Heute Nachmittag spontan einen Tisch telefonisch reserviert. 19:30 war noch frei. Der Empfang war herzlich und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Service überaus freundlich. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne dorthin.

Top Essen und super Service - absolut zu empfehlen.

Seit vielen Jahren mein absolutes Muss-sein-Restaurant. Das Essen ist immer richtig richtig lecker und superschnell da. Der Service seit vielen Jahren "immer dieselben Gesichter ". Und die Preise sind absolut fair. Man sitzt auch draußen geschützt, dank faltbarer Überdachung. Ach so, nicht ganz unwichtig: Fleisch ist regional, vom Bauern ggü und auf jeden Fall reservieren. Edit 25.06.2025: die Preise sind wie letztes Jahr, das Essen immer noch richtig lecker. Eigentlich ist dem vom letzten Jahr nichts hinzuzufügen, ausser einem Foto Edit 21.06.26: wieder sehr lecker gefuttert. Und gleich noch mal am 26.06.26. Keine grossen Worte. Nur Fotos

Von außen etwas überholt, von innen sehr gemütlich. Sehr gute regionale Hausmannskost zu fairen Preisen. Am besten Tisch reservieren.

Ich freue mich über jeden der hier so einen tollen Besuch hatte - wir hatten dann wohl leider einfach Pech: wir haben uns nicht willkommen gefühlt. Als man dies der Kellnerin unter vier Augen mitteilte, wurde sich zusätzlich noch nicht einmal die Zeit genommen um ein kurzes Gespräch zu führen. Im Anschluss schaute die Kellnerin noch einmal am Tisch vorbei und fragte uns, ob wir noch ne Flasche Wein haben möchten. Aufgrund der Umstände haben wir dies verneint, da wir vermutlich nicht lange bleiben werden. Grund: siehe oben. Wir haben unser bestelltes Essen erhalten und die Kellnerin dann nur noch zum bezahlen wieder gesehen. Schade, dies war für uns leider ein trauriger Höhepunkt an einem besonderen Tag für uns, welchen wir letztendlich einfach feiern wollten.

In jedem Urlaub besuchen wir dieses Lokal alleine schon wegen den Windbeutel !

Beim zweiten Besuch konnte das Restaurant die gute Leistung nicht wiederholen. Das Ambiente im großen Saal Richtung Parkplatz war sehr sachlich. Zusammen mit dem hellen Licht kam wenig Gemütlichkeit auf. Mein Kotelett war sehr schmackhaft hätte jedoch bei der Auslieferung etwas wärmer sein dürfen. Ich habe das akzeptiert, weil ich hungrig war - alles gut. Sehr verärgert war ich über die gleichgültige Reaktion der Servicekraft als ich auf diesen Sachverhalt hinwies. Als sehr unglücklich habe ich 2,50 € Abschlag auf eine kleine Portion eines Wiener Schnitzels empfunden. 10% Abschlag für 60% Portion möchte ich nur einmal akzeptieren müssen - immerhin dann noch 25€. ####################### Super! Sehr freundlicher und zugewandter Service. Wir waren die letzten Gäste kurz vor Küchenschluss, sind aber trotzdem entspannt bedient worden. Das Essen war sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Ich hatte Dorsch mit Kartoffeln und Kohlgemüse, alles geschmacklich gut abgestimmt und ansprechend angerichtet. So soll's sein, Empfehlung für alle die das lesen.

Für uns bei jedem Aufenthalt in Kellenhusen eine Pflicht mindestens einmal (Meist mehrmals) das Restaurant Vogelsang zu besuchen. Ich bin 1984 zum ersten Mal hier her gekommen . Seitdem hat sich das Restaurant stetig weiter entwickelt. Heute steht es für authentische, regionale hervorragende Küche. Vielfältige Speisekarte. Tagesaktuellen Empfehlungen. Geschmacklich alles hervorragend und in höchster Qualität. Trotzdem nicht abgehoben, sondern empathisch, menschlich, authentisch. Immer freundlicher und höflicher Service. Kinderfreundlich, Hundefreundlich. Dazu hervorragendes Essen, eine ausgezeichnete Weinkarte. Wer Kellenhusen, Dahme oder die Region besucht, der sollte auch unbedingt das Restaurant Vogelsang besuchen. Vergessen habe ich noch die ausgesprochen guten und leckeren Windbeutel zum Kaffee am Nachmittag. Großartige Empfehlung und wir kommen immer immer wieder sehr gerne hierher.

Wir waren dort zum Abendessen und hatten vorher online reserviert. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und bekamen einen Tisch am Fenster. Geöffnet war an diesem Abend nur der kleinere Teil des Restaurants. Als Vorspeise hatte ich eine Zwiebelsuppe. Außerdem gab es Brot mit einem Dip und einen Salat. Alles hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Als Hauptgericht bestellten wir zwei Schollen. Was soll ich sagen: Die Schollen waren hervorragend und auch die Bratkartoffeln dazu waren sehr lecker. Ich kann nur sagen, es ist ein super Restaurant. Ich kann es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

Gestern Abend haben wir wieder mal im Restaurant Vogelsang gegessen. Ich hatte die Tagliatelle mit Linsenbolongese mit Burrata. So hat es sehr gut geschmeckt, aber der Burrata war eher ein normaler Mozzarella. Kein flüssiger Kern , wie es sich für Burrata gehört. Etwas enttäuschend. Der Pannfisch mit Bratkartoffeln war okay.

Wer zwischen Lübeck und Puttgarden wirklich gut essen will, der ist gut beraten, bei Vogelsang einzukehren. Wir tun das seit mehr als 30 Jahren und wurden kein einziges Ma(h)l enttäuscht. Wir sind jedes mal begeistert von der Crossover Küche, hier kein Schickimicki-Schlagwort, sondern echte Verbindung von Ostsee-Tradition und kreativer, moderner Küche ist. Und ungewöhnlich für die Küstenregion stimmt hier nicht nur die Bier-, sondern auch die Weinkarte. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut und die angenehm familiäre Atmosphäre passt gut zu einem perfektem Urlaubsfeeling.

We were a group of four for dinner at the restaurant, and it was a good thing we had made a reservation. It's a bit of a hidden gem, as the restaurant isn't directly on the Baltic Sea, but rather a bit off the beaten path. And it was truly a delight! Everything was perfect: the ambiance, the service, and the food were all outstanding. We'll definitely be back.

We made a reservation on Saturday evening and were not disappointed. Attentive, friendly service, a large menu, and a lovely ambiance. The food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable for the time. Parking in front of the door, simply put: a good choice.

Totally great, except for the fact that dogs like to be separated spatially

If you're in the area (or even if you're not), you should definitely stop by. The food is a real treat in a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere, and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Top!

Super delicious – pan-fried fish with fried potatoes and salad. Then we shared a cream puff with cherries, ice cream, and whipped cream. It's expensive, but it was also incredibly delicious. Make sure you reserve a table. We were only able to stay because the table was reserved for 7 p.m. All the tables were taken when we left. A lovely memory and a perfect end to our last day of vacation.

The profiteroles with plum compote were amazing. We'll try the other versions on our next visit.

Once again, top-notch! The cutlet is simply unique, the hake fillet excellent, and the service friendly and fast as always! A pearl on the Baltic Sea with "handmade" dishes and ingredients rarely found even in cosmopolitan cities, and when found, they are priceless. We wish the owners and team continued success in resisting the "ever cheaper" trend for a long time to come and continuing to serve their renowned top quality! All the best! We stopped there today during our bike tour. To say we were completely enthusiastic is an understatement. The food was simply delicious and fresh, the cream puffs... AMAZING. The service was super friendly, you feel completely at home. Needless to say, our bike tour was over after that. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon.

The schnitzel was tough, not like a proper veal wiener. Perhaps the veal was already 4 years old.

We went there with the whole family and were absolutely thrilled! The restaurant not only offers delicious food, but is also a little paradise for children. The large outdoor play area offers plenty of space for the little ones to run around while their parents relax and eat. However, it could use a little updating in some areas. The homemade cream puffs are especially recommended – fresh, fluffy, and simply heavenly! On the weekly tarte flambée days, there's a great selection straight from the outdoor oven, wonderfully crispy and delicious. The rest of the menu is also varied, with regional and seasonal dishes prepared with love. It's not exactly cheap, but it's still worth it. The staff is friendly, attentive, and fond of children. You can tell right away that families are warmly welcomed here. We'll definitely be back! 5 stars – absolutely recommended!

It was nice to sit outside, and the service was friendly. The food was very disappointing; the potatoes were inedible. The small side salad was unspectacular, and the fish in butter sauce was okay, nothing special. The rhubarb in the red fruit jelly was raw and inedible. The price was definitely too high, and our birthday dinner was disappointing. Perhaps we should have ordered cream puffs instead...

We find the dishes at this restaurant to be excellent, and we always enjoy visiting it during our holidays in Grömitz. There's a covered outdoor terrace with plenty of seating. Reservations are recommended.

Large cream puffs, service friendly but slow

We found the restaurant rather average. The reception (you're supposed to wait at the entrance until someone arrives) wasn't all that great. We stood for a while until someone arrived. There were other guests waiting with us (a small line), and when the young man came around the corner, he visibly rolled his eyes. You could clearly read his expression. What a shame! The season is just beginning, and are you already annoyed? The food was good, average, nothing more, nothing less. The service, by a lady, was quite friendly, although I find it odd to be addressed informally by strangers! I didn't find the ambiance (we sat in the room overlooking the parking lot) all that great. There were a lot of insects on the windows, which I find very unpleasant in a restaurant. The price-performance ratio is just about okay. I don't understand the hype about this restaurant.

We ate here with 2 children and 6 adults and it was great all around. The food was a 10/10! Both in terms of taste and appearance. The portion sizes were completely sufficient and requests for changes were no problem. The service was friendly, funny and you just felt comfortable. Prior reservation is recommended.

A bit out of the way, more rural. We were able to make a reservation online without any problem and had a really good meal in the restaurant. Typical German cuisine, with some options for vegetarians. The shrimp were extremely salty, but we were also offered an espresso or something similar. The service staff were very warm and treated us like old regulars. High feel-good factor. In warmer temperatures you can also sit outside. The only drawback: the restaurant is very, very loud. Almost like in a canteen. Here you could bring about a positive change through soundproofing or perhaps some suitable music.

Mit drei Kindern haben wir 165 Euro bezahlt und nicht einmal ein zweites Ü-Ei für die Kleine bekommen, geschweige denn einen Espresso aufs Haus. Die Bedienung, der wir fürs Bezahlen noch hinterherlaufen mussten, wurde dann sogar kiebig. Der Burger ohne Beilagen für 20(!) Euro war ein Witz aus Soßen, ohne Konsistenz oder Frischem. Das angeblich originale Wiener Schnitzel bestand aus drei kleinen Teilchen, die Panade war fettig, hat nach Fisch geschmeckt und war versalzen. Die Salate waren Balkan-Style.

Regional, seasonal cuisine and also vegetarian/vegan dishes are offered. To explain: My wife and I have been testing restaurants in Schleswig-Holstein for a long time. We are particularly interested in restaurants near the coast. The restaurant is located between Kellenhusen and Dahme. It is pleasantly quiet between these holiday paradises. The restaurant is chic and modernly furnished. There are 2 dining rooms and a garden area. Children have the opportunity to play outside. We were welcomed by Michaela. As I found out today after research, Michaela was the owner. She is really sweet/friendly and open-minded. She is there with all her heart. We noticed that immediately. Her refreshingly honest nature made you want more and more. We felt welcome at all times as she gave us her smile the whole time. The menu is well structured. We were pleased that there weren't too many different warm main courses. We have noticed in the past that when too many dishes are offered, the quality often suffers. That was not the case at all here in the Vogelsang restaurant. You can't get any more fresh and well-balanced taste. The menu can also be viewed on the homepage. I would ask about the seasonal dishes by phone in advance. I'm thinking, for example, of the asparagus season in spring or game in autumn. Appropriate special requests are gladly accepted. Our dishes: 1. Braised ox cheeks with red wine jus / carrots / mashed potatoes and chives. 2. Roasted pork loin with mushrooms/chanterelles/jus/fried potatoes/mixed salad plate with house dressing. First of all, we received a gift from the house: 4 small slices of baguette with goose fat in a small cup. We appreciate something like that. The small mixed salad was well prepared and fresh. Plus the delicious house dressing. The ox cheeks and pork loins were beautifully presented and served after a reasonable waiting time. Photos of the two dishes are included. The portions were just right in terms of volume. Dessert was therefore no longer possible afterwards due to lack of space in the body. The meal was a delight. The brown sauces were not standard. Each dish had its own unique sauce. After the first bite we noticed that the chef knows his craft. The pork comes from Deich Hof Michael Krebs, right next to the restaurant. He supplies the restaurant with high-quality different types of meat. The pig was a so-called Duroc straw pig. Top quality and particularly tender and juicy. By the way, Deich Hof Krebs has built a holiday home for holidaymakers. Just take a look at their homepage. Very attractive, high-quality, newly built holiday homes were created. A true paradise for families. Vogelsang as a restaurant next to it and the holiday is perfect. We will 100% come back and recommend the Restaurant Vogelsang. Nice location, spacious, nice service but... Our child has been full of every children's plate that we have ordered in different restaurants - here the pasta portion was simply ridiculously small and more intended for a 2-3 year old child. My GRILL plate was fried in a pan with plenty of fat. Update: yes, the visit was a while ago. Maybe I had too high expectations and chose the wrong dish (if it's no longer offered), which is why the visit was rather disappointing.

We had dinner there today, there was duck and fish for us. Everything was super tasty and of good quality. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the owners are very nice and accommodating.
