Delicious cuisine at a high level that will make you fall in love: down-to-earth dishes in perfection. We had carp in Indian style and lamb in otherworldly style.

We walked in here by chance. The welcome was warm, good advice about the food, which tasted as advertised. Due to illness there were only two of them, which we didn't notice, we always had stress-free service with good advice. The food was a delight.

We recently hosted our wedding dinner at Coming Home and can highly recommend the restaurant! The owner and top chef Martin not only knows how to impress with culinary delights, but also impressed us in the many preliminary discussions with his friendly, calm and familiar manner. We were able to perfectly implement our wishes for a Bavarian-modern meal and had consistently positive feedback from our guests about the food and the friendly, courteous service (thanks Tobias!). We are more than happy to have hosted our celebration with Martin and his team. No matter whether inside or in the beautiful old town garden - the Coming Home can only be recommended!

Very cozy, service courteous, quite nice and on the ball. The menu is very creative and not run of the mill like in most restaurants. I ate a Cordon Bleu in a different version... Here I used my creativity and packaged the whole thing in a kind of roulade. Super tasty and simply excellent... I would be happy to come again on my next visit here in Regensburg. I have never eaten so well anywhere in Regensburg. Small menu with very tasty vegetarian options at extremely fair prices. The boss also asks personally about the guests every time. Everything is perfect, from the food to the ambience to the service.

I personally find it beautiful. August 29, 2024 We were in the beer garden. Hidden, quiet and beautiful. No rush. When kindergarten starts again, lunchtime can get a little louder. Children are allowed to do that too. Lunch menu changes again and again. Good prices for Regensburg standards without the quality of the food decreasing. By the way! A nice restaurant right near Arnulfsplatz. So it's very easy to reach. The ambience is also very nice. The service was very friendly and helpful. A big compliment to the service manager. The food tasted very good. The selection was good. The beer garden is small and beautiful. I can only recommend taking a trip to Coming Home.

Very cozy restaurant with an experimental chef. In summer, a cool little beer garden invites you to relax. Since you can only enter it via the restaurant, it is nice and quiet. We will come back!

They say... "A new broom sweeps clean" …. Old name, new tenant. …. this one sweeps very, very well. …. The dishes are regional and therefore sustainable. Short delivery routes, which means less CO2 emissions. As much as possible, all of the products are recycled. Even with the side dishes, which have to be ordered separately, you have to know that one portion is designed for two guests. Sustainable here too, because when everything is on the plate, some of it is often not eaten empty. “Waste prevention” But all of this is secondary if it didn’t taste good. It tastes good. …. And this is excellent.

Excellent cuisine, perfect attentive service, ate an excellent fried chicken and the best Kaiserschmarrn in a long time. Nicely caramelized and baked in butter. My companion ate a very good fried catfish with sauerkraut. This is quite a culinary specialty. We are already looking forward to the next time.

Very cozy place, delicious food!

I was there in the evening with 2 friends and was hoping for a nice evening. Unfortunately we were all quite disappointed. Ambiance The ambience has remained the same, so far it's okay. There is a very nice and quiet beer selection, naturally not open in winter. Everything is a little old-fashioned with a lot of deco. Less is more. service The service is OK. Drinks came straight away. It took a while to get the food, even though there were only a few guests in the restaurant. food and drinks No light, non-alcoholic beer is offered, only IPA in 0.33 liter bottles. IPA (Riedenburger Dolden Zero Alc. Free) beer is good, very full-bodied, but doesn't go well with every dish. Otherwise there is only Riedenburger alcohol-free wheat. The prices for the open wines are significantly inflated. The menus are a bit worn and should be replaced. The menu promises something new, but this is not implemented accordingly in the kitchen. I had soup of the day (potato/leek soup). It was tasteful, but a little too thick. It was probably heated in the microwave. As an intermediate course, my friend had waxy egg yolk and shavings of smoked organic Black Angus beef from Schlossgut Hauzendorf on potato straw and mushroom salad. The portion was VERY clear. He was only very partially satisfied with it. I had chicken pieces glazed with homemade sweet chili sauce with colorful carrot vegetables and puffed rice. There were two very small pieces of chicken (2 bites each). The carrot vegetables were extremely spicy (should be noted on the menu if necessary) and you could only taste the spiciness. I left it there. I didn't understand what the puffed rice crumbs were doing on the plate. It was just a crumbled puffed rice cake with no taste at all. It was very disappointing. The main course was fried chicken - marinated chicken pieces fried in a crispy breading with remoulade sauce. The chicken pieces were covered in a very thick breading. The fact that you also have to pay extra for the side dishes (fried potatoes) (€5.50) for such a dish with little input for €20 is unreasonable. Conclusion The card promises a lot, but the promises are only implemented to a very limited extent. The price/performance ratio is unreasonable. I won't be back any time soon.

Anyone who appreciates seasonal and regional cuisine has come to the right place. We were welcomed and served very friendly. The food was excellent and the price commensurate with the quality. Not cheap but definitely worth the price.

There were 6 of us, there at 6 p.m., so we didn't have to wait long to place our order. Small, delicious soup as a greeting from the kitchen. Upscale home cooking with an Austrian touch. Very good. The Kaiserschmarrn was absolutely excellent. Prices at a high level. As a suggestion, some baguette or good farmer's bread before the main course are sufficient.

Absolute recommendation! The food was extremely tasty all around and any intolerances were catered for wonderfully. We had crispy salmon trout fillet on vegetables, pink fried wild boar with red cabbage, celery fries and napkin dumplings and incredibly airy Kaiserschmarrn with plum ice cream. The greetings from the kitchen personally served by the boss were excellent and the service rounded off the evening perfectly.

Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen Abend. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet; ein sehr sehr leckeres Schnitzel mit Röstkartoffeln, vorher gab es einen Gruß aus der Küche (Blumenkohlcreme mit knusprigem Grünkohl? fein- und es wurde sogar extra für uns angepasst). Man schmeckt einfach, dass hier top Zutaten verwendet werden und alles hausgemacht ist. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und es wurde sich total nett um uns gekümmert. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und haben super gegessen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Leider habe ich vergessen ein Foto zu machen, aber es war alles so schnell weg 😅

Der Gruß aus der Küche - unerwartet (kannte ich so nicht) - ein Gedicht. :D Der hausgemachte Quittenpunsch auch sehr lecker. Das Ambiente nett und gemütlich. Kommen gerne wieder & können einen Besuch hier zweifellos weiter empfehlen.

Im Prinzip ein gutes Lokal. Freundliche Bedienung und gute Essen. Allerdings ist das große Aber der Preis. Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier gar nicht. So zahlt mal jede Beilage extra und für eine überschaubare Kartoffel Portion fast 6 Euro ist schon eine Ansage. Wirklich Schade!

Zum ersten mal beim neuen Pächter Das Essen war sehr gut wie immer. Allerdings müssen Beilagen komplett extra bestellt werden was das ganze sehr teurer macht. Niemand ist nur Fleisch oder nur Fisch eine Beilage braucht man immer.

Portionen waren sehr groß und es hat uns allen gut geschmeckt. Freundliche Bedienung. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder 😊

Essen war durchweg super. Gemüse/ Spargel auf den Punkt. Meine Freundin hatte das Rindfleisch mit Spargel. Sehr raffiniert gewürzt. Gehe auf jeden Fall wieder hin. Der Kaffee danach war ebenfalls sehr gut. Und das Geschirr war so schön. Hat Spaß gemacht.

Wir hatten für Samstag Abend reserviert. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut; Spargelcremesuppe sowie Bruschetta, dafür würden wir 5 Sternegeben. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir beide Cordon Bleu mit Bratkartoffeln. Die Bratkartoffeln waren überhaupt nicht knusprig, eher wie frisch gekocht, in Scheiben geschnitten und ein paar Zwiebeln untergehoben. Das Cordon Bleu wir nicht gewürzt, kein Pfeffer oder Salz und das Stück war etwas fleddrig und viel beim Schneiden auseinander. Dafür würden wir 3 Sterne geben. Macht in Summe 4 Sterne.

Das Essen war hervorragend! Sehr heiß serviert und liebevoll angerichtet. Vom sehr freundlichen Personal waren wir genauso beeindruckt wie von der Einrichtung und Dekoration des Restaurants. Da hat alles gepasst!!
