with resting on the good reputation. Overall good, if not excellent, pricing policy (corresponding to the population in Thuringia looking for good restaurants), pathetic because it's just really not fair...

Great restaurant! We were there for lunch on Saturday and got a seat even without a reservation. Both the food and the service can only be recommended, and above all everything went very quickly. We'd love to come back.

Actually, I shouldn't write anything positive at all. Then you won't get any space there anymore. But it is an excellent restaurant with sensationally delicious food and great service. The steak is highly recommended and the home-made fries are in a class of their own.

Außergewöhnlich gut. Ganz großes Lob an die gesamte Lokation und das Personal. 3x5 Sterne gebe ich selten. Ich staune, dass ein kleiner Ort wie Bad Liebenstein im Umkreis von 100m 2 wunderbare Lokalitäten hat, welche beide auf ihre Weise einzigartige Gastronomie bieten. Das schafft manche Großstadt nicht. Was besonders auffiel: das unglaublich aufmerksame, höfliche Personal. 6 Sterne dafür. Die Räumlichkeiten perfekt. Separierte Bereiche, dadurch gewisse Ruhe. Wunderbar. Getrennter Garderobenbereich obendrein. Gemütlich, sehr aufeinander abgestimmtes Ambiente.

Schönes Restaurant in Bad Liebenstein. Besonders schön finde ich hier die Auswahl an vielen verschiedenen Burgern darunter auch 2 vegetarische, welche sehr lecker sind. Die Bedienungen sind hier sehr nett und freundlich. Der Gastraum ist groß und offen. Hier ist es oft sehr voll, deswegen würde ich immer einen Tisch reservieren. Super Restaurant, komme hier gerne wieder her.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 9 Personen vor Ort und leider ging wohl was bei der Reservierung daneben. Jedoch fand man gleich eine Lösung und konnte uns so noch Plätze anbieten. So verbrachten wir einen super Abend, in schöner Atmosphäre, bei sehr aufmerksamen Personal und sehr guten Essen.

Schöne Gaststätte/ Ambiente und freundlich. Ich hatte zum Essen ein Hähnchen was nicht durchgebraten war (noch roh in der Mitte) als ich es zurück gab und es nach ca. 15 Minuten zurück bekommen hatte war das Essen kalt und das Hähnchen wie ich es zurück gegeben hatte .

Vorweg, hier war alles in Ordnung. Die aufwändig ausgebaute Gaststätte ist vom Stil her nicht so meins, aber auf jeden Fall mit viel Liebe und Ambition umgesetzt. Das Essen war sehr gut, gibt deutsche Küche mit modernen Variationen. Experimentierfreudig im positiven Sinn.

Wir waren dort heute Abend essen, ohne Vorbestellung. Es war alles voll, aber der nette Kellner hatte noch ein Platz für uns gefunden, danke nochmals dafür 😊 Was soll ich sagen? Es war mega lecker 🤤 Kann ich nur empfehlen, aber bitte vorher anrufen und bestellen. Das sagt schon viel aus.

Sehr nettes Personal und prompte Bedienung. Das Essen ist reichlich und sehr gut, aber etwas salzig und das Gemüse könnte etwas mehr gegart sein. Aber das ist mein Eindruck. Das Ambiente ist gehobenen, allerdings sieht man am Mobiliar erst Abnutzungserscheinungen. Ich würde das Restaurant trozdem aber immer empfehlen und selbst besuchen.

Wirklich zu empfehlen. Der Service verdient seinen Namen wirklich.
