Open even in the off-season, with a sea view, and our pizza was excellent, absolutely delicious. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We'd gladly come back.

Great restaurant in terms of ambiance and service. Six of us spontaneously visited the restaurant one evening and got a table without a reservation. The food was very good! Pizzas cost an average of €17, which is typical for a vacation spot. We'd love to come back :)

Absolutely unfriendly staff. Lunch is served until 2 p.m., and at 2:04 p.m., our plates are taken away. Never again; we felt like a nuisance.

This was our first time here and we felt very comfortable. The mussels were excellent. The main course, which consisted of strips of entrecote with Gorgonzola sauce and spaghetti with truffle sauce, was also very tasty. The portions were generous and filling. A very nice and excellent location with Italian food. The staff makes every effort to accommodate everyone, even without reservations. All dishes are also available for takeaway. Not cheap, but worth the price.

The food was excellent, very tasty. The service was a bit condescending, rather brusque at the end. We ordered a dry and a semi-dry spritzer, but unfortunately, the wine for both spritzers came from the same bottle – unacceptable.

We arrived shortly after 5 p.m. without a reservation. The restaurant filled up quickly, and the guests were served promptly, friendly, and attentively. Italian music was playing, not too loud, and it was clean, even with the modern restrooms in the basement. The antipasti were fresh and delicious, as was the bread that accompanied them. The pizzas were large, but so fresh and delicious that we still devoured them whole. The water came with lemon slices. Very refreshing! And the espresso rounded it all off.

It was once again incredibly delicious. It's not exactly cheap, but the value for money is absolutely fine.

We were here for lunch today and had pizza from the lunch menu. It was very tasty and very well-filled. What was a bit unpleasant was that the waitress standing in the entrance area had a grumpy expression and wasn't particularly friendly when serving us. When two guests arrived at 1:35 p.m., the same waitress rather harshly informed them that the restaurant closes at 2:00 p.m. and orders are only accepted until 1:45 p.m. ?????? That's completely unacceptable. The guests also left the restaurant.

Lovely Italian restaurant with a view of the Baltic Sea! We were there for breakfast, the selection was very good, and I finally had eggs Benedict. It was delicious and plentiful. The presentation was also very nice. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely try the Italian cuisine!

I hate giving bad reviews, but this was the worst pizza I've had in a long time. 3 large salami pizzas, but we got 3 similar mini pizzas for 45 euros. Okay, right on the beach, everything's more expensive, but it's a vacation, so what? But 2 of the 3 were completely black and unfortunately, they didn't taste good either. What a pity.

We had another delicious lunch at Casa Mia today. I can't confirm some of the very negative reviews. We eat here two or three times on every vacation and have always been satisfied. The service was friendly and attentive. Our food arrived at our table within 15 minutes, and our drinks arrived immediately after ordering. We had a pesto pizza and a chicken breast salad, both from the lunch menu. Both were very good. The value for money is excellent. We would gladly return.

First of all, the pizza was very, very delicious, and the ambiance at Pizzeria Casa Mia is really nice, which was a positive for us at first. The only negative was that the restaurant was already open for breakfast, but our order wasn't taken until 12 p.m. Even though we were the first customers and the place was empty, we still had to wait about 45 minutes for our pizza. Unfortunately, this wasn't a good experience for lunch.

We had a delicious meal here and can definitely recommend it, but you should make a reservation in advance.

The food was OK, but it could be better. There were plenty of free seats, even in the evening around 6:30 p.m. The price-performance ratio was acceptable. Unfortunately, I didn't get the much-vaunted, fantastic view of and over the Baltic Sea. You can't see the beach or the Baltic Sea for all the beach chairs. The old imperial spa resorts on Usedom are better laid out. The promenade here is higher.

We've been to Kellenhusen many times, but never to Casa Mia...unfortunately! I don't know where to begin. The food...excellent, the service...always pleasant and truly friendly, the restaurant...amazing! Value for money...couldn't be better! We had a truly wonderful evening here and are already looking forward to the next time. Many thanks to the entire team! Simply fantastic! A definite recommendation!

We ate there twice in 2024. Would definitely go again. Very friendly service. The wait time for the food was perfectly reasonable, even in August. We'd be happy to go again. UPDATE, a year later (2025): The food is still good. But if you value friendly service, just move on. A 40-minute wait for pizza in a restaurant that's not even half full is also fine. You enjoy the anticipation longer... ...only to be handed the bill without asking for it and leave the restaurant. It was the end of the lunch menu... But like that? Appreciating the guest is different. So basically just ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the pizza, which fortunately the service outside wasn't responsible for. Too bad.

So, first of all, the food was okay. The pizzas were good, but some were very dark, so the crust was very dry. The price was rather expensive. The salad was nicely presented, but they had clearly skimped on the dressing, at least that's how we felt. The staff were annoyed and didn't make any effort to hide it. We received rude service, and when we asked to leave something out due to an allergy, they didn't accommodate us, even though it wouldn't have been a big deal. A small pizza we ordered arrived at our table after 10 minutes, even though the person had also ordered a salad as a starter. This then arrived with the rest of the food over an hour later. We won't be visiting this restaurant again. You don't feel welcome, your requests aren't accommodated, and you definitely have to wait too long for your food.

The food was good but the service was very bad. We wanted to eat together as a family but the staff refused. The children got their food first, our daughter finished her meal and then ours came. Our daughter had to eat alone. At the next table the family wanted to eat with the children. The staff seemed very unfriendly. I asked for short pasta (penne) for the children's dish. They said we didn't have any. My brother got tube pasta (penne) for his main course.

We spontaneously went there last night with two adults and two children and managed to get a table for four inside. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the noise level was moderate despite being full. I can't understand the criticism of the pizzas, as they are authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas: Thin, soft base, a light, slightly charred crust, everything was there, and the ingredients were delicious. The pasta was also very good. The service was very friendly and attentive despite the large number of guests. We'd be happy to come back!

The service was unfriendly. The food was okay. We ordered pizzas, and they weren't what you'd expect from a pizza restaurant. Too bad.

Since the change of ownership, the service hasn't been as attentive. Lunch portions are sufficient, but no longer incredibly tasty. The young server's cell phone is much more important to them than serving customers. We really enjoyed going there before the change of ownership. We live here permanently, so we also ate there in the winter.

If you want to go out for a really bad meal, you should try this. The pizza is dry and flavorless, the pasta dishes are abysmal and sprinkled with a pound of parsley to distract you. If you say something, the chef looks at you aggressively from the kitchen and curses you in his own language. The service is also extremely poor...except for one "older" lady who really tries hard.

By far the worst pizza I've eaten in years. A wide, dry crust with large, burnt blisters from the dough. It was supposed to be a pizza Napoli with anchovies and capers. You could have found the anchovies with a magnifying glass. On top of that, the overall price was outrageously high.

Two stars deducted. 10 meals arrived at very long intervals, and sometimes only upon request. We went there twice, and three times we forgot ingredients in the same dish. The online prices don't match the prices on site. Overall, though, it's recommended.

The ambiance and the drink selection are nice, but that's about it. The pizza is extremely dry, the ingredients are only concentrated in the middle, and the vegetables are not fresh. There was a vegetarian section on the menu with two dishes, both of which contained Parmesan cheese – as an Italian, you should know that Parmesan contains animal rennet and is therefore not vegetarian. Luckily, there were two pizzas without Parmesan, but there was no option for vegans. The service was very curt, which didn't create a holiday feeling. Unfortunately, it's really too expensive for what you get – there are much better options on the promenade. What a shame.

Unfortunately, there seems to have been a change of ownership, and the food has now become truly terrible. The value for money is no longer there at all! Yes and no. The food was very good and tasty. The service left a lot to be desired. Ordering food was okay. It seemed like the cleaning lady brought the ordered food (please don't misunderstand me). I ordered a drink from another waitress! I didn't understand anything! Later, I asked for the menu again for dessert... there was no interest enough to ask again... we paid, and we won't be coming back.

A delicious breakfast on the beach promenade in Kellenhusen. If you're feeling really hungry for breakfast, Casa Mia is the place for you. The restaurant promises a lot with its "extraordinary breakfast" banner, and it certainly delivers! Even choosing the type of breakfast isn't easy; everything from hearty to savory to French with croissants sounds delicious. I opted for the Milano breakfast because I usually only eat breakfast when my body tells me to, not out of routine. The Milano breakfast appealed to me because it's a mix of savory and sweet. So, it came with honey, jam, meat salad, cooked ham, salami, cheese, and Camembert. I could also choose between scrambled eggs and boiled eggs. I opted for the poached egg on avocado, which was listed on the menu for another breakfast, but unfortunately, this combination wasn't available. So, next time I'll be having this breakfast, I'll be back on vacation at the end of July. The place setting with toppings was more than plentiful. Since, as mentioned, I don't usually eat breakfast regularly anymore, I was all the more excited about everything on it and appreciated it. The rolls, one wheat, one multigrain, for breakfast were warm and freshly baked. They came with two slices of bread. It was more than delicious, which is why I'm once again motivated to write a review about a restaurant. 3 bonus points: First, the selection tops off with plenty of coffee, meaning the staff is happy to refill your coffee cups at no extra charge. Second, the location right on the beach promenade. Wonderful for a city dweller. The third bonus point is for the old-school style, which I rarely experience these days: the chef made his rounds with the guests, asked how they were, was open to small talk, and seemed to have his heart in the right place. I'm looking forward to seeing you again at the end of July, then with my children, who will definitely be able to share a breakfast because it's so filling. And then it will be difficult for me to choose again: poached avocado or the French version. 🙂

The Caesar salad I ordered was obviously not fresh for a while. The service was okay, but not attentive or professional, and not particularly motivated. The location on the terrace directly on the promenade with a sea view was very nice.

Six of us as a family went there last night. First of all, we weren't served for a long time until we asked. The waitress seemed obviously very annoyed with us. She was unfriendly and regularly rolled her eyes in annoyance. The food was OK. However, for an entrecote and the price, the meat on the pasta was very dry. There was no follow-up service; it was made very clear to us that guests were not welcome. When we asked if we could pay and were asked "together or separately?", the waitress started shaking her own hands and begging for us to pay together so that she wouldn't have to put up an extra bill. I've never experienced such behavior before. I've worked in the restaurant industry for nine years myself, and it's understandable that you're often stressed about time. But if you were to be so unfriendly towards other people - even guests - I would reconsider whether this is the right job for you. A real shame.

Very tasty dishes, good but not excessive selection. Despite being at full capacity, the staff were always very friendly; no one seemed annoyed or stressed. The restaurant is on the ground floor and accessible with a wheelchair or walker. I can't say whether there is a disabled-accessible restroom; I didn't go to the restroom.

Pasta, pizza, and dessert were all great. I was very disappointed with my main course 😞. I had Parmigiana alla Pollo with spaghetti in tomato sauce for €24.90. The spaghetti portion was smaller than a child's portion, and the two breaded and baked chicken fillets came from a convenience bag. For that price, you'd expect freshly prepared food. I'd get something like that from the frozen food section of the supermarket for €5.00.

It looked promising, but was unfortunately disappointing. Positive: good location, pleasant ambiance, appealing menu. The staff was mostly friendly, but seemed very incompetent (we were first left standing in the entrance area and then asked twice for our order. The cutlery was casually thrown onto the table as we walked by). When the food arrived, things unfortunately only got worse. The sauce for the filled pasta wasn't just thin, but rather watery and pretty flavorless. The rest of the dish wasn't really seasoned or well-seasoned either. The risotto was similar. The tomatoes, pine nuts, and Parmesan certainly had their own flavor, but the risotto rice itself didn't have anything close to a normal risotto consistency and (like the mushrooms) was barely seasoned and more or less tasteless. At least it was visually appealing. More expensive than restaurants in the area, which isn't justified for this meal, despite the location and ambiance. It's a shame, because the concept itself seems good.

The four of us were in Kellenhusen again for 6 days and on our last evening we ate here at Casa Mia. It was really really tasty. Price performance completely okay. If you want to eat delicious Italian food, you've come to the right place. Outside you have a great view of the Baltic Sea 😍 We will definitely come back on our next vacation. 😊

My girlfriend and I went there recently for a drink. After about 1 1/2 hours the waitress came and very rudely informed us that they were closing soon and taking a lunch break. The bill was slapped on the table. We didn't know it, I admit. We should have checked the opening times beforehand. However, she was completely annoyed just when she ordered. I have a lot of sympathy for people who work in service, but they could have reacted much more friendly. At least a great view.

With the spaghetti made from the Parmesan wheel, you can watch live how it is turned into the cheese!
