Wirtshaus Mausefalle in Bad Liebenstein

Ein hervorragender Ort für einen Familienausflug.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier zu Gast, ehr spontan und aus Neugier, was sich hinter dem Namen verbirgt. Mausefalle trifft es ganz gut, weil wenn man einmal hier war und das hervorragende Essen, die nette Bedienung und das außergewöhnliche Ambiente erlebt hat, möchte man natürlich gerne wiederkommen. Ein ganz großes Lob an das gesamte Team👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Tolles Restaurant mit ganz besonderem Ambiente in dem man in jede Richtung schaut und immer wieder etwas zu entdecken hat. Wir waren im März 2026 dort und haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war wirklich lecker und die Bedienung ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir konnten uns lange, trotz Stress, da sie alleine war, gut unterhalten.

Schade das man es vergessen hat, mitzuteilen das man Betriebsferien hat. Weder im Internet noch auf den Werbeschildern. War sehr traurig, hätte mich sehr interessiert.

Sehr gutes Essen, hatte die Schweine Medaillons, große Auswahl an Gerichten und sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Das Ambiente ist rustikal und sehr einladend. Am 25.12 eine eingeschränkte Speisekarte aber völlig ausreichend und die Knoblauchsuppe wa super!!! Service sehr schnell und hilfsbereit.

Wir waren wiedermal hier in der Mausefalle, um einen Geburtstag mit der Familie zu feiern. Die Tafel war schön gedeckt und wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Kurz gesagt, es hatte an diesem Abend wieder ALLES gepasst. Nette zuvorkommende Bedienung. Gut gekühlte Getränke, Gläser voll. Essen war Top und es wurde auch auf Extrawünsche eingegangen. Die Fassbiere sind sehr zu empfehlen z.b.Guinness. Wir sagen herzlich DANKE für den schönen Abend ,wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und lustig. Innen schönes Ambiente. Wir mussten etwas länger auf das Essen warten, es war sehr voll. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Ich hatte mich über ein Steak mit Grillgemüse vom Lavagrill gefreut... Wurde jedoch sehr enttäuscht Auf dem Teller kamen 2 verschiedene Fetzen Fleisch.. Das Gemüse kam aus der Tüte Vom Froster und war gedämpft. So schlecht habe ich noch nie gegessen und das noch zu dem Preis. .. Sorry nie mehr....

We were at the restaurant today and were absolutely delighted. The food was incredibly delicious, freshly prepared, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The service was also outstanding: friendly, attentive, yet pleasantly unobtrusive. The atmosphere was cozy, clean, and very inviting. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates high quality and excellent service!

Waren beim Räuberessen, super freundliche Bedienung, ausreichend Fleisch auf den Tellern. Es wären auch beim Essen volle fünf Punkte gewesen, wenn die Schweinshaxen schön "cross" gewesen wären und innen ganz durch. Ansonsten volle Punktzahl.

Waren zu viert da.Haben vorher reserviert sonst hätte es schlecht ausgesehen mit einen Platz. Bedienung war sehr freundlich trotz unterbesetzung.Das Essen war sehr lecker ,alles frisch.Wir würden aufjedenfall wieder kommen

Pleasant atmosphere, but the food service ends too early, drink prices are exorbitant, and the wait for food is too long. The spinach casserole was tasty. If you have enough time, patience, and money, you can order everything. Enjoy!

I was truly impressed. The food was simply outstanding – everything tasted perfect. The broccoli soup, in particular, was incredibly creamy and aromatic; you can immediately tell that the food is prepared with fresh ingredients and lots of love. Kudos to the chef – a truly amazing achievement! The rest of the menu was also perfectly balanced: the spices were finely balanced, the portions were just right, and the presentation on the plate was very appealing. The service was friendly and attentive, the ambiance pleasant and cozy – everything is just right here. I will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately, it's only takeaway food #bad food#kitchenette# We came as a group. It was a total overwhelm. The pork was disgusting and sour. The seasoned meat was old and hard. 👎horrible fries. The staff simply ignored us after we asked. The owner was in denial.

We spontaneously stopped by the "Mausefalle" on a Wednesday shortly after 5 p.m. The service was simply fantastic; she immediately brought us cushions because we wanted to eat outside. The food portions, spiced meat, were relatively large, served with original Dresden Worcestershire sauce. We joked a lot with the very friendly waitress; she was in a great mood and had her heart in the right place! Absolutely fantastic. Afterwards, we had an ice cream sundae, and everything was perfect. We would love to come back. THANK YOU to the kitchen and the fantastic service!!

A very nice inn with a terrace. We spontaneously stopped by today and made ourselves comfortable on the terrace. The mousetrap is a real recommendation. The food is delicious 😋 and Andrea’s service is great. She is always very friendly, always has a quick saying and fits perfectly into the atmosphere. Here you can get really tasty food at good prices.

The atmosphere is really great if you like flea market decorations. Unfortunately, the taste of the dishes did not reflect their price. Steakhouse fries without salt or sauces are rather bland. Salad plate with the dish with something like a quark sauce - the taste is rather neutral or takes some getting used to. The steak au four lacked juiciness.

Cozy inn. Very nice woman in service who was very friendly despite the stress. The food is top. We had pizza, schnitzel and a stir-fry. Can only recommend it.

Absolutely overwhelmed with a tour group. The food was ordered long in advance. Still waiting time for it was about 45 minutes. When the last guests in the group finally got their food, the first ones were already being cleared away. The one bottle of Worcestershire sauce (diluted) had to be enough for the whole table. The drinks also took forever to arrive, a mess. Anyone who has to sit at the back of the big table is truly trapped. We left the restaurant stressed. Ambiance is otherwise quite interesting.

This was our second time there. We took a detour because we liked it so much last time. Unfortunately they are too far away, otherwise we would become regulars. The service is really great. Despite the fact that the house is on fire, the cat in the mousetrap remains super relaxed, calm and keeps an overview. It's very familiar and working together is great. When the cuckoo calls, the food comes and it tastes really good. No matter what you use, you can taste the love and passion in every dish. A reservation would be ideal, but even without it, it is somehow possible. We would go there again at any time. Please don't change anything! It is always an experience to come to this rustic inn, which has been designed with great attention to detail. Visit it and see for yourself, you will love it.

From the outside you wouldn't expect it to be so quaint inside. Service also tries to provide quick service on buses. I take my hat off.

We were in a group for dinner. The restaurant has a beer garden, where we also sat down. We were able to put the tables together. For drinks we chose Stupps beer, which comes from a small private brewery in the neighboring town and tastes very tasty. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The service was very nice and friendly. Definitely my recommendation. Gladly again.

We ordered the robber's meal for 8 people. As soon as we walked into the restaurant we were greeted with fresh bread, wild garlic butter and a schnapps. The starter soup was the start. The main course included various types of meat, vegetables and dumplings. Everything was very plentiful. As soon as something was gone, the staff added more. At the end there was ice cream. The food was very tasty and everyone was more than full. The drinks and cocktails were great. The staff was super friendly and made sure that we felt very comfortable. I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank the Mausefalle staff for the lovely evening.

Family celebration with “robber dinner”, an event with “entertainment, music and dancing” turned out to be a complete failure. There was no entertainment whatsoever, apart from old hits from the radio. The food was unimaginative and completely overpriced. What a disappointment! When asked, the answer was that “information on the homepage is not binding”. Sad and not even open to criticism. Not recommendable!

I was in rehab and we went there last evening. So inconspicuous from the outside and, for me, memories of youth on the inside. A rustic, cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. Uriges Restaurant mit toller Deko überall. Essen war lecker, Portionen okay, Preis/Leistung war dafür i.O. Service total nett. Liegt etwas abseits der Innenstadt an einer wenig befahrenen Straße. Wir können es weiterempfehlen 😊

Het was erg druk en we hadden niet gereserveerd. Maar als we het niet erg vonden om wat langer te wachten konden we hier toch eten. We hebben hier hee gegeten. Ook de wijn was prima (en niet duur)

Wunderschönes Gasthaus / Kneipe. Das essen Ist köstlich Und die Bedienung Ist Freundlich. Die Deko ist sehr schön gestaltet und man hat das Gefühl in der Zeit zurück versetzt zu sein. Als es noch Räuber gab die ihren nächsten Überfall auf einen Händler planten. Werde beim nächsten mal gerne das Räuberessen in Anspruch nehmen.

Die Location ist nett aber , wurden gerade bei halb leeren Lokal oder weniger und auf vielen Tischen kein reserviert Schild, von einer kopfschüttelnd und wortkarken Bedienung wieder abgewiesen , in Bayern ist uns so ein seltsam wirkendes gastfreundliches Verhalten jedenfalls nicht so geläufig .... wir kommen mit Sicherheit nicht mehr, werden das auch nicht weiterempfehlen, da wir ja nicht mal das vielleicht gute Essen testen konnten , herzlichen Glückwunsch sag ich nur , ....
