Very good food and the best beer

Big praise to the entire team, but especially to the kitchen!!! So I have to give my review straight away before I forget. Yes, we are currently still sitting on site.😉 Beer cocktail, the house beers, 1x roulade, 1x involtini, 1x stuffed gnocchi and the rump steak with the homemade Maccaire potatoes and wild broccoli... Ambience, food, staff excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Nice restaurant. Friendly service. Unfortunately there is no menu on the website. The roulades were a bit small. As a greeting from the kitchen there was a homemade paprika cream with 1 slice of bread. I asked for a little more bread for the cream. The bill then showed 3 slices of toast for 0.50 euros each. Which is ok if you say it beforehand. Unfortunately you didn't. Card payment possible.

The ambience and food are really great. All types of beer are recommended and can also be ordered as a beer test. Unfortunately, the service staff wasn't quite as quick as expected during our last visit, but if you enjoy the beer and perhaps an appetizer, you can easily bridge the waiting time. Don't forget to order supplies in good time! Cheers and bon appetit.

Beautifully designed hospitality with good cuisine and friendly staff.

We made a reservation by phone for Saturday evening, which made sense. The “Bierfein” looked very appealing from the outside, but it looked even more attractive inside and on the terrace. The service staff is nice, courteous and in the right place at the right time. The drinks are well chilled, we recommend the “Try Beer”, served on a 6-serve board. There was something for every taste. The food was served hot, in reasonable portions and very attractive to the eye. If you are in BaLie and want to eat and drink well, we can absolutely recommend the “Bierfein”. We say thank you for this lovely evening.

The new restaurant “bierfein” is a win for the spa town of Bad Liebenstein. The exquisite food and drinks, the quick, friendly service allowed us to experience what it means to be king as a guest. Thank you very much, we'll be back!

All in all, a really nice shop! Great food, great service and delicious beer! The name is program! Live music every now and then - with great bands! The atmosphere is personal and not uptight, you just feel comfortable and warmly welcomed! Keep it up!!!

We went to this restaurant for dinner today. Waiting for food for over an hour! Staff completely overloaded. Everyone here is called the first name, which is not appropriate. Food was overall ok but nothing special from my point of view.

Of the restaurants we ate in in Bad Liebenstein, we enjoyed it here the best.

We had reserved a table for 7 p.m., were allowed to decide where we wanted to sit and received the menus quite quickly. At the beginning the waitress came to the table quite often, and since we were told that several dishes were not available, we needed a moment to decide. When we made our choice, no one came to our table for ages and the service staff often walked past our table. When we finally ordered the food after 40 minutes, we received the food about half an hour later. We had pork schnitzel with asparagus, potatoes and hollandaise sauce, this meal was very tasty and also sufficient. Then we had the rump steak, which was requested medium rare and was served well done. There wasn't any broccoli either; after repeated requests, fried cauliflower was served as an alternative. When we were almost finished eating, the potato thalers for the rump steak were served. These were not cooked through and therefore could not be eaten. We are very dissatisfied and will not be visiting the restaurant again in the near future. When you pay so much for your food, you expect the same quality

Good beer, high quality, modern dishes. Very courteous, nice staff. Waiting times between dishes are just right. Slightly higher priced (two people, starter/main/dessert + drinks approx. €100).

Super chic and modern shop in Bad Liebenstein. We were served very friendly. The service was top. The food too. My goulash was super tender and the dumplings were deliciously soft. The others were also satisfied. We also had the beer tasting. Maybe a little suggestion. We got all the beers at once. Over time, some became stale because you can't drink them all at once. Maybe the beers can be served twice. We will be back definitely.

The small beer variations invite you to try them and you will receive great advice. We were very lucky that there was live music playing during our visit, which sweetened our meal. DISAPPOINTING - unfortunately the great ambience and the promising menu were not convincing in the end. The variety of beers only existed on the menu - unfortunately some beers were already out. A tasting of the other types of beer was not possible or only possible after 2 hours due to a lack of tasting glasses. The service was poor and overwhelmed - long waiting times and forgotten dishes were the order of the day that evening. Despite the good food, the overall impression was not satisfactory.

Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen und 6 Kindern im Restaurant. Wir haben 1 3/4 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet (mit Kindern!!!). Der Service war unterirdisch. Im Lokal war schlechte Luft und viel zu warm. Es gibt offensichtlich keine Organisation im Service, es kam jedes Mal eine andere Bedienung an den Tisch. Rückfragen wo das Essen bleibt wurden mit „Alles gut“ und „noch paar Minütchen“ abgetan. Gäste die eine Stunde nach uns gekommen waren bekamen weit vor uns das Essen. Irgendwann hat man dann auch keinen Hunger mehr. Als das Essen kam, war der Spargel hart, die Sauce Hollandaise hatte keinen Geschmack. Die Klöße Gulasch/ Rouladen waren ok. Keine Entschuldigung von Seiten des Personal, weder beim Servieren noch bei Vorlage der Rechnung. Keine freundliche Verabschiedung. Wir können das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Only 5 stars are possible here! Sensational food, a cream of asparagus soup I've never seen presented like this before, homemade lemon hollandaise for asparagus, beer amisu made from beer from the local brewery. Sensational!!! Beautiful terrace, well-kept, modern atmosphere.

We spontaneously came here for dinner. Despite this, a table was reserved for 8:30 p.m. The food was super tasty. The service was also very friendly. Unfortunately, because the kitchen closed at 9 p.m., we didn't receive any more dessert. (Information about this only came after the dessert was ordered) It's a shame, then no more guests should be accepted so late. Hot spots or blankets would be recommended for cool summer nights.

The location was great. The tables are not too close to the neighboring tables and the quality of the restaurant is clearly visible. We were greeted warmly and shown to the table. In total we were 10 adults. Unfortunately there were a few problems. Unfortunately, four products from the already small menu were no longer available. That is not how it works. One or two is OK. Personally, I wasn't told that the chip boats were empty and simply put potato thalers on the plate. I would have preferred sweet potato fries. As agreed, friends brought pasta with the rump steak (since there was unfortunately nothing as a side dish). But I also left out the braised mushrooms. For whatever reason. Of the 3 additional sauces we ordered, only 2 were brought. With 2 people and costing just under €100 it should work better. Otherwise, what we got as food was great. When I ordered the schnitzel there were even two on the plate. That's great. And the mushroom starter was also great. They have great types of beer...

Had a successful evening at a business lunch with 3 colleagues. Clear menu with a balanced offering of all freshly prepared dishes at fair prices. Attentive, friendly service, the food was on point and served quickly. And: the hollandaise for the asparagus is not straight from the bag. Chapeau. 👍The Bierfein is really a gastronomic enrichment for Bad Liebenstein. Last but not least, 6 delicious types of Stubbs beer.

Very, very nice restaurant - stylishly decorated to match the theme - great bar - great service. Finally! Keep it up! All the food at our table arrived in time and the plates were finally hot - unfortunately I miss that too often with others. This definitely won't be our last visit when we're home! Excellent food, very good beer from a local microbrewery and homemade lemonade. The price-performance ratio is really great. What is on offer is worth every euro. What I would like to emphasize at this point is the great service. We were there today with our 8 month old daughter and two of the waitresses teased her the entire time and played with her briefly each time they came over. We were able to eat in peace and felt more than welcome. We won't forget this evening in a hurry, thank you to the whole team. 😀

Visited the restaurant at lunchtime based on a recommendation. The service was very nice and friendly but a bit unfocused. After a while I had to ask again what I had ordered over the drink and my food. It took over an hour for my dish to be served, even though the restaurant was only moderately busy. On a positive note, I would like to mention that I enjoyed the schnitzel with fries. I'm sorry but this restaurant won't see me again.

This evening wasn't the first time we visited the Bierfein and all we can say is: We'd be happy to do it again at any time! You can enjoy yourself here in an attractive, modern, cozy atmosphere. The dishes are very tasty, the staff is friendly, polite and is always available to help and advise. The waiting time for the food is also absolutely fine, today it was quite full and still the main course was served after about 30 minutes, absolutely okay.

Here you can get Stupps beer in all variations, simply delicious! Service top, kitchen top! We'd love to come back!

“Dive into a world full of taste experiences and discover the culinary creations…”: Unfortunately served on cold plates! Therefore, you shouldn't take too much time when "dipping" it, otherwise the food will get cold. Other than that, it was very good! Nice ambience, good selection of food and drinks, friendly and fast service! Reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back.

Very good home-style cuisine, sufficiently large portions are the plus of the location. Reservation is recommended, the service would be the final icing on the cake Fitting to get the 5th star there too.

I had such a good time at the Thuringia exhibition with the people from the Stupps Brewery that I decided to go to Bad Liebenstein as a hiking destination on Sunday. After we had hiked a big, big loop and I, we arrived hungry at the Bierfein at 2:00 p.m. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to get something hearty to eat at this time, although there is nothing on the website about kitchen opening times. Even after direct request, there was no flexibility. This once again confirms my image of Thuringian gastronomy and makes me increasingly take my own food with me on hikes and avoid visiting restaurants.

After a long drive we were looking for something to eat and relax. Perfect location. We can definitely recommend it.

Seldom eaten as well as here. It was very delicious. The waitresses are very friendly and the location is very modern and beautifully decorated.

We had a very friendly waitress and the food here deserves an A. The duck breast and the schnitzel are highly recommended.

Hoping for a delicious dinner with five people around 5 p.m. Very manageable map of which there was still a lot left. Tapas starter with six prawns and five champions also very manageable. Shrimp plate with a few shrimps and some salad for twenty euros was quite daring. The tomato soup in a glass was manageable after a few spoonfuls for €8. Waiting time for all snacks 45 minutes with three tables occupied. We found the prices for the main courses excessive and did not match the price-performance ratio, location and surroundings.

We had the Valentine's Day menu and it was sensational. We would love to come back!!!!

Great food, friendly service, fast delivery, clear recommendation

On the recommendation of a colleague, we spontaneously went to "bierfein" yesterday and were incredibly lucky to get a table. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated, a mix of cozy and industrial chic. Everything looks very high quality and carefully chosen. A great atmosphere where you immediately feel welcome. Our waitress Doreen also took great care of us, answered questions about the dishes and made recommendations. The restaurant was at times fully booked, but the entire service staff was always on point and always friendly. We never had to wait more than a few minutes for drinks and we were asked several times if everything was OK or if we had any requests. The food is not “cheap”, but it is very high quality, tasty and, above all, freshly prepared! We waited about 25 minutes for our main courses, which is really great for freshly prepared dishes. In fact, we would have expected it to be longer. The common thread “beer” runs through almost all dishes. Even a “Bieramisu” is offered. A bonus was also the solo entertainer, who provided nice background music. The beer garden is certainly great in summer too. We would happily eat here again at any time. A reservation is absolutely necessary, especially on weekends!

Very nice restaurant, nice service and good food. The menu is small but perfectly adequate, there is something for every taste.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed with the food. 3 out of 4 adults were completely dissatisfied with the food. Even the children didn't eat their meals. The only thing that tasted good was the beer. We waited 1.5 hours for main courses even though there were still free tables. I've never had such a bad meal and I definitely can't recommend it. We skipped desserts because of the main courses.

Very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and they gave me an explanation of each type of beer they have. We had a very good dinner, top quality meat, I recommend the Hasselback Rumpsteak. The hop beer they have is spectacular and the desserts are very original. We went with our children and they loved the Kleines Schnitzel. We will return and recommend!!!!

Top address. Very comfortable, not too big. Very good menu, great food and good drinks. I had Stupps red beer as a shandy and the schnitzel. Brilliant both. Very small criticism: A bit loud music, which not everyone will like (rocky, soulful). A mix would be good here.

Die Schweinestreifen haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Getränke waren etwas zu kalt, aber das Eis war wieder toll.

Muss Man unbedingt hin, wenn man in Bad Liebenstein ist. Essen ist echt lecker, man muss auch unbedingt die Biercocktails Prinzessin, echt lecker. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Gerne wieder.

Sehr leckeres Restaurant, etwas Hochpreissig und sehr sehr geringe Auswahl an Speisen. Der Parkplatz ist auch mehr als Dürftig und für nicht annähernd genug Besucher ausgelegt. Die WC Tür geht nach außen auf, dort befindet sich aber direkt der Ständer mit den Jacken an dem man jedes mal vorbei schrammt. (Die Garderobe müsste einen festen Platz bekommen). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und macht seinen Job sehr gut. Bei der Reservierung müsste man dem Gast auch klar verständlich erklären das es 2 Abteile gibt einmal hinten im Restaurant wo man praktisch direkt auf der Bar sitzt und auch alles mit bekommt und im Vorderen Bereich mit Ausblick auf den noch nicht vorhandenen Parkplatz. Alles in Allem hat es uns geschmeckt aber ist ehr nur für Gäste mit größeren Geldbeutel geeignet. Nicht für Familien (es gibt keine Kinderkarte)

Ein wunderbares Restaurant, das mit seiner Vielfalt an leckeren Bieren und außerordentlich schmackhaften Speisen punktet. Das Ambiente ist sehr modern, der Service hervorragend und die Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend. Parkplätze sind in direkter Nähe vorhanden. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir hatten nicht reserviert, was aber kein Problem war. Der Service war richtig gut! Die Auswahl an Speisen bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Unübertroffen ist aber die Auswahl an Bierköstlichkeiten mit Hinweise auf die passende Speiseauswahl. Sehr positiv empfanden wir auch das Interieur der Location, sei es die Bar oder das Design der Sitzmöglichkeiten vor der Bar. Ein gelungener Aufenthalt Tip: man kann verschiedene Biersorten vor Ort käuflich erwerben.

Das Essen war hervorragend, der Service hat sich viel Mühe gegeben. Das Ambiente ist zwar sehr modern, doch leider nicht ausgereift. Die Sitzbänke sind extrem rutschig, so dass man dauerhaft zu tun hat, nicht runter zu rutschen. Die Tische an der Bar sind extrem unruhig und es zieht durch die Eingangstür. Jeder der auf die Toilette möchte, läuft an einem vorbei. Und es ist extrem laut. Und dann kam noch ein Alleinunterhalter. Der hat zwar toll gesungen, aber eine Unterhaltung mit Freunden war dadurch absolut unmöglich. Fazit: fürs Essen würde ich wiederkommen, der Rest ist durchgefallen.

Leckeres (etwas hochpreisiges) Essen, loungemusic, tolle Einrichtung. Einziger Kritikpunkt, wenn Personal ausfällt, sollte nicht so laut darüber diskutiert werden, das Gäste alles an den Hochtischen mitbekommen.

Wir waren heute dort mit einer Gruppe essen. Das Essen selber war wirklich hervorragend. Aber wenn wir 7 Getränke bestellen, dann sollte das klappen. Wenn man dann schon darauf hinweist, dass ein Getränk fehlt und man dann locker noch mal 10 Minuten auf eine Apfelschorle wartet, dann ist das einfach zu lang. Es wurde während des Essens einmal gefragt, ob das Essen in Ordnung sei. Es wurde allerdings vom Personal selber nicht gefragt, ob wir zum Beispiel neue Getränke bräuchten. Wenn wir die Hand gehoben haben, haben wir die bekommen. Aber halt nicht von alleine. Auch haben wir die Dessert Karte nur auf Nachfrage bekommen. Das Ambiente in dem Restaurant ist wirklich super. Aber ich glaube das Personal muss sich noch ein bisschen besser einspielen. Ich würde trotzdem wieder hingehen.

Hallo, ich bin sehr begeistert vom Angebot. Nach einen ausgiebigen Lauf am Abend konnte ich mich hier wieder stärken. Einschließlich einer kleiner Achtsamkeit vom Gastgeber hat mir alles sehr gefallen. Das Dressing zum Salat, die Gewürze und das außergewöhnliche Bieramisou war fantastisch. 😊

Essen war gut. Speisekarte überschaubar, was aber nicht schlimm war. Allerdings mussten wir 1,5 Stunden auf das Essen warten. Wie kann das sein bei 7 Gerichten auf der Karte? In der Wartezeit haben wir gerade 2 Getränke bestellen können. Schneller war die Bedienung nicht. Am Ablauf müsste gearbeitet werden. Die Einstellung des Personals zum Job empfand ich positiv. Auch die zwei Jungs hinter der Bar hatten wohl sichtlich Freude an ihrer Arbeit. Aber wir hatten Durst.

Essen,Service und Ambiente alles top. Super, kinderliebe Bedienung. Das Bier und das Essen war mega. Wir fragen uns immer noch wie der Koch das Schnitzel so zart bekommt. Im nächsten Urlaub kommen wir aufjedenfall wieder. Haben 20% Trinkgeld gegeben und fanden es noch zu wenig.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Restaurant. In Berlin wahrscheinlich ein In-Schuppen, in Bad Liebenstein eine echte Bereicherung. Kleine Auswahl an gut gemachten regionalen Speisen und Getränken. Sehr gute Whisky Auswahl. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Reservierung ist am Wochenende notwendig.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, muss man sagen! Service war auch sehr nett! Danke dafür! Essen: Portionsgröße ist für gute Esser auf jeden Fall ausreichen. Hatte vorher ne Tomatensuppe mit Bierzusatz. Die war leider sehr sehr bitter. Das Schnitzel mit Pilz- Sahnesoße wollte ich ohne Pilze bestellen. Kam dann komplett ohne Soße. Da wünsche ich mir bei 3 Hauptspeisen auf der Hauptkarte doch etwas mehr Flexibilität.

Wir haben das gegrillte Rumpfsteak gegessen, zartes Fleisch, gute Qualität. Zum Nachtisch hatten wir Bieramisu. Fazit: Nettes Personal, schöne moderne Einrichtung und das Essen hat geschmeckt und auch der Preis ist für die Qualität absolut vertretbar.
