Dear Bierfein team. Our stay in Bad Liebenstein was a special experience for two evenings. We were very surprised by the modern ambiance, the great service, and the delicious food. The selection of Stupps beers and the unique beer cocktails were an absolute highlight for us. Bartender Renato served Stupps Spritz and Mojito. Sensational enjoyment! We are thrilled! We had dinner with you for the first time yesterday and were not disappointed. I had already reserved a table last week, which is also recommended. Luckily, the weather cooperated, so we were able to sit on the terrace. The selection of dishes is straightforward yet diverse. You can already tell from the menu that the emphasis here is on quality rather than quantity. The small greeting from the kitchen, the starters, and the main courses were all exceptionally delicious. We opted for the roulade, the goulash, and the gratinated feta cheese. Personally, I found the portion too large, but that's a personal preference. The prices are more than reasonable for the excellent dishes, especially since they place such emphasis on freshness. One criticism, however, is the service: it took about a quarter of an hour to get our menus, and the wait between starters and the main course was also very long (approximately 40 minutes). There's definitely room for improvement here, and then I could give it 5 stars. Conclusion: A lovely end to my birthday, we would definitely come back.

We were in Bad Liebenstein over the weekend with our bikes 🏍️. We stopped in for dinner in the evening. We thought it was a complete success. From the food to the service to the ambiance. Simply fantastic. Keep up the good work. It was truly amazing. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The restaurant is very conveniently located in town and easily accessible. There was also ample parking. The option to sit outside and spend an evening or day there is particularly pleasant. However, there were a few things about the meal itself that dampened the impression. The wait for our dishes was around 80 minutes, and the fries were forgotten. The menu seems quite ambitious, which proves difficult when it's busy. Many dishes seem to rely heavily on deep fryers, reminiscent of Dutch takeaway cuisine—and the food tasted accordingly. I've been to many restaurants before, and I can say that the long wait times and the menu execution here were particularly negative for me. Time and expectations play a role for everyone when visiting a restaurant, and of course, everyone has their own expectations when it comes to food—be it in terms of quantity, quality, or how much time they want to invest.

A wonderful restaurant. Delicious food, phenomenal service. It was packed, and the guys and girls were absolutely fantastic. I'd love to go back again, highly recommended.

We had reserved two seats for the African menu this evening and were really looking forward to it. Since I couldn't remember whether it was 6 or 7 p.m., I called again at lunchtime. They told me there were no seats reserved in our name and who had taken the reservation. They even asked us where we wanted to sit! The nice gentleman on the other end assured us that he would sort it out and call us back, and asked us for the phone number again. We waited in vain for a call back. We consider this an absolute no-go in hospitality and an insult to the guest. We will avoid this restaurant and will not recommend it to anyone.

We ended up at Bierfein on a recommendation, but unfortunately, our luck was off. The ambiance was nice, the food was okay, but the service left a lot to be desired: we were served a presumably unwelcome greeting from the kitchen, questions about our food preferences weren't answered, alternative beer recommendations were unfortunately non-existent (some of the available varieties were apparently out of stock), we wasted our starters, and unfortunately, the steak wasn't proactively asked for its doneness (it ended up being completely overcooked). This, along with a few other minor service issues, brings me to this review today. I definitely wish for more service in this class.

I have to say the food was not good but the service was very nice and very hardworking

We had dinner at Bierfein last night. This time, the visit was rather chaotic. A lot of guests were inside because of the heavy rain. The very limited staff on hand were completely overwhelmed. The acoustics in the restaurant were like a major construction site. This wasn't particularly pleasant for us, especially thanks to the loud music. The food (the wait was endless) was the only highlight. Only a friendly young waiter managed to make us smile.

The staff was not only friendly and attentive, but also extremely well-informed about gluten-free diets. I felt in good hands from the very first moment. The kitchen conjured up a creative, completely gluten-free menu that truly excelled in terms of flavor. I was particularly impressed by the mushroom components, which were repeatedly used in exciting and aromatic ways in various courses – whether as the main ingredient or as a subtle detail. You can feel the passion and craftsmanship in every plate. A big thank you to the entire team – you rarely experience such consideration, quality, and warmth. I'll definitely be back!

A top-notch restaurant in Bad Liebenstein! We've rarely eaten in such a wonderful restaurant. From the open, honest, charming, and competent service to the appetizers and main courses, to the dessert (crème brûlée with real vanilla bean paste) and the espresso, everything was outstanding. We'll definitely be back!

The food, from appetizers to dessert and espresso, was excellent. The waitress was very friendly, open, and accommodating. I would definitely come back whenever I'm in town.

We were there as a group in the evening. The service was very attentive. The food was excellent. The only downside is that it closes at 10 p.m.

We visited this restaurant based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The ambiance and service were really good. The food was a disaster. The roulades were tough on the outside and dry on the inside. The dumplings were probably made from boiled potatoes and had no flavor. The schnitzel and potato wedges came from the deep fryer. The prices were way above average. I have no idea where the positive reviews come from! The photos in the reviews don't reflect reality either. We definitely won't be back.

In my opinion a very bad restaurant manager, otherwise a very nice restaurant.

It is a fine restaurant with a very good atmosphere. The service is very attentive, but sometimes overwhelmed. This means everything is average again. The problem of personnel is everywhere. The food generally looked very good and tasty. They were also well received. Unfortunately, my salmon was too dry, which I don't know any better from other guests. Maybe there is no longer a chef who can fry the fish perfectly.

The restaurant definitely has potential, but there were a few things that marred the overall impression. The beer should definitely be highlighted positively - very tasty, well chilled, with a round taste. Even if it seems a bit strange when you advertise "top regional beer" and then only offer one manufacturer (Stuppsbier) - which also comes from the brewery that is associated with the owner. Here you can test many different types, there is even a beer test where you are served smaller quantities of the different types. The starters were convincing, beautifully prepared and tasted really good. Unfortunately, the main course was disappointing: the meat (both beer meat and roulade) was too tough and dry - a shame, I would have expected much more. Maybe a slip? I had had a great rump steak on a previous visit, so I was really surprised here. The service was friendly and attentive, even when I was accidentally brought the wrong drink. But this was immediately noticed by another waiter and corrected immediately - so no drama. A strange moment, however, was the menu - two pages were missing from the front, obviously torn out of all the cards at the table, which seemed a bit dubious, especially with such an otherwise smartly designed menu. At the end there was a beer ramisu - that was really good and rounded off the evening nicely. All in all: I would definitely give the restaurant a chance again if I had the opportunity. Maybe the kitchen was just having a bad day - or it was time for another cooking rotation in Bad Liebenstein.

Unfortunately we waited half an hour until we could finally order food. We had beef goulash with dumplings and red cabbage, the red cabbage only tasted like cinnamon, the sauce was very little and not very good, the meat was partly fatty and uneatable. Then we ordered schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was on mushrooms which we didn't want and the fries were fried potato slices which tasted more like potato chips. This is very disappointing for a rather high-priced restaurant.

We reserved 4 weeks in advance. A table for 6 in the winter garden. We were finally seated at a table in the darkest corner right next to the bar. Very narrow and very loud. When we asked why we weren't seated as reserved, we were told that 95% couldn't be seated as requested. Unfortunately, the question arises as to why I offer such an option in the first place!? The price-performance ratio was not right for us. The food tasted good and looked very pretty, but the quantity was very small for the high price. The service staff were very thorough and tried hard, but they didn't keep up very well, so some drink orders vanished into thin air. The cocktail of the week was very tasty, but you should probably think about addressing it differently because apparently we were the first and only testers (to the bartender's delight) - that's a shame. The beers were great and the beer tasting option was well received. All in all, it was a rather sobering result; we won't be coming back any time soon.

After 2 years we wanted to give the Bierfein another chance because unfortunately we weren't that enthusiastic at the time. The ambience is still really great, the furniture and decoration are very attractive and you feel very comfortable. Price-performance is not given. The food is ok but unfortunately not worth it for the price. There were missing ingredients in the dishes, but they were on the menu. My cocktail had a lump of sugary syrup in it, which was also apologized for by the waitress. The menu described peach syrup, but unfortunately it had no taste at all. Unfortunately, it is also disappointing that dishes are no longer available every time I visit. The service staff make an effort, but are not present enough to order drinks or dessert again. The concept has potential; Maybe we'll give the Bierfein another chance in two years.

Unfortunately the placement of our table marred our evening. We originally made a reservation for six people and booked a table in the winter garden. However, since two guests became ill at short notice, we informed you in time to change the reservation to four people. To our regret, we were then assigned a table right next to the bar. The resulting noises, particularly the loud behavior of the bartender while preparing cocktails and the repeated banging of the glass bottles in the metal containers, significantly affected the ambience - we felt more like we were in a workshop than in a restaurant. In addition, the live music in the winter garden took a back seat. This led to the decision to leave the restaurant quickly after the meal instead of tasting more beers as planned. We hope that you take this feedback as constructive criticism. If you have any further inquiries, we will be happy to address them

We were looking forward to a lovely evening. The table was reserved by us a week in advance and confirmed by the restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant canceled it by phone 30 minutes before the reservation. Very annoying, especially since you can hardly get a table anywhere else on Saturday evenings.

Well, I'm not sure because the fruit cake (plum and cherry cake) that was served wasn't that tasty because the base was not a yeast cake but rather a shortcrust pastry. It's not my taste.

Nicely decorated restaurant. Very solid food without any extravagances, the pork fillet schnitzel is worth the money, the side dishes are decent and sufficient. Good to very good beer rounds the whole thing off. My impression of the service is mixed, the two ladies did a good job, but the young colleague still seems to need some practice, that was really poor, maybe he just had a really bad day, that happens to all of us . Overall a good experience and a recommended place.

So first of all the food was very tasty but it arrived a bit too cold, so we had to wait a long time for our food. Guests who arrived after us received their food before us. The service staff would be very brisk and a bit unfriendly and too direct. Unfortunately my portion was also very small. I'm not sure if we'll eat there again.

So honestly....great ambience, NOTHING behind it!! Juicy prices, but absolute canteen food. Prepared like in a canteen. Carelessly arranged plates, like they were slapped down and shat on!!! To be honest, we were really annoyed. My potato soup arrived at the table just lukewarm. We had to let it warm up again. Then I ordered a salad bowl with chicken strips, but I ordered peppers and cucumbers. What did I get?? A loveless "bowl" with colorful salad with 2 slices of bread! Forgotten chicken, not nicely prepared, not even anything else on it... the kitchen has to come up with something. Do you also have mushrooms or a slice of egg or something else to garnish?!? In any case, absolutely loveless, unimaginative and ultimately pretty brazenly EXPENSIVE, I really can't describe it any other way. The money we left behind just wasn't worth it. My husband also received an absolutely carelessly prepared meal, like in a canteen. No decorative lettuce leaf, no slice of orange or herbs or or or... absolutely carelessly packed on the plate and off to the guest!!! The guest is then so stupid and also pays for it!!! We will never come to you again. But it definitely doesn't fool other people anymore. Absolutely overpriced and carelessly slapped onto the plate. Has absolutely NOTHING to do with your advertising images shown here!! An absolute disgrace!!! Never again !!!!

Went there last night for 2 people and spent a very pleasant 1 1/2 hours with delicious homemade and regional specialties. The service was also top, but applications from potential new employees should not be commented on negatively by the human resources manager directly in front of the customers (for data protection reasons alone). It's a shame, this has somewhat deteriorated the otherwise impeccable impression of the restaurant.

Nice card, small but something for every taste. Good selection of drinks with a focus on regional beer. Service also good. However, the restaurant is very loud because there are far too many seats. Eating the very good dishes is simply no fun, and it's very difficult to have a conversation unless you like to shout. Here fewer (places) would be more. It's also not fun to sit on bar stools during a multi-course meal.

If you go out to eat in Bad Liebenstein, then here at Bierfein. Very friendly and well-trained staff. All dressed very elegantly. The food tasted very good and there are experimental approaches to trying out new things. E.g. Pumpkin lemonade Or beer cake A great restaurant. Thank you for the professionalism. Keep it up!
