Pleasant restaurant with good service and delicious food

We were there as a group in the evening. The service was very attentive. The food was excellent. The only downside is that it closes at 10 p.m.

We visited this restaurant based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The ambiance and service were really good. The food was a disaster. The roulades were tough on the outside and dry on the inside. The dumplings were probably made from boiled potatoes and had no flavor. The schnitzel and potato wedges came from the deep fryer. The prices were way above average. I have no idea where the positive reviews come from! The photos in the reviews don't reflect reality either. We definitely won't be back.

In my opinion a very bad restaurant manager, otherwise a very nice restaurant.

It is a fine restaurant with a very good atmosphere. The service is very attentive, but sometimes overwhelmed. This means everything is average again. The problem of personnel is everywhere. The food generally looked very good and tasty. They were also well received. Unfortunately, my salmon was too dry, which I don't know any better from other guests. Maybe there is no longer a chef who can fry the fish perfectly.

The restaurant definitely has potential, but there were a few things that marred the overall impression. The beer should definitely be highlighted positively - very tasty, well chilled, with a round taste. Even if it seems a bit strange when you advertise "top regional beer" and then only offer one manufacturer (Stuppsbier) - which also comes from the brewery that is associated with the owner. Here you can test many different types, there is even a beer test where you are served smaller quantities of the different types. The starters were convincing, beautifully prepared and tasted really good. Unfortunately, the main course was disappointing: the meat (both beer meat and roulade) was too tough and dry - a shame, I would have expected much more. Maybe a slip? I had had a great rump steak on a previous visit, so I was really surprised here. The service was friendly and attentive, even when I was accidentally brought the wrong drink. But this was immediately noticed by another waiter and corrected immediately - so no drama. A strange moment, however, was the menu - two pages were missing from the front, obviously torn out of all the cards at the table, which seemed a bit dubious, especially with such an otherwise smartly designed menu. At the end there was a beer ramisu - that was really good and rounded off the evening nicely. All in all: I would definitely give the restaurant a chance again if I had the opportunity. Maybe the kitchen was just having a bad day - or it was time for another cooking rotation in Bad Liebenstein.

Unfortunately we waited half an hour until we could finally order food. We had beef goulash with dumplings and red cabbage, the red cabbage only tasted like cinnamon, the sauce was very little and not very good, the meat was partly fatty and uneatable. Then we ordered schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel was on mushrooms which we didn't want and the fries were fried potato slices which tasted more like potato chips. This is very disappointing for a rather high-priced restaurant.

We reserved 4 weeks in advance. A table for 6 in the winter garden. We were finally seated at a table in the darkest corner right next to the bar. Very narrow and very loud. When we asked why we weren't seated as reserved, we were told that 95% couldn't be seated as requested. Unfortunately, the question arises as to why I offer such an option in the first place!? The price-performance ratio was not right for us. The food tasted good and looked very pretty, but the quantity was very small for the high price. The service staff were very thorough and tried hard, but they didn't keep up very well, so some drink orders vanished into thin air. The cocktail of the week was very tasty, but you should probably think about addressing it differently because apparently we were the first and only testers (to the bartender's delight) - that's a shame. The beers were great and the beer tasting option was well received. All in all, it was a rather sobering result; we won't be coming back any time soon.

After 2 years we wanted to give the Bierfein another chance because unfortunately we weren't that enthusiastic at the time. The ambience is still really great, the furniture and decoration are very attractive and you feel very comfortable. Price-performance is not given. The food is ok but unfortunately not worth it for the price. There were missing ingredients in the dishes, but they were on the menu. My cocktail had a lump of sugary syrup in it, which was also apologized for by the waitress. The menu described peach syrup, but unfortunately it had no taste at all. Unfortunately, it is also disappointing that dishes are no longer available every time I visit. The service staff make an effort, but are not present enough to order drinks or dessert again. The concept has potential; Maybe we'll give the Bierfein another chance in two years.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed lunch. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent service - the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The dishes not only tasted excellent, but were also beautifully presented. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a culinary highlight.

Super nice service! 5 stars! Very tasty beer! 5 stars! Delicious appetizer! 5 stars! which unfortunately doesn't apply to the main course, as the meat in all the beef main courses was very tough and mixed... Unfortunately not worth the money.

Modern, appealing ambiance. A selection of house beers is available. The food selection is inspired by the house beer and freshly prepared. Great fries! A bit of a long wait.

No, too expensive, old cake and coffee is recommended as a "special offer".

Great ambience...but everything we had was without spice Drying meat... We also mentioned it to the service and were offered an espresso as compensation. No-go Pasta 16.50... I can do it better at home.... Six months ago everything was better

We were looking forward to a lovely evening. The table was reserved by us a week in advance and confirmed by the restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant canceled it by phone 30 minutes before the reservation. Very annoying, especially since you can hardly get a table anywhere else on Saturday evenings.

Dear Bierfein team, First of all, we would like to thank you very much for the delicious food and the exceptional beers - the culinary experience was truly first-class. Unfortunately the placement of our table marred our evening. We originally made a reservation for six people and booked a table in the winter garden. However, since two guests became ill at short notice, we informed you in time to change the reservation to four people. To our regret, we were then assigned a table right next to the bar. The resulting noises, particularly the loud behavior of the bartender while preparing cocktails and the repeated banging of the glass bottles in the metal containers, significantly affected the ambience - we felt more like we were in a workshop than in a restaurant. In addition, the live music in the winter garden took a back seat. This led to the decision to leave the restaurant quickly after the meal instead of tasting more beers as planned. Well, I'm not sure because the fruit cake (plum and cherry cake) that was served wasn't that tasty because the base was not a yeast cake but rather a shortcrust pastry. It's not my taste.

The Bierfein restaurant in Bad Liebenstein impresses with its appealing ambience. The menu is clear, but in my opinion the prices are rather high. Overall, the visit was a pleasant experience, but I wouldn't choose another one.

Nicely decorated restaurant. Very solid food without any extravagances, the pork fillet schnitzel is worth the money, the side dishes are decent and sufficient. Good to very good beer rounds the whole thing off. My impression of the service is mixed, the two ladies did a good job, but the young colleague still seems to need some practice, that was really poor, maybe he just had a really bad day, that happens to all of us . Overall a good experience and a recommended place.

The otherwise cleverly arranged plates and great tasting dishes didn't convince us and didn't taste good either. There were also long waiting times that were excused with an espresso. Unfortunately, it was not possible for 5 people to eat together because each meal was at the table at a very different time. This could also be observed at other tables, otherwise the food was very tasty.

So first of all the food was very tasty but it arrived a bit too cold, so we had to wait a long time for our food. Guests who arrived after us received their food before us. The service staff would be very brisk and a bit unfriendly and too direct. Unfortunately my portion was also very small. I'm not sure if we'll eat there again.

So honestly....great ambience, NOTHING behind it!! Juicy prices, but absolute canteen food. Prepared like in a canteen. Carelessly arranged plates, like they were slapped down and shat on!!! To be honest, we were really annoyed. My potato soup arrived at the table just lukewarm. We had to let it warm up again. Then I ordered a salad bowl with chicken strips, but I ordered peppers and cucumbers. What did I get?? A loveless "bowl" with colorful salad with 2 slices of bread! Forgotten chicken, not nicely prepared, not even anything else on it... the kitchen has to come up with something. Do you also have mushrooms or a slice of egg or something else to garnish?!? In any case, absolutely loveless, unimaginative and ultimately pretty brazenly EXPENSIVE, I really can't describe it any other way. The money we left behind just wasn't worth it. My husband also received an absolutely carelessly prepared meal, like in a canteen. No decorative lettuce leaf, no slice of orange or herbs or or or... absolutely carelessly packed on the plate and off to the guest!!! The guest is then so stupid and also pays for it!!! We will never come to you again. But it definitely doesn't fool other people anymore. Absolutely overpriced and carelessly slapped onto the plate. Has absolutely NOTHING to do with your advertising images shown here!! An absolute disgrace!!! Never again !!!!

The service is friendly and focused on ensuring a pleasant stay. The food is top - a fine selection of tasty dishes and something for everyone. The atmosphere is cozy and decorated seasonally. We always have a nice stay at Bierfein.

Went there last night for 2 people and spent a very pleasant 1 1/2 hours with delicious homemade and regional specialties. The service was also top, but applications from potential new employees should not be commented on negatively by the human resources manager directly in front of the customers (for data protection reasons alone). It's a shame, this has somewhat deteriorated the otherwise impeccable impression of the restaurant.

Nice card, small but something for every taste. Good selection of drinks with a focus on regional beer. Service also good. However, the restaurant is very loud because there are far too many seats. Eating the very good dishes is simply no fun, and it's very difficult to have a conversation unless you like to shout. Here fewer (places) would be more. It's also not fun to sit on bar stools during a multi-course meal.

If you go out to eat in Bad Liebenstein, then here at Bierfein. Very friendly and well-trained staff. All dressed very elegantly. The food tasted very good and there are experimental approaches to trying out new things. E.g. Pumpkin lemonade Or beer cake A great restaurant. Thank you for the professionalism. Keep it up!

There were 7 of us there on a Friday. Reservation was completely uncomplicated. Liederwilli played that evening - great atmosphere, great music. The food was also great. The catfish fillet and the pepper steak are awesome. Fries too! Beer tasting is also recommended. And the beer brandy is a delight! Something very special has really been created here. The staff also enjoy their job and are very, very friendly. Thanks for the great evening! See you again soon

We were absolutely not satisfied. Food: After a wait of 55 minutes we were served a pepper steak that was great was dry and fried to death. Service: Neither any information nor an apology for the long waiting time. Another drink was brought to us after the third request. Also reminded 3 times how to pay. We received no response to our criticism. Ambiance: Although there were shaded areas, we had to use the area that had been reserved for us.

Big praise to the entire team, but especially to the kitchen!!! So I have to give my review straight away before I forget. Yes, we are currently still sitting on site.😉 Beer cocktail, the house beers, 1x roulade, 1x involtini, 1x stuffed gnocchi and the rump steak with the homemade Maccaire potatoes and wild broccoli... Ambience, food, staff excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Nice restaurant. Friendly service. Unfortunately there is no menu on the website. The roulades were a bit small. As a greeting from the kitchen there was a homemade paprika cream with 1 slice of bread. I asked for a little more bread for the cream. The bill then showed 3 slices of toast for 0.50 euros each. Which is ok if you say it beforehand. Unfortunately you didn't. Card payment possible.

The ambience and food are really great. All types of beer are recommended and can also be ordered as a beer test. Unfortunately, the service staff wasn't quite as quick as expected during our last visit, but if you enjoy the beer and perhaps an appetizer, you can easily bridge the waiting time. We made a reservation by phone for Saturday evening, which made sense. The “Bierfein” looked very appealing from the outside, but it looked even more attractive inside and on the terrace. The service staff is nice, courteous and in the right place at the right time. The drinks are well chilled, we recommend the “Try Beer”, served on a 6-serve board. There was something for every taste. The food was served hot, in reasonable portions and very attractive to the eye. If you are in BaLie and want to eat and drink well, we can absolutely recommend the “Bierfein”. We say thank you for this lovely evening.

The new restaurant “bierfein” is a win for the spa town of Bad Liebenstein. The exquisite food and drinks, the quick, friendly service allowed us to experience what it means to be king as a guest. Thank you very much, we'll be back!

All in all, a really nice shop! Great food, great service and delicious beer! The name is program! Live music every now and then - with great bands! The atmosphere is personal and not uptight, you just feel comfortable and warmly welcomed! Keep it up!!!

We went to this restaurant for dinner today. Waiting for food for over an hour! Staff completely overloaded. Everyone here is called the first name, which is not appropriate. Food was overall ok but nothing special from my point of view.

Of the restaurants we ate in in Bad Liebenstein, we enjoyed it here the best.

We had reserved a table for 7 p.m., were allowed to decide where we wanted to sit and received the menus quite quickly. At the beginning the waitress came to the table quite often, and since we were told that several dishes were not available, we needed a moment to decide. When we made our choice, no one came to our table for ages and the service staff often walked past our table. When we finally ordered the food after 40 minutes, we received the food about half an hour later. We had pork schnitzel with asparagus, potatoes and hollandaise sauce, this meal was very tasty and also sufficient. Then we had the rump steak, which was requested medium rare and was served well done. There wasn't any broccoli either; after repeated requests, fried cauliflower was served as an alternative. When we were almost finished eating, the potato thalers for the rump steak were served. These were not cooked through and therefore could not be eaten. We are very dissatisfied and will not be visiting the restaurant again in the near future. When you pay so much for your food, you expect the same quality
